Abstract

Onde-onde is a popular traditional food, including variants made from purple sweet potato, which is rich in antioxidants. However, its perishable nature requires appropriate storage strategies to maintain quality. This study aimed to analyze the organoleptic changes of purple sweet potato onde-onde during storage at room temperature and chiller temperature. The study was conducted as an observational experimental design using a quantitative descriptive approach. Organoleptic observations included color, aroma, taste, and texture for seven days. Results showed that storage at room temperature caused a more rapid decline in quality, with signs of deterioration appearing as early as day 3 and the product becoming unfit for consumption on days 5–6. Conversely, storage at chiller temperature slowed down deterioration, with the product remaining fit for consumption until days 4–5. It can be concluded that chiller temperature is effective in extending the shelf life of purple sweet potato onde-onde and maintaining its sensory quality. Recommendations are given for product storage at refrigerated temperatures and for product packaging to include shelf life information.

Abstract

Speaking is one of the important language skills in everyday life. One of the learning models that can improve these skills is SQ3R. This research aims to describe the steps, advantages, and disadvantages of SQ3R model implementation in language learning at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Rembang and Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Kebumen. The research method used a qualitative approach with the research subjects being language teachers. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results showed that the steps of SQ3R include: Survey, the teacher helps students examine the structure of the reading text; Question, the teacher gives directions to formulate clear and relevant questions; Read, students read actively to find answers; Recite, students restate answers without looking at notes; and Review, students review questions and answers. The advantages of this model are that it can arouse curiosity, increase motivation, encourage critical thinking, and help remember material longer. However, the weakness lies in the lack of accuracy and student activeness which can hinder understanding of the material. The study concluded that the SQ3R model is effective in improving students' speaking skills in language subjects.

Abstract

The rapid development of the culinary industry in Indonesia has created fierce competition, including in the Yogyakarta culinary market. Soto Kadipiro & Ingkung Pengasih, as one of the legendary culinary businesses, faces challenges to maintain and improve its position in the market. the strategic location near the airport provides great opportunities, although tight competition and distance from the city center are threats that need to be overcome. Strategic recommendations include improvements in service speed, increased cleanliness, development of more aggressive marketing strategies, menu innovation, and efficient cost management.

Abstract

Education is a very important activity for every human being, whether normal or with special needs. There are 2-4 percent of children in Indonesia who suffer from ADHD/hyperactivity. Hyperactivity is a condition where an individual has problems in paying attention and concentrating on activities or something. The purpose of this study is to look at special education for hyperactive children, especially at State Elementary School 32 Pondok Kubang Bengkulu Tengah. In this study, the author used a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques in this study used observation and interviews. Research informants were taken using purposive sampling techniques. The results of the study show that at SDN 32 Bengkulu Tengah there is no special teacher to handle ADHD children, even though they do not have a special teacher the teachers there still provide a good education. Teachers at SDN 32 Bengkulu City give report card grades with different KKM between hyperactive children and other children. In addition, the provision of assignments and materials is slightly different between hyperactive children and other children.

Abstract

The flipped classroom model emerges as an innovative pedagogical approach that fosters active student participation and cultivates personal responsibility for learning, particularly within the context of distance education. This method presents a valuable alternative for delivering practical-oriented courses such as Applied Ethnomusicology. In practice, the instructor’s role shifts from a traditional knowledge transmitter to a learning facilitator whose responsibilities include guiding, inspiring, and supporting students in achieving optimal learning outcomes. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of implementing the flipped classroom model in the online learning of the rapa’i musical instrument at the Department of Performing Arts, Syiah Kuala University. Additionally, it seeks to describe the subjective perceptions and responses of both students and lecturers toward this instructional approach. Online learning was conducted using Zoom Meeting as the primary platform for synchronous interaction, supported by WhatsApp for content distribution and communication. A formative research methodology was employed, involving 20 students enrolled in the Applied Ethnomusicology course. Qualitative data were collected through observations of each flipped classroom phase and in-depth interviews with participants. Quantitative analysis was conducted to assess effectiveness via N-gain calculations. Results indicate that all stages of the flipped classroom model were successfully implemented, and the online learning process proceeded adequately despite challenges such as limited internet access and the scarcity of personal rapa’i instruments. Quantitatively, the model demonstrated moderate effectiveness, with an N-gain value of 0.3. Overall, students displayed high levels of enthusiasm and consistent engagement during each learning session, reflecting a significant increase in learning involvement.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi dan kreativitas dan keterampilan guru UPTD SDN 55 Pammanjengan dalam mengembangkan modul pembelajaran berdiferensiasi berbasis kearifan lokal Bugis Makassar dan karakter berbicara sopan. Metode yang digunakan adalah workshop yang dilaksanakan pada Selasa, 27 Agustus 2024, di UPTD SDN 55 Pammanjengan, dengan melibatkan 20 guru sebagai peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman guru tentang konsep berdiferensiasi, strategi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi, dan langkah-langkah penyusunan modul berdiferensiasi. Para guru juga berhasil merancang prototype modul pembelajaran yang mengintegrasikan kearifan lokal Bugis Makassar dan karakter berbicara sopan. Kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif dalam pengembangan kompetensi guru dan inovasi pembelajaran di sekolah tersebut.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan teknologi dalam dunia Pendidikan menuntut profesionalisme dan sikap adapatif para pendidik abad 21 untuk berinovasi dan terus mengembangkan berbagai perangkat, alat, dan model pembelajaraan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada upaya untuk menguji pengaruh model Quantum Teaching terhadap Motivasi dan Hasil Belajar siswa. Akurasi dan presisi statistik diandalkan dalam studi eksperimen terkontrol dengan desain – Non eqivalent control group ini, dan sebanyak 50 orang siswa SD kelas V digunakan sebagai sampel (subjek) penelitian. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik standar penelitian kuantitatif seperti: Observasi, Kuisioner dan Tes tertulis dengan kriteria yang telah ditentukan, dan dianalisis dengan perangkat Stastical Program for Social Sience (SPSS) 25. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan peningkatan terhadap Motivasi juga Hasil Belajar siswa pada kelas Eksperimen, di mana model diterapkan. Sementara pengujian hipotesis menegaskan pengaruh model Quantum Teaching terhadap Motivasi dan Hasil Belajar siswa, dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 atau < 0,05.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Anemia adalah suatu kondisi tubuh dimana kadar hemoglobin (Hb) dalam darah kurang dari normal, pada remaja putri dikatakan anemia bila kandungan Hbnya <12 gram/dl. Menurut WHO Angka kejadian anemia pada remaja putri di India selatan secara keseluruhan 67,9% dimana anemia sedang 37,05%, anemia ringan 21,42% dan anemia berat 9,4%. Penelitian di Sri Lanka 31,65%, Nepal 68,8%, Myanmar 26%, Maldives 57%, Banglades 98%. Angka kejadian anemia paling tinggi terjadi di Banglades 98%, Nepal 68,8% dan india selatan 67,9%. Riskesdas 2018, angka kejadian anemia di Indonesia sebesar 32%, artinya 3 sampai 4 dari 10 remaja menderita anemia. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya anemia pada remaja putri. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan Literatur Review dengan Pubmed dan google scholar sebagai database pencariannya. Data yang diambil adalah artikel penelitian dari tahun 2018-2022, dengan kata kunci adolescent anemia”, “Factor anemia adolescents”, “Risk factor for anemia”, “Faktor-faktor anemia pada remaja”, “Kejadian anemia remaja faktor resiko”. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menemukan faktor dukungan yang mempengaruhi terjadinya anemia pada remaja putri yaitu: Tingkat pengetahuan remaja (p-value = 0.000 maka p <0,05), Indeks masa tubuh (IMT) (p value = 0.000 maka p <0,05) dan Siklus menstruasi (p= 0,003 < 0,05) memiliki hubungan yang signifikan terjadinya anemia pada remaja putri Kesimpulan: Faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap kejadian anemia adalah tingkat pengetahuan, IMT (gemuk dan kurus), siklus menstruasi (Panjang siklus menstruasi, volume darah haid yang keluar).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model belajar Blended Learning menggunakan Phet Simulation terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas VI SD Negeri Srepeng Semanu. Hasil refleksi guru terhadap pembelajaran di Masa Pandemi Covid-19, menunjukkan bahwa rendahnya hasil belajar siswa disebabkan oleh kurang tepatnya metode pembelajaran daring dan tatap muka terbatas yang dilaksanakan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Kuantitatif Korelasional yaitu menyelidiki sejauh mana Model Blended Learning melalui Phet Simulation mempengaruhi hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas VI SDN Srepeng Semanu berdasarkan koefisien korelasi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN Srepeng Semanu, Gunungkidul dalam proses pembelajaran daring dan tatap muka terbatas Mata Pelajaran IPA Kelas VI Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VI SDN Srepeng Semanu, dengan jumlah siswa 20 siswa, terdiri dari 9 siswa perempuan dan 11 siswa laki-laki. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu tes berupa pretes dan postes untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa. Pembelajaran dengan Model Blended Learning melalui Phet Simulation dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini terihat dari peningkatan hasil belajar siswa yang signifikan. Nilai rata - rata pretes atau sebelum menggunakan model ini adalah 53, sedangkan nilai postes atau setelah menggunakan model Blended Learning melalui Phet Simulation adalah 61,5.

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to improve young people’s understanding of the traditional art of Meudike while instilling religious and social values through Meudike poetry creation training at SMP Negeri 3 Ingin Jaya, Aceh Besar Regency. The activity was conducted using a Problem Based Learning (PBL) approach combined with creative learning based on traditional arts. The participants consisted of 30 tenth-grade students who were involved in several stages of activities, including presenting problems related to juvenile delinquency, problem-solving discussions, creating Meudike poetry, determining melodies, and presenting the works in groups. The results showed that the training was able to enhance students’ creativity, critical thinking skills, collaboration, communication, and appreciation of Acehnese local culture. The poetry created by the students contained moral messages as well as religious and social values related to everyday life. In addition, this activity also served as a medium for character building through the internalization of religious and social values in cultural arts learning. Therefore, Meudike poetry creation training can become one of the efforts to preserve Acehnese traditional arts while also serving as a means of character education for the younger generation.
