Abstract

Money politics poses a serious threat to the quality of democracy by undermining electoral integrity and discouraging meaningful political participation. Civics (PPKn) education plays a strategic role in fostering students’ political awareness and encouraging them to reject unethical political practices. This qualitative descriptive study involved 5 PPKn teachers and 8 high school students in Meukek District, South Aceh. Data were collected through interviews and analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques. The findings reveal that PPKn teachers play a crucial role in curricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities. In curricular settings, they strengthen students’ understanding of the negative impacts of money politics through subject content and critical discussions. In extracurricular contexts, they promote student involvement in election simulations and political awareness campaigns. However, most schools in Meukek lack extracurricular programs focused on political education. Inhibiting factors include limited student interest in politics, economic constraints, cultural influences, low political literacy, and the pervasive culture of transactional politics. Enhancing the role of PPKn teachers across educational dimensions is essential to developing politically aware, critical-minded students who support clean and fair democratic practices.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the attitude of ex-combatants and conflict victim of Aceh post-MoU Helsinki to the use of language, both Indonesian as a national language and Acehnese as one of the dominant regional languages in Aceh. This project is done within the purpose of Indonesian guidance, protection and defense as the language of unity and language of Aceh as one of the mother tongues in the archipelago. The targets of the annual achievements of this research are as follows: (1) scientific publications, both accredited national scientific journals and international scientific journals, (2) papers in scientific meetings, and (3) ISBN textbooks. The result of the research showed that the attitude of the ex-combatants in the post-MoU Helsinki was positively conflicting, both to the Indonesian language as the national and the Acehnese language as one of the regional languages in Aceh.

Abstract

The prolonged conflict between the Free Aceh Movement (GAM) and the Government of the Republic of Indonesia has resulted in social disruption, collective trauma, and the weakening of community social structures. Although a peace agreement was reached through the 2005 Helsinki Memorandum of Understanding, the greatest post-conflict challenge lies in rebuilding trust, solidarity, and social harmony. An interesting phenomenon is the success of Acehnese society in achieving social stability through internal strengths, particularly a strong Islamic religious approach and deeply rooted local culture. This article aims to analyze the contribution of religious and local cultural approaches in fostering post-conflict social harmony in Aceh. This study is qualitative in nature, using a descriptive-interpretative approach. Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews, document analysis, and surveys. Key informants consisted of religious leaders (ulama), traditional leaders, former GAM combatants, women leaders, youth, and village officials located in former conflict-affected regions such as Pidie, North Aceh, and Bireuen. Data analysis employed a thematic approach through data reduction, categorization, interpretation of findings, and inductive conclusion drawing. The findings show that religious approaches, through the active roles of ulama, religious gatherings (majelis taklim), and Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), have been effective in restoring faith-based values and community social ethics. Meanwhile, local cultural elements such as peusijuek (traditional blessing rituals), gampong deliberations, and customary village institutions have served as effective means of social reconciliation, strengthening community ties and resolving horizontal conflicts. The synergy between religious values and local wisdom has formed a strong social system for maintaining peace and preventing future conflicts. In conclusion, religious and local cultural approaches have proven to be fundamental pillars in creating sustainable social harmony in post-conflict Aceh. This model can serve as a strategic reference for other conflict-affected regions seeking to build peace through local potential.

Abstract

Research on dispositional forgiveness has primarily concentrated on the intraindividual level. The aim of this study is to analyze dispositional forgiveness using ecological systems theory, with a systematic review and thematic analysis technique. A literature search was performed from 2018 to 2025 in a range of electronic databases: Scopus, PubMed, Google Scholar, and Science Direct. Of 26,550 results from the searches, 15 articles fulfilled the inclusion criteria and were chosen for analysis. Thematic analysis indicates that dispositional forgiveness research is primarily undertaken within the microsystem, including personality, well-being, resilience, self-efficacy, emotional intelligence, self-acceptance, attachment and anxiety. Studies on macrosystem dimensions, involving cultural and historical variables that determine individual forgiveness, are limited. Researchers can use the findings of this study as a reference to perform exploratory research on cultural values and historical circumstances that influence forgiveness attributes. Empirical research is also needed, particularly on children. Keywords: dispositional forgiveness; ecological systems theory; microsystem; systematic review

Abstract

Aceh, a post-conflict region in Indonesia, continues to face challenges in fostering social cohesion and reconciliation through education. Despite its crucial role in peacebuilding, peace education remains insufficiently integrated into the formal curriculum. This study investigated the systematic incorporation of peace education within the junior high school Social Studies curriculum in Aceh through a Research and Development (R&D) design. The research consisted of three phases: (1) curriculum mapping to identify opportunities for peace-related themes, (2) development of a structured peace education module, and (3) evaluation of its effectiveness through classroom observations, focus group discussions (FGDs), interviews, and pre- and post-tests involving 70 students and 9 teachers in Pidie Regency. Findings showed that values such as tolerance, mediation, and conflict resolution are implicitly present in existing materials but lack structured pedagogical integration. The developed module, validated by experts and teachers, significantly improved students’ understanding of peace concepts, empathy, and conflict resolution skills. Embedding peace education into existing curricula, rather than introducing it as a separate subject, proved more sustainable and contextually effective. The study highlighted the importance of comprehensive teacher training and supportive policy frameworks to enable large-scale implementation, this research supports Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 4 and SDG 16), advancing quality education, peace, and strong institutions. The model offers a scalable framework for integrating peace education into Social Studies curricula in other post-conflict regions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memfokuskan pada Model Case Study untuk pembentukan keterampilan siswa salah satunya adalah keterampilan kewarganegaraan (civic skill). Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu 1) untuk menganalisis implementasi Model Case Study dalam meningkatkan Civic Skill siswa pada pembelajaran PPKn di SMA Negeri 4 Banda Aceh; 2) untuk mengetahui cara guru menghadapi tantangan dalam proses implementasi Model Case Study dalam meningkatkan Civic Skill siswa pada pembelajaran PPKn di SMA Negeri 4 Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Kualitatif dengan Pendekatan deskriptif. Lokasi penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 4 Banda Aceh Tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah siswa-siswi dari kelas XI IA 6 yang berjumlah 36 orang dan guru PPKn SMA Negeri 4 Banda Aceh. Adapun Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi serta dengan analisis data melalui langkah-langkah reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa 1) Proses Pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan dengan implementasi Model Case Study dapat meningkatkan Civic Skill siswa yang terdiri dari keterampilan intelektual dan keterampilan berpartisipasi, walaupun peningkatan dari semua indikatornya tidak menunjukkan hasil yang menyeluruh; 2) Cara guru menghadapi tantangan dalam implementasi Model Case Study tersebut adalah guru perlu meluangkan waktu dan usaha untuk mencari atau membuat studi kasus yang sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran dan kebutuhan siswa kemudian melakukan pendekatan kepada siswa untuk memberikan kuis, tanya jawab serta meminta siswa agar lebih kondusif dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang bagaimana Persepsi Guru Terhadap Survey Karakter Pada Asesmen Nasional Di Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh asesmen nasional yang mencangkup survey karakter sebagai komponen penting serta kebutuhan untuk memahami secara mendalam bagaimana para pendidik diwilayah ini menganggap serta merespon adanya surey karakter dalam kerangka pendidikan nasional. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: Pertama Untuk memperoleh pemahaman tentang persepsi guru terhadap survey karakter pada asesmen nasional di Banda Aceh. Kedua Untuk mengetahui bagaimana persiapan yang dilakukan guru dalam mempersiapkan siswa untuk mengikuti survey karakter. Ketiga Untuk mengidentifikasi tantangan apa saya yang di hadapi oleh guru dalam mempersiapkan siswa untuk mengikuti survey karakter. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian kualitatif yang terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data dan menarik kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, temuan peneliti ini dapat dikemukakan sebagai berikut. Pertama, Persepsi guru di Banda Aceh terhadap survey karakter sebagai instrumen penilaian non-akademik siswa mayoritas guru merasa survey karakter peting dan efektif dalam memberikan gambaran tentang perkembangan karakter siswa. Kedua usaha yang dilakukan guru untuk mempersiapkan siswa menjelang survey karakter adalah dengan menerapkan beragam pendekatan untuk mengembangkan karakter siswa. Ketiga, Adapun tantangan yang dihadapi guru dalam mempersiapkan survey karakter yaitu kurangnya persiapan dikarenakan waktu yang singkat, merancang pembelajaran pebelajaran yang sesuai dengan karakter siswa, merumuskan asesmen karater yang beragam dan mengatasi ketidak minatan siswa dalam literasi dalam membaca soal pada survey. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah persepsi guru terhadap survey karakter pada asesmen nasional di Banda Aceh adalah baik karena bermanfaat bagi guru juga untuk mengetahui bagaimana karakter siswa dan bisa membantu guru dalam mengembangkan proses belajar mengajar karena telah ada pemahaman tentang bagaimana sikap siswa.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis proses tranformasi semangat nasionalisme pada siswadi SMA Kabupaten Simeulue melalui gerakan literasi sekolah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian sebanyak sepuluh orang yang terdiri atas kepala sekolah dan guru Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan di SMA Kabupaten Simeulue. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara dan observasi. Analisis data menggunkan teknik interaktif dari Miles, Huberman, & Saldana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses tranformasi semangat nasionalisme pada siswa di SMA Kabupaten Simeulue  dilaksanakan dengan tiga. Pertama, mentranformasi nilai-nilai Pancasila sebagai semangat nasionalisme melalui pembelajaran. Proses ini mengarah pada penanaman nilai-nilai Pancasila melalui penguatan pemahaman terhadap Pancasila sehingga tercermin dalam cara berpikir dan berperilaku yang menunjukan karakteristik manusia Indonesia. Kedua, mengoptimalisasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan dalam membentuk semangat nasionalisme generasi muda. Proses ini mengarah pada kesiapan guru dalam merancang pembelajaran yang dapat mengotimalkan penanaman nilai-nilai Pancasila pada generasi muda. Ketiga, membumikan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GSL) dalam membentuk semangat nasionalisme generasi muda. Proses tersebut dilaksanakan dengan membudayakan literasi kepada warga sekolah. Kesimpulannya bahwa proses tranformasi semangat nasionalisme telah dilaksanakan di SMA Kabupaten Simeulue melalui gerakan literasi sekolah.AbstractThis study aims to analyze the transformation process of the spirit of nationalism in students at SMA Simeulue Regency through the school literacy movement. The research is descriptive qualitative research. The research subjects were ten people consisting of school principals and Civics and Pancasila Education teachers at SMA Simeulue Regency. Data collecting uses interview and observation techniques. Data analysis uses interactive technique from Miles, Huberman, & Saldana. The results of the study show that the process of transforming the spirit of nationalism in students at SMA Simeulue Regency was carried out in three ways. First, transforming Pancasila values as the spirit of nationalism through learning. This process leads to the cultivation of Pancasila values through strengthening understanding of Pancasila so that it is reflected in ways of thinking and behaving that show the characteristics of Indonesian people. Second, optimizing the implementation of Pancasila and Civic Education learning in shaping the spirit of nationalism in the younger generation. This process leads to the readiness of teachers in designing learning that can optimize the instillation of Pancasila values in the younger generation. Third, grounding the School Literacy Movement (GSL) in shaping the spirit of nationalism of the younger generation. This process is carried out by cultivating literacy among the school community. The conclusion is that the process of transforming the spirit of nationalism has been carried out at SMA Simeulue Regency through the school literacy movement.

Abstract

The actualization of an Islamic-based curriculum in Negeri Serambi Mecca can be understood as an effort to integrate Islamic teachings into all aspects of education in Aceh. Aceh as one of the regions in Indonesia has a long history as the center of Islamic civilization in the archipelago. Therefore, efforts to develop Islamic-based education in Aceh can be seen as an effort to strengthen Aceh's Islamic identity and develop the quality of education in this area. This study uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach. The results of the study show that the Islamic curriculum in Aceh has not yet received a real picture of how the teaching and learning process and evaluation in the Islamic curriculum are implemented and desired by the education office. In general, there are several main reasons why the Aceh curriculum is not implemented until 2022, including namely; (a) there is no systematic socialization of the contents of the Aceh curriculum (Islamic curriculum), (b) there is no specific guidebook for the implementation of the Aceh curriculum, both in terms of content, methods and implementation strategies, (c) there are no pilot schools for implementing the curriculum Aceh (pilot project), and (d) there are no Aceh curriculum learning tools yet.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the mental workload of forklift operators at PT. NDIS, using the NASA-Task Load Index (NASA-TLX) method. Data was collected through an online questionnaire, with results indicating a "high" level of mental workload. The study identifies workload factors such as mental, physical, temporal demands, performance, effort, frustration, and fatigue, exacerbated by high operational demands. This research contributes to designing work systems that consider safety and health factors. Moreover, it deepens the understanding of employees' psychological conditions, which supports efforts to enhance productivity.
