Abstract

This study aims to analyze the differences in revenue and income from the use of Eco-enzyme and without Eco-enzyme in Stevia plants. The research was conducted for 3 months from December 2022 to February 2023 at Stevia farm, Kolongan Atas II Village, Sonder District, Minahasa Regency. This research is a continuation of the Student Creative Program activities in 2022 funded by Sam Ratulangi University. The research data were collected using primary data obtained through structured observation, documentation, and data recording of all Stevia plant farming activities observed from upstream to downstream. The collection using secondary data was obtained through literature studies of previous research sourced from the internet such as google scholar, journals, books, and online newspapers based on the data needed in the study. Variables measured are the amount of Stevia leaf production, price, production costs, fixed costs, variable costs, revenue, income. The data analysis method used in this research is quantitatively by calculating the income from Stevia farming activities then the results that have been obtained are described in descriptive form. The results showed that there were differences in income results between the use of Eco-enzyme fertilizer and without Eco-enzyme. Stevia farming income with a planting area of 39 m2 using Eco-enzyme obtained IDR22.413,32 and without Eco-enzyme obtained -IDR71.566,68. Comparison of income results showed that Eco-enzyme is more profitable to be used in Stevia farming because of the increase in production which increases income.

Abstract

The coconut industry in North Sulawesi has not maximized coconut husk in its business. Most only use the flesh as copra, crude oil (CCO), and cooking oil. From several research results, it turns out that the portion of coconut husk utilization is still very limited in management, and even thrown away. This study aims to analyze the technological and economic feasibility (techno-economy) of the development of the coconut husk industrial system as an effort to provide stakeholder considerations in increasing the value and income of coconut farmers in North Sulawesi. This research was conducted for three months with survey locations in 2 (two) coconut producing areas in North Sulawesi Province, namely South Minahasa Regency and Bitung City. The research method was carried out by conducting surveys and interviews with coconut farmers, entrepreneurs, local government agencies and with experts, then calculating and studying several parameters for measuring the economic value of alternative technologies and equipment used. The results showed that from the measurement of the NPV (Net Present Value), net B/C ratio, IRR (Internal Rate of Return) and PP (Payback Period) it is known that several alternative systems for the development of the coconut husk industry with fiber, cocopeat and rope products are feasible to be developed in South Minahasa Regency and Bitung City. Several things that are very important in the feasibility of developing this agro-industrial system are equipment technology (process), prices of processed products (output) and a continuous market/off taker. The investment value of processing equipment technology is relatively high, so to increase the enthusiasm of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) it really needs government intervention in equipment technology assistance and market certainty.

Abstract

This study aims to determine what factors affect maize production in Poigar District. This research was conducted in Poigar District where most of the people are farmers. This research activity was carried out from May to June in 2022. The results showed that the results of hypothesis testing in the F (simultaneous) test showed that together the variable land area, seed variable, urea fertilizer variable, phonska fertilizer variable, labor variable work, pesticide variables, and farming experience variables affect the amount of corn production in Poigar District. And testing the hypothesis on the T test that partially the factors that affect corn production at = 0.05 are factors that significantly affect corn production in Poigar District, namely factor (X1) land area, factor (X4) Phonska fertilizer, factor (X5) significant workforce in Poigar District.

Abstract

This study aims to determine differences in production yields as seen from the visual state of the plants and to analyze the comparison of production yields and stevia farming income between the use of local organic fertilizer eco-enzyme and non-local organic fertilizer instead of eco-enzyme. The research was carried out for 3 months from October 2022 to December 2022 which took place in Kolongan Atas II Village, Sonder District, Minahasa Regency. The variables in this study look at the visual comparison of plants and analyze income. The sampling method in this study used purposive sampling on each bed. Analysis of the research data was carried out by calculating the average results of the variables that have been observed to see the comparisons obtained. Furthermore, based on the fresh weight of the first cutting, the income earned is analyzed. The results of observations from research that has been carried out using eco-enzyme organic fertilizers produce an average growth rate faster than non-eco-enzyme organic fertilizers seen in differences in plant height, leaf length, leaf width, and number of leaves, first cutting weight, and income earned, meaning that the effect of using eco-enzymes is able to increase agricultural production yields so that it has the potential to increase farm income if prices remain constant or do not fall.

Abstract

In the future, will the human intelligence be replaced by the ChatGPT engines and its derivatives? Many people think so. However actually human intelligence cannot be replaced by machines. ChatGPT was created by a handful of super-intelligent humans backed by a handful of super-rich investors. Therefore actually the intelligence of 99.99 percent of humans on earth is subdued by 0.01 percent of super intelligent and super rich people who want to rule the earth. It is in this case that the intellectuals should prepare themselves so as not to be easily subdued. Merdeka Campus – Merdeka Learning has been implemented in recent years. If the campus is already independent, scientific journals should also be independent. Even though the journal represents a particular scientific specialization, it is necessary to also present other interdisciplinary scientific articles in it. The rigidity of one field of knowledge leads an intellectual to egoism and empty arrogance. Meanwhile, interdisciplinary knowledge brings an intellectual to humble and humane insight. The AGRI-SOSIOEKONOMI Journal wants to appear to defend humanity, not defend monodisciplinary scientific arrogance which has been and will die defeated by artificial intelligence and algorithms. Hopefully this idea will bring dialogue between experts, because that's how academic culture comes alive.
