Abstract

This study aims to improve the basic writing skills of children aged 4-5 years through collage activities using rubber seeds at TK Islam Al-Husein. The research employs the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method using the Kemmis & McTaggart model, implemented in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 12 children from Group A, with data collection techniques involving observation, documentation, and informal interviews. The results show a significant increase from the pre-cycle to cycle II. In the pre-cycle, no children (0%) achieved the minimal "Developing as Expected (BSH)" category. After Cycle I, the achievement rose to 33.33% of children in the BSH category. In Cycle II, 75.00% had reached the minimal category, with details as follows: Developing Well (BDB) at 33.33% (4 children), Developing as Expected (BSH) at 41.67% (5 children), and Starting to Develop (MB) at 25.00% (3 children). This improvement reflects the effectiveness of the rubber seed collage activity in training hand-eye coordination, strengthening fine motor skills, and fostering children's motivation to learn to write. Thus, the collage method using rubber seeds can be recommended as a creative learning medium to stimulate pre-writing skills in early childhood.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an Augmented Reality (AR)-based learning medium using a Science Inquiry approach to enhance science literacy among early childhood learners. The study follows the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The research subjects included early childhood students and teachers from two preschools in Jember, Indonesia. Research instruments involved observations, questionnaires, and interviews to assess children's understanding, engagement, and motivation, as well as teacher satisfaction and ease of use. Data analysis techniques included both formative and summative evaluations: formative evaluation examined each stage of the ADDIE model, while summative evaluation assessed the AR medium's effectiveness in enhancing science literacy and overall learning experience. Trial results show that the use of AR significantly improves children's understanding of scientific concepts, active engagement, and motivation in learning science. Additionally, both children and teachers rated the AR media as easy to use, with high levels of satisfaction reported by teachers, underscoring the medium’s accessibility and impact. Summative evaluations reveal that the AR medium positively impacts science literacy, with an overall rating of "excellent." Consequently, AR-based media with a Science Inquiry approach shows great promise as an innovative solution for improving science literacy among young children in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study uses ecoprint batik to improve the speaking skills of children aged 4-5 years. Kemmis and McTaggart's Classroom Action Research (CAR) paradigm includes preparation, implementation, observation, and reflection in each cycle. The subjects of the study were seven boys and three girls aged 4-5 years at ABA Kasiyan Kindergarten (TK ABA Kasiyan). Direct observation and documentation were used to obtain the data for this study. Children's verbal abilities increased rapidly. In the classroom action research, ecoprint batik playing activities dramatically improved children's speaking skills. In cycle 1, the percentage of children with the criteria "Very Good (AB)" increased from 0% to 50% and the criteria "Good (B)" from 30% to 50%. This indicates that playing ecoprint batik improves the speaking skills of ABA Kindergarten children.

The point of this inquire about is to decide the advancement in fundamental science aptitudes of youthful children through the instructive amusement instrument finger calculator. This investigate was spurred by the moo essential numerical capacities of children in understanding number images and gathering numbers, seen from the comes about of starting perceptions which appeared that as it were 28% (5 children) were creating concurring to desires and none were creating exceptionally well. Typically since one of the learning strategies is less curiously since it isn't bolstered by curiously and fun instructive amusement media such as the finger calculator media. This investigate employments a subjective and quantitative clear approach with classroom activity investigate and the Kemmis & Mc show. Taggart. The put of this investigate is gather B of TK Muslimat NU 134 At Taqwa. The investigate subjects were 18 understudies comprising of 8 male understudies and 10 female understudies. Information collection strategies utilize perception sheets. This investigate is considered effective in the event that 71% of children can be said to be creating exceptionally well and creating agreeing to desires. The comes about of this ponder appear an increase in the fundamental science capacities of young children. The change can be demonstrated from the results of cycle I. The whole number of children who have created agreeing to desires and created exceptionally well is 11 children with a rate of 61% and in cycle II the full number of children has accomplished advancement agreeing to desires and created exceptionally well, totaling 15 children with a percentage of 89%.

Abstract

Abstract

Speaking is the ability to produce articulate sounds or words to express, convey, and convey thoughts, ideas, and feelings. Children aged 3-4 years are generally able to receive and understand language, are able to listen to conversations, and enjoy listening to and retelling simple stories in an easy-to-understand sequence. While development occurs naturally, appropriate stimulation is essential for optimal development of speaking skills. The challenge is how to provide effective and engaging stimulation for children of this age. The purpose of this research is to improve speaking skills through animated videos. The specific objectives of this research are the ability to pronounce words clearly, to string together 3-5 words into a sentence, and to begin using words to express basic emotions such as happiness, sadness, or anger. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis model, a spiral cycle consisting of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. This cycle repeats continuously until the research objectives are achieved, where the results of the reflection will form the basis for planning the next cycle, which aims to refine and improve learning practices. The expected benefits of this research are to encourage teachers to increase the use of video media for early childhood and to encourage children's speaking skills according to their developmental level in a fun way. Therefore, this study can be concluded that animated video media successfully improves the speaking skills of children aged 3-4 years.
