Abstract

This study aims to improve the results of basketball jump shot training through a study of the development of training methods. The research method used is development research. Development research that refers to the development model of Borg and Gall, namely: 1) preliminary study, 2) early development model, 3) expert evaluation, 4) small-scale trial, 5) product revision, 6) group trial, 7) refine the model, 8) define the final model. Data are collected using a questionnaire obtained from the evaluation of basketball experts and coaches, then tested with a small group of 12 athletes and a large-scale trial of 24 athletes. The data are the results of an assessment of product quality, suggestions for product improvement, and the results of filling out questionnaires by athletes. The data analysis technique used is descriptive percentage to reveal the athlete's assessment after using the product. The results of the validation of the development of training methods from basketball experts obtain an average percentage of 94.5%. While the validation of the development of training methods from basketball coaches obtain an average percentage of 96.2%. The results of the questionnaire that is filled out by 12 athletes are 21.7% who answering difficult, 46.7% answering moderately, and 31.6% answering easy. The results of the analysis of small-scale trial data from 12 athletes obtain an average percentage of 20.83% answering difficult, 50% answering moderate, and 29.16% answering easy. The results of the analysis of large-scale trial data from 24 athletes obtain an average percentage of 6.7% who answering difficult, 19.1% answering moderately, and 74.1% answering easy. Abstract

The development of scientific publications in the field of traditional game learning models requires more research in order to compete with other fields. The goal of this research is to look at the production of scientific publications based on the traditional game learning model. The Scopus database and various bibliometric indicators such as global publication trends, most active authors, number of citations, and author keywords are used to collect publications. From 1996 to 2022, a total of 473 publications on traditional game learning models are discovered. Data in Comma-separated Values (CSV) and Research Information Systems (RIS) formats are exported to Microsoft Excel, Publish or Perish (PoP), and VOSviewer software for this review. According to the research findings, 2021 has been the year with the most publications, with 139 documents. Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia is listed as the most active affiliate, with up to 80 academic scientific works published. Suherman, A., from Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, is the most active writer, with 13 publications to his credit. With 60 documents, the Journal of Physics Conference Series is the most actively published scientific resource. Some of the research limitations in our paper include the selection of keywords that do not represent the entire search data, data filters, and data providers. It should be noted that a variety of other databases can be used to obtain data. This bibliometric study sheds light on future research directions in the field of traditional game learning models.

Abstract

Effective management is required to aid students in positively developing their character and skills during the physical education learning process. The goal of this study is to conduct a bibliometric analysis of management in physical education publications that have been published in Scopus. The study focuses on the productivity of publishing management in physical education papers on Scopus, on the most prestigious journals, authors, and articles, and on an analysis of keywords that frequently appear in management in physical education articles published on Scopus. The search yields 598 documents that were published in the Scopus database between 2017 and 2021. The majority of publications are written by Webster, C.A., who has six published articles. The most active scientific journal is the Journal of Physical Education and Sport, which has 26 published articles. With 41 links, the United States has the most total link strength of any nation. With 122 instances, "physical education" is the term that is used most frequently. The newest keywords include "big data," "COVID-19," "diet," "sports management," and "knowledge." The most read article on the subject of management in physical education was "Domain-Specific Physical Activity and Mental Health: A Meta-analysis." The research's limitation is that the author is only able to use data from the Scopus database and is only able to use sources that are journal articles; however, the Scopus database also contains other types of sources, including proceedings, book chapters, editorials, notes, erratums, books, and book series. This study contributes to the development of new concepts in the study of physical education management, and it is necessary to conduct future research related to this research theme, which is one of the areas that can be studied more deeply in order to produce learning products according to the needs and developments of the times.
