Abstract

Judging from the realm of Islamic Religious Education graduates, they have a graduate profile that is expected to be a center in education that produces superior Islamic Educators. However, in reality, there are students who graduate from Islamic Religious Education who have a background as educators or education graduates who prefer to work in non-educational fields. The impact of this phenomenon itself can lead to other phenomena, so this study seeks to provide a description of how this phenomenon can occur and of course this is influenced by several factors in decision making, decision-making styles and what difficulties are faced after making a decision to work in a non-profit sector. education. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Sources of data came from 10 students who graduated from Islamic Religious Education UNP who worked in the non-educational field by conducting in-depth interviews. The results of the interviews were analyzed systematically with four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Overall, the results of the analysis show that the internal factors that influence the decision making of PAI graduate students are interests and talents, as well as personality. Then three external factors that influence, namely: 1) parents, 2) environment, 3) salary/financial. Meanwhile, there are two decision-making styles used by PAI graduate students, namely the rational style and the intuitive style.

Abstract

This study aims to examine: 1) Strategies of Islamic Religious Education Subject Teachers in Shaping Islamic Personality towards Students at SMPN 24 Padang. 2) Students' evaluation of the strategy of Islamic Religious Education subject teachers in shaping students' Islamic personalities. 3) Inhibiting factors and supporting factors of Islamic Religious Education subject teachers in shaping students' Islamic personalities at SMPN 24 Padang. The method used in the research that has been carried out is a qualitative research group with a descriptive approach. This research was conducted at SMPN 24 Padang. Data was collected using techniques including observation, documentation, and interviews. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, the following conclusions are obtained: 1) The strategy used by teachers of Islamic Religious Education subjects in shaping Islamic personality in terms of worship and morals is by using strategies through exemplary methods, habituation, and also advice. 2) Evaluation of students on the strategy of teachers of Islamic Religious Education subjects in shaping the Islamic personality of students at SMPN 24 Padang, namely by always controlling the behavior and worship of students. 3) Supporting factors in shaping the Islamic personality of students are the school, especially the principal, teachers, guardians of students, and also the surrounding community. 4) Then the inhibiting factors are the level of willingness of the students themselves, the use of gadgets, the environment of their friends, and also the family environment.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the planning, implementation and evaluation of the aplication of the acroniym mnemonic strategy in MAN 2 Pesisir Selatan. This research is a field research with a qualitative approach, the data sources are taken from several informants using purposive sampling. The outhor uses is data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate: First, planning including, preparation before learning the teacher prepares lesson plans, concept maps, prepares materials and teaching materials. Preparations before studying such as conditioning the study room free from garbage and saying greetings. Seconds, the implementation consists of introduction such as reading prayers before studying, taking student attendance. Core activities such as introducing value banks, reviewing material, giving motivation to students and closing, the teacher presents sub materals at the next meeting. Third, the evaluation of this activity is that the teacher calls studts to come to the front of the class and repeat the material that has been taught by the teacher in an oral test.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the decline of morality in adolescents. This study aims to analyze the values ​​of moral education in the film Iqro: Petualangan Meraih Bintang. The benefits of this research are: 1) To increase knowledge about the value of moral education in the film Iqro: Petualangan Meraih Bintang; 2) As a source of information for educators and parents to know the value of moral education in the film Iqro: Petualangan Meraih Bintang; 3) As a reference for educators and parents in selecting and presenting educational programs for adolescents. This research is a literature study with the type of research specification using a content analysis approach. The results of the study show that the values ​​of moral education in the film Iqro: Petualangan Meraih Bintang are five, namely: 1) Morals to Allah, namely gratitude, patience and trust; 2) Morals to the Messenger of Allah, namely following the instructions of the Apostle; 3) Morals to oneself, namely persistent in learning the Qur'an, humble, and forgiving; 4) Morals to fellow human beings, namely helping, loving each other, giving gifts, giving advice to, and respecting both parents; 5) Morals to the universe, namely learning to study the universe, utilizing nature and its contents, and creating nature.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the strategies of PAI teachers and the supporting and inhibiting factors in instilling Islamic character in SD Negeri 41 Seberang Padang Selatan. This study uses a qualitative method with the type of research Library Research (library research). Sources of research data are principals, PAI teachers, homeroom teachers, and several students. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the strategies of PAI teachers in instilling Islamic character in SD Negeri 41 Seberang Padang Selatan were exemplary strategies, advice, habituation, and innovative learning. The results of this study also show that the supporting factors in instilling Islamic character in SD Negeri 41 Seberang Padang Selatan are professional teachers and the school environment, while the inhibiting factors in instilling Islamic character in SD Negeri 41 Seberang Padang Selatan are the parent factor and the gadget factor.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the supporting factors and inhibiting factors for the implementation of spiritual education in the Sammaniyah congregation at the Surau Engku Boncah in Taeh Baruah, Lima Puluh Kota. This study uses the type of ethnographic research as a qualitative research method Sources of research data are Mursyid at Surau Engku Boncah, and one of the students at Surau Engku Boncah. Data collection the techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. The research data were tested for validity using source, technique, and time triangulation techniques. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the inhibiting factor for spiritual education in the Sammaniyah congregation at Surau Engku Boncah is that there are teachers who are ready to carry out their duties, and the Taeh Baruah community is already used to the Tarekat, while the inhibiting factor is an ideology which considers the Tarekat to be heretical teaching.

Abstract

Latar belakang dari penelitian ini adalah selama terjadinya proses belajar mengajar, banyak sekali siswa yang hasil belajarnya sangat menurun, akibatnya siswa sangat susah untuk paham terhadap suatu pembelajaran. Jika dilihat dari segi ke aktifan siswa, siswa yang aktif hanya beberapa orang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi dari model kooperatif tipe (STAD) dalam meningkatkan aktivitas belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan sampel kelas V SDN 18 air tawar selatan kecamatan padang utara dengan jumlah murid 15 orang. Instrument dan tekhnik pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan format observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu pengambilan kesimpulan dari wawancara guru dan siswa. Hasil yang didapat dari penelitian ini yaitu model STAD terbukti dapat untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa, ini terlihat saat peneliti mengamati peserta didik yang sangat bersemangat dan antusias saat kegiatan pembelajaran berlangsung, oleh karena itu model STAD ini dapat digunakan untuk pembelajaran agar proses belajar mengajar dilaksanakan secara efektif dan efisien.

Abstract

This study examines the problems of Islamic Religious Education teachers in fostering the morals of class XI students at SMK Negeri 7 Padang. The purpose of this study is to find out how and what the problems of Islamic Religious Education teachers are in fostering morals. Then how the solutions to problems of Islamic Religious Education teachers in fostering morals in class XI SMK Negeri 7 Padang. The method used in this research is the qualitative method. The population of this study was teachers of Islamic Religious Education, class XI students of SMK Negeri 7 Padang with a sample of 6 respondents. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that (1) the problems of Islamic Religious Education teachers in fostering morals are the lack of morals towards Allah SWT, oneself, teachers, friends, and society, (2) the problems of Islamic Religious Education teachers in fostering morals towards the environment are students who lack obedience to school regulations, poor manners, lack of self-awareness of students, and lack of sensitivity to the environment, (3) The solution to the problems of Islamic Religious Education teachers in fostering student morals is to give directions to students, approach students, teach them students, make habituation to students, create a good environment, and establish communication with various parties.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of mamak in fostering the morals of nephews in Nagari Lilinutan, Lubuk Alung District, Padang Pariaman Regency. A qualitative approach is used in uncovering facts from the phenomenon of this research topic, collecting data using observation, interviews and document studies. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The validity of the research data was tested using a triangulation technique covering 4 aspects, namely interval validity, internal validity, reliability and objectivity. The results of this study concluded that the morals displayed by nephews in the Nagari Lilinutan were classified as obedient, kind, and controlled by their social level. This is the result of the mamak's central role in providing moral guidance for nephews in accordance with Minangkabau customary law. The supporting factors for the role of mamak in this context include; nephew's self-awareness of the importance of having good morals, government support for customary preservation practices, and mutual respect between mamak and nephew. While the inhibiting factors include family economic factors, the times, social conditions, juvenile delinquency, and disagreements with each other.

Abstract

Perguruan Islam Ar-Risalah Kota Padang merupakan sekolah berbasis agama yang berorientasi pada pembinaan akhlak peserta didik. Salah satu bentuk pembinaan akhlak yang dilakukan adalah melalui program mentoring. Tujuan penelitian memberikan gambaran tentang pelaksanaan program mentoring di Madrasah ‘Aliyah Perguruan Islam Ar-Risalah Kota Padang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan metode interaktif dari Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Jadwal program mentoring dilaksanakan setiap hari Kamis di jam pelajaran ketiga dan keempat. 2) Tempat berlangsungnya program mentoring di seluruh komplek Perguruan Islam Ar-Risalah. 3) Materi mentoring yang diajarkan untuk tingkat madrasah ‘aliyah mencakup ke dalam tiga aspek yaitu aqidah, akhlak dan ibadah. 4) Pelaksanaan program mentoring yang dilakukan di setiap kelompok dimulai dengan pembukaan salam oleh moderator, lalu dilanjutkan dengan tilawah al-qur’an, kemudian kultum oleh penanggung jawab yang telah ditentukan, setelah itu baru pemberian materi dari murabbiyah atau pembimbing mentoring, selanjutnya qodoya/qodoya rawa’i (sesi curhat) dan terakhir pengumpulan infaq serta do’a penutup.
