Abstract

This research aimed to know the effect of using real media toward students activities and learning outcomes. The design was pretest-posttest non equivalent group by purposive sampling and X MIA 3 class and X MIA 4 class were choosen as samples.Quantitative data was obtained from the value of pretest, posttest and N-gain were analyzed by using t-test and U-test. The qualitative data of students was obtained from description of the activity and questionnaire that were analyzed descriptevely.The average N-gain of class experiments had medium criteria (52.48). The improvement of C1 and C2 indicator had high criteria (97.26%; 86.43%), while C3, C4, C5, C6 have medium criteria (69.92%; 39.12%; 44.04%; 68.13%). Learning outcomes of student activity had sufficient criteria (65.00), and the most of the students (87,67%) gave a positive response to real media. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of real media has significant influence toward students activities and learning outcomes. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media realia terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Desain penelitian adalah pretes, postes kelompok non ekuivalen dengan purposive sampling sehingga kelas X MIA 3 dan X MIA 4 di ambil sebagai sampel. Data kuantitatif berupa data hasil belajar yang diperoleh darinilai pretes, postes dan N-gain yang dianalisis menggunakan uji-t dan uji U. Data kualitatif berupa deskripsi data aktivitas  belajar, dan angket tanggapan siswa yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Rata-rata N-gain kelas eksperimen berkriteria sedang (52,48). Peningkatan indikator kognitif C1 dan C2 berkriteria tinggi (97,26%;86,43%) sedangkan C3, C4, C5, dan C6 berkriteria sedang (69,92%; 39,12%; 44,04%; 68,13%%). Hasil aktivitas belajar siswa berkriteria cukup (65,00) dan sebagian besar siswa (87,67%) memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap media realia. Dengan demikian, disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media realia berpengaruh signifikan terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa.  Kata kunci : aktivitas belajar, hasil belajar, media realia

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know the influence of PBL model on creative thinking skill in Junior High School 2 Jati Agung on the influence of human population density to environment subject matter. The design of this research was quasi experiment with non equivalent pretest-postest. The samples were VII A and VII B that were chosen by Purposive Sampling. The quantitative data were obtained from the average score of the test analyzed by t-test and U-test. The qualitative data were the students activity data that were obtained from the observation sheet and the students questionnaire responses which were analyzed descriptively. It could be seen from the average of N-gain (52,60) of experiment class was higher and different significantly than that control class (38,45). The results showed that the use of problem based learning could increased studentss creative thinking skill on the influence of human population density to environment subject matter.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model PBL dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa SMP Negeri 2 Jati Agung materi pengaruh kepadatan populasi manusia terhadap lingkungan. Desain penelitian ini adalah pretest-postest non equivalen. Sampel penelitian kelas VII A dan kelas VII B dipilih secara purposive sampling. Data penelitain berupa data kuantitatif diperoleh dari tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif dianalisis dengan uji-t dan uji-U. Data kualitatif berupa aktivitas belajar diperoleh dari observasi dan tanggapan siswa dari angket yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata N-gain kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi sebesar 52,60 berbeda signifikan dengan kelas kontrol yaitu sebesar 38,45. Dengan demikian PBL dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif pada materi pengaruh kepadatan populasi manusia terhadap lingkungan.Kata kunci : aktivitas, kemampuan berpikir kreatif, PBL

Abstract

The research objective was to determine the effectiveness student worksheet based guided inquiry for growing students critical thinking ability. The research method is quasi experimental with one group pretest posttest design. Random sample selection from population class VIII SMPN 22 Bandar Lampung year lesson 2016-2017, so that obtained class VIII E and VIII G as sample. Quantitative data in the form of pretest, posttest, and n-Gain result were analyzed inference using t-tes. Qualitative data in the form of observation result of teacher ability anf student activity in learning analyzed descriptively. The result showed n-Gain critical thinking ability of experiment class students (0.35) higher than control class (0.25). The ability of teachers and student activities in learning is very high. Thus it is concluded that the use of Student worksheet based guided inquiry effectively fosters students critical thingking ability.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui keefektivan penggunaan LKS berbasis inkuiri terbimbing dalam menumbuhkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Metode penelitian adalah eksperimen semu (quasi experimental) dengan rancangan one group pretest posttest design. Pemilihan sampel secara random dari populasi kelas VIII SMPN 22 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2016-2017, sehingga diperoleh kelas VIII E dan VIII G sebagai sampel. Data kuantitatif berupa hasil pretes, postes, dan n-Gain dianalisis secara inferensi menggunakan uji-t. Data kualitatif berupa hasil observasi kemampuan guru dan aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan n-Gain kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas eksperimen (0,35) lebih tinggi dibanding kelas kontrol (0,25). Kemampuan guru dan aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran sangat tinggi. Dengan demikian disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan LKS berbasis inkuiri terbimbing efektif menumbuhkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.Kata kunci : LKS, inkuiri terbimbing, kemampuan berpikir kritis

Abstract

The aims of this research were to figure out the correlation between gender and problem solving skill and the differences between male students' and female students' skill in problem solving. The design of research was correlation descriptive by using cluster random sampling technique, with 33 male students and 34 female students in grade X SMA Negeri 1 Pringsewu as sample of this research. The research data were a quantitative data which was obtained from problem solving skill test result and a qualitative that was result of problem solving description, engagement, and students' response and also the observation of students' activity. The research result showed that there was low correlation between gender and provlem solving skill and male students got higher significantly score (76,10) than female students (60,32). Therefore, it can be concluded that there is difference between male students' and female students' in problem solving.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara gender dengan kemampuan memecahkan masalah dan perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa laki-laki dan perempuan. Desain penelitian adalah deskriptif korelasi dengan teknik pengambilan sampel cluster random sampling, sebanyak 33 orang siswa laki-laki dan 34 orang siswa perempuan kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Pringsewu. Data penelitain berupa data kuantitatif yang diperoleh dari hasil tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan data kualitatif yang diperoleh dari deskripsi kemampuan pemecahan masalah, keterlibatan, dan tanggapan siswa serta observasi aktivitas siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan dengan tingkat korelasi yang rendah antara gender dengan kemampuan memecahkan masalah dan siswa laki-laki mendapat skor lebih tinggi (76,10) secara signifikan daripada siswa perempuan (60,32). Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara kemampuan siswa laki-laki dan perempuan dalam memecahkan masalah.Kata kunci : gender, kemampuan, memecahkan masalah

Abstract

This study aims to describe the level of conformity of fungi material on Biology textbook of high school class X from the aspect of breadth and depth of material. The sample of this study was A book which published by Erlangga and B book which published by Yrama Widya. Data was collected from documentation technique, through content analysis ontextbook. The data of this study were suitability material of fungi intextbookthatwerereviewed from breadth and depth that were analyzed by qualitative descriptive.The result of this research shows that conformity level of fungiin A book from the aspect of breadth and depth of material were categorized "very suitable" with 100% and 94,44%. Meanwhile, in B book from the aspect of breadth and depth of materials were categorized "appropriate" with 77.78% and 79.63%.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat kesesuaian materi Jamur pada buku teks Biologi SMA kelas X dari aspek keluasan dan kedalaman materi. Sampel penelitian ini adalah buku A yang diterbitkan oleh Erlangga dan buku B yang diterbitkan oleh Yrama Widya. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik dokumentasi, melalui analisis isi (konten) pada buku teks. Data penelitian ini berupa kesesuaian materi jamur pada buku teks ditinjau dari aspek keluasan dan kedalaman yang dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesesuaian materi pada buku A dari aspek keluasan dan kedalaman materi sama-sama memperoleh kategori sangat sesuai dengan persentase 100% dan 94,44%. Sementara, pada buku B dari aspek keluasan dan kedalaman materi sama-sama memperoleh kategori sesuai dengan persentase 77,78% dan 79,63%. Dengan demikian, buku teks Biologi SMA kelas X yang diterbitkan oleh Erlangga dan Yrama Widya dapat dijadikan buku pegangan wajib bagi siswa untuk materi pada Jamur.Kata kunci: buku teks, kedalaman materi, keluasan materi, tingkat kesesuaian

Abstract

This research aimed to describe the implementation of curriculum 2013 on science learning in fifth grade in SDN 1 Pengajaran Bandar Lampung academic year 2014/2015 based on standard of process, scientific approach, and integrated thematic. Research samples were teachers who teach in fifth grade selected by purposive sampling. The type of data was qualitative data which is description of learning implementation in classroom by teacher. The results showed that the implementation of curriculum 2013 at the fifth grade learning activities have suitability to standard process with average score is 76.5% and categorized as "high", the average score of suitability to scientific approach is 83.35% and categorized as "high" and the average score of suitability to integrated thematic is 83.35% and categorized as "high". Thus the results of the research showed that implementation of science learning based on curriculum 2013 that implemented by teachers in SDN 1 Pengajaran, Bandar Lampung has high criteria.Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan kurikulum 2013 pada pembelajaran IPA kelas V di SDN 1 Pengajaran, Bandar Lampung tahun ajaran 2014/2015 sesuai dengan standar proses, pendekatan saintifik, dan tematik integratif. Sampel penelitian adalah guru kelas yang mengajar di kelas V yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Jenis data penelitian ini adalah data kualitatif berupa deskripsi pelaksanaan pembelajaran di kelas yang dilakukan oleh guru. Hasil penelitian menujukkan implementasi kurikulum 2013 pada kegiatan pembelajaran kelas V memiliki kesesuaian standar proses dengan presentase skor rata-rata 76,5% berkriteria tinggi, kesesuaian pendekatan saintifik dengan persentase skor rata-rata 83,35% berkriteria tinggi dan kesesuaian pembelajaran tematik terpadu dengan persentase skor rata-rata 83,35% berkriteria tinggi. Dengan demikian hasil penelitian menujukkan implementasi pembelajaran IPA berdasarkan kurikulum 2013 yang dilaksanakan oleh guru-guru kelas V pada SDN 1 Pengajaran, Bandar Lampung memiliki kriteria tinggi.Kata kunci : kurikulum 2013, pembelajaran IPA, pendekatan saintifik, standar proses, tematik terpadu

Abstract

This research was aimed to know the effect of multimedia interactive towards learning achievement and student’s learning activities. This research design was pretest-posttest equivalent group. Samples were VIIIB and VIIIC that was chosen by purposive sampling. The result showed that the multimedia interactive can improve student’s learning achievement proof with gain average was 0.270. Gain average of C2 indicator was 0.032 and C4 indicator was 0.006. Learning activities of student’s in the experimental class for all aspects such as express opinions, ask questions, collaborate, exchanging information, and presentation earned an average 65.52% with medium criteria. Most of student (94.3%) gave positive response towards multimedia interactive. Thus, learning use multimedia interactive is significan influence to improve student’s learning achievement and student learning activities in the characteristics of digestion. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan multimedia interaktif terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar dan aktivitas siswa. Desain penelitian adalah pretes-postes kelompok ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian ini kelas VIIIB dan VIIIC yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan multimedia interaktif meningkatkan hasil belajar dengan rata-rata gain sebesar 0,270. Rata-rata gain pada indikator C2 0,032 dan indikator C4 sebesar 0,006. Aktivitas belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen untuk semua aspek seperti mengemukakan pendapat, mengajukan pertanyaan, bekerjasama, bertukar infromasi, dan presentasi memperoleh rata-rata 65,52% dengan kriteria sedang. Sebagian besar siswa (94,3%) memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap penggunaan multimedia interaktif. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran menggunakan multimedia interaktif berpengaruh signifikan dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar dan aktivitas siswa pada materi pokok sistem pencernaan.Kata kunci : hasil belajar, multimedia interaktif, sistem pencernaan

Abstract

This research was purposed to know the influence of Problem Based Learning (PBL) model to increase students critical thinking skill and students learning activity. The samples were students of VIIA and VIIB SMP Padjajaran Bandar Lampung chosen by Purposive Sampling technique. The research used pretest-posttest non equivalent design. Quantitative data were pretest, posttest, and N-gain averages which were analyzed by using T-Test and U-Test. Qualitative data were from students activity sheet and responses that were analyzed descriptively. The increasing of critical thinking skill with N-gain average (50,54) was significantly different with control class (34,40). Activity of inducting, deducting, and evaluating were in medium criteria, problem identificating was in high criteria, argument giving was in very high criteria. Therefore, PBL improved critical thinking skill and students activity on material of environmental management.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh model Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan aktivitas belajar siswa. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIIA dan VIIB SMP Padjajaran Bandar Lampung, dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Desain penelitian menggunakan pretest-posttest tak ekuivalen. Data kuantitatif berupa rata-rata pretest, posttest dan N-Gain yang dianalisis menggunakan uji-t dan uji U. Data kualitatif diperoleh dari lembar aktivitas belajar dan tanggapan siswa yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siwa kelas eksperimen dengan rata-rata N-gain (50,54) berbeda signifikan dengan kelas kontrol (34,40). Aktivitas melakukan induksi, melakukan deduksi, dan melakukan evaluasi berkriteria sedang, merumuskan masalah berkriteria tinggi, memberi argumen berkriteria sangat tinggi. Dengan demikian, penggunaan model PBL dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan aktivitas belajar siswa pada materi pokok pengelolaan lingkungan. Abstract

Mastery of concepts that are not quite optimal by high school science students of class IX N 2 Metro affected by the lack of proper strategies in the learning process. Strategies that can facilitate student achievement and skill one is mind mapping. Using mind mapping aims to determine students' critical thinking skills. Experimental research design was pretest-posttest form is not equivalent to involve XI IPA1 as the experimental class and control class XI IPA2 as selected by purposive sampling technique. The research data in the form of qualitative data obtained from students 'learning activities are analyzed using an index of students' critical thinking skills and mind mapping products derived from each group discussions and quantitative data obtained from a pretest-posttest were analyzed using t-test. The results showed improvement in the experimental class students' mastery of concepts with an average gain of 64.73 N-higher than the average N-gain the control class is 47.52. The average increase in each indicator of cognitive mastery of concepts by students in the experimental class also higher at 41.27 while the control class is 31.55. Similarly, student learning activities, that the experimental class achieving increased higher activity than the control class. Aspects express opinions / ideas and discuss work on LKS is the highest activity obtained by the students. Based on the achievements that have been disclosed, it can be concluded that the mind mapping is effective in improving students' critical thinking skills.
