Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan minat belajar dan hasil belajar siswa muatan pelajaran IPA melalui penggunaan media powerpoint pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Tegalmade 02. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang diadakan di SD Negeri Tegalmade 02. Subjek penelitian adalah 10 siswa kelas IV, subjek pelaksana tindakan adalah peneliti, obyek penelitian adalah minat belajar dan hasil belajar melalui penggunaan media Powerpoint. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui teknik observasi, angket, dokumentasi dan tes. Teknik analisis adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode alur yaitu pengumpulan data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya sebuah peningkatan minat belajar dan hasil belajar siswa, dapat dilihat dari peningkatan minat belajar siswa kelas IV siklus I katagori tinggi sebanyak 4 siswa persentasenya 40%, siklus II katagori tinggi sebanyak 8 siswa persentasenya 80%. Hasil belajar siswa kelas IV pada muatan pelajaran IPA meningkat, sebelum tindakan hasil belajar siswa mencapai KKM (?70) sebanyak 3 siswa, persentase ketuntasan sebanyak 30%, siklus I sebanyak 6 siswa atau 60%, pada siklus II sebanyak 9 siswa atau 90%. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media powerpoint dapat meningkatkan minat belajar dan hasil belajar muatan pelajaran IPA pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Tegalmade 02 semester II tahun pelajaran 2020/2021.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade students of Joho 03 Mojolaban Elementary School on the material of Indonesian cultural richness through the application of the project-based learning (PjBL) model. This classroom action research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students on the material. Through a learning cycle consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection, the researcher attempts to create active, enjoyable, and meaningful learning for students. Research data were obtained through learning outcome tests and study documentation. The results of the study showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes after the application of the PjBL model. This is indicated by the increase in the average student score in each cycle. In addition, students also showed increased motivation and active involvement in the learning process. The application of the PjBL model has proven effective in improving students' understanding of Indonesian cultural richness as well as developing critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills. Thus, the PjBL model can be used as an alternative learning model that can improve the quality of science learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to increase student activity and learning outcomes through the application of the Numbered Head Together (NHT) cooperative learning model on the speed unit material for fifth grade students at SD Negeri Karangasem IV Surakarta in the 2021/2022 academic year. This research is a classroom action research which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings. Each meeting consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, test, and documentation. The results showed: 1) The percentage of learning activity completeness in cycle I was 53.13%, increased to 81.25% (26 of 32 students) active with a high category in cycle II; 2) The percentage of complete learning outcomes of students after the implementation of the NHT learning model in the first cycle is 71.88% with an average grade of 75.35. In the second cycle, it increased to 81.25% with an average class value of 80.63. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the application of the NHT cooperative learning model could increase the activeness and learning outcomes of students in class V on the speed unit material at SDN Karangasem IV Surakarta.

Abstract

This study aims to 1) describe whether there is a relationship between the educational contribution of parents and social learning outcomes of fourth grade elementary school students; 2) describe whether or not there is a relationship between learning motivation and social studies learning outcomes of fourth grade elementary school students; and 3) describe whether there is a relationship between parents' educational contribution and learning motivation together with social studies learning outcomes of fourth grade elementary school students. A correlational study survey approach was used in this study. The population of this study were fourth grade students of a Public Elementary School in Laweyan District, Surakarta for the 2021/2022 academic year. The Probability Sampling approach was used to collect the sample. Data collection techniques with tests and questionnaires. Based on data analysis, 1) there is a positive and significant relationship between parental guidance and student social studies learning outcomes of 49.1 percent; 2) there is a positive and significant relationship between learning motivation and student social studies learning outcomes of 26.4 percent; and 3) there is a positive and significant relationship between parental guidance and learning motivation together with student social studies learning outcomes.

Abstract

The aim of this study 1) to know the correlation of parental involvement with mathematics academic achievement 2) to know the correlation between learning motivation and mathematics academic achievement  3) to know the correlation of parental involvement and learning motivation with mathematics academic achievement. The study uses a survey method. The probability sampling technique is the technique used in this study. The subjects of this study were the fourth grade students in Laweyan district of 2021/2022. The results of the study showed that first, there was a correlation of parental involvement with mathematics academic achievement which has a Pearson Correlation value of 0.430 indicating that the correlation level is moderate. Second, there was a correlation of learning motivation with mathematics academic achievement which has a Pearson Correlation value of 0.434 indicating that the correlation level is moderate. Third, there was a correlation of parental involvement and learning motivation with mathematics academic achievement which has a Pearson Correlation value of 0.605 indicating that the correlation level is highKata kunci: parental involvement, learning motivation, mathematics achievement, and correlation

Abstract

Abstract. This research aims is to improve the students listening of folklore skill with model Think Pair Share and media audio in 4th grade students of SDN Selomulyo Sleman academic year 2018/2019. This research is a classroom action research conducted three cycles. Each cycle consist of four stage. The research data was collected through interviews, observation, test, and documentation. Data validity are using triangulation of source and triangulation of technique. Data analysis technique used was descriptive of comparative and interactive model. The researcher used five indicator to know the level of students listening of folklore skill. That all instrinsic elements, text comprehension, main problem, text organizaion, and problem solving. The results shows that classical completeness on pre-action is 7,69%, increase on cycle I by 43,21% ,increase on cycle II by 69,23% , and increase again in cycle III by 88,46%. Based on the result, the conclusion is the application of model Think Pair Share and media audio can improve the students listening of folklore skill on 4th grade students of SDN Selomulyo Sleman academic year 2018/2019.Keywords : Think Pair Share, media audio, students listening of folklore skil, elementary school

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study to describe the implementation of the character education at SDN Bansari. The study used a qualitative method through a case study approach. The data was taken from ten informants that consisting of the headmaster, third grade classroom teacher, fifth grade classroom teacher, an Islamic education teacher, student of third and fifth grade, the third and fifth graders parent, the chairman of committee, and school employees that selected from purposive technique. Data were taken in depth interviews to all of the informants. The result of the research showed that there are four priority in SDN Bansari. The four values of the character are that: 1) religious; 2) patriotism; 3) communicative; 4) appreciating accomplishment; and 5) environmental concerns. A number of strategies in character education’s implementation were among others, routine activities, role modelling/exemplary, spontaneous activities, conditioning, and programmable. Character education in school culture in SDN Bansari was done by combination of the strategy and character value.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to improve problem solving the skills of data interpretation through the use of the team assisted individualization type cooperative learning  model in fifth grade students of SD N Kemasan 2 No. 248 Surakarta 2018/2019 school year. Classroom Action Research (CAR) is conducted in 3 cycles, each cycle consisting of 2 meetings with 4 stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were teachers and 5th grade students, amounting to 28 students. This study uses observational techniques, interviews, documentation, and tests. Data analysis using interactive data analysis with steps of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The data validity test technique uses source triangulation and technical triangulation. The results showed that the average score of pre-action class with 14.% classical completeness increased to 43% classical completeness in the 1st cycle,  increased with a classical completeness of 60.71% in cycle II. and increased again with a classical completeness of 89.29% in cycle III. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that through the application of the team assisted individualization type cooperative learning  model can improve the problem solving the skills of data interpretation in class V SD N Kemasan 2 No. 248 Surakarta 2018/2019 school year.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keaktifan belajar IPS melalui strategi pembelajaran Learning Start with a Question pada peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri 1 Karanggayam tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Tiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu perencanaan, pelakasanaan, pengamatan/observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa kelas V SD Negeri 1 karanggayam yang berjumlah 20 peserta didik. Sumber data yang digunakan berasal dari guru dan peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Validitas data yang digunakan adalah triangulasi teknik, triangulasi sumber, dan review informan. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran Learning Start with a Question dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri 1 Karanggayam tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Peningkatan tersebut dapat dibuktikan dengan adanya peningkatan keaktifan belajar peserta didik setiap siklusnya. Pada pratindakan terdapat 5 peserta didik yang masuk dalam kategori baik atau 25%. Pada siklus I terdapat 12 peserta didik yang masuk kedalam kategori baik atau 60% . Pada siklus II terdapat 18 peserta didik atau 90% masuk ke dalam kategori baik. Simpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa melalui penerapan strategi pembelajaran Learning Start with a Question dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar IPS pada peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri 1 Karanggayan tahun ajaran 2016/2017.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui ada tidaknya hubungan gaya belajar dengan keterampilan berpikir kritis; (2) mengetahui apakah ada hubungan antara kebiasaan membaca dan keterampilan berpikir kritis; (3) mengetahui apakah ada hubungan antara gaya belajar dan kebiasaan membaca bersama dengan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Populasi yang dipilih adalah seluruh siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri di Kabupaten Kutowinangun Kebumen tahun pelajaran 2020/2021. Sampel yang digunakan adalah Cluster Random Sampling. Sampel yang digunakan adalah sejumlah 60 siswa dari 3 sekolah dasar. SD yang digunakan adalah SD Negeri Kaliputih, SD Negeri Babadsari, dan SD Negeri Ungaran. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes uraian atau essay variabel kemampuan berpikir kritis dan angket gaya belajar dan kebiasaan membaca. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat hubungan antara gaya belajar dengan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Koefisien korelasi (ry1) adalah 0,49. (2) terdapat hubungan antara kebiasaan membaca dengan keterampilan berpikir kritis diperoleh koefisien korelasi (ry2) sebesar 0,61. (3) terdapat hubungan gaya belajar dan kebiasaan membaca secara bersama-sama dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis untuk mendapatkan koefisien korelasi berganda yaitu (ry1.2) sebesar 0,66.
