Abstract

Indonesia, dengan kekayaan alamnya, memiliki banyak jenis tanaman buah, termasuk jambu kristal yang bermanfaat untuk kesehatan. Jambu kristal tumbuh subur di berbagai wilayah, termasuk Kalimantan Tengah. Deteksi kematangan buah sangat penting untuk memastikan kualitas produk, di mana warna buah menjadi indikator utama. Penelitian ini memanfaatkan pengolahan citra digital untuk mengklasifikasikan kematangan jambu kristal menggunakan model ruang warna HSV (Hue, Saturation, Value). Metode ini memisahkan informasi warna dari kecerahan dan saturasi, yang berguna dalam penilaian visual kematangan buah. Klasifikasi dilakukan dengan metode Naive Bayes, yang efektif untuk data berdimensi tinggi seperti citra digital. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengklasifikasikan kematangan jambu kristal menjadi dua kelas: layak panen dan tidak layak panen, serta mengevaluasi akurasi metode Naive Bayes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model Naive Bayes dengan ruang warna HSV mencapai akurasi sebesar 88,10%. Meskipun hasil ini baik, ada potensi perbaikan lebih lanjut melalui teknik preprocessing yang lebih canggih atau penggunaan fitur tambahan. Penelitian ini diharapkan mempermudah pemilahan jambu kristal, meningkatkan efisiensi dalam pengelolaan panen, serta memberikan manfaat bagi petani dan industri pertanian. Dengan klasifikasi yang lebih akurat, identifikasi kematangan buah menjadi lebih efisien, menghemat tenaga, waktu, dan biaya.   Kata kunci: Kematangan Buah Jambu Kristal, Pengolahan Citra Digital, Ruang Warna HSV, Naive Bayes, Klasifikasi

Abstract

Program pelatihan bahasa Inggris berbasis LSM Moodle ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi anggota POKDARWIS dengan menggunakan platform Moodle. Moodle adalah platform pembelajaran yang mendukung pembelajaran baik secara bauran/blended maupun full online yang interaktif, fleksibel, dan dapat diakses kapan saja. Sebanyak 17 peserta mengikuti pelatihan yang terdiri dari lima tahap: sosialisasi, pelatihan, penerapan teknologi, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Materi meliputi sapaan, perkenalan, deskripsi tempat wisata, etiket budaya, dan menangani keluhan wisatawan. Metode blended learning digunakan dengan kombinasi pembelajaran mandiri melalui LSM Moodle dan sesi praktik langsung. Namun selama implementasi, beberapa kendala yang dihadapi meliputi keterbatasan akses internet di beberapa titik lokasi mitra, kesenjangan keterampilan teknologi peserta, serta adaptasi terhadap metode pembelajaran baru. Dengan menyediakan materi yang dapat diakses secara offline, serta pendampingan yang intensif, hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada kemampuan bahasa Inggris, dengan rata-rata skor post-test mencapai 84%, dibandingkan pre-test sebesar 43%. Selain itu, penguasaan teknologi oleh peserta meningkat, dengan 90% peserta merasa lebih percaya diri menggunakan teknologi dalam pekerjaan mereka. Program ini berhasil memperbaiki kualitas layanan wisata di Desa Bulue, meningkatkan profesionalisme anggota POKDARWIS, serta memberikan dampak ekonomi positif melalui peningkatan kunjungan wisatawan. Dengan demikian, pelatihan ini memberikan kontribusi nyata terhadap pengembangan pariwisata berbasis komunitas di Desa Bulue.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate whether the organizational support provided by BAZNAS and LAZNAS has a positive impact on the success of micro business development programs and poverty alleviation. Population in this study are mustahiq who have received empowerment program from BAZNAS and LAZNAS with the total sample size are 89 mustahiq. Data were collected using questionnaire with Likert scale 1 – 5 and were analyzed using Path Analysis. The results of this study indicate that the organizational support provided by LAZNAS tends to be better when compared BAZNAS. From three kinds of the supporting by BAZNAS, only business assistance support that affect to the successful of mustahiq micro-business development, even though two of them have a negative relationship. Meanwhile, all of supporting from LAZNAS has a positive relationship with successful of mustahiq micro-business development, despite two of them are insignificant. This study also found an important fact that the mustahiq micro-business development program was able to alleviate poverty. The results of this study imply that BAZNAS must evaluate and innovate the mustahiq micro-business development program. Meanwhile LAZNAS must provide more optimum support for capital assistance and mentoring to get a maximum impact.

Abstract

Pengembangan sumber daya manusia (SDM) merupakan faktor kunci dalam meningkatkan efektivitas dan daya saing organisasi. Jurnal ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara teoritis dan praktis proses pengembangan SDM dalam organisasi, dengan menyoroti elemen-elemen penting seperti pelatihan dan pendidikan, pengembangan kompetensi, dukungan budaya organisasi, serta evaluasi kinerja. Melalui metode literature review, ditemukan bahwa pengembangan SDM yang dilakukan secara terencana dan berkelanjutan dapat meningkatkan efektivitas kerja, mendorong inovasi, serta menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang produktif dan adaptif. Selain itu, budaya organisasi yang mendukung pembelajaran dan inovasi juga menjadi faktor krusial dalam keberhasilan pengembangan SDM. Pengembangan SDM tidak hanya menjadi kebutuhan operasional, tetapi juga merupakan investasi jangka panjang bagi keberhasilan dan daya saing organisasi. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan strategi pengembangan SDM yang berkelanjutan guna memastikan keberlangsungan dan pertumbuhan organisasi di era persaingan global

Abstract

This study aims to explore students’ perceptions of using YouTube as a learning tool to enhance their English-speaking skills at SMKN 1 Barru. Employing a qualitative case study design, the research involved ten vocational students selected purposively from the eleventh grade. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and classroom observations, focusing on students’ experiences, challenges, and perceived benefits when using YouTube in English learning. The data were analyzed using a thematic analysis approach, supported by triangulation to ensure validity and credibility. The findings reveal that students perceive YouTube as a compelling, engaging, and accessible platform for improving speaking skills. The use of authentic videos helps learners enrich vocabulary, improve pronunciation, and build speaking confidence through imitation and exposure to native-like models. Moreover, YouTube fosters self-directed learning and motivation by allowing students to control their pace and learning environment. However, several challenges were also noted, such as distraction and limited internet access. The study highlights the pedagogical potential of YouTube in promoting interactive and autonomous learning, particularly in vocational education contexts where communicative competence is essential.

Abstract

The development of technology has enabled language teachers to improve their learning objectives, media and systems. This study aimed to explore the effectiveness of the ELSA Speak Application to enhance EFL students’ pronunciation fluency and students' perspectives towards the use of the ELSA Speak App as mobile-assisted language learning at SMKS Kesehatan Babussalam Boddie, Pangkep. The research involved eight tenth-grade students in one experimental group. It employed pretests, a posttest, and a questionnaire for data collection. Both descriptive and inferential statistics methods were used to analyze the data. The analysis using Descriptive Statistics and the Paired Samples t-test revealed a significant improvement in students' pronunciation proficiency after the treatment. The mean score difference of -36.25 indicated a substantial increase in post-treatment scores, with a p-value of 0.000 confirming the results were statistically significant. The confidence interval of -39.96 to -32.54 further supports the effectiveness of the intervention. The study provided several recommendations for both teachers and learners to integrate mobile applications in the language classroom, especially ELSA Speak to improve English speaking skills in terms of pronunciation in the EFL context.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of animated videos in improving students’ English listening comprehension at Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Muhammadiyah Padaelo. The research was conducted using a quantitative pre-experimental design involving 14 second-grade students during the 2024/2025 academic year. Data were collected through pre-test and post-test listening assessments and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The findings revealed a substantial increase in students’ average score—from 49.35% on the pre-test to 85% on the post-test—indicating significant improvement in listening comprehension after the use of animated videos. The results suggest that animated videos provide dual cognitive and affective benefits: they enhance understanding through visual and auditory integration and increase motivation by creating engaging, contextual learning experiences. These findings are consistent with Mayer’s Multimedia Learning Theory and Krashen’s Affective Filter Hypothesis, which highlight how well-designed multimedia can support both comprehension and confidence. The study concludes that animated videos are an effective supplementary medium for improving English listening skills among EFL learners.

Abstract

Research Originality: The research looks at the relationship and impact of welfare indicators on the implementation of democracy in Indonesia. Previous research concentrated on the impact of democracy implementation.Research Objectives:  This study aims to examine the role of public welfare variables in improving the implementation of democracy in Indonesia.Research Methods:  The study used panel data with a multiple regression approach from 34 provinces from 2009 to 2023 with the Fix Effect Model (FEM) category.Empirical Results: The research findings show that the public welfare variable has a significant effect on the democracy index in Indonesia both partially and simultaneously, and only the human development index and the democracy index are linearly related. It was found that the human development index variable is an intermediary variable influencing the relationship between income inequality and the democracy index.Implications:  To increase people's understanding of democracy, the government can lower the poverty depth index because there is no intermediate variable between the two variables.JEL Classification: C33, D72, Z13, Z18

Abstract

This study, titled "Cross-Cultural Pragmatics: An Investigation into Speech Act Realization on the Ship," aims to explore the influence of cultural backgrounds on the realization of speech acts among crew members in the Indonesian maritime industry. Specifically, it identifies the patterns and challenges associated with cross-cultural pragmatics on ships. Utilizing a descriptive qualitative design, the research was conducted on KM Lambelu, employing field notes, interviews, and observations as data collection instruments. The findings reveal that cultural backgrounds significantly influence how speech acts are realized by crew members, particularly regarding politeness, directness, and respect for hierarchy. The study highlights that while cultural diversity enriches interactions among crew members, it can also create communication barriers if not properly managed. The research further emphasizes that politeness strategies are deeply rooted in cultural norms, with a strong emphasis on seniority in hierarchical maritime settings.

Abstract

In the digital age emerging currencies using digital technology called currency crypto money. Many people use cryptocurrencies to invest. This triggered the sentiment in society on social media twitter, there are positive opinions and there are negative opinions. The purpose of this study is to determine the public sentiment regarding the review of crypto currency and then classify it into two sentiments, namely positive and negative sentiments. The classifier method used is Naïve Bayes, Naïve Bayes is a good classifier method but has shortcomings in the selection of features therefore Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) is applied as a feature selection in order to improve the accuracy value. After conducted experiments using Naïve Bayes method, obtain accuracy value of 66% with AUC 0.482 and after Applied Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) as feature selection in Naïve Bayes obtain accuracy value of 85% with AUC 0.716 has increased accuracy .
