Abstract

The Submerged Light in the Water is one of the catching tools for fishermen with step-step charts. Research with trials of differences in the color of Lacuda's light was carried out in the waters of Tanjung Pura Village with the aim of getting better results. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the color of the lights in the water on the catch on the live chart. The research was conducted in January 2019 in the waters of Tanjung Pura, Central Bangka Regency. The method used in this research is the fishing trial or experimental method of fishing and the statistical method used in this experiment is a randomized block design (RBD). The color of light lacuda that most influences the catch of the fixed chart is white lacuda with a catch of 184.63 kg, while treatment of yellow lacuda is 129.4 kg, treatment of blue lacuda is 109.25 kg, and treatment of lacuda with green color gets the lowest yields with a catch of 79.7 Kg.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the percentage of coral reef cover in Perlang waters and determines the types of health problems on coral reefs in Perlang waters. This study conducts in November 2021 in the water of Perlang Village through the method of collecting data on coral reef cover using the Underwater Photo Transect (UPT) with 4 data collection stations. The results show that the percentage of live coral reef cover from the 4 observation stations ranged from 40.27%-69.13%. The most affected lifeforms are Coral Massive with 71 colonies followed by Acropora Branching with 43 colonies, Acropora Tabulate with 14 colonies, Coral Branching with 2 colonies, Coral Folliose with 34 colonies, and Coral Submassive with 29 colonies. There are 5 types of health problems, consisting of Sediment Damage, Growth anomalies, Bleaching, Pigmentation Response and Crown of Thorns Starfish. The highest prevalence is sediment damage 2.46% and the lowest is Crown of Thorns Starfish 0.07%. The species found in the study site has values of 0.0225 colonies/ and 0.0010 colonies/. Sediment damage is the most common coral health disorder found in all study stations. There is a relationship between live coral cover and the prevalence of coral reef health problems.

Abstract

The potential of estuary waters in mangrove forests in Belinyu, Bangka Regency is quite high. The high potential of these waters is utilized by fish farmers to cultivate brackish water fish. The Perepat Permai fish farmer group in Air Jukung Village, Belinyu Subdistrict, Bangka Regency is a fish farmer who is pioneering the cultivation of ketang-ketang fish. Ketang-ketang fish is characterized by softer, tastier meat and no smell of mud. However, fish farming is still constrained by the problem of low optimization in utilizing production capacity which has an impact on the low quantity and quality of yields. The purpose of this activity is to provide science and technology applications in the form of systems and technology to produce ketang-ketang fish that has a high selling price by optimizing the production capacity of fish farmers. This activity was carried out in fish farming ponds owned by fish farmers in Air Jukung Village, Belinyu District, Bangka Regency. The method of this activity is to carry out cultivation activities by inserting the application of stocking technology and artificial feeding systems in the Belinyu ketang-ketang fish cultivation process. The results of this activity are ketang-ketang fish reared from juvenile size with a length of 7-10 cm growing optimally in ponds. Ponds where ketang-ketang fish are kept in environmental conditions that are suitable for the survival and growth of ketang-ketang fish. The number of ketang-ketang fish meets the fish production capacity. Ketang-ketang fish can be harvested partially within 4-5 months with a length of 20-24 cm and a weight of 200-300 grams per head which is the size of consumption according to market demand.

Abstract

Spirulina merupakan mikroalga hijau kebiruan yang mengandung klorofil-a. Kandungan klorofil-a Spirulina sangat dipengaruhi oleh faktor lingkungan pada media kultur, salah satunya salinitas. Salinitas yang optimal dapat meningkatkan kadar pigmen klorofil-a, namun peningkatan kadar salinitas juga memberikan pengaruh negatif pada pertumbuhan Spirulina, karena dapat menghambat proses fotosintesis, respirasi dan penyerapan nutrisi. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis peningkatan salinitas terhadap penyerapan nutrisi media kultur yang dilihat dari kepadatan sel dan konsentrasi klorofil-a. Penelitian dilakukan secara eksperimental laboratoris. Kadar salinitas yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu 0, 10, 15, 20, 25, dan 30 ppt. Media kultur dimodifikasi dengan penambahan nutrisi walne dan air limbah budidaya ikan dengan perbandingan 1:1, dengan waktu kultur selama 20 hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kepadatan sel tertinggi terdapat pada salinitas 30 ppt sebesar 0,635±0,091 dan terendah pada salinitas 0 ppt sebesar 0,293±0,037. Kepadatan sel tertinggi pada semua salinitas rata-rata terjadi pada hari ke-8 hingga ke-10. Konsentrasi klorofil-a tertinggi pada salinitas 10 ppt sebesar 107,153 mg/L dan terendah pada salinitas 25 ppt sebesar 19,684 mg/L. Pada kadar salinitas yang lebih tinggi menghasilkan konsentrasi klorofil-a yang lebih rendah. Berdasarkan penelitian disimpulkan bahwa peningkatan salinitas memberi pengaruh terhadap kepadatan populasi, namun tidak pada konsentrasi klorofil-a Spirulina.

Abstract

Kajian tentang lokasi wisata bahari di Kawasan Pulau Semujur merupakan permasalahan yang perlu dikaji guna meningkatkan kepuasan dan keselamatan masyarakat yang melakukan kegiatan wisata. Pulau Semujur termasuk kawasan konservasi perairan yang dilindungi dan dikelola untuk mewujudkan pengelolaan sumber daya ikan dan lingkungan secara berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis indeks kesesuaian wisata rekreasi pantai dan menganalisis indeks kesesuaian wisata snorkeling di Pulau Semujur serta diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai referensi bagi pemangku kepentingan yang terlibat dalam pengembangan wisata di Pulau Semujur Kabupaten Bangka Tengah. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan pada bulan Maret 2021 bertempat di Pantai Semujur Kabupaten Bangka Tengah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yakni Purposive Sampling. Analisis data didasarkan pada matriks indeks kesesuaian wisata (IKW). Hasil studi kesesuaian wisata rekreasi pantai dan wisata snorkeling di Pulau Semujur menunjukan nilai indeks kesesuaian wisata rekreasi pantai di masing-masing stasiun pengamatan mendapatkan nilai sebesar 83% (sangat sesuai). Nilai indeks kesesuaian wisata snorkeling di masing-masing stasiun pengamatan mendapatkan nilai sebesar 57,75% (sesuai).

Abstract

Plankton adalah organisme hidup kecil yang mengapung di kolom air dan merupakan komponen ekosistem perairan yang sangat penting. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui parameter fisika-kimia perairan, komposisi plankton dan korelasi antara keanekaragaman plankton dengan parameter fisika-kimia perairan dengan menggunakan analisis statistik. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Juni 2022 di estuari Sungai Selan, Kabupaten Bangka Tengah. Penelitian dilakukan pada pagi hari. Pengambilan data plankton dilakukan dengan metode tarikan vertikal menggunakan jaring plankton. Sampel plankton yang dihasilkan diidentifikasi di bawah mikroskop dengan tiga ulangan untuk setiap sampel di setiap titik pengamatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 24 jenis plankton yang ditemukan di estuary Sungai Selan. Kelimpahan plankton tertinggi terdapat pada titik 4 dengan 701,38 ind/L dan terendah pada titik 1 dengan 197,91 ind/L. Indeks keanekaragaman plankton tertinggi pada titik 5 sebesar 2.202 dan terendah pada titik 3 sebesar 1.549. Indeks keseragaman tertinggi pada titik 5 sebesar 0,858 dan terendah pada titik 4 sebesar 0,687. Dominasi tertinggi pada poin 3 sebesar 0,269 dan terendah pada titik 5 sebesar 0,169. Hubungan antara parameter fisika-kimia dan keanekaragaman plankton menunjukkan bahwa kecepatan aliran arus  berpengaruh paling signifikan terhadap keanekaragaman plankton di estuari Sungai Selan.   Plankton are tiny living organisms that float in the water column and are an important component of aquatic ecosystems. This study aims to determine the physico-chemical parameters of the waters, plankton composition, and the correlation between the diversity of plankton and the physico-chemical parameters of the waters using statistical analysis. This research was conducted in June 2022 at the Selan River estuary in Central Bangka Regency. The research was conducted in the morning. Plankton data collection was carried out using the vertical pull method using a plankton net. The resulting plankton samples were identified under a microscope with three replicates for each sample at each observation point. The results showed that 24 types of plankton were found in the Selan River estuary. The highest plankton abundance was at point 4 with 701.38 ind/L, and the lowest was at point 1 with 197.91 ind/L. The highest plankton diversity index was at point 5 of 2,202, and the lowest was at point 3 of 1,549. The highest uniformity index is at point 5 of 0.858, and the lowest is at point 4 of 0.687. The highest dominance is at point 3 of 0.269, and the lowest is at point 5 of 0.169. The relationship between physico-chemical parameters and plankton diversity shows that current velocity significantly affects plankton diversity in the Selan River estuary.

Abstract

Kayu Arang Village has high potential biological resources, such as Satang shrimp and Tirus Fish in the Kayu Arang river area. The wealth of biological resources in the Kayu Arang River is also supported by the existence of mangrove ecosystems that have high density and nature. The mangrove ecosystem really needs to be developed to improve the condition of Arang wood village. The development of mangrove ecosystems in Kayu Arang must first be calculated Tourism Suitability Index, so that the potential of mangroves for ecotourism can be known. This is because mangrove ecosystems have enormous potential and benefits, and contribute to increasing community income. Some stages of this research study include: sausagealization of mangrove ecotourism and providing understanding of mangrove potential, collecting mangrove data (density, mangrove species, growth), endemic biota both in sediments (macrobenthos), rivers (fish, shrimp, crabs) and aboreal (monkeys, birds). The next stage is to see the level of suitability of the mangrove area of Kayu Arang Village to become ecotourism. Therefore, this research study aims to determine the potential of mangrove ecosystems to be used as mangrove ecotourism areas in Kayu Arang Village, West Bangka. The results of the mangrove ecosystem suitability analysis show that the mangrove area in Kayu Arang Village can be used as an ecotourism area. Abstract

The industrial revolution 4.0 has begun to develop in aquaculture activities by utilizing the internet of things (IoT) in the last decade. The increase in intensive shrimp farming on Bangka Island in recent years is still conventional witfar from the use of digital and internet-based technology, especially vaname shrimp farming, including the Bio Ebi Micro Pokdakan in Air Mawar Village. This activity aims to design a water quality monitoring system that can be used in vaname shrimp aquaculture ponds. The main components in designing a remote-based pond water quality monitoring system consist of sensors, processing, data transmission, data storage and display. The activity has started with the design of a water quality monitoring tool in October - November 2022 in the Instrumentation and Acoustics Section of the Marine Science Laboratory at Bangka Belitung University which is then used by partners to monitor water quality conditions in shrimp ponds at Pokdakan Mikro Bio Ebi partners

Abstract

SMKN 1 Tukak is the vocational school in the field of fisheries in South Bangka Regency. Some training is really needed to increase the competency of SMK students, so that training is carried out that can improve students' abilities. One of the trainings is mapping using drones, because spatial data is needed in the fields of fisheries, agriculture, mining. The objectives of the activity: 1) provide students with an understanding of Drone Mapping knowledge, 2) increase the competency of SMK students related to mapping. Stages of activity: 1) training on spatial data collection using drones, 2) training on spatial data processing from drones, 3) training on introductory mapping, and 4) socialization of drone map results. The training participants were made into 3 groups according to class XI majors, namely: Brackish Water and Marine Agribusiness (APAPL), Fishing Vessel Nautics (NKPI), and Fishery Products Processing Agribusiness (APHPL). Each group was accompanied by a trainer from Bangka Belitung University. The process of learning to take aerial photos using drones is taught directly, starting from installation, drone flight and downloading aerial photos. Installed apps include DJI Go, Control DJI and Pix4D. The application is used for taking aerial photos using drones. Each group from the PBAPL, APHP, NKPI majors carried out drone flights and took aerial photos according to the trainer's instructions. The results of the aerial photos taken by each group were used to make aerial photo maps and contour maps. The enthusiasm of the students of SMKN 1 Tukak in PMTJ 2023 activities was very high. This is indicated by the active participation of the participants in making flight missions and flying drones as well as processing spatial data.

Abstract

Perairan Pantai Peltim terletak pada Kecamatan Mentok, Kabupaten Bangka Barat merupakan salah satu wilayah intertidal yang memiliki potensi dalam meningkatkan sektor perekonomian bagi masyarakat sekitar. Konversi lahan di wilayah perairan Pantai Peltim menjadi kawasan industri serta pertambangan akan sangat mempengaruhi keanekaragaman makrozoobentos pada wilayah tersebut. Spesies yang ditemukan di Perairan Pantai Peltim terdapat 7 spesies yakni Tellina spengleri, Donax faba, Tellina timorensis, Hemifusus ternatarus, Meretrix meretrix, Gari elongata, dan Pugilina cochlidium. Indeks keanekaragaman di Perairan Pantai Peltim berkisar 0,69-1,01. Nilai ini menunjukkan bahwa perairan tersebut memiliki keanekaragaman makrozoobentos yang rendah. Indeks keseragaman memiliki nilai 0,67-1,00 menandakan perairan tersebut stabil. Serta indeks dominansi berkisar 0,39-0,59 yang menunjukkan tidak adanya dominansi jenis makroozoobentos di Perairan Pantai Peltim. Hasil analisis regresi linier komponen utama menunjukkan bahwa nilai hubungan antara parameter lingkungan terhadap indeks keanekaragaman makrozoobentos menunjukkan korelasi positif antara salinitas, liat dan Berat Organik Total   (BOT).
