Abstract

In Indonesia, religious moderation is now a topic of serious discussion. The religion most commonly associated with religious moderation in this country is Islam, which is a major religion. Long before the Ministry of Religion formalized the idea of religious moderation, moderate Islam and religious moderation as a topic for scientific inquiry were actually studied. In the context of schools, the way that religious moderation is implemented in schools varies depending on the organizational structure and management style of the educational institution. Senior high schools under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Religion typically have a more visible implementation of their policies in all areas, including extracurricular activities, various subjects, the religious curriculum, and various narratives expressed by institutional leaders. This article addresses how much Islamic moderation discourse has permeated Indonesian Islamic education, particularly in senior high schools.

Abstract

This research aims to conduct an in-depth review of Dawam Rahardjo's thoughts, focusing on the concept of value transactions in Islamic education from an economic perspective, through critical analysis of his works. The research method used is a qualitative study that focuses on an in-depth analysis of Dawam Rahardjo's thoughts on value transactions in Islamic education, The qualitative approach allows a detailed and contextual investigation into the understanding of these values. The result of the study is to highlight the importance of practice in strengthening students' understanding of moral values. In the value transaction stage, Islamic economic values are not only useful in the economic context, but also become effective guidelines in shaping the moral character of individuals in accordance with Islamic principles. This research provides a more holistic view of how the value transaction process in education becomes an important foundation for the formation of moral, responsible and ethical individuals in everyday life.

Abstract

To create a prosperous and clean Indonesia, the state must be responsible for providing simple access to public information. In supporting the provision of public information openness, East Kalimantan plays an active role, as the East Information Commission institution carries out outreach and educational activities related to public information openness. One of these activities is a public discussion about the openness of public information in East Kalimantan, in collaboration with UIN Sultan Aji Muhammad Idris Samarinda (UINSI Samarinda). We hope that this activity will heighten public awareness and foster active participation in the disclosure of public information. This will certainly increase public trust in the government, and the community can contribute to policy and decision-making, especially in East Kalimantan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan Pendekatan Multikultural yang diimplementasikan di Perguruan Muhammadiyah. Masalah yang harus dijawab dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana implementasi Pendekatan Multikultural di Perguruan Muhammadiyah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan studi tinjauan literatur. Data diperoleh melalui pencarian di Google Scholar dan sumber data berasal dari beberapa artikel dari jurnal-jurnal nasional dan internasional. Berdasarkan artikel-artikel di Google Scholar yang terkait dengan pendidikan Islam multikultural dari perspektif Muhammadiyah, penulis meninjau 5 artikel dengan menggunakan teknik pemilihan acak. Kemudian penulis melakukan analisis konten untuk mendapatkan isi artikel-artikel yang terkait dengan pendidikan Islam multikultural dari perspektif Muhammadiyah. Hasil penelitian ini adalah secara keseluruhan, perguruan Muhammadiyah terlihat berusaha keras untuk menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang inklusif, menghormati perbedaan, dan mencegah radikalisme dengan pendekatan multikultural. Namun, tantangan terus ada dalam bentuk pemahaman yang berbeda-beda dan ketidaksetujuan terhadap konsep multikulturalisme.

Abstract

This research examines psychology as an approach to Islamic studies, especially Islamic education. In fact, psychology and Islamic education have the same concepts and goals in looking at various problems in life, so that Islamic studies require psychological approaches, so that they can be more focused and clearer. This research is a library research, namely research sourced from library materials using a qualitative approach.Therefore, the method used in this research is an exploration of a number of data, both primary data and secondary data with the following concrete steps: reading and examining in depth primary data such as books which are the result of research, theses or dissertations related to psychology and Islamic education. Therefore, psychology as an approach can produce findings that are appropriate to the context.In Islamic studies, especially Islamic education, it can be access to other sciences to be used as a measuring tool in looking at various problems in society. This is what then led to the mixing of discussion and research in psychology and Islamic education, because by combining these two disciplines, Islamic educational psychology was born.

Abstract

Artikel ini melakukan analisis framing terhadap dua media online terkemuka di Indonesia, yaitu Tempo dan CNN, terkait pemberitaan dugaan Pondok Pesantren Al Zaytun menganut aliran sesat. Framing adalah proses pemilihan dan penekanan atas aspek-aspek tertentu dalam sebuah berita, yang dapat mempengaruhi persepsi dan pemahaman publik terhadap suatu isu. Melalui analisis framing, artikel ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana kedua media tersebut membingkai berita tersebut, termasuk pemilihan kata, narasi, dan pemilihan sumber berita yang mempengaruhi pembentukan opini publik dan kaitannya dengan komunikasi islam di era digital 4,0

Abstract

The Society 5.0 era brings significant changes to various aspects of life, including education. Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers play a vital role in shaping students' character, ensuring they can control technology's negative influences and use it positively. This study aims to identify the challenges faced by PAI teachers in the Society 5.0 era and evaluate the strengthening of their competencies through the PAI Subject Teachers' Deliberation (MGMP) in Kutai Kartanegara, focusing on artificial intelligence (AI) integration. A qualitative case study approach was employed, with goal-setting theory guiding the intervention in a teacher training program. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with PAI teachers, participatory observation, and analysis of teaching materials produced during the training. The intervention involved AI-based applications like Google Docs' AI writing assistant for lesson planning and AI-driven tools for evaluating student performance. Thematic analysis was used to identify key patterns and themes regarding the challenges and opportunities in strengthening teacher competencies. The results showed that AI training improved the effectiveness and efficiency of teaching materials, marked by more interactive content, shorter preparation times, and better alignment with student needs. Additionally, there was a significant increase in student engagement during lessons, highlighting the success of AI technology in enhancing the learning process.

Abstract

Komunikasi berperan penting dalam aspek kehidupan, baik dalam menciptakan interaksi sosial juga interaksi interpersonal. Salah satu bentuk interaksi sosial adalah berdakwah. Sebagaimana Islam mengharuskan pengikutnya untuk menyebarkan (mendakwahkan) ajaran Islam. Dalam menyampaikan pesan-pesan dakwah tentunya diperlukan komunikasi yang baik agar pesan dakwah yang ingin disampaikan dapat diterima dengan baik pula oleh khalyak. Dalam analisis penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kepustakaan (library research) yang hasilnya dijabarkan dalam bentuk deskriptif menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan, didapatkan beberapa strategi yang dapat digunakan khususnya, tiga strategi sentimen, nalar, dan akal sehat. Abstract

Technological advancement and modernity have a great positive impact for nowadays human life in one hand. But, it might bring some negative dimensions in the other hand. This paper aims at exploring some consequences of modernity, by its technological advancement, to a contemporary human religiosity. Using theological approach and descriptive model of writing scientific papers, this article traces humans’ trend religious behavior by describing a condition of modernization and its relation to some religious and cultural practices. This article finds that people in modern society more have great satisfaction with the use of technological advancement then the use of religious norms. This condicion often makes negative impact of modernization like dehumanization and moral degradation. The findings reveal that religion should becomes primary control of democratization from its normative essence. Spiritual dimension and ethics which are written in Islam and other religions definitely might give optimism in facing disruptive modernization era.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the relationship between Islam and local culture, particularly the Baayun Maulid tradition in Banua Halat Village, Tapin Utara District, Tapin Rantau Regency and the Kerobok Maulid Kutai tradition in Tenggarong, Kutai Kartanegara Regency. It is qualitative research that employs a phenomenological approach. Tenggarong Community and Banua Halat Village Community were the study participants. This study's findings show that (1) The Kerobok Mawlid tradition is carried out in the month of Mawlid, which is intended to commemorate the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad SAW by reciting the barzanji. The Kerobok Mawlid tradition is carried out as a traditional ceremony of the Kutai Kingdom, which is marked by the presence of the sultanate's soldiers, who carry stretchers containing various kinds of traditional cakes, dozens of baskets of sinto or potpourri, and Astagona, walking around the palace. Furthermore, the Baayun Maulid tradition in Tapin Rantau Regency is also carried out in the month of Maulid to commemorate the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. This tradition is combined with the Maayun Anak tradition, the Banjar community custom of swinging children. (2) The relationship between Islam and the culture of Kerobok Maulid and Baayun Maulid is part of the manifestation of the existence of Islam in a culture. The reading of Sholawat and the Maulid as a form of Islamic identity in the Kutai and Banjar communities combined with customs shows the relationship between Islam and culture, which are inherently one unit and have harmony within them.
