Abstract

Background: Basic sanitation plays a vital role in enhancing human health by ensuring a clean environment, with the availability of proper latrines being essential for the safe disposal of human waste and the prevention of disease transmission. Objective: This study aimed to identify the factors influencing the availability of basic sanitation facilities, particularly family latrines, in Telaga Nipa, located in West Seram Regency. Method: A quantitative research design with a cross-sectional approach was applied, involving 100 households, using univariate and bivariate analyses including the chi-square test. Results: The findings showed that both community knowledge and attitudes were significantly associated with the availability of latrines (P value = 0.038 for both), indicating a strong correlation between public understanding and the presence of sanitation facilities. Conclusion: It is essential to improve community awareness and attitudes regarding sanitation to enhance access to proper, health-compliant latrines and support better public health outcomes. Novelty: This study contributes novel empirical data from an underreported and remote region in Eastern Indonesia, highlighting behavioral determinants as critical factors in household sanitation infrastructure.

Abstract

Social reconstruction theory in the world of education emphasizes that education must act as a tool for social transformation that encourages students to think critically, understand social problems, and contribute to creating a more just and inclusive society. This article aims to explore more deeply the concept of social reconstruction theory in its urgency in the field of education management. This research uses a normative approach. The results of the study show that social reconstruction and educational management are interrelated in an effort to create an education system that is responsive to social change, where educational management functions as a tool for implementing strategies that support social transformation through inclusive and relevant learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh keputusan pendanaan terhadap nilai perusahaan perusahaan Pada PT. Indofood Sukses Makmur, Tbk yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2017-2021. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif yang berupa laporan keuangan tahunan dari PT.Indofood Sukses Makmur, Tbk yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2017-2021. Hasil pengujian dengan SPSS menunjukan bahwa variabel X Keputusan Pendanaan (DER) terhadap variabel Y Nilai Perusahaan (PBV) diperoleh t hitung = 1,434 dengan tingkat signifikan 0,225, dimana tingkat signifikannya lebih tinggi dari 0,05. Hal ini berarti variabel X (DER) tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel Y (PBV). Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara DER terhadap PBV pada Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk. Dengan demikian dapat dikemukakan bahwa hipotesis dalam penelitian ini ditolak.
