Abstract

Penggarapan madihin sebagai media dakwah Islam, terutama bersifat lokal masih minim sekali. Oleh karena itu yang mendalam dan modifikasi terhadap pemanfaatn madihin sebagai media rakyat (folk media) dibidang dakwah urgent sebagaimana halnya ludruk dari Jawa Timur. Dengan demikian, madihin tidak hanya sebagai penyampai pesan-pesan keagamaan sekaligus berfungsi sebagai media hiburan dan pendidikan.

Abstract

Batatamba is a local wisdom that has unique characteristics that are passed from generation to generation. The focus of this research is batatambah ritual against magical diseases that are believed by Banjarese people to be caused by the spirits from the unseen world. The findings of this study indicate that there has been a dialectics between Islam and culture in the tradition of batatamba. Their acculturation is beneficial and there was no tension or harm in the process. Therefore, there is a harmony between the two; Islam gives color or spirit to the culture, while culture provides a wealth of understanding for the religion as can be observed from Banjarese people life

Abstract

This study aims to describe the budget plan of income and expenditure of schools, the allocation of educational financing, the supervision of education financing, and the reporting of education financing originating from parents in MTs Darul Ulum Palangkaraya. This research uses qualitative descriptive research method, conducted in MTs Darul Ulum Palangka Raya. Data collection techniques through observation, interview and documentation. The results of this study reveal that the Madrasah Budget Plan  in MTs Darul Ulum Palangkaraya has been made through prior planning by the madrasah before meeting with foundations, school committees and parents, although the draft budget is made in the form of The simplest. In the case of the use of parents' funds, the learners are in accordance with the needs and RAPBM made, in the sense that the accounting has been made accounting. Furthermore, supervision of financial management is done directly by the principal.

Abstract

This research examines the acculturation and transformation of traditional values of Banjarese Baayun Maulud . It used religious anthropology approach as an effort to understand the deepest meaning of the research object. The result shows that this tradition was historically started from swinging child ceremony of Dayakese Tribe in Kalimantan, in order to give blessing, give name, pray for safety, and to thank for the child birth. A long with the incoming and development of Islam in this region, the ceremony which was inherited by the ancestors experienced changes. The Islamic preachers have changed and acculturated this ceremony so it is full of Islamic values. The ceremony once called swinging child ceremony, then after the acculturation it became Baayun Maulud. The venue is centralized at the mosque and is combined with the celebration of Muhammad’s birthday. The children are swung with qur’an recitation, rhyme quatrains of maulud, and prayers. The local wisdoms and the religious thoughts has been unified in harmony in the tradition, which becomes the sign of gratitude expressions  for the child birth, as well as for celebrating and honoring the birth of the Greatest Prophet Muhammad. Penelitian ini mengkaji akulturasi dan transformasi nilai dalam tradisi Baayun Maulid masyarakat Banjar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan antropologis keagamaan sebagai upaya memahami makna mendalam dari objek penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sejarah munculnya tradisi ini bermula dari upacara maayun anak masyarakat Dayak Kalimantan untuk memberikan keberkahan, memberi nama, menyampaikan doa keselamatan, dan tanda syukur atas kelahiran anak. Seiring dengan masuk dan berkembangnya Islam di kawasan ini, upacara yang diwariskan oleh nenek moyang ini pun mengalami perubahan. Ulama penyebar Islam telah merubah dan mengakulturasi upacara ini menjadi sarat dengan nilai-nilai keislaman. Apabila semula upacara ini dinamakan Baayun Anak, maka sesudah diakulturasi berubah menjadi Baayun Maulid. Tempat pelaksanaan dipusatkan di masjid dan disandingkan dengan peringatan maulid Nabi. Anak diayun dan dibacakan al Quran, syairsyair maulid, serta doa. Tradisi lokal dan ajaran agama telah bersatu secara harmonis dalam kegiatan Baayun Maulid, yang menjadi penanda kesyukuran atas kelahiran anak sekaligus peringatan dan penghormatan atas kelahiran Nabi Muhammad.

Abstract

This study reviews the local wisdom and harmony in the tradition Maarak Book of Bukhari (MKB) in Banjar community. This study uses religious anthropological approaches to explore various ideas and understanding of the research object. The results showed that this tradition is motivated by environmental condition of Banjar which is prone to fire, so as part of a tradition of starting reinforcements. It is carried out when people have seen some signs or warnings and dealt with specific situations. This tradition is done at night during dry season when fires frequently happened, with the aim of counteracting the danger of fire and for safety. In this tradition, the procession made certain that is believed to be a sort of intermediary or the cause so that it prevents from the fire. Starting with the implementation of the sunnat prayers, then reading the sura Yasin, paraded the holy book around the village, recite the lines of Burdah, reading segue Kamilah, and closed with praying for salvation. The description of religious valuesand propaganda contained in this tradition is strong evidence of the ability of the scholars earlier to acculturate the understanding and behavior of Banjar society before the arrival of Islam. MKB is one of the traditions that reflect the meeting between Islam and local culture.Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang kearifan lokal dan harmoni yang terdeskripsi dalam tradisi Maarak Kitab Bukhari pada masyarakat Banjar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan antropologis keagamaan untuk menggali berbagai pemikiran dan pemahaman masyarakat terhadap objek penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tradisi Maarak Kitab Bukhari dilatarbelakangi oleh kondisi lingkungan masyarakat Banjar yang rawan terjadi kebakaran, sehingga sebagai bagian dari tradisi tolak bala, MKB dilaksanakan ketika masyarakat telah melihat sejumlah tanda (mendapat peringatan) dan berhadapan dan situasi tertentu. Tradisi ini dilakukan pada malam hari, ketika musim kemarau, seringnya terjadi kebakaran dengan tujuan menangkal bahaya kebakaran dan memohon keselematan. Dalam tradisi ini, dilakukan prosesi tertentu yang diyakini bisa menjadi semacam perantara (wasilah) atau berkat (penyebab), sehingga kebakaran tidak terjadi. Dimulai dengan pelaksanaan shalat sunnat hajat, diteruskan dengan membaca surah Yaasin, mengarak keliling kampung kitab Shahih Bukhari, melantunkan syair-syair Burdah, membaca Shalawat Kamilah, dan ditutup dengan pembacaan doa tolak bala serta doa keselamatan. Deskripsi nilai keagamaan dan dakwah yang terkandung dalam tradisi Maarak Kitab Bukhari merupakan bukti kuat kemampuan para ulama terdahulu dalam mengakulturasi paham dan prilaku masyarakat Banjar sebelum kedatangan Islam. Sehingga, apabila semula simbol, benda, dan nilai-nilai dalam tradisi tolak bala sarat dengan keyakinan terdahulu, begitu Islam masuk dan berkembang, tradisi tersebut telah bersandarkan dan sarat dengan nilai-nilai keIslaman dan bertransformasi menjadi tradisi Maarak Kitab Bukhari. Jelas apabila Maarak Kitab Bukhari adalah salah satu tradisi yang mencerminkan pertemuan antara Islam dan budaya lokal.

Abstract

There has been a struggle in the diversity of the Western world, such as: That religion whose adherents have absolute, universal, and transcendental truths was concretely visualized in the Western World in the Middle Ages, even the West in the Middle Ages was known as the century of faith. However, in the modern era, the West, starting with the birth of a religious Renaissance, was challenged, criticized, and at least suspected. Since the renaissance there have been efforts to bring the Western world towards scularism and the separation of the role of religion in the life of empirical reality. The peak of rejection of religion in the west was raised by Nietzie with the statement God Is Death. In the postmodern century, it is nothing more than an image that has no meaning. Even religion has always been used as material for discussion, but in empirical reality and in practical life the existence of religion is considered as something that has no relation and is considered to interfere with human freedom. Postmodernism has a philosophy of anti-absoluteness and certainty, including in relation to religion. Therefore in the Western world there is no certainty in religion.

Abstract

Evaluasi kinerja hati merupakan kata yang jarang didengar namun usaha perbaikan hati sering diperbincangkan. Evaluasi kinerja hati dianggap sebagai hal yang tabu untuk dilakukan bahkan bingung bagaimana cara mengenali atau melakukannya. Evaluasi kinerja hati dalam pandangan Abū ‘Alî al-Banjarî al-Nadwî al- Malikî penting untuk dilihat, karena beliau merupakan ulama Nusantara yang memiliki pengaruh baik di Nusantara maupun di Asia Tenggara. Tulisan ini berupaya memotret pandangan beliau terhadap makna evaluasi kinerja hati. Penelitian ini merupakan studi terhadap telaah pemikiran Abū ‘Alî al-Banjarî al-Nadwî al- Malikî terhadap 40 Hadis Penawar Hati dan sumber lainnya. Penelitian ini merupakan kajian pustaka. Penelitian ini menemukan pandangan Abū ‘Alî al-Banjarî al-Nadwî al- Malikî bahwa usaha perbaiakan hati dianggap sukses jika hati telah mencapai derajat qalbun salîm yang memiliki tiga ciri pokok, yaitu; hati yang beriman akan pertemuan dengan Allah, ridha terhadap takdir, dan qana’ah terhadap apa yang telah diberikan oleh Allah kepadanya. Sedangkan evaluasi kinerja hati akan mampu dilihat dari puncak kesuksesan seseorang yang menjadi alat ukurnya adalah perjumpaan dengan Allah dalam keadaan beriman hanya kepada-Nya.

Abstract

 This study concerned the relationship between Islam and traditions commonly practiced by the Bugis Pagatan coastal community.  The purpose is to sociologically describe religious life and understand various rites due to a mixture of Islam and traditions. It is a descriptive qualitative, and empirical research that combines sociological, anthropological, and historical approaches to analyze the religious life of the Bugis Pagatan community. The results showed that there are three major traditions in the life of the coastal community, namely religious traditions as part of teaching values (mabbarasanji, massukkiri, mappanrelebbe), rites (mappandretasi'), and life cycle (mappabotting, madutta, mapacci, mappenretojang). Each form of tradition contains religious and cultural symbols as well as deep best values. Religious values found covered devotion, sincerity, and patience, to obtain safety and the blessings of life. Meanwhile, cultural and social values were in the form of honesty, openness, strength, chastity, and honor, to maintenance of harmony and togetherness. Thus, the interaction between Islam and local traditions runs in harmony and mutually reinforces. Islamic acculturation is accepted with the implementation of culture and directed to support spreading the religion. This research recommends the importance of maintaining a harmonious relationship between Islam and culture to prevent conflicts.   Penelitian ini mengkaji hubungan antara Islam dan tradisi yang biasa dilakukan oleh masyarakat pesisir Bugis Pagatan. Tujuannya untuk mendeskripsikan secara sosiologis kehidupan beragama dan memahami berbagai ritus akibat percampuran antara Islam dan tradisi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dan empiris yang memadukan pendekatan sosiologis, antropologis, dan historis untuk menganalisis kehidupan keagamaan masyarakat Bugis Pagatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tiga tradisi besar dalam kehidupan masyarakat pesisir Bugis Pagatan, yaitu tradisi keagamaan sebagai bagian dari ajaran nilai (mabbarasanji, massukkiri, mappanrelebbe), ritus (mappandretasi'), dan daur hidup (mappabotting, madutta, mapacci, mappenretojang). Setiap bentuk tradisi mengandung simbol-simbol agama dan budaya serta nilai-nilai terbaik  yang mendalam. Nilai religius berupa ketaqwaan, keikhlasan, dan kesabaran, untuk memperoleh keselamatan dan keberkahan hidup. Sedangkan nilai budaya dan sosial berupa kejujuran, keterbukaan, kekuatan, kesucian, dan kehormatan, untuk terpeliharanya kerukunan dan kebersamaan. Kesimpulan, interaksi antara Islam dan tradisi lokal berjalan harmonis dan saling menguatkan. Akulturasi Islam diterima dengan implementasi budaya dan diarahkan untuk mendukung proses penyebaran agama. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pentingnya menjaga  hubungan yang harmonis antara Islam dan budaya untuk mencegah terjadinya konflik.

Abstract

The Tolak Bala ritual in Kuin Besar Village pray for safety and protection from God so that they are safe, protected from all kinds of disaster. This ritual will be seen from an anthropological religion approach where the object is the diversity of society, which is empirical, appears to be valid and not based on right or wrong judgments. So how does the Tolak Bala ritual become part of the urang banjar culture and the values contained therein are analyzed in depth. This research is a field research with data collection methods, namely observation and interviews. The results of the study show that the Tolak Bala ritual is a culture which is embodied in cultural systems, social systems and artifacts. This ritual also represents solidarity, the situation is okay, a harmonious condition among its citizens. There are da'wah values in this ritual, namely strengthening friendship, giving thanks, covering the genitals, inviting the community to give alms, working together and holding deliberations. With these positive values, the tradition of Tolak Bala reinforcements can be used as a medium for preaching or commonly called da’wah cultural.
