Abstract

This study analyzed the proportion of language skills in English textbook using descriptive quantitative method. This study aimed to find out the proportion of language skills in English textbook grade XI published by Kemendikbud 2014, and to find out the suitability of language skills in English textbook grade XI published by Kemendikbud 2014 and the goal of English subject's syllabus for Senior High School. The object of this research was English textbook for grade XI (Senior High School) published by Kemendikbud 2014 (1st and 2nd semester). The instrument used was evaluation checklist to collect the data about the proportion of language skills. The result showed that the textbook focuses more on writing skills (35%), grammar (32%), speaking (25%), reading (7%), and listening had the lowest proportion of (1%). The result of the evaluation showed that this textbook represent the writing skill that integrated with other skills. This textbook has the appropriate proportion on  two  skills (writing and speaking) however, it has inappropriate proportion on other two skills (listening and reading).

Abstract

The research aims to find out the moral value in novel and their application to Indonesia morality education. The object of this research is a novel with title Harry Potter and Prisoner of azkaban by JK Rowling. This research was using qualitative as the methodology and the data was collected by checklist data sheet as an instrument. The checklist consisted of 21 items which represent the moral value base on its types. This research uses Linda theory. The result of data analysis shows that there are 89 item moral value in the novel and all value can be application in indonesia morality by using 5 value from Character Education in K13.From the results, it is concluded that people in a novel always bring some value which related to education and teacher need to know how to use it.

Abstract

Literary theory is the systematic study of the nature of literature and of the method for analysing literary works. Literary Theory is an examination of a piece of literature which can be addressed to examine a single aspect of the work in its entirety By literary theory we assume not to the meaning of work of literature but to the theories that reveal what literary works can mean. Moreover creative writing focuses on writing from emotions and thoughts which tends to be expressive, imaginative, and literary. Any writing refers to individual expression as a social practice falls to this category. It is believed that creative writing cannot be formed as an acquaintance outside literary theory instead of one that is fashioned within. This paper looks at how creative writing and literary theory should be combined for producing fine-new literary works

Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine the impact of earnings per Share (EPS) and Price Earnings Ratio (PER) on the stock prices of companies in the food and beverage industry listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) from 2015 to 2019. EPS is utilized as a metric to gauge the profitability of each share, whereas PER characterizes the market's assessment of the earnings generated per share. The research employed a descriptive verification analysis method, utilizing a sample of seven prominent organizations within the researched sector.The data utilized is derived from the yearly financial reports of each company, specifically secondary data. The investigation employed multiple regression approaches to examine the hypothesis regarding the impact of EPS and PER on stock prices. The test utilizes the coefficient of determination to ascertain the extent to which the regression model can account for the fluctuations in stock prices.The research findings indicate a substantial correlation between EPS (Earnings Per Share), PER (Price Earnings Ratio), and firm share prices within the food and beverage industry on the IDX (Indonesia Stock Exchange). The R^2 value of 0.753 suggests that 75.3% of the changes in stock prices can be accounted for by the independent variables, EPS and PER. In this industry, share prices are primarily influenced by the profitability per share and market valuation.In addition, this study emphasizes that additional variables not investigated in this research can significantly impact stock prices, including macroeconomic conditions, market sentiment, government regulations, and other external factors. Stable macroeconomic conditions can lead to more favorable circumstances for increased stock values, whereas government policy or market sentiment alterations can profoundly influence a company's stock performance.The recommendations derived from this study are intended for investors and corporate executives operating in the food and beverage industry on the IDX. Investors are advised to consider the earnings per share (EPS) and price-to-earnings ratio (PER) components of their fundamental analysis to make better-informed investment choices. It is recommended that companies prioritize enhancing their financial performance and ensuring openness in their financial reporting to boost market trust and raise the value of their shares.Subsequent investigations might broaden the range by including supplementary variables like Dividend Yield or Return on Equity (ROE) while doing a more extensive analysis of qualitative elements that impact market perceptions of EPS and PER. This research contributes to understanding the factors that impact share prices in the Indonesian capital market, particularly within the food and beverage industry.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Eksploitasi anak merupakan isu global yang serius dengan konsekuensi yang devastating bagi anak-anak yang mengalaminya. Eksploitasi anak dapat terjadi dalam berbagai bentuk, termasuk kerja anak dan perdagangan manusia. Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami peran hukum dalam mencegah eksploitasi anak dalam kerja anak dan perdagangan manusia. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yakni dengan studi literatur. Data yang telah terkumpul kemudian dianalisis dalam tiga tahapan yakni reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa hukum memiliki peran penting dalam mencegah eksploitasi anak. Hukum dapat digunakan untuk melarang dan menghukum eksploitasi anak, melindungi hak-hak anak-anak, mendukung korban eksploitasi anak, dan mencegah eksploitasi anak di masa depan. Namun, terdapat beberapa tantangan dalam menegakkan hukum untuk mencegah eksploitasi anak. Kesimpulan: Tantangan tersebut antara lain kurangnya kesadaran tentang hukum yang terkait dengan eksploitasi anak, serta  kurangnya penegakan hukum yang efektif.

Abstract

Tindak pidana perdagangan orang (TPPO) merupakan kejahatan luar biasa yang melanggar hak asasi manusia. TPPO dapat menimbulkan berbagai dampak negatif bagi korban, baik secara fisik, psikis, maupun sosial ekonomi, salah satu upaya untuk memulihkan korban TPPO adalah melalui restitusi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis peran restitusi dalam TPPO. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan studi pustaka. Data yang telah terkumpul kemudian dianalisis menggunakan tiga tahapan yakni reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa restitusi berperan sebagai pemulihan dan perlindungan hukum bagi korban perdagangan manusia. Dalam praktik peradilan pidana di Indonesia, hukuman kewajiban membayar restitusi dapat diganti dengan pidana penjara. Pidana bukan semata-mata efek jera terhadap terpidana saja yang perlu diperhatikan tetapi pemulihan kepada korban kejahatan itu sendiri melalui restitusi yang harus diperhatikan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the main character in Pinocchio (2022) movie. This type of research is qualitative descriptive or this research is dialog and scenes that show character in the main character. The data source in this research is Pinocchio (2022) movie by Chris Weitz. This movie is an adaptation of the previous movie entitled Pinocchio (1940). The method used in this research is qualitative description by using Robert Stanton's character analysis theory (1965). The data collection technique uses watching, listening, classifying, analyzing, and concluding data. The results of the analysis show that the character of the main character Pinocchio contained in the movie Pinocchio (2022) are; disobedient character (8), loving character (5), obedient character (5), curious character (4), naive character (4), cheerful character (1), worrying character (4), lying character (4), brave character (2), friendly character (3), intelligent character (2), optimistic character (2), responsible character (2), helpful character (1), and fearful character (1). The most dominant character of Pinocchio is the dissident character. Meanwhile, the characters that were least encountered by the researcher were cheerful, helpful, and fearful. The results of this study reveal that the Pinocchio (2022) movie is child-friendly and safe from harmful meanings that may be implied in the movie. However, there is also a need for parental supervision.

Abstract

Penggemar Korean wave merupakan pengguna aktif internet. Mereka akan mengakses internet demi mendapatkan informasi mengenai idolanya dan hal itu terkadang tidak mengenal waktu, sehingga dapat mengalami kecenderungan kecanduan internet. Kecenderungan kecanduan internet dapat dipengaruhi oleh locus of control dan fear of missing out yang dialami oleh penggemar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan locus of control dan fear of missing out dengan kecenderungan kecanduan internet yang terjadi pada penggemar Korean wave. Populasi penelitian adalah penggemar Korean wave yang tergabung dalam grup instant messenger. Sampel berjumlah 270 orang dari 5 (lima) grup instant messenger, diambil dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan kuesioner locus of control yang diturunkan dari teori Levenson (1973), kuesioner fear of missing out dari teori Przybylski, A. K., dkk (2013), dan kuesioner kecenderungan kecanduan internet dari teori Ponthes dan Griffiths (2017). Metode analisis menggunakan regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai F=59,499 dengan p=0,000 (p<0,05) yang berarti locus of control dan fear of missing out memiliki hubungan signifikan dengan kecenderungan kecanduan internet pada penggemar Korean wave. Analisis tambahan, nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,395 yang berarti bahwa locus of control dan fear of missing out memberikan sumbangan efektif sebesar 39,5% terhadap kecenderungan kecanduan internet pada penggemar Korean wave.
