Abstract

Selected as the National Fish Reserve (LIN), Maluku Province is known for its abundant marine resources and enormous fishery potential, supported by a capture fishery area of 658,294.69 km² which is the largest in Indonesia. Maluku has three Fishery Management Areas of the Republic of Indonesia (WPPNRI), namely WPPNRI-714, WPPNRI-715, and WPPNRI-718. However, based on production data for the capture fishery and aquaculture sectors in Maluku Province during the 2018-2022 period, these resource potentials have not been optimally utilized. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the ecological conditions and utilization of fishery resources in Maluku Province as a consideration for developing targeted policies and strategies for fishery resource utilization. This research uses a quantitative descriptive approach with data presented in narrative format, simple tables, graphs, and Multidimensional Scaling (MDS) analysis. Data collection was conducted from various sources over a 5-year period (2018-2022). Based on the analysis results, the status of ecological conditions and fishery resource utilization in Maluku Province is classified as less sustainable, indicated by Rapfish scores below 50. To improve the sustainability of fishery resource management in this region, strengthening of monitoring systems and community education about the importance of aquatic ecosystem conservation is needed.

Abstract

Proses tumbuh kembang bayi menentukan masa depan anak sebagai generasi penerus masa depan bangsa, maka perhatian terhadap keadaan gizi dan kesehatan merupakan hal yang penting Sekitar 40% anak di daerah pedesaan mengalami pertumbuhan yang terhambat. Menurut World Health Organization (WHO) memperkirakan penyebab sepertiga kematian balita di seluruh dunia diakibatkan oleh gizi kurang. Untuk Asia tenggara yang merupakan daerah yang memiliki prevalensi gizi kurang terbesar di dunia yaitu sebesar 42%, (UNICEF, 2015). Tujuan kegiatan ini untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu tentang nutrisi yang baik bagi anak balita dalam mendukung program pemerintah dalam menurunkan angka stunting. Manfaat Kegiatan: untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu dan masyarkat tentang pemberian nutrisi sesuai dengan usia anak dalam menurunkan angka stunting. Luaran Pengabdian Masyarakat: kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan kesadaran ibu dalam memberikan menu makanan yang bergizi untuk kebutuhan anak balita. Abstract

Bahasa merupakan elemen krusial dalam pendidikan. Bahasa digunakan dalam masyarakat untuk berkomunikasi secara individu maupun kolektif. Penguasaan bahasa sangat krusial dalam kehidupan individu. Penguasaan bahasa Inggris pada tingkat sekolah dasar mengacu pada penguasaan kosakata fundamental yang berkaitan dengan tema-tema kehidupan sehari-hari siswa. Salah satu metode untuk belajar bahasa Inggris adalah dengan menggunakan teknik, strategi, dan media yang menarik yang memikat pelajar. Aktivitas dilaksanakan melalui diskusi, ujian, dan penilaian. Peserta didik dapat meningkatkan kosakata bahasa Inggris mereka dengan memanfaatkan media gambar sebagai hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini. Pemanfaatan media gambar juga dapat membantu mereka dalam mengingat kosakata yang telah mereka pelajari.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara motivasi belajar dan perhatian orang tua dengan kesiapan belajar siswa kelas V MI Al-Maghfiroh Kota Tangerang tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V MI Al-Maghfiroh Kota Tangerang tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Objek penelitian ini adalah motivasi belajar, perhatian orang tua dan kesiapan belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan expostfacto. Penelitian ini meneliti populasi yaitu seluruh siswa kelas V MI di MI Al-Maghfiroh Kota Tangerang yang terdiri dari siswa kelas VA dan VB MI Al-Maghfiroh Kota Tangerang yang berjumlah 66 siswa. Data diperoleh melalui daftar skala motivasi belajar, perhatian orang tua dan kesiapan belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan statistik non parametris, dan merupakan penelitian populasi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji hipotesis (korelasi product moment). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada tingkat kesalahan 5%, besarnya korelasi antara motivasi belajar dan perhatian orang tua terhadap kesiapan belajar (rhitung) sebesar 0,565 dengan rtabel sebesar 0,239. Karena rhitung ? rtabel maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif antara motivasi belajar dan perhatian orang tua secara bersama-sama dengan kesiapan belajar siswa.

Abstract

The yard is an open area located around a house. If this land is well maintained, it will provide an attractive, comfortable, healthy and pleasant environment so that people feel at home. The purpose of this KKN is to increase knowledge, skills, awareness and motivate the community, especially in North Pringgajurang Village in utilizing empty land or yards as a source of food security and family income and implementing several simple planting and maintenance techniques that can be easily implemented by the community. The method used in this activity is counseling and continued with discussions with villagers as a process to transfer knowledge and skills. The output achievements produced based on the counseling activities include: there is a maximum change in the function of the yard, increasing the knowledge and skills of community groups in implementing vegetable and medicinal plant cultivation techniques, the community already understands the importance of food diversification and the health of the food consumed, and understands the management of family income by selling the harvest of the vegetables. This makes the environment around the activity cleaner and greener, and community groups can meet the needs of vegetables and medicinal plants around their homes.

Abstract

Background & Objective: Sexual violence against children is a global issue that is still rampant in many countries around the world and affects children of various vulnerable ages. Sex education does not mean limiting their association with fellow friends, but aims to make them more careful in socializing. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of sex education on knowledge about free sex in adolescents at MTs. Maraqitta'limat Medas in 2024. Method: Types of pre-experimental research with One Grub pretest-posttest design. A sample of 33 adolescents with a total sampling method. Respondents were given an intervention by providing health education, previously respondents were given a pretest before the intervention and a posttest after the intervention, The measuring tool used was a questionnaire about free sex. Result: The results of the statistical test using the Wilcoxson test with a value of α=0.05 with an average value before the intervention was 8.00 and an average value after the intervention was 16.04. This shows that there is an influence of sex education on the knowledge of free sex in adolescents in MTs. Maraqitta'limat Medas. Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, it is hoped that health workers will be more active in providing education related to promiscuity in adolescents, as an effort to overcome promiscuity that is rampant in the community.

Abstract

The waters of North Maluku are located in the Southern Pacific Ocean and are the eastern route of the Indonesian Throughflow, which contributes to the hydro-oceanographic conditions. The research aims to examine the hydro-oceanographic conditions of the island waters around North Maluku. Data obtained from measurement results and data reanalysis (www.marinecopernicus.eu) for the period December 2020–August 2021. Data analysis using Ocean Data View and Ferret software. The results of the analysis show that the west monsoon wind from the northwest blows at a speed of 2 m/s. The current movement pattern moves to the southeast. In the east season, the dominant wind blows from the southeast and south. Spasial temperatures in the two seasons are different between the waters of Termadoreh and Buli Bay. In January, the sea surface temperature in Termadoreh and Buli Bay averaged 29 °C and 30.50 °C. Meanwhile, in July, the average was between 29.50 and 29.70 °C. For salinity characteristics, in January, the Halmahera Sea was higher (34.2–34.8 psu) than the Maluku Sea (33.6-34.0 psu)

Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology in today's digital era has significantly impacted the younger generation, one of which is online gaming addiction. This addiction can diminish the physical, social, and mental quality of young people, as well as disrupt their daily activities. In addressing this issue, soccer emerges as an effective alternative solution to reduce online gaming addiction. This study aims to explore the importance of soccer as a means to enhance physical activity, build social skills, and provide positive stimulation for the emotional development of young people. Through an approach involving observations and interviews with coaches, young players, and parents, this research finds that soccer can provide a healthy environment, improve social interaction, and foster a spirit of sportsmanship that helps divert teenagers' attention away from online gaming addiction. The results of this study are expected to provide a deeper understanding of the benefits of sports, particularly soccer, in shaping character and improving the well-being of the younger generation amid the dominance of digital technology.
