Abstract

This community service activity focuses on improving the capacity of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) managers in preparing effective business proposals. The program involves 100 BUMDes, consisting of Start-Up and Developing BUMDes in Pacitan Regency, with the aim of strengthening village economic independence through more professional business management. In this program, participants receive training covering crucial aspects of business proposal preparation, including market analysis, financial projections, and marketing strategies. This assistance not only aims to enhance the technical skills of BUMDes managers but also helps them prepare strategic documents capable of attracting external funding. The results of the activity show a significant improvement in the quality of the business proposals prepared, where the proposals are now more structured and include more comprehensive analyses. In addition, the use of digital technology in marketing was also part of the training, which is expected to expand market access for the products and services offered by BUMDes. Through this activity, it is hoped that BUMDes in Pacitan Regency can develop more independently and professionally and become key drivers of sustainable village economic development.

Abstract

This study uses quantitative secondary data to determine the effect of capital structure, company liquidity and company size on company value with credit risk as a mediation variable. The researcher used quantitative approach with descriptive quantitative design. The population of this study is banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2010-2020 totaling 29 banking companies. The data used is a panel data regression method using the eviews version 10 application. Sample selection using full sampling. The results obtained show that (1) Capital structure has a positive effect on company value, (2) Liquidity does not affect company value, (3) Company size does not affect company value, (4) Credit risk does not affect company value, (5) Capital structure has a negative effect on credit risk, (6) Liquidity does not affect credit risk, (7) Company size has a positive effect on credit risk,  (8) Credit risk is not proven as an intervening variable in banking companies in Indonesia.

Abstract

Investigating the motion of solid particles in fluids analyzes the drag force experienced by the particles, depending on parameters such as particle diameter, fluid velocity, density, and viscosity. The Reynolds number, which expresses a fluid's inertia relative to its viscosity, governs the dimensionless drag coefficient, which is critical to understanding drag forces. Terminal velocity, achieved when the force of gravity equals the buoyancy and drag forces of the fluid, is a critical concept often analyzed using the Stokes model. However, differences between theoretical and experimental terminal velocities arise due to oversight of the model's application conditions. Numerical experiments offer controlled conditions to address this, helping predictions align with theoretical models. This research explores the influence of density ratio and particulate diameter on terminal velocity, aiming to support research-based learning for teachers and conceptual understanding for students. Numerical experiments designed by Arbie et al. (2021) investigated two-dimensional particulate configurations, allowing controlled manipulation of parameters. The results show a strong influence of the density ratio and diameter to the terminal velocity, with larger parameter values influencing the Reynolds number and giving rise to differences between theoretical and experimental values. Therefore, careful parameter selection is essential for viscosity experiments, aligning with the objectives and comparability of theoretical models.

Abstract

Abstract

Generation Z employees, characterized by unique workplace expectations and technological fluency, present distinct challenges for organizational management, particularly regarding career development and job satisfaction dynamics. This study examines how emotional exhaustion mediates the relationship between career development and job satisfaction among Gen Z workers in South Jakarta, Indonesia. Using simple random sampling, data were collected from 387 Gen Z employees (aged 18-40, predominantly 24-28 years) working across various sectors in South Jakarta. Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) via SmartPLS 4.0 was employed to test the hypothesized relationships. Results reveal that: (1) career development significantly and positively influences job satisfaction (β = 0.409, t = 6.544, p < 0.001); (2) career development significantly affects emotional exhaustion (β = 0.654, t = 34.027, p < 0.001); (3) emotional exhaustion significantly impacts job satisfaction (β = -0.598, t = 8.118, p < 0.001); and (4) emotional exhaustion significantly mediates the career development-job satisfaction relationship (indirect effect = 0.392, t = 7.586, p < 0.001). The model demonstrates strong explanatory power (R² = 0.728 for job satisfaction; R² = 0.631 for emotional exhaustion). These findings indicate that while career development enhances job satisfaction directly, it simultaneously generates emotional exhaustion, which negatively impacts satisfaction. For Gen Z employees specifically, organizations must balance career advancement opportunities with workload management, emotional support systems, and transparent communication to optimize satisfaction outcomes while mitigating burnout risks inherent in career progression demands.

Abstract

The competition in the field of health service is diverse and competitive. When facing the competition with the competitor, the quality of health services must also on it's prime. One of the factor that determine the quality of service is the quality of the human resource. But to provide the most excellent service with the lowest price, competitor is offering higher salary to the human resources of PT.AEA. In this case, employment turnover is giving a negative impact to the company because of the health human resources recruited by the competitor is getting a training and debriefing. The high rate of employment turnover has resulted in the decreased of company performance and incurring cost on the recruitment of new employees. Therefore, every company must analyze and control the factor that cause the high rate of human resources turnover. Keywords : Human resource, health service, employee turnover
