Abstract

Multilayer porous composite have been produced through the heating process at temperature T=700oC for 2.5 h. Single layered porous composite was made with a varied mass percentage of from PEG polymer  1% to 10%. Double-layered porous composite were made by the arrangement of porosity (4:3)%, (4:2)% and (3:2)%, while the three-layers porous composite have an arrangement (4:3:2)%. Performance of multilayer porous composite for water filtration with pollutants of methylene blue 100 ppm was estimated from the absorbance spectrum. Rejection of methylene blue pollutants from single layered porous composite increases when the fraction of PEG polymer tend to be smaller in the matrix. Meanwhile, the double layered porous composite has a degradation of methylene blue pollutants are better than one layer. Triple layered porous composite have good performance for the water filtration where all the pollutants of methylene blue be able to be filtered.   Komposit pori berlapis telah dihasilkan dengan proses pemanasan pada temperatur T=700oC selama 2.5 jam. Komposit pori satu lapis dibuat dengan variasi persen massa polimer PEG 1% hingga 10%. Komposit pori dua lapis dibuat dengan susunan porositas (4:3)%, (4:2)% dan (3:2)%, sedangkan komposit pori tiga lapis memiliki susunan porositas (4:3:2)%. Kinerja komposit pori berlapis untuk filter air dengan polutan methylene blue 100 ppm diestimasi dari spektrum absorbansi. Rejeksi polutan methylene blue dari komposit pori satu lapis meningkat saat fraksi polimer PEG cenderung lebih kecil dalam matrik komposit. Sedangkan, komposit pori dua lapis memiliki kemampuan untuk degradasi polutan methylene blue yang lebih baik dari satu lapis. Komposit pori tiga lapis memiliki kinerja yang baik untuk filter air dimana seluruh polutan methylene blue mampu disaring.

Abstract

Carbon Nanodots (C-Dots) from waste frying oil could be used as a photocatalyst in water purification with solar light irradiation. Performance of C-Dots as a photocatalyst was tested in the process of water purification with  a given synthetic sewage methylene blue. The tested was also conducted by comparing the performance C-Dots made from frying oil, waste fryng oil as a photocatalyst and solution of methylene blue without photocatalyst C-Dots. Performance of C-Dots from waste frying oil were estimated by the results of absorbance spectrum. The results of measurement absorbance spectrum from the process of water purification with photocatalyst C-Dots showed that the highest intensity at a wavelength 664 nm of methylene blue decreased. The test results showed that the performance of photocatalyst C- Dots from waste frying oil was better in water purification. This estimated that number of particles C-dots is more in waste frying oil because have experieced repeated the heating process so that the higher particles concentration make the photocatalyst process more effective. The observation of the performance C-Dots from waste frying oil as a photocatalyst in the water purification processes become important invention for solving the problems of waste and water purification.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan deposisi film tipis ZnO:Ga di atas substrat kaca korning pada tekanan deposisi 500 mtorr dengan metode DC-magnetron sputtering. Film ditumbuhkan masing-masing pada suhu 325oC, 375oC, dan 425oC. Struktur, sifat optik dan sifat listrik film tipis yang dideposisikan telah dikarakterisasi dengan menggunakan EDX, XRD, SEM, spektrofotometer UV-Vis dan I-V Meter. Analisis EDX menunjukkan bahwa film yang terdeposisi merupakan film tipis ZnO:Ga. Hasil analisis struktur dengan XRD menunjukkan bahwa film tipis ZnO:Ga yang dideposisikan merupakan polikristalin dengan struktur heksagonal wurtzite. Film ZnO:Ga yang dideposisikan pada suhu 325o mempunyai kualitas kristal yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan film yang dideposisikan pada suhu 375o dan 425oC. Hasil XRD juga terkonfirmasi dengan observasi SEM menunjukkan bahwa film ZnO:Ga yang dideposisikan pada suhu 325oC mempunyai ukuran butir yang lebih homogen dibandingkan dengan film yang ditumbuhkan pada suhu deposisi 375o dan 425oC. Film tipis ZnO:Ga yang ditumbuhkan pada suhu 325oC mencapai transmitansi optik ~ 89% dan energi bandgap ~3,33 eV. Sifat listrik dapat diketahui dengan menggunakan I-V Meter yang menunjukkan nilai  1,74 x10ˉ3 (Ωcm)ˉ1 pada suhu deposisi 325oC. Thin films ZnO:Ga were deposited on corning glass substrates with argon gas pressure 500 mtorr and variation temperature at 325oC,  375oC and 425oC by DC-Magnetron Sputtering. The structural studies, optical and electricity properties of the thin films have been investigated by means of EDX, XRD, SEM, Uv-Vis spectroscopy and I-V meter. The EDX result show that thin films were deposited is ZnO:Ga thin films. The structural studies result from XRD show the ZnO:Ga thin films deposited have polycrystalline with the hexagonal wurtzite structure. ZnO:Ga film were deposited at 325oC have the better quality crystal with the other. The XRD result also appropriate with SEM, it was shown at 325oC has grain size more homogeny with the other films. Thin films ZnO:Ga was deposited at 325oC has the optical transmittance ~89% and the bandgap ~3,33 eV. Electrical conductivity 1.74 x10ˉ3 (Ωcm)ˉ1 at deposited  325oC.

Abstract

The effect of after-deposition oxidation to the thin film properties Ga doped ZnO has been studied.  Film deposited using dc magnetron sputtering method at temperature 300oC for one hour and then it was performed variations of oxidation using oxygen gas (99,9%) with pressure of 0 mTorr and 50 mTorr at a temperature of 300 ° C for 20 minutes. According to the image scanning of electron microscopy, it shows that the film grain size became larger in oxygen pressure of 50 mTor as compared to the pressure of 0 mTor. UV-Vis spectrophotometer analysis showed the film transmittance in visible light increases with the increasing of oxygen pressure reached ~83%. Band-gap energy that has been produced by film on the oxygen pressure of 0 mTorr and 50 mTorr are respectively 3.32 eV and 3.4 eV.

Abstract

Penerapan model pembelajaran kontekstual berbantuan mindscaping dilakukan untuk remediasi miskonsepsi serta peningkatan hasil belajar dan pemahaman konsep siswa. Penerapan model pembelajaran kontekstual berbantuan mindscaping dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Bangsri menggunakan Metode Pre-Experimental Designs dengan one-group pretest-postest design yang diterapkan di kelas XI IPA 1. Analisis data menunjukkan kelas eksperimen dengan model pembelajaran kontekstual berbantuan mindscaping telah mencapai ketuntasan belajar secara klasikal dengan persentase sebesar  55,5%. Peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa diketahui dari uji gain dengan kategori sedang (<g>= 0,59). Dari analisis data disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kontekstual berbantuan mindscaping efektif dalam meremediasi miskonsepsi siswa sehingga dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar  dan pemahaman konsep siswa.

Abstract

The limitation of space and time became the obstacle in the effort to improve the learning quality. Lecturer as the fasilitator got difficulty to present a media so that abstract material can be easily understood. The purpose of this research is to find out the characteristics and the worthiness of instructional video of magnetism. The procedure of this research suitable with the method of this Research and Development (R&D). The focus of this research is development of instructional video of magnetism in Basic Physics 2. Instrument used in this research are Worthiness Questionare in the form of Likert scale consist of Validation Questionare from media expert and material expert also Questionare of student response to the instructional video of magnetism. Validation result from material expert up to 89,58 % and 77, 08 %. While the validation result from media expert up to 78,13 % and 87,00 % and result the questionare of student response have the percentage of 85,83%, 88,73%, and 87,50%. The characteristics of instructional video of magnetism according to the aspect of media include Maintanable, Usability, Compatibility, Reusable, Good ilustration, Good Audio, Communicative and Good Visualisation. According to the aspect of material include: Suitable to the theme of magnetism, Accurate, Most Up to Date, and Good Material Output.

Abstract

Device props that developed is smartphone projector that was equipped by student work sheets. Smartphone projector props from simple materials and easy to find intheform of a water-filled bulb that the system works like a convex lens, so it can produce real, inverted, and zoomed in shadow properties. Student work sheets as a supplement containing the props instruction, material reviews, and evaluation questions. The result of feasibility test of practicum device categorized as very high with percentage 87.64%. Research and Development in the form of Pretest and Postest One Group Design carried out for thr test of respondents. This research was held in junior high school 3 Juwana. The effectiveness test analysis was performed by the N-Gain <g> test and questionnaire student response. Validation results by validators for smartphone projector with student work sheets showed average score of 87.64%, so the tool props are very suitable to use as instructional media. N-Gain test analysis showed pretest-posttest results were classified as medium criterion with a <g> value of 0.589 and 82.35% classical completeness that is high. The results of the analysis of student responses show the value of 78.76 with positive criteria

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre-experimental satu kelas eksperimen sebagai objek yang diberi perlakuan, dengan mengadopsi desain one group pretest-posttest. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling, yaitu dipilih atas pertimbangan atau tujuan tertentu. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi untuk mengukur afektif, tes untuk pretest dan posttest, dokumentasi untuk bukti kegiatan pembelajaran selama penelitian, dan angket untuk mengetahui respon siswa mengenai model pembelajaran CTL berbantuan media video. Berdasarkan hasil uji peningkatan hasil belajar untuk aspek kognitif diperoleh gain sebesar 0,66 dengan kriteria sedang dan aspek afektifnya diperoleh gain sebesar 0,14 dengan kriteria rendah, sedangkan nilai rata-rata posttest kelas eksperimen untuk aspek kognitif sebesar 77,70 dan aspek afektif sebesar 86,72. Respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan CTL berbantuan video diperoleh melalui pemberian angket. Secara keseluruhan respon siswa dalam kategori baik dengan angka persentase rata-rata 76,81. Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini yaitu karakteristik media video dalam pembelajaran fisika menggunakan pendekatan CTL berupa kegiatan percobaan untuk pembuktian Hukum Charles. Pembelajaran fisika dengan pendekatan CTL berbantuan video ini dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Ketercapaian hasil belajar untuk aspek kognitifnya belum mampu mencapai nilai rata-rata KKM minimal sebesar 76,00.   This study used a pre-experimental method on one experimental class as a treated object, by adopting the design of one group pretest-posttest. Sampling in this study was conducted by using Purposive Sampling techniques, which are selected for certain considerations or goals. Data retrieval is done by observation to measure affective, tests for pretest and posttest, documentation for evidence of learning activities during the study, and questionnaires to determine student responses to the CTL learning model assisted by video media. Based on the results of an increase in learning outcomes for cognitive aspects obtained a gain of 0.66 with moderate criteria and affective aspects obtained gain of 0.14 with low criteria, while the average value of the experimental class posttest for cognitive aspects is 77.70 and affective aspects of 86.72. Student responses to learning using the CTL approach assisted by video were obtained through the provision of questionnaires. Overall the students responses were in a good category with an average percentage number of 76.81. The conclusion of this study is the characteristics of video media in physics learning using the CTL approach in the form of experimental activities to prove Charles's Law. Learning physics with the CTL approach assisted by this video can improve student learning outcomes. Achievement of learning outcomes for cognitive aspects has not been able to achieve an average Minimum Completeness Criteria value of at least 76.00.

Abstract

Sebagian besar mahasiswa fisika memiliki pandangan fisika klasik dalam mempelajari fisika kuantum. Pembelajaran pemodelanpada penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk mengidentifikasi perubahan model mental mahasiswa dalam mempelajari model konseptual kuantum. Model mental adalah gambaran yang tercipta dalam pikiran tentang suatu fenomena alam. Model konseptual adalah gambaran dari fenomena alam yang sesuai dengan pandangan para ilmuan.Analisis kualitatif yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah grounded theory. Hasil dari analisis tersebutdidapatkan pandangan (model mental) mahasiswa tentang konsep fisika kuantum adalah model kuantum, intermediate dan mekanikaklasik.Mahasiswa mengalami perubahan daerah dimensi pemahaman dari mekanika klasik menjadi model mental kuantum.Akurasi dari identifikasi model mental mahasiswa dapat ditingkatkan dengan membuat gambar interpretasi secara berulang. Gambar tersebut dapat diperkuat dengan hasil observasi dan wawancara.   Most of physics students hold classical physics perspective when they learn quantum physics. Modeling instruction is implemented to identifymental modelschanging in learning quantum conceptual models.Mental model is animage created in the mind of a natural phenomenon. The conceptual models are a description of natural phenomena in appropriate with the scientistsperspective.Qualitative analysis used in this research is grounded theory. The results of identification student model mental is categorized as quantum, intermediate and clasical mechanics. Students haveexperienced changing of dimensional understanding area from classical mechanics into a quantum perpective. The accuracy of mental modelidentification can be improved by making the interpretation image repeatedly.The images can be legitimated by observations and interviews.
