Abstract

Material law of conservation of energy and momentum is abstract material. Practical tools are needed in learning to prove the law so that it can foster real learning for students. This research method is an experimental method that aims to find out how to test the energy conservation and momentum law practicum kit. The practicum kit consists of wheeled objects as loads, precision rails as slippery trajectories, and infrared sensor devices to detect the speed of motion of objects. The kits that have been compiled are then validated by experts before use. Kit validation results are valid. In the implementation of the kit testing the independent variables selected are object mass and slope height. The test results obtained that the kit equipped with infrared sensors is quite accurate in explaining the law of conservation of energy which is evidenced by the relative error that occurs is quite small, namely 1%. In testing the law of conservation of momentum obtained the result that the momentum value of the two objects before the collision approaches the momentum value after the collision. The kit testing results become a solution and innovation as a practical tool to help with more tangible learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi pembelajaran sains dengan media fotonovela untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan pemahaman konsep peserta didik. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 24 peserta didik.Metode penelitian menggunakan Mixed Methods desain sequential explanatory. Tahap pertama metode kuantitatif,One-group Pretest-posttest design untuk memperoleh data keefektifan media fotonovela, motivasi belajar, dan pemahaman konsep. Tahap kedua metode kualitatif untuk memperdalam data kuantitatif. Data motivasi belajar dan pemahaman konsep dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner dan pretest-posttest. Uji validitas kuesioner dan tes dianalisis menggunakan validitas isi yang dikonsultasikan dengan ahli. Uji reliabilitas kuesioner dan tes dilakukan dengan menggunakan Alpha Cronbach dan KR-20. Uji hipotesis menggunakan one sample t-test dan uji gain ternormalisasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatanmotivasi belajar dan pemahaman konsep peserta didik. Hasil uji hipotesis keefektifan media fotonovela diperoleh  = 0.9105. Hasil uji gain motivasi belajar diperoleh  = 0.05. Hasil uji gain pemahaman konsep diperoleh  = 0.3. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pembelajaran sains dengan media fotonovela efektif dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan pemahaman konsep peserta didik.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was, (1) to describe the implementation of PBL model with mind mapping to improve students' understanding of concept, and (2) to analyze the improvement of understanding of concept of the students after the implementation of PBL model with mind mapping. This type of research is mixed methods with sequential explanatory strategy. Samples of this research was the fourth grade students of SDN 5 Puyoh with 30 students. The first method applied in this research was quantitative method with one group pretest-posttest design, followed by the method of data collection techniques by using test in the form of multiple choice questions, as well as non-test which consists of interview, observation, and documentation. The results showed that (1) the implementation of PBL model with mind mapping had succeeded in increasing the understanding of concept of students with the achievement of three indicators: the average posttest student conceptual understanding reached the minimum mastery criteria, the increase of students' understanding of concept is in the category of at least moderate according to N-Gain test, the average score achieved by the N- gain test was 0.36 which is in the medium category, and the average score of the acquisition of the create of mind mapping is also in the minimum good category, the average score obtained is 22, (2) the learning conducted by using PBL and mind mapping can improve students' understanding of concept, the Sig value obtained is 0.00 < 0.05, therefore, it can be concluded that there is an increased of understanding of concept of students after the implementation of PBL model with mind mapping.

Abstract

This study has the purpose of improving the science process skills and cognitive learning outcomes of students after the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) type of cooperative learning model was applied in forming soil material. The method of this study was experimental research. The instrument of this study was tests and non-tests. The results showed that the cooperative learning model of Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) could improve students' science process skills with the value obtained from the N-gain test of 0.72 (high) in the experimental class 1 and 0.76 (high) in the experimental class 2. The cognitive learning outcomes of students have increased by 0.54 (moderate) in the experimental classes 1 and 2 with the classical completeness of 86.1% and 88.89%. This study concluded that the implementation of the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) learning model has effectively improved students' science process skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of learning of the CPS learning model on the ability to solve math problems in fifth-grade students and describe the patterns of students' mathematical problem-solving abilities in terms of learning styles. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with the subject of fifth-grade students at Public Elementary School 1 Kalibawang, Wonosobo consisting of 18 students. The instruments used in this study were test and interview instruments. Data analysis includes reduction, presentation of data, and conclusion. The results showed the quality of learning with the CPS learning model on the ability to solve mathematical problems in both categories. It is shown with the results of the validation of proper learning tools, good quality learning, and the average score of students completing. Students with convergent learning styles can solve problems until the stage of re-checking, but at the stage of planning problem-solving lacks detail. Students with divergent learning styles can solve problems up to the stage of checking back, and can solve them well. Students with an assimilation learning style can solve problem until the re-checking stage, but at the planning stage of problem-solving are not perfect. Students with accommodation learning style can solve problem until re-checking stage, but at the stage of carrying out problem solving are not complete.

Abstract

Multilayer porous composite have been produced through the heating process at temperature T=700oC for 2.5 h. Single layered porous composite was made with a varied mass percentage of from PEG polymer  1% to 10%. Double-layered porous composite were made by the arrangement of porosity (4:3)%, (4:2)% and (3:2)%, while the three-layers porous composite have an arrangement (4:3:2)%. Performance of multilayer porous composite for water filtration with pollutants of methylene blue 100 ppm was estimated from the absorbance spectrum. Rejection of methylene blue pollutants from single layered porous composite increases when the fraction of PEG polymer tend to be smaller in the matrix. Meanwhile, the double layered porous composite has a degradation of methylene blue pollutants are better than one layer. Triple layered porous composite have good performance for the water filtration where all the pollutants of methylene blue be able to be filtered.   Komposit pori berlapis telah dihasilkan dengan proses pemanasan pada temperatur T=700oC selama 2.5 jam. Komposit pori satu lapis dibuat dengan variasi persen massa polimer PEG 1% hingga 10%. Komposit pori dua lapis dibuat dengan susunan porositas (4:3)%, (4:2)% dan (3:2)%, sedangkan komposit pori tiga lapis memiliki susunan porositas (4:3:2)%. Kinerja komposit pori berlapis untuk filter air dengan polutan methylene blue 100 ppm diestimasi dari spektrum absorbansi. Rejeksi polutan methylene blue dari komposit pori satu lapis meningkat saat fraksi polimer PEG cenderung lebih kecil dalam matrik komposit. Sedangkan, komposit pori dua lapis memiliki kemampuan untuk degradasi polutan methylene blue yang lebih baik dari satu lapis. Komposit pori tiga lapis memiliki kinerja yang baik untuk filter air dimana seluruh polutan methylene blue mampu disaring.

Abstract

Komposit berpori dengan bahan dasar limbah kaca dan Polyethylen Glycol  (PEG) telah dihasilkan dengan metode pencampuran sederhana. Pori pada komposit terbentuk akibat PEG yang menguap ketika dipanaskan pada temperature 700oC selama 2,5 jam. Variasi pori dihasilkan dengan mengatur komposisi PEG yaitu 2%, 3%, 4%, 5%, 6%, 7%, 8%, dan 9%. Komposit berpori memiliki nilai porositas yang bertambah dengan kenaikan komposisi PEG. Komposit berpori memiliki porositas pada rentang 1% hingga 5% dan nilai permeabilitas komposit berpori yaitu (0.3-25)x10-15 m2. Potensi komposit berpori sebagai filter air diujicobakan dengan mengalirkan limbah air sungai. Hasil pengujian diperoleh air dengan sifat fisis air bening dan tidak berbau, sehingga komposit berpori dari limbah kaca dapat menyaring air limbah.  {0>Komposit berpori dengan bahan dasar limbah kaca dan Polyethylen Glicol (PEG) telah dihasilkan dengan metode pencampuran sederhana.<}0{>Porous composites from waste glass and Polyethylene Glycol (PEG) have been synthesized by a simple mixing method.<0} {0>Pori pada komposit terbentuk akibat PEG yang menguap ketika dipanaskan pada temperature 700oC selama 2,5 jam.Variasi pori dihasilkan dengan mengatur komposisi PEG yaitu 2%, 3%, 4%, 5%, 6%, 7%, 8%, dan 9%.Komposit berpori memiliki nilai porositas yang bertambah dengan kenaikan komposisi PEG.<}0{>The pores of the composite were formed due to the evaporation of PEG when heated at temperature of 700oC for 2.5 hours. The pore variation may be obtained by adjusting the PEG composition, i.e. 1%, 2%, 3%, 4%, 5%, 6%, 7%, 8%, and 9%. Abstract

Telah dapat ditumbuhkan film tipis Ga2O3:ZnO di atas substrat silikonmenggunakan dc magnetron sputtering (home made). Parameter deposisi yangdivariasikan dalam pembuatan film tipis Ga2O3:ZnO adalah daya plasma. Prosespenumbuhan dilakukan selama 3 jam. Struktur film dipelajari dengan menggunakandifraksi sinar X (XRD) dan SEM. Hasil difraktogram XRD dibandingkan dengandata JCPDS untuk mengidentifikasi struktur kristal yang tumbuh. Film tipis yangditumbuhkan dengan daya plasma 20,15 W dan 24,10 W teramati puncak difraksibersesuaian dengan orientasi bidang (201) yang menunjukkan lapisan tipisGa2O3:ZnO memiliki struktur monoklinik dan intensitas tertinggi bersesuaian denganorientasi bidang (400) pada fase kubik. Pada citra SEM dengan perbesaran 10.000kali teramati bahwa film yang ditumbuhkan dengan daya plasma 20,15 Wmempunyai morfologi yang lebih rata. Kondisi tersebut dikarenakan atom-atom yangmenempel pada substrat ada yang terlepas terlebih dahulu sebelum datang atom-atomyang tersputter dari target. Hal ini sebagai konsekuensi laju atom yang menujusubstrat relatif rendah karena ditumbuhkan pada daya plasma yang juga relatifrendah.Kata kunci: Ga2O3:ZnO, daya plasma, XRD, SEM, dc magnetron sputtering.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a motion?s learning material based on Mastery Learning for Senior High School?s students. The development of learning materials include Lesson Plans, learning media in the form of practicum videos, learning resources in the form of Mastery Learning?s Students Worksheet, and learning assessment instruments. The research method is Research and Development with 4-D development model that has been modified into 3-D. The 3-D research procedure includes: (1) defining, (2) designing, and (3) developing. The reserach was conducted at SMA N 14 Semarang Academic Year 2018/2019 with respondents 35 students. The results of the development of motion?s learning material based on Mastery Learning obtained results in the form of: validation of Lesson Plans feasibility is considered very feasible with a percentage of 92%; validation of practicum video feasibility by experts is considered very feasible with a percentage of 88.5%, teacher response to practicum videos is 82% with good categories; student responses to practicum videos amounted to 79% with good categories; validation of the feasibility of Mastery Learning?s Students Worksheet by experts of 86.5% with very good categories; the teacher's response to Mastery Learning?s Students Worksheet was 94% with a very good category, the readability level of Mastery Learning?s Students Worksheet was 94% and the validation of learning assessment instruments was 86% with a very feasible category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan alat pendeteksi suhu dan kelembaban terintegrasi dengan internet berbasis NodeMCU melalui WEB sebagai media informasi pada budidaya jamur tiram. Alat pendeteksi suhu dan kelembaban telah dikembangkan dengan mengkombinasikan sensor DHT11, NodeMCU, dan sketch program Arduino IDE sebagai pengirim data ke WEB dan relay sebagai saklar pompa. Hasil eksperimen telah memperlihatkan data pada WEB serta relay dapat menyalakan pompa saat alat mendeteksi kelembaban &lt;80% dapat menyirami rak jamur tiram sedangkan saat alat mendeteksi kelembaban &gt;80% relay mematikan pompa dan hasil panen tanpa perlakuan rata-rata perhari 1kg sedangkan dengan perlakuan rata-rata perhari 2kg. Demikian dapat disimpulkan alat pendeteksi suhu dan kelembaban mampu memberikan informasi dan membantu menaikkan hasil panen petani jamur tiram.
