Abstract

Permasalahan utama adalah peserta didik sekolah dasar memiliki ketertarikan minim dalam mempelajari Teks Ekplanasi, saat ini peserta didik memiliki ketertarikan dalam bidang teknologi. Permasalahan inilah yang membuat peneliti menciptakan produk Flipbook Teks Eksplanasi dengan tujuan: (1) Mengembangkan media pembelajaran flipbook dengan pendekatan saintifik, (2) Menganalisis kelayakan media pembelajaran flipbook dengan pendekatan saintifik oleh ahli, (3) Menganalisis keberhasilan penggunaan dan pengembangan media pembelajaran flipbook dengan pendekatan saintifik untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi pada peserta didik SDN 01 Tegalgede. Metode penelitian ini Research and Development, rancangan penelitian yang dikembangkan oleh ADDIE. Subjek yang dipilih mempertimbangkan adanya nilai mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia yang kurang pada materi menulis Teks Eksplanasi dan wawancara dengan Guru yang menyebutkan adanya tantangan dalam menyampaikan materi menulis Teks Eksplanasi di kelas 5. Pengembangan produk dengan rancangan ADDIE ini menghasilkan: (1) Flipbook Teks Eksplanasi dengan desain, warna, dan gambar yang telah disesuaikan dengan masukan ahli serta karakteristik peserta didik (2) Flipbook ini layak digunakan sebagai penunjang penyampaian materi berdasarkan hasil perhitungan skala Likert untuk membandingkan skor responden yang memperoleh hasil sangat baik dan beberapa kriteria serta masukan dari ahli dan uji lapangan yang dilakukan oleh guru di sekolah. (3) Uji hipotesis Mann Whitney dengan hasil Asymp. Sig. 2 tailed 0.014 memiliki nilai signifikan lebih kecil dari 0,05, dapat dinyatakan bahwa terjadi perubahan signifikan dan Ha diterima, yang berarti media flipbook ini dinyatakan berhasil untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis Teks Eksplanasi pada peserta didik kelas 5 SDN 01 Tegalgede.

Abstract

Menulis merupakan salah satu keterampilan dasar dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris yang harus dikuasai oleh mahasiswa, namun sering dianggap sebagai keterampilan yang sulit. Salah satu tantangan utama adalah rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam menulis teks deskriptif, yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya kemampuan mereka dalam memvisualisasikan objek yang akan dideskripsikan. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, metode Direct Object Writing Method with Realia (DOWMR) diusulkan sebagai solusi. Metode ini melibatkan penggunaan objek nyata di sekitar siswa untuk membantu mereka mendeskripsikan objek dengan lebih rinci dan mendalam. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan untuk melatih guru Bahasa Inggris di SMPN 2 Woha dalam menerapkan metode DOWMR untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis siswa. Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan selama satu hari ini meliputi pre-test, sosialisasi, pemberian materi, post-test, dan diskusi. Hasil yang dicapai menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam mengajarkan penulisan teks deskriptif, serta memberikan pengalaman belajar yang lebih praktis dan menyenangkan bagi siswa. Meskipun terdapat beberapa keterbatasan, seperti waktu yang terbatas dan biaya yang minim, kegiatan ini berhasil memberikan dampak positif terhadap pengembangan kapasitas pengajaran guru Bahasa Inggris di sekolah tersebut.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the instillation of character values ​​in ecosystem and harmonization materials in social studies learning. The research method used is a literature study, by reviewing various sources that discuss the topic being studied. Data is collected systematically and analyzed to obtain generalizations of the topics raised. In addition to tracing written sources, researchers also adjust the data to current conditions. The results of the study indicate that the application of outdoor/outdoor learning methods can be used to instill character values ​​in ecosystem and harmonization materials, in this case students can directly witness phenomena related to learning topics, and can internalize the values ​​of wisdom in the surrounding environment as a reflection of character values. In addition, teachers also use BBL, PBL, PjBL, CTL methods, the use of videos and increasing systematic thinking skills significantly increase the instillation of character values ​​such as responsibility, cooperation, and environmental awareness, as well as improve student learning outcomes. This study contributes to the development of effective innovative learning strategies to integrate character education in IPAS learning

Abstract

This research is to examine the urgency of the local wisdom value of maja labo dahu in the formation of children's religious character in Rada village, Bima regency. Maja labo dahu, which means "shame and fear (of god)", is a philosophy of life of the Bima people that emphasizes the importance of shame to do wrong and fear of God as a moral foundation. This value is believed to be able to become a social control and shape the character of children who are honest, discilplind, responsible, and avoid reprehensible actions. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation and coclusion drawing. The results showed that the integration of maja labo dahu values in the family environment plays an important role in instilling children's religious character. This value not only strengthens children's cultural and religious identity, but also becomes an effective moral fortress in facing the challenges of the digital era and the negative influence of social media. Thus, internalizing the value of maja labo dahu is urgent to strengthen the religious character of the younger amid rapid social change.

Abstract

Speaking skills in English is a very important skill in general communication. This skill is needed even since school age children. SD Negeri Jombor 03 Bendosari Sukoharjo is located in Jombor sub-district, Bendosari sub-district, Sukoharjo regency, which has students with relatively low English speaking ability. This is evidenced from the document a student's grade is relatively lace that obtained by the researchers through observation.The purpose of this study is to provide convenience for students of SD Negeri Jombor 03 Bendosari Sukoharjo to improve their speaking skills, especially to introduce themselves and their families. The method used by researchers is practice individually, in pairs, and in groups. This method provides an opportunity for students to be more active and expressive to express ideas, and bring up peer tutors to reduce the tension or pressure that obtained indirectly in a foreign language learning. In addition to the planned method, researchers also made use of LCD media and letter cards along with plastic boards to help students more easily absorb the material. This media was contributed quite a lot.The students feel happy, enthusiastic and more expressive in accepting the material provided.The researchers obtained the data by  field observations, then the researchers made other instruments such as questionaire sheets, pretests and evaluations. The results of this study are quite significant. The students was increased by 30.66% than of the results of the pretest and posttest. This method is expected to be carried out elsewhere so that the benefits can be felt in the wider community.

Abstract

Purpose: This study examines the extent of the utilization of village fund allocation to develop small and medium industries in Kalukubula village, Sigi Biromaru Sub-District. Method/approach: This study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through observations, interviews, and documentation. The informants included village government officials and small-to medium-sized industry actors who received village fund support. This study applies Richard M. Steers' (1985) theory of Effectiveness, focusing on three indicators: goal achievement, adaptation, and integration. Results/findings: The results obtained by the author in this research show that the effective utilization of village funds enhances small and medium enterprises through support for business capital and equipment in Kalukubula Village, based on three indicators of effectiveness: achievement of goals, where support from village funds not only successfully increases community income but also creates business independence; adaptation by providing training facilities and offering assistance in infrastructure that meets the needs of entrepreneurs; and integration, where the Kalukubula Village Government has conducted socialization regarding the use of village funds. Conclusion: The allocation of village funds in Kalukubula Village has proven to be fairly effective in supporting the development of small and medium industries based on Steers' three organizational effectiveness indicators. Limitations: This research was limited by time and was only conducted in one village as a case study. Contribution: This study provides recommendations to the village government to maximize the use of village funds for the development of small and medium industries to improve the village economy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai Profil Pelajar Pancasila yang terkandung dalam cerpen “Tawa Gadis Padang Sampah”, relevansi nilai Profil Pelajar Pancasila dalam cerpen dengan pendidikan karakter, dan merumuskan strategi implementasi melalui cerpen untuk pendidikan karakter siswa. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, menggunakan pendekatan sosiologi sastra dengan metode content analysis yaitu membaca dan mengidentifikasi kalimat atau frasa dalam cerpen yang mengandung nilai Profil Pelajar Pancasila. Data penelitian berupa kata, frase, kalimat, dan ungkapan yang mengandung nilai Profil Pelajar Pancasila.  Sumber datanya adalah cerpen “Tawa Gadis Padang Sampah” karya Ahmad Tohari yang diterbitkan oleh surat kabar harian Kompas dan dokumen pembelajaran yang berhubungan dengan penelitian, serta hasil penelitian terdahulu yang relevan. Sampel penelitian menggunakan purposive sampling fokus pada pencarian data nilai-nilai Profil Pelajar Pancasila yang terdapat dalam cerpen. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan teknik baca analitik dan teknik catat. Validitas data dengan teknik triangulasi data dan triangulasi metode. Teknik analisis datanya adalah teknik dialektik, teknik hermeneotik, dan teknik interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa cerpen “Tawa Gadis Padang Sampah”: 1) Mengandung nilai-nilai Profil Pelajar Pancasila dimensi  :beriman, bertakwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, dan berakhlak mulia, mandiri 6 data, bergotong-royong 12 data, berkebinekaan global 5 data, bernalar kritis 15 data, dan kreatif 11 data  2) Cerpen ini menunjukkan relevansi dengan bahan ajar sastra di SMP yaitu terletak pada karakter tokoh dalam cerpen sesuai Profil Pelajar Pancasila yang memiliki potensi sebagai bahan ajar yang relevan untuk pembentukan pendidikan karakter siswa 3) strategi implementasinya dapat dirumuskan sebagai berikut: pemahaman isi dan analisis nilai karakter; diskusi reflektif dan konektivitas dengan kehidupan nyata; kegiatan kreatif dan interaktif.

Abstract

Globalization, socio-cultural shifts, environmental changes, and work demands are key factors in instilling the Pancasila student profile in students, one of which is through learning literary works such as novels. This study aims to describe the Pancasila student profile values found in the novel Si Anak Pelangi and their relevance to Indonesian language learning in elementary schools. The study uses a qualitative descriptive method, with data in the form of words, dialogues, quotes, and events in the novel that reflect the Pancasila student profile values. Data sources include the novel Si Anak Pelangi and teaching materials documents. Data were collected through reading, listening, note-taking, and document analysis. Data analysis used a sociology of literature approach with dialectical techniques and interactive analysis in three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results indicate that the values of the Pancasila student profile—faith, devotion to God, noble character, global diversity, independence, mutual cooperation, creativity, and critical thinking—are found in the novel Si Anak Pelangi by Tere Liye. Its relevance to Indonesian language learning in elementary schools is reflected in learning outcomes, teaching materials, and learning objectives.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the representation of social concern and how it reinforces the Pancasila Student Profile through the literary narrative of the novel Orang Miskin Dilarang Sekolah by Wiwid Prasetyo. This qualitative research employs a descriptive content analysis method with a literary sociology approach. Data were collected using listening, reading, and note-taking techniques on textual elements—words, phrases, sentences, and quotations—that contain elements of social concern. Data were obtained from the primary source (the novel) and supported by secondary textual references. Sampling was conducted purposively, and data validity was ensured through triangulation of sources and theories, as well as peer review and observer persistence. The data were analyzed through content analysis followed by dialectical techniques to identify interactions between social values and character formation. The findings reveal four main representations of social concern: (1) inequality in access to education, (2) societal indifference toward the poor, (3) individual resistance to social injustice, and (4) family empathy towards children's educational aspirations. These elements significantly contribute to the internalization of Pancasila Student Profile values, including mutual cooperation, independence, social justice, and empathy. The novel thus functions not only as a reflection of social reality but also as a medium to strengthen the values of character education aligned with national ideology.

Abstract

Independence is a crucial character trait that needs to be developed in educational settings. This study aims to analyze the representation of independence in Andrea Hirata's novel Guru Aini and examine its practical implications for literacy practices in schools, specifically focusing on students' behavioral and psychological conditions regarding literacy habits. This qualitative descriptive study employed a case study approach based on literary psychology perspective. Data consisted of words, statements, quotations, and sentences containing independence meanings from the 200-page novel Guru Aini published by Pustaka Belitung. Data collection utilized analytical reading and note-taking techniques. Data validity was ensured through source and method triangulation. Content analysis with literary psychology approach was employed, followed by interactive data analysis including data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The study identified three forms of independence representation: (1) Emotional independence - characters' ability to manage feelings without external support; (2) Social independence - adaptation and interaction capabilities in diverse environments; (3) Professional independence - autonomous decision-making in academic and career pursuits. The analysis revealed that literacy habits focusing on independence support students' development of critical thinking, autonomous learning, and responsibility. Literary works can serve as effective media for instilling independence values in students. The implications suggest that incorporating independence-themed literature in school literacy programs can enhance students' character development and learning autonomy.
