Abstract

Pengembangan buku saku pendidikan kebencanaan dilakukan untuk menunjang fasilitas berupa bahan ajar dalam pengimplementasian pendidikan kebencanaan di sekolah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan dan mengetahui tingkat kevalidan buku saku pendidikan kebencanaan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode pengembangan model 4-D menurut Thiagarajan (1974) yang dimodifikasi menjadi 3-D, yaitu define, design, dan develop. Instrumen pada penelitian menggunakan angket validasi yang diisi oleh 2 dosen ahli, yang terdiri dari ahli materi dan ahli media serta 2 praktisi yang merupakan guru IPA di SMP. Hasil penilaian validator terhadap buku saku pendidikan kebencanaan tema gelombang dan bencana menunjukkan kriteria sangat valid dengan nilai presentase kevalidan 88%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, buku saku pendidikan kebencanaan dapat digunakan sebagai bahan ajar dalam pengimplementasian pendidikan kebencanaan di sekolah khusunya pada tingkat SMP.

Abstract

Ekosistem Mangrove merupakan ekosistem unik di pesisir sebagai pelindung daratan baik pelindung dari abrasi, intrusi dan sebagai habitat berbagai macam spesies. Besarnya fungsi mangrove ini akan sangat disayangkan ketika terjadi kerusakan karena akan berdampak ke berbagai aspek seperti matinya spesies, berubahnya garis pantai karena abrasi, masuknya air asin ke air tanah dan lain sebagainya sehingga perlunya pemeliharaan ekosistem ini. Pemeliharaan ini perlu dilakukan dengan pengenalan kondisi kawasan ini sehingga tindakan yang akan dilakukan lebih tepat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengenali kondisi ekosistem mangrove dan lingkungannya antara lain ancaman, kerentanan dan kerusakan yang bisa terjadi. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan analisis kualitatif semi-kuantitatif dengan statistik sederhana.. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan analisis data sekunder dan observasi lapangan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan indeks ancaman gelombang terhadap ekosistem mangrove meliputi tinggi gelombang, arus, bentuk garis pantai dan ada tidaknya karang penghalang. Indikator tersebut merupakan indikator yang memperkuat besarnya energi gelombang. Kemudian mengguanakan indeks kerentanan mangrove dari gelombang meliputi luasnya vegetasi mangrove, zonasi mangrove dan fungsi hutan mangrove. Indikator tersebut akan memperkuat kondisi kerentanan mangrove dari gelombang. Selanjutnya tingkat kerusakaan menggunakan persamaan bencana, dimana tingkat ancaman dan kerentanan saling menguatkan terhadap kerusakan. Hasil analisis setiap indikator diklasifikasikan ke dalam 3 kelas menurut Rumus Sturgess, sedangkan tingkat kerusakan terhadap gelombang dikelaskan menurut matrik Peraturan KA BNPB No 02 Tahun 2012 yang dimodifikasi. Hasil penelitian antara lain (1) Ancaman gelombang terhadap ekosistem mangrove di Kawasan Konservasi Pulau Dua pada tingkat sedang (2) Kerentanan ekosistem mangrove terhadap gelombang di Kawasan Konservasi Pulau Dua pada tingkat sedang (3) Berdasarkan kondisi ancaman dan kerentanan maka dapat dilihat tingkat kerusakan pada kelas sedang. Dengan pengenalan kondisi ini diharapkan dapat menjadi pedoman bagi pemerintah maupun masyarakat untuk bertindak sebagai upaya pengantisipasian dan pengurangan kerusakan ekosistem mangrove dikarenakan gelombang.Keywords: ancaman, kerentanan, mangrove

Abstract

The study aims to develop valid higher-order thinking skill-based questions on the water and life topics for measuring junior high school students' creative thinking ability. The Borg and Gall development model was applied in this study. The development steps were limited to the fifth step, including identifying potential and problems, collecting data, designing the product, validating the design, and revising the design. The instrument used is a logical validation questionnaire that utilizes a Likert scale to ascertain the validity of the questions based on expert judgment and their reliability scores. The development of higher-order thinking skill-based questions on Junior High School students shows that the developed product is valid. It is based on expert validity assessments conducted by material, evaluation, and educator experts. A total of 27 questions were tested, and the average validity score of 77%, 80%, and 84% from the material, evaluation, educator expert assessments, respectively.  In conclusion, all 27 questions developed are valid, with an overall average validation score of 80% and a reliability score of 83.7% in the very reliable category.

Abstract

ORGANIC WASTE MANAGEMENT TRAINING WITH SMART SENSORS FOR OFFICE BOY. Organic waste is a type of waste that can cause pollution both in the air and in the soil environment. Based on observations in the field, organic waste is only disposed of in the trash and mixed with inorganic waste before being carried by a garbage truck. So, an alternative solution is needed, namely training in organic waste management with smart sensors for Office Boy (OB) in the FKIP Untirta environment. The aim of this community service activity is to train OB in making trash bins with smart sensors and processing organic waste to become economically valuable products. The results of this recycling can be used as fertilizer for plants in the FKIP Untirta environment so that it supports the concept of Untirta's Green Campus. This activity is in the form of training using practical methods. The implementing team provides materials and guides the practice of making trash bins and processing waste. In addition, the participants carried out the practice provided with manual books to facilitate the training process. Participants who took part were all OB from the FKIP environment totaling 26 people. The data obtained by this training activity used a questionnaire and performance. Based on the results of the questionnaire data analysis of the participant's satisfaction with community service activities in the form of organic waste management training with smart sensors to Office Boy at FKIP Untirta, for indicators of activity effectiveness, criteria are very effective and for team performance indicators, criteria are very effective.

Abstract

By linking the domains of science studies, the 2013 curriculum emphasizes integrated science study. Scientific learning is more than just memorizing information and concepts; it must be shown via experiments that allow students to apply science process skills. As part of the production of instructional materials, science process skills are taught. Such as LKPD, which is built on the predict, observe, and explain principle (POE). The goal of this study is to learn more about the creation process and degree of validation of POE-based LKPD training PPP on environmental conservation topics in grade VII SMP. The study was conducted utilizing a 3-D version of the 4-D Research and Development technique, particularly the Define, Design, and Develop stages. A validation questionnaire was filled out by two material expert lecturers, two media experts, and two junior high school science teacher practitioners for the study's instrument. The results showed that the development process used 3D development and that the POE-based LKPD had a level of validity of 90% for material experts with a very valid category, 72% for media experts with a valid category, and 90.5% for junior high school science teachers with a very valid category. The POE-based LKPD may be evaluated in scientific learning to develop science process skills, based on the recapitulation of the validation findings; all validators received an average percentage value of 84% in the extremely valid category.

Abstract

Learning activities that lead to creative thinking skills have not been fully implemented.. Creative thinking skills can be trained by developing teaching materials in the form of E-Worksheet which is able to train students' reasoning abilities. The open-ended problem approach is able to direct students to solve problems in various ways. So that the E-Worksheet based on open ended problems is able to give students the freedom to describe the results of creative analysis to solve problems. The purpose of this study is to measure the level of validity of the E-Worksheet based on the open ended problem of the global warming theme to train the creative thinking skills of grade VII students. The method used is research and development or Research and Development (R&D) with the 4D research and development model by Thiagarajan (1975) which is modified as needed by being limited to the development stage until the product validation test. The instrument used is a validation questionnaire sheet that has been tested by instrument experts to determine the level of validity of the developed E-Worksheet. Data were analyzed descriptively quantitatively and qualitatively. The results showed that the level of validity of the E-LKPD based on the open ended problem of the global warming theme obtained a value of 89,1% with the "very valid" category. The results of the assessment are based on the average value of material experts, media experts, and expert practitioners.

Abstract

Online learning to anticipate the Covid-19 pandemic directly or indirectly has presented a new order in the learning aspect. One of the Learning Management System (LMS) technologies used at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University is the Sistem Pembelajaran Daring (SPADA). Several features in SPADA have been developed to help students learn independently or guided, including summary, assignment, grade, URL and activity completion. Lecturers continue to try to anticipate problems in optimizing these features. These efforts continue to experience changes and developments because the self regulated learning that is passed by each student is not the same. This is influenced by a series of brain mechanisms in processing information or known as neuroscience. Student activities related to independent learning do not only involve cognition from a series of information processing, but a series of self-knowledge information that is included in the study of abilities and metacognitive skills. In this regard, the independence of learning in this study is explained in terms of cognitive, motivational and behavioral aspects using a questionnaire instrument and interview guidelines for 32 students in the Department of Natural Sciences Education Semester V of 2020. Based on the results and discussion, it is known that the difficulty in realizing learning independence because students do not know for sure the goals to be achieved, so it is difficult to determine various strategies for achieving them. The problem of self regulated learning encourages LMS optimization steps with SPADA features based on neuroscience studies. The first thing to do is to give students the freedom to learn according to their inclinations, so the suggestion that can be conveyed is that the lecturer should know the learning style of each student before using the LMS through the SPADA feature in developing student learning independence.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana tingkat kevalidan dari media komik digital berbasis discovery learning pada tema “bertamasya ke tata surya” untuk menumbuhkan motivasi belajar siswa SMP. Metode penelitian yang digunakan berupa RD dengan model 4-D Thiagarajan dan hanya terbatas sampai tahapan development. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar angket validasi untuk ahli materi, media, dan praktisi. Analisis data menggunakan penelitian yang bersifat kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Produk yang dibuat berupa media komik digital berbasis discovery learning dengan tingkat kevalidan sebesar 98.74% yang termasuk ke dalam kategori “sangat valid” sehingga dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran dan juga mampu membantu menumbuhkan motivasi belajar siswa SMP.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi akan diikuti dengan kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan, khususnya pada ilmu pengetahuan alam (IPA) dimana pada prosesnya pembelajaran IPA menstimulus siswa dalam penggunaan daya pikir untuk memecahkan suatu pemasalahan. Hal tersebut secara tidak langsung merangsang siswa dalam melatih kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi salah satunya berpikir kreatif. Namun berdasarkan hasil wawancara disekolah didapatkan bahwa penerapan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada pembelajaran IPA kurang optimal serta kurang diterapkan pada media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kevalidan dari pengembangan video animasi berbasis pendekatan SETS untuk melatih kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa SMP kelas VII pada tema bumiku asri. Manfaat dari penelitian ini sebagai media edukasi bagi siswa untuk mempermudah akses dalam belajar dan upaya dalam mengatasi pemecahan masalah yang dialami oleh siswa pada saat proses pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan SETS dalam melatih kemampuan berpikir kreatif. Metode yang digunakan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model 4D meliputi define (pendefinian), design (perancangan), develop (pengembangan), dan disseminate (penyebaran), namun pada penelitian ini terbatas sampai tahap develop. Hasil penelitian ditinjau dari uji validasi pengembangan video animasi berbasis pendekatan SETS dengan rata-rata penilaian sebesar 89,34% termasuk dalam kategori “Sangat Valid”, sehingga video animasi berbasis pendekatan SETS dinyatakan sangat valid untuk dilanjutkan pada tahap penelitian berikutnya yaitu disseminate (penyebaran) sebagai media pembelajaran dalam melatih kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa SMP kelas VII pada tema bumiku asri.

Abstract

The basis of the research was that misconceptions greatly affect student learning outcomes because they can understand and interpret a concept incorrectly. Students who have understood the concept can be measured from good learning outcomes. Low learning outcomes identify difficulties in the student learning process, thereby affecting the level of student understanding. The research conducted was descriptive research. The facts found from the research results were then described in accordance with the actual situation in the form of data. The data obtained was then processed, interpreted, recorded and analyzed using statistical data. In this study, researchers collected data regarding a symptom that occurs as a result of the learning process. The source of the data in this study was obtained by administering a three tier multiple choice diagnostic tests to a predetermined sample. Based on the data obtained in items 1, 7, 11 of the 18 items it is said that the highest misconception is because students cannot explain the characteristics of a solid substance correctly. Judging from these problems, students experienced misconceptions of reasoning or incomplete or incorrect reasoning. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded as follows: There is a misconception about the concept of substances and their characteristics. The percentage of misconceptions about the concept of substances and their characteristics is 30%. The percentage of false negative misconceptions on the concept of substances and their characteristics is 8%. The percentage of false positive misconceptions on the concept of substances and their characteristics is 28%.
