Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study was to obtain data about the effectiveness of online Kumon learning model in reading skill in German in class XI SMA Negeri 8 Makassar. This research was a ‘true experiment’ research. The population of this study were students of class XI SMA Negeri 8 Makassar which consisted of 9 classes of 297 students. The sample technique that used was random sampling. The subject of this research was students of class XI SMA MIPA 6 which consisted by 33 students as the experimental class and students of class XI IPS 1 which consisted by 33 students as the control class. The results of data analysis using t-test was tcount 6.49> ttable 1.999 at α 0.05 level. The results showed that the online Kumon learning model was effective in the reading ability of German students of class XI SMA Negeri 8 Makassar.

Abstract

Abstract. The aim of this research was to obtain data and information on the effectiveness of Instagram in German speaking for students class X SMAN 1 Maros. This research was Quasi Experimental with the form Non Equivalent Control Group Design. Sample of this research was the students class X SMAN 1 Maros, which consisted of 68 students and class X MIPA 5 as experimental class and class X MIPA 6 as control class and were selected randomly. Instrument in this research was a test of students speaking skills. Data were collected through the results of speaking skills test and data were analyzed using T-test. The results of data analysis show that Tcount (4,046)  Ttable (1,998) with a significance level of 0,05. This means that Instagram is effective in the German speaking of students class X SMAN 1 Maros.  Keywords : Instagram, Speaking, German

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan metode SAVI dalam penguasaan mufradat siswa kelas X IIS MAN 1 Kota Makassar. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah penggunaan metode SAVI (Somatis, Auditori, Visual, Intelektual), sedangkan variabel terikat pada penelitian ini adalah penguasaan mufradat. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X IIS MAN 1 Kota Makassar yang berjumlah 114 siswa. Adapun sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 72 siswa yang terdiri dari 36 siswa kelas X IIS 1 MAN 1 Kota Makassar sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 36 siswa kelas X IIS 3 MAN 1 Kota Makassar sebagai kelas kontrol yang dipilih melalui teknik random sampling. Data hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dengan memberikan pre-test dan post-test tertulis pada materi “Al-Hiwayah”. Nilai rata-rata (mean) pre-test siswa pada kelas eksperimen adalah 52,7, Nilai rata-rata  (mean) pre-test siswa pada kelas kontrol adalah 42,2. Perbedaan nilai rata-rata (mean) pre-test kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol adalah 10,5. Nilai rata-rata (mean) post-test pada kelas eksperimen adalah 86,5. Nilai rata-rata (mean) post-test pada kelas kontrol adalah 51,9. Perbedaan nilai rata-rata (mean) post-test kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol sebesar 34,6. Hasil perhitungan uji-t taraf signifikasi 0,05 diperoleh nilai thitung 5,27 > ttabel 1,997. Hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan metode SAVI (Somatis, Auditori, Visual, Intelektual) efektif dalam penguasaan mufradat siswa kelas X IIS MAN 1 Kota Makassar.

Abstract

Abstract. This aim of this research was to obtain data and information on the effectiveness  of  Youtube  animation on listening German skill for X IPS SMA Kartika  XX-1  Makassar.  The type  of this research is a quasi-experimental (nonequivalent control group design). The population of this research is the students of class X IPS SMA Kartika XX-1 Makassar with 47 students. The sample of this research is the students of class X IPS 1 with 24 students as the experimental class and students of class X IPS 2 with 23 students as the control class and selected by total sampling. The results of data analysis obtained through t-count = 5.562 > t- table = 2.014 and the value of sig. (2- tailed) = 0.000 < 0.05 at a significance level of 0,05. This results of this study indicate that the use of Youtube animation was effective in German listening skill of class X IPS students of SMA Kartika XX-1 Makassar.Keywords: Youtube Animation, Listening Skills, German.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan bahasa Mandarin siswa melalui metode pembelajaran langsung (Direct Method) Sampel penelitan ini adalah siswa kelas X yang berjumlah 10 orang. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Masing-masing siklus terdiri atas dua kali pertemuan. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes keterampilan berbicara bahasa Mandarin dan lembar observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri atas dua yaitu kualitatif dan kuantitatif.Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa metode pembelajaran langsung (Direct Method) meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara bahasa Mandarin siswa. Hal ini dapat dibuktikan dengan adanya peningkatan keterampilan berbicara bahasa Mandarin dari siklus I rata-rata yang diperoleh yaitu 74,75 dan pada siklus II dengan rata-rata 83,7. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan berbicara bahasa Mandarin seluruh siswa mengalami peningkatan sebesar 9%. Kata Kunci : Direct Method, Keterampilan, Berbicara, Bahasa Mandarin ABSTRACT This research aims to improve students' Mandarin language skills through the direct learning method (Direct Method). The sample of this research is 10th-gradeChinese students. This research is a classroom action research that consists of two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings. The instrument used was a test of Chinese speaking skills and an observation sheet. The data analysis technique used in this study consisted of two, namely qualitative and quantitative. The results showed that the direct learning method (Direct Method) improved students' Mandarin speaking skills. This can be proven by an increase in Chinese speaking skills from the first cycle, the average obtained is 74.75 and in the second cycle, the average is 83.7. These results indicate that the Chinese speaking skills of all students have increased by 9%. Keywords: Direct Method, Skills, Speaking, Mandarin

Abstract

Abstract. This research is classroom action research which consists of two cycles. The purpose of this research to know the planning, process, and results the Wirbelgruppen method in improving the German speaking skills of class X MIPA 5 students of SMA Negeri 1 Barru. This research data consists of quantitative data and qualitative. Qualitative data was obtained through observation and quantitative data was obtained through the results of the German speaking skills test in cycle I and cycle II. The data were analyzed using the percentage technique. The results showed that the percentage value obtained by students in the first cycle reached 58% and the second cycle reached 81%. These results show that the Wirbelgruppen method can improve the German speaking skills of students of class X MIPA 5 SMA Negeri 1 Barru. Keywords: The Wirbelgruppen, Speaking Skills, German

Abstract

              Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji fungsi dan makna fengshui bagi masyarakat Tionghoa di kota Makassar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian etnografi dan pemerolehan data melalui wawancara. Informan penelitian adalah warga Tionghoa yang berdomisili di kota Makassar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa makna fengshui dalam kehidupan masyarakat Tionghoa di kota Makassar adalah menyelaraskan, menyeimbangkan, dan mengharmonisasikan kehidupan antarmanusia dan alam semesta. Fungsi fengshui sebagai patokan untuk mengatur dan menata bangunan agar tercipta energi yang baik dan seimbang sehingga mendatangkan keberuntungan dan keberhasilan. Pada pembelajaran pengetahuan lintas budaya fengshui sebagai sebuah tahapan agar masyarakat Tionghoa menyadari akan budayanya sendiri dan masyarakat lokal menghormati adanya keberagaman budaya.          Kata Kunci :  Fengshui, Masyarakat Tionghoa, Kota Makassar, Lintas Budaya

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif jenis korelasi (correlational research) yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara penguasaan kosakata dengan keterampilan berbicara bahasa Arab siswa kelas X SMA IT Ar Rahmah Makassar. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah penguasaan kosakata, sedangkan variabel terikatnya adalah keterampilan berbicara bahasa Arab siswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas X SMA IT Ar Rahmah Makassar sebanyak 40 siswa, dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA IT Ar Rahmah Makassar yang berjumlah 40 orang dengan teknik pengambilan sampel adalah sampel total atau total sampling. Data hasil penelitian dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dengan memberikan tes tertulis berupa tes penguasaan kosakata dan tes keterampilan berbicara bahasa Arab. Berdasarkan hasil analisis statistik inferensial jenis korelasi person product moment atau  sebesar (0,916) nilai kategori sangat kuat (bersifat positif), dengan nilai signifikansi pada penelitian ini diperoleh sebesar <0,001 < 0,05, dengan demikian hal ini menyatakan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara penguasaan kosakata dengan keterampilan berbicara bahasa Arab siswa kelas X SMA IT Ar Rahmah Makassar.

Abstract

Media of Moodle in Writing Skills in Forumsbeitrag the Students of the German Language Education Faculty of Langauge and Literature Universitas Negeri Makassar. This study aims to obtain data and information regarding the use of Moodle on the writing skills of german language Forumsbeitrag in fourth semester students of the German Language Study Program at FBS UNM. Moodle is software that is used to develop and run Internet-based learning that has features such as uploading and sharing material, forums and conversations, quizzes, gathering and reviewing assignments, and recording grades. Forumsbeitrag is writting or written in a discussion forum to discuss a theme. In the Goethe-Institut German standard B1 level exam, Forumsbeitrag is the second part of the writing test. The design of this study is quasi-experimental. The research subjects were 52 students of fourth semester who programmed the course Schriftlicher Ausdruck consisting of 27 students in class A as an experimental class and 25 people in class B as a control class. Data is collected by providing a pretest and posttest in the form of writing Forumsbeitrag. Data analysis was performed through normality test, homogeneity test and t-test. The results showed that t-count = 1.50 < t-table = 2.009 at the 0.05 significance level. This means that Moodle is not effective in learning of writing the Forumsbeitrag for students in the German Language Study Program, FBS UNM.

Abstract

Intercultural understanding skills in learning reading through the Flipped Learning Model (FLM). Learning a language is a conscious effort to improve the competencies that are the main target of a learning process, but indirectly learners will also be introduced to the culture of the language that is studied. FLM is an instructional didactic learning model that has a pillar of cultural benchmarking that is packed through the implementation of digital technology media that will facilitate learning both in the classroom and out of class. This study aims to obtain information on the ability to cross-cultural understanding in learning to read German through FLM. This research is a qualitative study and conducted in the German language education study Program Faculty of Language and Literature of Makassar State University with the number of samples as much as 25 people. Data is collected through field records, observations, interviews and reading ability tests to determine the cross-cultural understanding of students of the German language and analyzed qualitatively and by using the percentage technique. The results showed that FLM had a significant impact on student enthusiasm in reading learning. It is backed by a percentage of the cross-cultural understanding ability of 80.20%.
