Abstract

Cases of sexual violence against children occurred successively in Batang Regency, including Bandar District. The incidence of this case is considered quite high, reaching 17 victims. Therefore, Empowering Community Partnership (PKM) program is urgent to be implemented immediately. This program is an activity carried out to improve social conditions in the target area. The aim of PKM is to implement the Local Wisdom-Based Sexual Violence Prevention Application (CEKSALOKA) at the schools in the area of KKG (Teacher Working Group) of Gugus Gajah Mada in Batang Regency in order to create an environment free of sexual violence against children. PKM partners are all schools and teachers at the KKG Gugus Gajah Mada in Bandar District, Batang Regency, which consists of 8 Public Elementary Schools in the neighborhood.

Abstract

In the digital era, sentiment analysis plays a strategic role in understanding customer perceptions of products and services. This research aims to analyze customer review sentiment on the Lazada platform through the application of text processing techniques and machine learning algorithms. Data is taken from product reviews on the platform, which then undergoes a preprocessing stage, including tokenization, stopword removal, and stemming using the Sastrawi algorithm. Next, sentiment classification was performed using a Support Vector Machine optimized through the Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) method. The research results showed that the combination of the Sastrawi stemmer method and SVM-PSO was able to achieve significant accuracy, namely 90.57%, an increase of 6.24% compared to previous research. These findings provide deep insights into customer perceptions and offer valuable guidance for decision-makers at Lazada in improving service quality and customer satisfaction. This study also underscores the importance of applying Natural Language Processing techniques and machine learning algorithms in sentiment analysis on e-commerce platforms, which have proven to produce more accurate outputs.

Abstract

Population administration and correspondence services at the village and sub-district levels often present obstacles for the community, especially since they must come directly to the office to handle various needs. In an effort to overcome this problem, the community service team sought to develop sipsidomukti on SIPsiMas (Community Administration Service Information System), which is a digital-based system that allows to community of Sidomukti sub-district, Salatiga City, to process documents online. The program aims to improve the efficiency of administrative services, reduce queues at village and sub-district offices, and provide easy access for the community without time and place restrictions. The system development is carried out using web-based technology and mobile applications that allow residents to submit, monitor, and print documents independently. The program implementation methods include: needs analysis, design and development, outreach and training, and evaluation and improvement. With the existence of sipsidomukti in SIPsiMas, administrative services in Sidomukti sub-district have become faster, more transparent, and more efficient, increasing public satisfaction with public services. Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to be able to avoid limitations of inexpensive ID card data extraction services and preserve privacy, which can simultaneously achieve reliable operation even under an environment with minimum infrastructure, in particular if no dependency on GPU-based servers are required. Method: The proposed approach is a microservice pipeline with three stages: (1) local lightweight pre-processing on devices, (2) Tesseract CPU-based OCR. js, (3) fast text tokenization through a small premature external LLM. The system is developed as TypeScript backend utilizing the Hono framework with all image processing taking place locally in order to keeping user data private. Result: The result of the experimental evaluations with real ID card samples is that the system can run stably in low-performance VPS (1 vCPU, 1 GB RAM) with operation cost approximately IDR 2.5047 per extraction process and its accuracy level is acceptable for use in a production environment. Moreover, the results indicate that system latency is dominated by LLM inference at the cloud. Novelty: The main contribution and novelty of this study is that we demonstrate, for the first time, a cost-effective (privacy-preserving) OCR-LLM hybrid pipeline without demanding expensive GPU models at large scale which makes our system suitable under limited storage and resource constraints on-premises or edge environments in small organizations including micro-SaaS services.

Abstract

Kemiskinan merupakan permasalahan sosial yang masih menjadi perhatian dalam pembangunan daerah, khususnya di Provinsi Jawa Tengah yang memiliki kondisi sosial ekonomi dan karakteristik wilayah yang beragam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memvisualisasikan dan menganalisis perubahan tingkat kemiskinan kabupaten/kota di Provinsi Jawa Tengah pada periode 2021–2025 berbasis Web Geographic Information System (Web GIS). Data penelitian bersumber dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) yang meliputi jumlah penduduk, jumlah penduduk miskin, persentase penduduk miskin, Tingkat Pengangguran Terbuka (TPT), dan Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM). Data spasial berupa peta administrasi kabupaten/kota diolah menggunakan perangkat lunak QGIS dengan mengintegrasikan data atribut dan spasial untuk menghasilkan peta tematik tahunan. Peta kemudian diekspor menggunakan plugin qgis2web dan dikembangkan menjadi sebuah website yang menampilkan peta interaktif serta analisis perubahan tingkat kemiskinan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan dan dinamika tingkat kemiskinan antar wilayah. Web GIS yang dihasilkan dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai media pendukung analisis dan pengambilan keputusan pembangunan daerah.

Abstract

Flooding is one of the most recurrent natural disasters in Central Java Province, particularly during the rainy season. Diverse geographical characteristics, high rainfall intensity, and rapid urban development contribute to the region’s high vulnerability to flood hazards. According to the Central Java Statistics Agency, a total of 414 flood events and 407,784 affected victims were recorded between 2019 and 2021. This study aims to develop a web-based Geographic Information System (GIS) capable of mapping the spatial distribution and impact levels of floods across Central Java. The methodology includes collecting flood event data from the Central Java Statistics Agency, processing spatial data such as administrative boundary shapefiles, performing attribute integration between spatial and non-spatial datasets, and creating thematic maps using QGIS. The visualization outputs were exported into an interactive web format using the qgis2web plugin and subsequently integrated into a website developed with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The results show that the GIS system successfully visualizes flood-prone areas, identifies regions with high flood intensity, and enables users to explore detailed information through interactive digital maps. Additional website features—such as historical flood data, statistical summaries, and descriptive impact indicators—enhance the system's usefulness for disaster analysis. This study demonstrates the crucial role of GIS in supporting disaster mitigation, spatial planning, and policy evaluation related to flood management. Future research is recommended to incorporate more recent datasets and additional non-spatial variables such as rainfall intensity and floodwater depth to improve the system’s analytical accuracy and comprehensiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to design and build a population distribution application in Demak Regency in 2025 using a Geographic Information System (GIS) approach. The study focuses on three main variables: population, population density, and population growth rate per sub-district. The author used the research method of collecting data and references that can later strengthen the results of this study and the application design using the waterfall model. Non-spatial data, namely data in the form of population information, was obtained from the Central Statistics Agency of Demak Regency, while spatial data is data related to regional administrative boundaries. Data processing was carried out using QGIS 2.18 through the stages of joining attributes, classification using the Natural Breaks (Jenks) method, and thematic map creation. The results show that population distribution is uneven. Demak Kota, Karangtengah, and Sayung sub-districts have the highest number and density, while coastal sub-districts such as Wedung and Bonang have low densities. The highest population growth rate is in Karangtengah sub-district at 0.8%. The application of GIS has proven effective in visualizing population distribution and supporting spatial-based regional development planning.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) are one of the rapidly growing Islamic educational institutions in Kendal Regency. This study aims to analyze how Islamic boarding schools are distributed in Kendal Regency from 2023 to 2024 using a Geographic Information System (GIS). This study uses a comparative descriptive method with data consisting of spatial data in the form of sub-district administrative maps and non-spatial data covering the number of Islamic boarding schools, students, and teachers. The non-spatial data comes from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Kendal Regency. To process the data, the QGIS application is used. Spatial and non-spatial data are combined in the attribute merging process, then converted into a thematic map. The results show a decrease in the number of Islamic boarding schools from 147 in 2023 to 118 in 2024, as well as an uneven decrease in the number of students and teachers in each sub-district. The resulting thematic map is able to clearly and informatively show differences in the distribution of Islamic boarding schools.
