Abstract

Pneumonia is a serious problem in dense urban areas, especially in Jakarta. This article discusses the mapping of pneumonia sufferers and their relationship with environmental factors in Jakarta. Non-spatial data involves information about pneumonia sufferers, Air Quality Index (IKU), Water Quality Index (IKA), Land Cover Quality Index (IKTL), and the number of macro industries. It is hoped that the mapping results will provide in-depth insight into disease distribution patterns and environmental factors that have the potential to influence the spread of pneumonia. By understanding the environmental factors that play a role, it is hoped that it can help develop effective prevention strategies to deal with the spread of pneumonia.

Abstract

Telecomunications plays in important role in everyday life, and signal crisis is a major challenge in many parts of Indonesia. This study aims to create a detailed map of areas effected by the signal and internet traffic crisis using a Geographic Information System (GIS) based approach. The study includes data collection of communication signals and their determinations from various regions, providing a comprehensive picture of the network situation in Indonesia. A GIS analysis approach was used to create a map of the distribution of signal crisis areas, allowing the identification of spatial patterns that may be the root cause of this problem. The study focused on the geographical structure, signal interference and mobile internet data usage in each household as factors to consider when investigating the causal factors. The results show that there is a significant relationship between certain factors and crisis signaling. An in-depth understanding of the spatial data and causes of the signaling crisis is the basis for developing more effective improvement strategies. The practical implications of this study include recommendations for improved telecommunications infrastructure and better mitigation strategies. Therefore, this study not only presents the problem but also provides detailed insights to guide policies and measures needed to improve the quality of telecommunication services in Indonesia.

Abstract

The city of Bogor, located in an area that is vulnerable to various natural disasters, often faces serious challenges such as floods, landslides and fires. Flooding is mainly triggered by high rainfall and the city's contoured topography, resulting in waterlogging in several areas. Landslides, caused by the steep mountain slopes around Bogor, are a constant threat, damaging settlements and the city's infrastructure. Fires, whether caused by natural factors or human negligence, threaten the safety of citizens and cities. These disasters had a significant impact on the daily lives of Bogor residents, causing material losses, destroying infrastructure and harming the local economy. Therefore, serious efforts are needed in disaster mitigation planning, including early warning systems, development of disaster-resistant infrastructure, and public awareness to increase preparedness in facing the threat of disasters that often arise in this city. Collaborative efforts between the government, research institutions and the community are key in creating a safer and more sustainable environment in the city of Bogor

Abstract

Abstrak. The use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in mapping and analyzing the distribution of students and universities in Brebes Regency is an important need in educational development. This research aims to utilize the advantages of GIS in describing the spatial distribution of students and universities, as well as to carry out analysis related to geographic and demographic aspects. This research methodology involves collecting spatial and non-spatial data sourced from brebeskab.go.id. The data was then analyzed and modeled using Quantum Gis software, creating thematic maps that visualize the distribution of students and universities using spatial data. The research results show that GIS can provide a deeper understanding of the distribution of students and the location of universities. This analysis not only includes spatial aspects, but also involves demographic analysis to understand the characteristics of student distribution in each sub-district. The use of GIS in mapping and analyzing the distribution of students and universities provides valuable information for better decision making for local governments to develop education in the region.

Abstract

Population growth in Central Java is increasing motorbike ownership, causing traffic problems, air pollution and accidents. The lack of an integrated information system regarding the relationship between the number of motorbikes and accident rates is a major obstacle. This research applies a Geographic Information System (GIS) with the Waterfall system development method. The result is a web-based GIS implementation that maps the number of motorbikes and accident rates in one interactive map. This GIS is expected to overcome limitations in access to accurate data and provide an in-depth view of the impact of the number of motorbikes on traffic accidents in the region. This research is an important basis for decision making and policy design to improve traffic safety in Central Java

Abstract

Growth of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) has become one of the important indicators in measuring the economic progress of a region. The research is aimed at conducting an analysis of the spread of UMKM in Semarang City using the Geographical Information System (GIS). This method allows the integration of geographical data with UMKM information, so that it can provide a more comprehensive picture of the number of UMK in different regions in semarang City. The Geographic Information System is used to mapp and analyze the patterns of the distribution of UMKL in Semang City. This study uses data that covers the location of the UMKM, and the number. The spatial analysis will provide insight into the diversity of UMM in different districts or regions. This Geographic Information System approach makes an important contribution to data visualization and interpretation

Abstract

Diarrhea is a disease of major concern throughout the world. Diarrhea is still a big problem for public health in developing countries, including Indonesia. Tegal Regency itself is also facing cases of this diarrheal disease, it can be seen from the data that cases in Tegal Regency District have decreased from 2020 to 2022. Margasari District shows that the number of cases in 2020 was 1481 and experienced a decrease in 2021 to 2022 by 1208 (2021) and 1131 (2022). Meanwhile, Slawi District itself recorded a rise and fall in the number of diarrhea cases. This needs to be highlighted to improve prevention programs so that diarrheal disease does not continue to increase. Research methods are processes or steps for collecting scientific information. This research focuses more on spatial analysis of the maps created and cartographic aspects. The data collection method in this research uses secondary data from BPS Tegal Regency. This data will be entered into Quantum GIS software to obtain a map image that shows the desired information. The Geographic Information System approach can provide information about the factors and causes of diarrheal disease. It is necessary to collaborate between various sectors to provide health services for the community and increase awareness of the increase in cases of diarrhea in work areas that are far from the reach of services. In this way, it is hoped that it can reduce the incidence of diarrheal disease in Tegal Regency and improve overall public health

Abstract

The development of information technology, especially Geographic Information Systems (GIS), has made a significant contribution to improving tourism services in various regions. This research aims to analyze the level of user satisfaction with the GIS-based Pati Regency Tourism Interactive Map Application. The research method was carried out through collecting survey data from application users which involved respondents from various levels of society. This application is designed to provide comprehensive and up-to-date information regarding tourism destinations, facilities and travel routes in Pati Regency. Users can take advantage of interactive features to plan tourist trips more efficiently. Using questionnaires and interviews, this research evaluates user satisfaction with the user interface, information availability, data accuracy, and ease of use of the application.

Abstract

Geographic Information System (GIS) is a computer information system used to process and store spatial data or information. The aim of this research is to produce a geographic information system that maps the number of vehicles in Central Java Province from 2019 to 2021. The method used in this research involves collecting vehicle census data from related sources such as Central Java Province. . Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and spatial data as well as the number of vehicles from 2019 to 2021 in Regencies or Cities in Central Java Province. Digitalization of Mapping using Quantum GIS software. The results of this research are expected to provide a better understanding of vehicle distribution and volume trends vehicles in Central Java Province from 2019 to 2021. This information can be used for various purposes such as traffic planning, infrastructure development and reducing traffic congestion. The geographic information system that maps the number of vehicles in Central Java Province is expected to provide significant benefits for the government, researchers and the general public to make better decisions regarding traffic and traffic problems in the region.

Abstract

Keberhasilan tingkat kelulusan untuk semua tingkat pendidikan, mulai dari SD hingga SMA, adalah indikator yang baik untuk pencapaian pendidikan di Indonesia. Perlu perhatian lebih pemerintah terhadap pendidikan terkhususnya SMA, agar dapat terlaksananya cita-cita bangsa, yaitu menuju wajib 12 tahun belajar. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan research and development menggunakan Software Quantum GIS. Variabel yang diteliti adalah tingkat penyelesaian pendidikan jenjang SMA pada 34 provinsi di Indonesia mulai tahun 2020-2022. Sumber data sekunder dari Badan Pusat Statistik. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif. Berdasarkan penelitian, diperoleh pemetaan pada periode 2020 hingga 2022 mengungkapkan variasi signifikan dalam pencapaian pendidikan di tingkat regional. Sebagian besar provinsi menunjukkan tingkat penyelesaian pendidikan di atas 60%, menandakan perlunya perbaikan. DKI Jakarta dan DI Yogyakarta mencatat tingkat penyelesaian tertinggi di atas 80%, sementara Papua dan Nusa Tenggara Timur menghadapi tantangan serius.
