Abstract

he spread of HIV remains a significant public health issue globally, including in Indonesia. This study focuses on mapping the prevalence of HIV in the districts of Solo City from 2021 to 2023 using Geographic Information System (GIS) technology. Employing QGIS software, spatial analysis was conducted to create thematic maps showcasing the annual distribution of HIV prevalence across districts. The findings reveal a consistent increase in HIV prevalence over the three years, with Banjarsari and Jebres districts recording the highest rates. This spatial distribution correlates strongly with population density and urbanization levels. The study emphasizes the importance of targeted interventions, including regular health screenings, education programs, and equitable healthcare access to curb the spread of HIV in high-risk areas. The results serve as a scientific foundation for policymakers to enhance HIV prevention and management strategies.

Abstract

Accurate data processing is essential for classifying toddler nutritional status on a website platform. The Random Forest algorithm is particularly effective in this context due to its ability to manage large datasets and mitigate overfitting. This study leverages Flask as the web framework to ensure responsiveness and adaptability, optimizing the data processing experience for users. Using secondary data comprising 120,999 records, the research aims to answer: "What factors affect the accuracy of the Random Forest model in classifying toddler nutritional status?" Model evaluation yielded excellent performance metrics, with accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score values of 99.91%, 100%, 100%, and 100%, respectively. These results highlight the informative attributes in the dataset, such as age, gender, and height, that enhance classification accuracy. The Flask-based website enables users, such as healthcare professionals and policymakers, to input essential data points and receive instant classification results, thereby supporting prompt and informed responses to nutritional health issues. This study confirms that the Random Forest algorithm, combined with an intuitive web interface, effectively classifies toddler nutritional status with high accuracy.

Abstract

This study aims to utilize QGIS as a spatial analysis tool to map the distribution of divorces based on economic factors and disputes in Surakarta City during the 2020–2023 period. The data used includes spatial data in the form of Surakarta City's administrative map in shapefile format and non-spatial data comprising the number of divorces obtained from BPS Surakarta. Non-spatial data were integrated into spatial data using the "join attribute" feature in QGIS. The analysis process was conducted using classification methods to identify areas with the highest divorce density. The findings reveal that divorces due to economic factors are concentrated in low-income areas, such as Banjarsari and Jebres, while divorces caused by disputes exhibit a more evenly distributed pattern. The thematic maps were then exported into GeoJSON format for implementation on an interactive website accessible to the public and policymakers. This study contributes to the utilization of GIS technology in supporting data-driven decision-making.

Abstract

Kesulitan dalam berkomunikasi merupakan hambatan bagi teman tuli yang tidak bisa mempelajari bahasa secara lisan atau memperoleh kemampuan bicara yang biasa. Pengembangan teknologi pengenalan gestur bahasa isyarat merupakan langkah penting untuk meningkatkan aksesibilitas dan integrasi sosial bagi komunitas tuli. Penggunaan MediaPipe Holistic Keypoints dan teknik deep learning memberikan potensi yang signifikan dalam mengenali dan memahami gestur bahasa isyarat. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah mengklasifikasikan gestur Bahasa Isyarat Indonesia (BISINDO) menggunakan MediaPipe Holistic Keypoints dan pendekatan deep learning untuk mengidentifikasi kata dasar dalam bahasa isyarat. Dengan ekstraksi fitur menggunakan mediapipe holistic dan mengirimnya ke model LSTM 6 hidden layer dengan 70:30 split train test dan 250 epoch dihasilkan akurasi 68 %. Hal ini dikarenakan terbatasnya jumlah dataset yang diambil untuk penelitian.

Abstract

Jagung merupakan komoditas pokok selain padi yang menjadi target dalam memenuhi program swasembada pangan di Indonesia. Kabupaten Kendal merupakan daerah di provinsi Jawa Tengah yang menghasilkan produksi dari tanaman jagung, namun jumlah produksi jagung di Kabupaten Kendal belum di ketahui pemetaannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode tinjauan pustaka untuk mengumpulkan data dari referensi dan sumber lain yang mendukung. Penggunaan data spasial dan data non spasial yang di integrasikan kedalam table shapefile di QGIS yang selanjutnya dapat di ekspor ke dalam sebuah web. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk membangun sebuah sistem informasi geografis (SIG) berbasis web untuk menyajikan informasi mengenai pemetaan luas area panen terhadap jumlah produksi jagung di Kabupaten Kendal dengan visual yang membuat nyaman pengguna. Dari penelitian ini didapatkan sebuah sistem informasi geografis berbasis web dengan fitur peta, tabel data, grafik batang serta informasi yang relevan untuk sistem informasi geografis pemetaan jumlah produksi jagung terhadap luas panen di Kabupaten Kendal yang interaktif sehingga dapat memudahkan pengguna dalam memahami informasi yang disajikan. Website ini dapat menjadi salah satu referensi bagi pihak berwenang dalam mengalokasikan sumber daya untuk meningkatkan produksi jagung di Kabupaten Kendal guna memenuhi program swasembada pangan.

Abstract

Coconut fruit holds high economic value as it can be utilized for various products and significantly contributes to the local economy. This research aims to develop a Geographic Information System (GIS) to map land area and coconut production in Kendal Regency in 2023 as a foundation for more efficient resource management. By integrating spatial and non-spatial data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), this GIS visualizes the spatial distribution of coconut plantations and identifies production variations among sub-districts. The analysis reveals that Patebon Sub-district has the highest coconut production, while Cepiring Sub-district, despite having the largest land area, records relatively low production. Mapping was conducted using Quantum GIS (QGIS) software, allowing for accurate and efficient data digitization. This GIS output holds significant potential to support spatial planning, data-driven policy formulation, and the improvement of coconut farmers' welfare in Kendal Regency. The implementation of the map on a web-based platform facilitates public access to the presented spatial information.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on various aspects of life, including an increase in cases of drug abuse. This research aims to design a Geographic Information System (GIS) that is capable of accurately and visually mapping the distribution of drug users in the Java Island region after the pandemic. It is hoped that this GIS can become a tool for policy makers, law enforcers and other related parties in efforts to prevent and overcome drug problems. The methods used in this research include collecting non-spatial data analysis and spatial data analysis, as well as designing a web-based system. The data used includes demographic data as well as data on drug abuse cases. Spatial analysis was carried out to identify distribution patterns of drug users and the factors that influence them. The results of this research are a web-based information system that is capable of displaying interactive maps of the distribution of drug users, as well as providing various spatial analysis features It is hoped that this GIS can make a significant contribution in efforts to reduce the number of drug abuse on the island of Java by providing accurate and up-to-date information regarding the situation in the field.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the distribution of drug rehabilitation patients in Central Java during 2023 to 2024. The data used is secondary data obtained from various rehabilitation institutions and related health agencies. Geographic distribution mapping was conducted to identify the distribution pattern of patients based on factors such as geographic location, age, gender, and type of drug used. The results showed a significant variation in the distribution of patients, which can be the basis for developing more effective and targeted rehabilitation policies.

Abstract

Difficulty in communication is an obstacle for deaf friends who cannot learn the language orally or acquire normal speech skills. The development of sign language gesture recognition technology is an important step to improve accessibility and social integration for the deaf community. The use of MediaPipe Holistic Keypoints and deep learning techniques provides significant potential in recognizing and understanding sign language gestures. The main objective of this study is to classify Indonesian Sign Language (BISINDO) gestures using MediaPipe Holistic Keypoints and a deep learning approach to identify basic words in sign language. By extracting features using mediapipe holistic and sending them to the LSTM 6 hidden layer model with 70:30 split train test and 250 epochs, an accuracy of 68% was produced. This is due to the limited number of datasets taken for the study.

Abstract

In the digital era, sentiment analysis plays a strategic role in understanding customer perceptions of products and services. This research aims to analyze customer review sentiment on the Lazada platform through the application of text processing techniques and machine learning algorithms. Data is taken from product reviews on the platform, which then undergoes a preprocessing stage, including tokenization, stopword removal, and stemming using the Sastrawi algorithm. Next, sentiment classification was performed using a Support Vector Machine optimized through the Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) method. The research results showed that the combination of the Sastrawi stemmer method and SVM-PSO was able to achieve significant accuracy, namely 90.57%, an increase of 6.24% compared to previous research. These findings provide deep insights into customer perceptions and offer valuable guidance for decision-makers at Lazada in improving service quality and customer satisfaction. This study also underscores the importance of applying Natural Language Processing techniques and machine learning algorithms in sentiment analysis on e-commerce platforms, which have proven to produce more accurate outputs.
