Abstract

Science learning concepts are organized logically and systematically from the simplest to the most complex concepts. Students experience difficulties in solving word problems. Word problems have an important role and are often used to assess students' ability to solve problems in questions. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the problem solving method and the question and answer method in overcoming students' difficulties in understanding the concept of story questions. The research method uses quantitative methods with one group pretest posttest. The sample in the study was 30 people. The research results obtained that the problem solving method and question and answer method both have a significant value of 0.000 <0.005. So that it can be said that the two methods have a significant influence in efforts to overcome students' difficulties in understanding the concept of word problems.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dukungan orang tua, harga diri, pengenalan peluang, dan jejaring terhadap niat berwirausaha di kalangan manajemen mahasiswa di Kota Bandung, Indonesia. Penelitian menggunakan desain survei kuantitatif dan mengumpulkan data dari 384 peserta manajemen mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengenalan peluang dan jejaring berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap intensi berwirausaha, sedangkan dukungan orang tua dan harga diri tidak berpengaruh signifikan. Temuan ini memiliki implikasi penting untuk mempromosikan kewirausahaan di kalangan manajemen mahasiswa di Indonesia, dengan fokus pada pengembangan pengenalan peluang dan keterampilan berjejaring.

Abstract

Writing ability is an ability that refers to the notion of knowledge and understanding of writing. Judging from language skills, writing is an active productive activity, namely the activity of producing language and writing activity is also a form of realization of abilities and skills in the most recent language mastered by language learners after listening, speaking, and reading skills. Seeing the importance of this writing skill, the purpose of this study is to see the effectiveness of the CLT method in improving students' descriptive text writing skills. In its application, the researcher used CAR. In this study there were 20 students of SMA PGRI Kalabahi in the academic year 2022/2023. The data of this study were obtained from students' writing tests. As a result of the research, the CLT method has a significant impact on students' writing ability. In addition, the supporting factors of learning success include the use of props to write descriptive text and the teacher's proficiency in applying the contextual approach. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors were students' lack of knowledge about descriptive text, their lack of ability and enthusiasm in stringing words to create descriptive text, students' low interest in descriptive text writing activities, as well as students' enthusiasm and unsupportive play environment. The application of contextual approach was able to develop students' descriptive text writing ability seen from the results of students' descriptive text writing, students' interest and response in following the learning of descriptive text writing by using contextual teaching and learning method.

Abstract

The implementation of islamic school cultural policies in accordance with Qanun Aceh Number 11 of 2014 is still not fully implemented optimally. The school residents have not been able to understand and translate the school culture according to Qanun and only describe according to their perspective; lack of socialization regarding the implementation of Qanun education in Aceh; and school culture is limited to the use of Islamic symbols in the school environment. The purpose of this study is to get an overview of the potential implementation of Islamic school cultural policies in accordance with the Qanun Aceh level. The research method uses qualitative with a case study design. The results showed that the embodiment of Islamic school culture can be seen from the value of excellence, namely the superior program of Tahfizh Al Qur'an and the teacher capacity building program. The value of responsibility by practicing the principles of Islamic teachings, cooperating in terms of kindness, commitment, integrity, tolerance, and realizing rights and obligations.

Abstract

The batik business is engaged by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). In marketing products, there are still MSMEs that use word of mouth (WOMM) in marketing techniques and use WhatsApp communication. Media such as SMEs in the field of batik weaving fashion Muhibbuddiana. This service activity is intended to assist in the use of Instagram in marketing and selling products online, from creating Instagram accounts and product documentation to posting content, as well as analyzing Instagram insights to find out the most popular posts, follower and non-follower interactions, and increase in the number of followers. The activity results show the effect of the ease of using social media on promotion and sales, the impact of using social media to increase sales turnover, and the importance of understanding Instagram insight for customer segmentation.
