Abstract

Problems that arise when acquiring equipment and pharmaceuticals include procurement delays caused by waiting for genuine data from the storage area, as well as surplus stock of various types of drugs. This is due to the fact that administrative documents are still kept in the traditional manner. In this article, we provide forecasting tool and medicine stock based on the demand ratio in order to overcome stock delays and surplus stock. Because of the needs (in the month of forecasting carried out and the amount of data held), single exponential smoothing with alpha 0.1 is utilized. The prediction findings are also considered accurate because the forecasting smoothing computation with an average error value of MAD (21,4), MSE (710,4), and MAPE (7%) was assessed as very good.

Abstract

The most important thing for companies is to hire new people who have the skills and qualities needed for the job or acceptance offered. The ability of a company to run well depends a lot on the quality of its employees. The issue of hiring people and getting the finest applicants can be overcome with the aid of decision-making procedures. In a recruitment process, there are many selection mechanisms in businesses with varying criteria. In this study, decision-makers are selecting candidates for employment based on specified criteria, including an intelligence test (C1), an interview test (C2), a test of skills and abilities (C3), an assessment of attitudes and behaviors (C4), and work experience (C5). The calculating approach employs the Preference Selection Index (PSI) method because it can be applied to situations with multiple criteria and attributes and does not require the decision maker to calculate the weights of the criterion. The 3 best option candidates for the employees with the greatest PSI value, which is PSI = 0.88186, are determined by the results of the final PSI method computation from 5 alternatives.

Abstract

This Community Service activity involved farmer groups and the Family Welfare Development Organization (PKK) in Sungai Rasau Village. There is plenty of potential for the production of coconut plantations in the village, but the business of differentiating coconut into cooking oil is of little interest to the community. Low interest is due to relatively limited knowledge and understanding of the economic potential of cooking oil products, especially market uptake. Efforts can be made to increase the added value of cooking oil products. This program aimed to increase the added value of cooking oil products to improve market uptake. Accordingly, the direct learning method was used in this service program, and its activities included training and mentoring. The results of the service program showed that the program that had been implemented generated new enthusiasm for Farmer Groups and PKK. Also, the trademark “MIKOM” was used as branding for coconut cooking oil products from Sungai Rasau Village, accompanied by an attractive offer sentence as a form of online promotion of traditional coconut cooking oil products. Differences in methods and production costs incurred as well as adjustments to the latest costs due to the increase in fuel, became an obstacle for training participants to calculate product selling prices. The participants poorly understood the information technology training because the village lacked sufficient Internet access. Farmer groups carried out the marketing simulation for coconut cooking oil as producers of coconut cooking oil, while the PKK acted as marketing field coordinator.

Abstract

Singkawang City is a major vegetable producer with significant trade potential. Opportunities for processing vegetables into dried products in Singkawang City are still open and prospective. Vegetable chips can be used as souvenir products for tourists who stop by in Singkawang. The prospect of vegetable chips has not yet been well captured by the farmers of Roban Village. The community service activity (PPM) was done to educate and socialize about diversifying horticultural processed products) to the Roban villagers. This activity was attended by 13 participants who were members of women farmers and Family Empowerment and Welfare (PKK) Movement, using the lecture method followed by demonstrations of spinner usage. In this activity, spinner was also distributed. Monitoring and evaluation of activities is carried out throughout the activity through two-way discussions, pretest and posttest. Referring to the results of the pretest and posttest, the level of public understanding of entrepreneurship, marketing management as well as how to package the chips, indicate improvement.
