Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the method total physical response on the new standard vocabulary of Indonesian in use by students in class II in Naikoten 2 Public Elementary School, Kupang City. This research uses a randomized pretest-posttest control group in a true experiment design. All students at SDN Naikoten 2 made up the population of this study, and all students in classes II-A (the control class) and II-B made up the sample (experimental class). For the purpose of this study, documentation, tests, and observations are used as data gathering methods. Using the Wilcoxon formula in the SPSS version 21 application, the hypothesis was tested, and if Asymp.Sig.(2-tailed) 0.05, H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted based on the analysis results.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in learning about theme 6, sub-theme 3 and learning-1 with the Project Based Learning model. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with stages namely: Planning, Implementation, Observation and Reflection. This research took place at GMIT Baumata Elementary School, Kupang Regency, with the research subjects being all fourth grade students at GMIT Baumat Elementary School, Kupang Regency, totaling 14 people. The data collection techniques used by researchers in conducting research include observation techniques, test techniques, and documentation techniques. The results of this study indicate that the learning outcomes of students through the use of the Project Based Learning learning model have improved well. This can be proven by the achievement of the average learning completeness of class IV students, which totaled 14 people, namely in the first cycle the percentage of completeness was 71.43% (10 people who completed) and in the second cycle the percentage of completeness was 100% (14 people who completed). The increase in student learning outcomes is seen from the increase in the average score of evaluation test work. The other increase that occurred was in the activeness of students in the class which was assessed using the observation sheet that had been provided by the researcher. From the results of the research above, researchers can conclude that the use of Project Based Learning learning models can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Literacy skills need to be possessed by every individual in order to compete in an increasingly fierce global competition. Therefore, it is necessary to pay special attention to schools in developing students' literacy skills. The purpose of this service is to develop literacy guidebooks for elementary school teachers to support the development of student literacy. The development is carried out by applying the Four-D model which includes Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. Disseminate conducted limited to teachers of SD Inpres Bertingkat Perumnas 3 Kupang City. Expert tests were conducted on two expert lecturers. The validation results show that the literacy guidebook is valid and suitable for use by teachers. Keywords: Elementary School, Literacy, and Literacy Guide.

Abstract

AbstrakKeterampilan menulis ilmiah dalam bentuk PTK memberikan kesempatan guru untuk merefleksikan kembali proses pembelajaran yang selama ini dilaksanakan. Kurangnya pemahaman guru tentang konsep dan prosedur penulisan proposal PTK menjadi masalah yang wajib diperbaiki. Pelatihan dan pendampingan merupakan salah satu cara meningkatkan keterampilan menulis. Metode kegiatan PkM ini menggunakan metode Drill. Tahap pertama berupa kegiatan pembinaan dalam bentuk pelatihan, tahap kedua pembinaan berbentuk pendampingan, dilakukan intensif selama 3 hari. Luaran dari kegiatan PkM yakni produk tulisan ilmiah berupa Proposal PTK yang disusun oleh kelompok guru SDN Balfai Penfui Timur. AbstractScientific writing skills in the form of PTK provide an opportunity for teachers to reflect back on the learning process that has been implemented so far. The teacher's lack of understanding of the concepts and procedures for writing PTK proposals is a problem that must be corrected. Training and mentoring are one way to improve writing skills. This PkM activity method uses the Drill method. The first stage is in the form of coaching activities in the form of training, the second stage is coaching in the form of mentoring, carried out intensively for 3 days. The output of PkM activities is a scientific writing product in the form of a PTK Proposal compiled by a group of teachers at SDN Balfai Penfui Timur.

Abstract

The application of technology in learning is a must for teachers to respond to the challenges of changing times. The implementation of digital literacy training and assistance for elementary school teachers in the city of Atambua aims to train teachers in developing learning media and Quiz with Canva and Kahoot. The participants in this activity were 30 elementary school teachers spread across the city of Atambua. The result of this activity is an increase in teachers' skills in using Canva and Kahoot in developing learning media and quizzes for elementary school students as well as producing learning media products and practice questions in the form of quizzes.

Abstract

AbstrakPerumusan indikator dan tujuan pembelajaran merupakan suatu permasalahan klasik yang dihadapi oleh guru terkhususnya dalam menetapkan kata kerja operasional. Dengan adanya alat bantu berupa aplikasi Kamus KKO berbasis android yang dijalankan secara offline dan online sangat membatu guru di SDI Lasiana Kota Kupang dalam memangkas waktu perumusan indikator dan tujuan pembelajaran secara tepat sesuai dengan level pada setiap ranah. Sebanyak 66% guru merasa sangat puas dengan aplikasi Kamus KKO dan sebanyak 80% guru menyakatan aplikasi Kamus KKO sangat praktis digunakan. Kata Kunci : Kamus KKO, Indikator, Tujuan Pembelajaran AbtsractFormulating indicators and learning objectives is a classic problem faced by teachers, especially in determining operational verbs. With the existence of tools in the form of an Android-based Kamus KKO application that can be run offline and online, it really helps teachers at SDI Lasiana, Kupang City in reducing the time for formulating indicators and learning objectives appropriately according to the level in each domain. As many as 66% of teachers were very satisfied with the Kamus KKO application and as many as 80% of teachers said the KKO Dictionary application was very practical to use. Abstract

AbstrakPenulisan karya Ilmiah merupakan salah satu kegiatan Ilmiah yang menuntut seseorang untuk menyelesaikan suatu masalah dengan langkah-langkah yang terukur dan objektif dengan didasarkan pada suatu metode Ilmiah tertentu. Pelatihan pendampingan penulisan karya Ilmiah bagi guru-guru SMA Negeri 2 Kota Kupang yang dilakukan dengan penguatan guru-guru tentang konsep dan teori yang berkaitan dengan karya Ilmiah, serta teknis dan praktik penyusunannya. Sehingga memungkinkan guru-guru dalam membimbing dan mengarahkan siswa kelas XII dalam menyusun karya Ilmiah sebagai syarat kelulusan. Pada pelatihan ini juga dihasilkan salah satu kerangka baku sebagai panduan dalam menyusun karya Ilmiah. Kata Kunci: Pelatihan, Pendampingan, Penyusunan Karya Ilmiah. AbstractWriting scientific work is a scientific activity that requires someone to solve a problem using measurable and objective steps based on a certain scientific method. Training to assist in writing scientific works for teachers at SMA Negeri 2 Kupang City which was carried out by strengthening teachers regarding concepts and theories related to scientific works, as well as the technical and practical aspects of their preparation. This allows teachers to guide and direct class XII students in compiling scientific work as a graduation requirement. Abstract

This research was conducted to answer the problem of low student learning outcomes on photosynthesis material in class IV SDN Sikumana 2. Based on the results of initial observations, it is known that the learning process is dominated by the teacher and does not involve students actively. This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK) conducted in two cycles, with 20 students as the research subjects. Data collection techniques include observation of teacher and student activities, and learning outcomes tests. The results showed that the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model was able to significantly improve student learning outcomes, marked by an increase in the average score from 53.32 in cycle I to 81.05 in cycle II. The level of learning completeness also increased from 35% to 85%. From these results, it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model is effective in improving student learning outcomes on photosynthesis material. This model encourages students to be active, think critically, and work together in groups. The findings recommend that problem-based learning be integrated in IPAS subjects in elementary schools, accompanied by periodic teacher training to support the implementation. Abstract

Transformasi pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) di tingkat Sekolah Dasar (SD) menjadi krusial dalam menumbuhkan keterampilan sosial yang relevan dengan kebutuhan abad ke-21. Dalam konteks globalisasi dan masyarakat multikultural, pendidikan IPS tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai pengantar pengetahuan sosial, tetapi juga sebagai medium untuk membentuk sikap sosial, nilai toleransi, empati, dan kemampuan bekerja sama antarindividu dari latar belakang budaya yang berbeda. Artikel ini merupakan studi literatur yang bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana transformasi pembelajaran IPS SD mampu menumbuhkan keterampilan sosial abad ke-21 dengan pendekatan multikultural. Penelusuran dilakukan terhadap berbagai literatur dari jurnal nasional dan internasional yang relevan, dengan fokus pada strategi pembelajaran, model pendekatan multikultural, dan pengembangan keterampilan sosial seperti kolaborasi, komunikasi, dan kesadaran antarbudaya. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran IPS yang terintegrasi dengan pendekatan multikultural mampu menciptakan ruang dialog yang inklusif, meningkatkan kemampuan sosial emosional siswa, serta memperkuat karakter kebhinekaan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Transformasi ini perlu ditopang oleh inovasi kurikulum, pelatihan guru, dan penggunaan media pembelajaran yang adaptif terhadap keragaman. Dengan demikian, IPS SD tidak hanya menjadi mata pelajaran hafalan, melainkan wadah pembentukan warga negara global yang berempati dan berkeadaban.

Abstract

The digital transformation in education requires teachers to adapt technology-based learning approaches, one of which is deep learning. Deep learning, as a pedagogical approach, not only reflects advances in artificial intelligence technology but also represents a new paradigm in immersive learning that emphasizes active, reflective, and student-centered engagement. However, many elementary school teachers in border areas, such as Atambua City, still encounter challenges in designing teaching modules based on this approach. Therefore, this community service activity aims to provide training in the development of deep learning-based teaching modules to elementary school teachers in Atambua City. The implementation method included needs identification, workshops, hands-on practice, mentoring, and evaluation. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in the understanding of deep learning concepts and the ability of teachers to develop contextual and innovative teaching modules. Teachers also demonstrated high enthusiasm in implementing the training outcomes in their classrooms. This training had a positive impact on the quality of lesson planning, which focuses on developing critical thinking skills, collaboration, and student creativity. This activity is recommended for replication in other regions, especially those that are lagging behind in the use of technology-based learning approaches.
