The article was to find out how enthusiastic Pendidikan Jasmani Olahraga dan Kesehatan (PJOK) teachers in West Nias district about the process of implementing learning using the independent curriculum in 2023. The researchers used survey approach in quantitative descriptive investigations. The data collection method used questionnaire, and the data analysis used descriptive statistics with percentages. Quota sampling was used to determine the population in this study, which totaled 40 PJOK teachers in West Nias District. The number of samples was based on the number of people visited by the researchers of 40 PJOK teachers in West Nias District. The instrument used a reliability level of 0.975 which is relatively high. The result showed that the teachers with keywords have moderate perceptions of the implementation of independent curriculum learning in West Nias Regency in 2023. The results of distributing questionnaires at the SMP level in West Nias Regency have a percentage of 5% or 2 teachers have categories very positive, the percentage of 3% or 1 teacher has a positive category, the percentage of 80% or 32 teachers has a moderate category, the percentage of 12% or 5 teachers has a negative category and the percentage of 0% or 0 teachers has a very negative category. This indicates that the opinion of PJOK teachers regarding the implementation of learning using the independent curriculum at the West Nias District Middle School level in 2023 is in the moderate category, this can be seen from the highest percentage results which state that the percentage of 80% or 32 teachers is in the moderate category. This development research attempts to improve learning outcomes and sports science, especially physical fitness. The programme uses learning apps and instructional videos. In each face-to-face session, the learning app includes lecture explanations, videos of learning variations, fitness programme preparation, and other blended learning instructions. When researchers realised students needed an independent learning curriculum to complete the 20 SKS Thematic KKN programme off campus, they came up with this proposal. Help students access all Thematic KKN lectures. The quantitative research method leverages Sugiono's R D method to develop and evaluate items that meet goals. After this investigation, students' cognitive abilities, programme compilation capabilities, and fitness activity variants will be assessed. Three experts—two material and one media—will validate the Android-based learning medium in advance. 40% know the needs analysis, and experts' validation percentage. The average validation value with a bad category is 29%–46%. The small group test has 63% validity, according to expert review. The validation value is 47%–64%, which is good enough for the large group test stage following repair. With an outstanding category, application-based learning media for physical fitness activities is developed effectively and efficiently. The large group test has 94% validity, and the average validation score is 83% to 100%. The small group test of 16 Medan State University students of Physical Education, Sports, and Recreation had a score of 66% with a good category, and the large group test of 32 students had a score of 88% with a very good category. Thus, researchers can improve student learning results in physical fitness activity classes utilising an Android-based software.

This study seeks to investigate how to develop learning materials for volleyball game material for class XI students. This study employed research and development (RD) techniques, including large group tests for 30 class XI students and small group tests for 15 class XI students. For this study, questionnaires and questions were handed out to experts and students to gather data. Both qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques were utilised. The volleyball game material developed in class XI was validated by three experts - two media experts and one material expert. 43% of participants are familiar with needs analysis, whereas the average rating for validation falls within the unfavourable range of 29% to 46%. The small group test has a validity level of 59%, with the validation level suggesting that the average validation value falls between 47% and 64%, making it suitable for the large group testing phase. Validation tests for large groups typically yield results ranging from 83% to 100%, indicating successful development of learning media for volleyball game material in class XI, falling within the very good category, and proving to be efficient and effective. In a recent test, 65% of students in the small group of 15 scored in the "good" category, while 87% of students in the large group of 30 achieved the same. Ranked in the "excellent" category. Hence, it can be inferred that utilising an Android-based application can enhance student learning outcomes in volleyball game content.

This examination is advancement research that expects to configuration learning media that contains appraisals in hand to hand fighting contests, particularly combative techniques and particularly aiding the field of sports science, particularly in the field of refereeing and sports accomplishments in North Sumatra. An application that contains assessments in both legal and illegal pencak silat competitions is the form of the developed media. These assessments are presented in the form of videos and match scoring. Additionally, the application includes a useful assessment of fundamental martial arts and martial arts techniques for use in classes. This thought emerged when specialists wanted to expect to discover that was more viable and proficient, as well as valuable for selecting contender for combative techniques and hand to hand fighting officials. The distribution of training materials for martial arts referees can also benefit from this application, particularly in the field of refereeing. The information displayed in this study is a correlation of the viability of the learning model for every mark of the evaluation of the new learning model (in the wake of utilizing the application) more successful than the old learning model (prior to utilizing the application). The new learning model has an efficiency of 85.71 percent, while the old learning model has an efficiency of 60 percent. The old learning model's average effectiveness of implementation indicators was 50%, while the new model's average effectiveness was 70%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the new learning model is superior to the old learning model (previous to using a drill machine) after using a drill machine.

Timnas sepakbola Indonesia telah berhasil mencetak sejarah, setelah mengikuti event besar piala sepakbola asia sebanyak empat kali dan partisipasi Indonesia untuk yang kelima kalinya pada tahun 2023, barulah terciptanya sejarah baru Timnas sepakbola Indonesia berhasil menembus babak 16 besar Piala Asia. Keikutsertaan Timnas Indonesia di putaran final Piala Asia 2023 ini merupakan pertama kalinya Indonesia kembali bisa berkompetisi di ajang antarnegara Asia ini pada tahun 2007 silam, setelah 16 tahun terbenam dalam penantian panjang, karena tidak pernah lolos pada babak kualifikasi penyisihan Piala Asia. Lolosnya Tim Garuda ke fase knock-out tak lepas dari kehadiran Sin Tae Yong sebagai pelatih kepala Timnas Indonesia, pengalamannya yang luas dan pemahaman mendalam tentang permainan sepakbola membuatnya menjadi aset berharga bagi tim. Metode yang digunakan oleh peneliti dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif, melalui metode ini peneliti bisa mendeskripsikan analisis peranan pelatih terhadap motivasi pemain timnas sepakbola Indonesia dalam mencapai babak 16 besar Piala Asia 2023. Hasil penelitian, Shin Tae-yong telah berhasil membuat Timnas Skuad Garuda Indonesia mencapai target untuk lolos ke babak 16 besar, yang melebihi ekspektasi pencinta olahraga sepakbola di tanah air pada event terbesar Piala Asia 2023.Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah, semua hasil yang telah dicapai oleh Timnas Sepakbola Merah Putih Indonesia, tidak lepas dari prestasi tangan dingin dari seorang pelatih yang bernama Shin Tae-yong, berkat kepiawaiannya meracik strategi serta mampu memotivasi para pemain skuad Timnas Garuda, untuk tetap tenang dalam bermain dan bersabar dalam menjalani setiap pertadingan di Piala Asia 2023. The aim of this community service activity is to implement one of the tridharmas of higher education, and help manage the Namu Sira-Sira natural bathing tourist attraction, Durian Lingga Village, Sei Bingei District, Langkat Regency. The main problem faced by partners is that in managing this tourist attraction, there is no financial management, no cleanliness management of the tourist location, no banner plan for the tourist location. The output in this activity is 1). Managers have the ability to create simple financial reports 2). Availability of good and appropriate hygiene management and hygiene advice. 3). Articles published in online ISSN journals. 4). There are social media accounts that managers use to market tourist attractions. This activity was carried out in Durian Lingga Village, Sei Bingei District, Langkat Regency. This location is 55 km from Medan State University, a distance of 1 hour. This location was chosen because of the excellent tourism potential that can be developed for recreational sports, and can provide income for the surrounding community.

This study aims to develop game-based karate movement activities that can increase the effectiveness of training and active participation of Dojo Parulian 2 Medan members categorized as elementary schools aged 6 to 12 years. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) research method developed by Sugiyono. With eight stages, namely potential and problems, collecting data, product design, design validation, design revision, product trial, product revision, trial use. This research was conducted at dojo Parulian 2 Medan with a small scale trial of 10 people and a large scale trial of 15 people. Based on the results of data analysis, it shows that the product quality assessment "Development of game-based karate movement activities in dojo parulian 2 medan" from the initial stage to the final stage is included in the "very feasible" criteria. The results of the analysis of the use trial to students stated "Very Feasible" with the results of a small scale trial with a score of 83.33% and a large scale trial with a score of 88.54%. From the results of the usage trial assessment, it can be concluded that the development of game-based karate motion activities at the Parulian 2 Medan dojo is categorized as "Very Feasible" and researchers can produce products for the implementation of game-based karate motion activity development.

The purpose of this study was to measure the level of understanding of FIK UNIMED basketball UKM students of FIBA regulations in 2022. This research is descriptive with a quantitative approach, using a survey method and one variable, namely the level of understanding of the FIBA 2022 regulations, which is translated into three indicators: game rules, violations, and fouls. The research subjects were students who participated in extracurricular basketball, with the sampling technique using total sampling, resulting in 14 students as samples. Data were collected using research instruments in the form of multiple choice questions that had been validated by experts (expert judgment). Data analysis was carried out with descriptive statistics presented in percentage form. The results showed that the level of understanding of FIK UNIMED basketball UKM students about FIBA regulations in 2022 had an average of 24.21 which was included in the "Moderate" category. Details of the categorization results are as follows: "Very Low" category of 0%, "Low" category of 29% or 4 students, "Medium" category of 43% or 6 students, "High" category of 14% or 2 students, and "Very High" category of 14% or 2 students.

This study aims to analyze or determine whether the provision of project based learning (PJBL) model can improve student learning outcomes. The research method used is Classroom Action Research. The subjects of this study were grade VII students at SMP Negeri 3 Satu Atap Aek Natas with a total of 34 students, consisting of 14 male students and 20 female students. Based on the research conducted, the results of the study in cycle I were 20 students with a converted score of (58.82%) who had achieved the level of learning completion, while 14 students (41.18%) had not achieved the level of learning completion, with an overall average score of 69.83, while in cycle II, data was obtained from 30 students with a converted score of (88.24%) who had achieved completion in learning, while 4 students (11.76%) were still incomplete, with an average learning outcome score of 78.68. Based on the results of the test, there was an increase in the number of students who had achieved learning completion and met the Classical Completion Criteria, namely 85%. Based on the results of the data analysis, it can be concluded that the application of the Project Based Learning (PJBL) Learning model given by researchers to teachers and students has a positive impact and can improve the learning outcomes of volleyball passing at SMP Negeri 3 Satu Atap Aek Natas.
