Abstract

Abstrak. Penulisan paragraf berbasis lingkungan sehat siswa diperkenalkan berbagai jenis topik  lingkungan dan diberikan pelatihan cara menulis dengan merangkai berbagai kata, frase, dan kalimat sehingga menjadi sebuah paragraf. Setiap paragraf selalu ditekankan pentingnya kalimat topik dan diikuti kalimat penjelas. Paragraf tersusun baik secara deduktif maupun induktif. Metode yaitu melalui tahapan persiapan pengabdian dilakukan dengan  Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dengan   guru dan siswa di SMA Negeri 9 Gowa; menganalisis data yang diperoleh dari diskusi dengan siswa. Tim pengabdi perlu melakukan penyaringan dan sekaligus mengevaluasi informasi yang diperoleh, dan melakukan evaluasi. Hasil pengabdian, yaitu: (1) pelatihan menyusun paragraf secara manual beradasarkan gambar dan video tayangan ternyata siswa memiliki kesanggupan menuanggkan ide-ide dan gagasan sudah memadai. (2) pemanfaatan teknologi Pemeriksa Tata Bahasa dapat dipahami oleh peserta dan sekaligus dapat dipraktikkan dengan baik sehingga seluruh peserta pelatihan. Selanjutnya, hasil tulisan asli peserta sebelum menggunakan aplikasi terjadi perbedaan setelah menggunakan aplikasi Pemeriksa Tata Bahasa.  Kata Kunci: paragraf, deduktif, iduktif, lingkungan sehat, Pemeriksa Tata Bahasa

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk implikatur dalam novel Lontara karya Windy Joana. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian analisis implikatur. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik dokumentasi literatur seperti pembacaan dan pencatatan secara teliti. Dalam penelitian ini, data yang diperoleh merupakan bentuk implikatur konvensional dan implikatur konversasional (percakapan). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan pada jenis implikatur konvensional ditemukan 16 dalam bentuk narasi. Kemudian Pada jenis implikatur konversasional (percakapan) ditemukan 3 bentuk prinsip kerja sama yaitu, maksim kuantitas berjumlah 4, maksim kualitas berjumlah 1, dan maksim relevansi berjumlah 9. Penggunaan implikatur dalam novel digunakan untuk menyampaikan makna tambahan atau mendalam melalui tuturan atau percakapan tokoh secara tidak langsung. Implikatur dalam novel Lontara karya Windy Joana, mengandung makna Implisit di dalam tuturannya. Keberadaan implikatur ini mendorong minat peneliti untuk mengkaji bentuk implikatur konvensional dan implikatur konversasional (percakapan).Kata kunci: Implikatur, Novel, Implisit.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the perceptions of Indonesian Language and Literature Education students class of 2023 at Makassar State University regarding the use of ChatGPT technology in writing scientific papers. In this study, perception was measured through 6 indicators, namely: attitude, motivation, experience, expectations, goals and situation. The population in this study was 216 Indonesian Language and Literature Education students class of 2023, Makassar State University, a sample of 54 students taken using purposive sampling technique. This research uses a survey method, where the researcher describes the research data quantitatively through percentages and tables. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The research results show that Indonesian Language and Literature Education students have a positive perception of the benefits of ChatGPT in writing scientific papers. Of the 54 respondents, 42 respondents (77.8%) had a positive perception and 12 respondents (22.2%) had a negative perception. Thus, the perception of Indonesian Language and Literature Education students class of 2023 at Makassar State University regarding the benefits of ChatGPT in writing scientific papers can be categorized as good.

Abstract

This study is a qualitative study that aims to describe the types of directive speech acts in Gita Wirjawan's podcast episode "happiness and intelligence from a neuroscience perspective", and to describe the functions of directive speech acts in Gita Wirjawan's podcast episode "happiness and intelligence from a neuroscience perspective". This study is a type of qualitative research with a descriptive method. The data in the study are in the form of dialogues in Gita Wirjawan's YouTube podcast. The data in this study were collected through literature studies, documentation techniques and note-taking techniques. The results of this study indicate that there are five types of directive speech acts, namely: types of requests (requestives), types of questions (questions), permission (permissive) and advice (advisories), types of prohibite.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the types and meanings of comparative language styles contained in the novel If We Never Become Nothing by Alvi Syahrin. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The data is in the form of sentence quotes related to the use of language styles originating from novels. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and data verification, with data collection techniques namely reading, listening, and note-taking techniques with the researcher himself as the instrument. Meanwhile, the data validity technique uses theoretical triangulation techniques. Based on the results of this research, 4 types of comparative language styles were obtained in the novel If We Never Become Anything by Alvi Syahrin, which includes 18 comparative language styles of similes, 5 metaphors, 15 personifications, and 2 antithesis. data. The four types of comparative language styles are characterized by the use of comparative words (like, as, and as), figurative words, and words that contain two different ideas but are in the same sentence. Markers in this language style aim to provide a beautiful effect that can attract the interest of readers and provide an indirect message by using smoother and more beautiful language.

Abstract

Research on Diagnostic Assessment (DA) in remote schools in Indonesia is essential, as education in these areas has been a focus of the government attention for several decades and continues for future. This study provides an overview of teachers' readiness in implementing DA, particularly regarding their efficacy and self-perceptions. This study aims to describe teachers' confidence in conducting DA and their perceptions of its benefits for learning. Data were collected from 35 teachers with varying employment statuses and teaching experience using a questionnaire with linear-scale responses. The questionnaire measured efficacy across four aspects using twelve statements and perceptions across three aspects using nine statements. The questionnaire was distributed online via Google Forms. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and presented in frequency tables. The findings reveal that teachers in remote schools have a high level of confidence in their ability to implement DA, adapted to the conditions of underdeveloped areas. Teachers perceive DA as fundamentally effective in transforming learning conditions, although it has not yet provided optimal benefits in various related aspects. Its implementation is also considered to be insufficiently intensive. It is concluded that teachers in remote schools are capable of implementing DA and are concerned about the current suboptimal execution of DA. The findings of this study suggest that while teachers in remote areas are confident in their ability to implement DA, further support and resources are necessary to optimize its use. Enhancing training programs and increasing the intensity of DA application could contribute to more effective teaching and learning outcomes, especially in under-resourced and geographically isolated settings

Abstract

This study aims to elaborate on the use of grammatical cohesion student assignment. The research method is content analysis. Data source is the text contained in the student assignment Indonesian Language and Literature Education. The data in the form of grammatical cohesion. Data analysed with the method content analysis. The results showed that: first, the pronouns. The use of pronouns we and they are often used in stringing sentences students conducted again. Second, the substitution. Substitution that occurs in the tasks students are generally limited to the replacement of the word or group of words with pronouns. Third, the elepsis. Elepsis in student assignments sometimes occur due to the removal of appropriate words must be present in the sentence. Fourth, conjunctions. Conjunctions are used in student writing right there and some are not appropriate. This is caused by a lack of understanding of student use of conjunctions.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a major impact on society, such as job losses, rising staples, and economic hardship. Prices of food needs that continue to increase and are not affordable have resulted in food problems, one of which is protein. One of the high-quality protein is protein from fish. Fish as a fishery commodity that is relatively easy to cultivate on a large industrial scale and household scale for food self-sufficiency is catfish (Clarias sp). The purpose of this activity is to add insight and knowledge of the community about budikdamber for food self-sufficiency. The method of implementing community service activities in Kampung Six is carried out by counseling and training methods on Budikdamber. In this training activity, a bucket with 40 liters of water and 20 catfish seeds was used. Maintenance was carried out for 60 days with ad satiation feeding three times a day. Observations were made on growth, survival and water quality. The results of the activity found that 93% of the community partners had understood about Budikdamber. Budikdamber maintenance by partner communities gets an absolute weight growth value of catfish of 14 g, catfish survival value of 75%, and 1 bunch of kale per bucket. Based on the results of this activity, it is hoped that there will be the provision of special land for Budikdamber as an example for people who want to develop in their respective yards.
