Abstract

Dusun Tegalmulyo Cawas Klaten, Central Java, is one of the centers for producing striated weaving using Non-Machine Weaving Equipment (ATBM). ATBM, owned by craftsmen, is a legacy from their predecessors and has been running for decades, including Kreasi's partner and Lurik Weaving Craftsman "Lurik Mulyo." Producing the woven fabric requires five stages and is carried out manually: dyeing and evaporation of yarn, spinning, arranging motifs, weaving, and finishing. Partners currently do not have direct customers; sales presently being made are sales through middlemen. So that if there are no middlemen who order, then the two partners will not get income, especially in conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic like this. The two partners also have no bargaining value because the middleman determines the selling price. Therefore, the expansion of the marketing area with the direct selling method through a digital marketing platform is one of the solutions offered in this program. The next problem is the inefficient and effective production process because it is done manually and can encourage high production costs. Therefore, the service team offers a solution by applying environmentally friendly automatic spinner technology by combining energy sources from solar cells and household electricity sources. The non-academic outcomes that will be achieved through this program are an increase in spinning process capacity to double, which is then patented, an increase in turnover by 50%, and an increase in direct customers by 50%.

Abstract

Abstrak. Program Corporate Social Responsibility semakin marak dilakukan seiring dengan tingginya kesadaran perusahaan untuk berlaku etis dan transparan dalam menjalankan bisnisnya, sehingga beranggapan bahwa CSR bisa menjadi salah satu bentuk nyata tanggung jawab perusahaan. Tidak hanya melaksanakan kegiatan CSR, akan tetapi perlu juga untuk mengkomunikasikan program CSR kepada stakeholder karena selain bentuk transparansi juga mensosialisasikan program demi mewujudkan mutual understanding dengan seluruh stakeholder. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pelaksanaan program CSR dan komunikasi CSR perusahaan di dua negara yaitu Malaysia yang diwakili Delegation of the European Union to Malaysia dan perusahaan Indonesia yang diwakili oleh PT Holcim Indonesia Tbk Cilacap Plant Indonesia. Metode studi kasus digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan menimbang kedua negara memiliki kesamaan karakteristik kebudayaan dan teknik pengumpulan data akan dilakukan indepth interview. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan program CSR kedua perusahaan tersebut lebih banyak pada pemberdayaan masyarakat (community empowerment) dengan memberikan banyak workshop dan pendampingan dalam kebutuhan utama masyarakat di kesehatan, pendidikan, termasuk pemberian subsidi modal untuk peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat penerima manfaat. Kedua perusahaan juga melakukan kegiatan komunikasi kepada masyarakat penerima manfaat program dengan komunikasi dua arah (two way communication) dialogis antar perusahaan dan masyarakat. Bagi  Delegation of the European Union to Malaysia, CSR merupakan upaya perusahaan membangun masyarakat dan menciptakan visibilitas perusahaan. Sedangkan untuk perusahaan Indonesia, PT Holcim Indonesia Tbk Cilacap Plant Indonesia, menganggap CSR merupakan kontribusi tanggung jawab perusahaan dengan meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat dan secara tidak langsung akan berdampak positif untuk reputasi perusahaan.  Kata Kunci: Pelaksanaan, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Komunikasi Perusahaan  Abstract: The program of Corporate Social Responsibility is increasingly prevalent in line with the high awareness of the company to act ethically and transparently in carrying out its business, so that it is assumed that CSR can be a real form of corporate responsibility. Not only carrying out CSR activities, but also need to communicate CSR programs to stakeholders because in addition to the form of transparency also socialize the program in order to realize mutual understanding with all stakeholders. This study aims to explore the implementation of CSR programs and CSR communications of companies in two countries, represented by PT Holcim Indonesia Tbk Cilacap Plant Indonesia and the Delegation of the European Union to Malaysia. The case study method will be used in this study by considering the two countries have similar cultural characteristics and the technique of data collection will be conducted in an interview. The results showed that the implementation of CSR programs by the two companies was carried out by providing support in community development activities through capacity building in the form of training and mentoring in the fields of education, health and the environment and providing business capital assistance in the economy / MSME. In implementing the CSR program, the two companies also conduct communication activities to the beneficiaries of the program with dialogical two-way communication between companies and the community. For PT Holcim Indonesia Tbk Cilacap Plant Indonesia, CSR is a contribution of the company to realize public welfare and increase the company's positive reputation in the eyes of its stakeholders. As for the Delegation of the European Union to Malaysia, C SR is an effort by the company to build a community and create corporate visibility. Abstract

Aisyiyah is a Muhammadiyah women’s organization and has a mission to fight for a true Islamic society. This study aims to determine how organizational communication is carried out by the Aisyiyah Ngampilan Branch Manager (PCA) to create a true Islamic society in Ngampilan Village, Yogyakarta. The method used in this study is the mix-method to measure the effectiveness of organizational communication carried out. The results of the quantitative data test with Standard Deviation 1.96 show that downward communication is 2.213, up is 2.321, horizontal is 2.7801, and interline is 2.8011, which has a positive and significant effect on Organizational Communication in realizing true Muslims. PCA Ngampilan realizes true Islam through various social, educational, and religious activities, Business Charities, giving compensation. In addition, PCA Ngampilan prioritizes the persuasive communication of Hablumminannas, which prioritizes good relations and helping others, so that the Aisyiyah Organization is more readily accepted in the community.

Abstract

Indonesia terletak di wilayah rawan bencana dengan berbagai jenis bencana alam. Ketika bencana alam terjadi, komunikasi bencana yang efektif yang melibatkan teknologi komunikasi dan informasi menjadi hal penting yang harus dilakukan kepada masyarakat daerah terdampak bencana, hal ini mutlak dibutuhkan karena dibutuhkan pembaharuan informasi yang cepat, tepat, dan akurat (Budi, 2011:364). Pada saat bencana erupsi Merapi terjadi tahun 2018, di daerah Umbul Harjo Kepuh Harjo 7 Km dari Gunung Merapi, masyarakat Kepuh Harjo yang tergabung dalam Umbul Harjo Monitoring Merapi Community (UMMC) dengan sigap berada di garda depan berfungsi sebagai pemberi informasi memonitor langsung kondisi terkini Merapi dan hasilnya disampaikan kepada masyarakat sekitar dengan menggunakan media komunikasi HT. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan masyarakat peduli bencana Merapi berbasis komunitas UMMC. Metode yang diterapkan yakni dengan melakukan Focus Group Discussion (FGD), penyuluhan, dan hibah barang dalam mendukung kegiatan komunikasi bencana pada komunitas UMMC. Hasil yang didapatkan dari pengabdian ini yakni pertama FGD, yang bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi lebih mendetail terkait pengelolaan organisasi UMMC sebagai komunitas masyarakat peduli bencana Merapi dan kebutuhan mitra. Kedua, Penyuluhan dan Pelatihan Mitigasi Bencana. Ketiga pemberian hibah bantuan perlengkapan SAR UMMC ketika bertugas sebagai Tim Sar dalam pencarian dan pertolongan pada saat bencana merapi terjadi. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengabdian ini meningkatnya kesadaran pengetahuan dan pemahaman akan pentingnya mitigation, preparedness, response, dan recovery bencana sehingga masyarakat selalu siap ketika bencana Merapi terjadi dan berdampak pada minimnya korban jiwa.

Abstract

Pada masa pandemi covid-19 salah satu sektor yang mengalami dampak tertinggi yakni penurunan penjualan yang drastis yakni Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM), keterbatasan ruang penjualan tatap muka perlu digantikan dengan pemasaran secara digital. Tujuan pengabdian yang dilakukan yakni untuk memberikan pemberdayaan kepada UMKM Peyek Santoso Palemadi Sriharjo Imogiri Bantul Yogyakarta yang memproduksi peyek kacang dan teri yang belum memanfaatkan digital marketing dalam pemasarannya selama ini hanya melalui pemasaran langsung di rumah pribadinya dan pemasaran dari mulut ke mulut (worth of mouth). Selain itu Peyek Santoso belum memiliki kemasan yang menarik bagi konsumen. Di era pandemi covid-19 ini UMKM Peyek Santoso ini sangat dirasakan dampaknya dengan mengalami penurunan omzet sebesar 80%. Pengabdian ini telah berhasil memberikan solusi kepada UMKM Peyek Santoso diantaranya mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dengan memperbaiki sistem penjualan dan pengemasan; melaksanakan pelatihan Media Sosial Peyek Santoso dan pembuatan media promosi digital marketing Peyek Santoso. Adapun impact dari hasil tersebut yakni peningkatan pengetahuan dan penguasaan digital marketing 82% dan peningkaran kualitas produk berupa kemasan yang menarik bagi konsumen sebanyak 85%.

Abstract

When the Merapi eruption happened in 2010, members of the Disaster Risk Reduction Forum (FPRB) as well as disaster communicators in Sumber Village, Magelang Regency, still had limitations in using communication and information technology to carry out disaster mitigation. As a result, community-based disaster mitigation communication tools and training are required. This service will be implemented by providing training and assistance to participants on how to use cold lava communication monitoring tools. According to the findings, 85 percent of the participants improved their knowledge and skills in the area of community-based disaster communication. As a result of this service, the Sumber Village FPRB community now has a monitoring tool that can also be used as a disaster communication tool.

Abstract

Muballigh Hijrah merupakan salah satu bentuk pengembangan program pengabdian kepada masyarakar yang dilaksanakan oleh Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Tujuan pelaksanaan program Mubaligh Hijrah ini yaitu pemberdayaan masjid, amal usaha PRM (Pimpinan Ranting Muhammadiyah) dan PCM (Pimpinan Cabang Muhammadiyah) berbasis dakwah. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat melalui program Mubaligh Hijrah ini dilaksanakan di Masjid Al-Hilal Kulon Progo, TPA Darussalam Desa Grinting, dan Masjid Al-Islam Desa Grinting Kec. Bulakamba Kab. Brebes. Program pengabdian ini dilaksankaan pada bulan februari 2021. Metode Pelaksanaannya adalah praktek, taking video, perlombaan, motivasi dan semarak ramadhan. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah (1) memaksimalkan pemanfaatan radio komunitas maupun aplikasi audio streaming sebagai sarana pembelajaran. (2) Meningkatkan semangat belajar siswa melalui perlombaan. (3) Memusatkan kegiatan masyarakat di masjid khususnya pada Bulan Ramadhan. Simpulannya adalah program pengabdian ini dapat dirasakan manfaatnya oleh masyarakat dan siswa pada pelaksanaan pembelajaran melalui platform Anchor.FM.  Muballigh Hijrah is a form of community service program development carried out by the University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. The purpose of implementing the Mubaligh Hijrah program is to empower mosques, PRM (Pimpinan Branch Muhammadiyah) and PCM (Pimpinan Branch Muhammadiyah) businesses based on da'wah. Community service through the Hijrah missionary program was carried out at the Al-Hilal Mosque in Kulon Progo, Darussalam TPA Grinting Village, and Al-Islam Mosque Grinting Village, Kec. Bulakamba Kab. Brebes. This service program will be held in February 2021. The implementation method is practice, video taking, competitions, motivation and the splendour of Ramadan. The results of this community service activity are (1) maximizing the use of community radio and audio streaming applications as a learning tool. (2) Increasing students' enthusiasm for learning through competitions. (3) Concentrating community activities in the mosque, especially during Ramadan. The conclusion is that this community service program can benefit the community and students in implementing learning through the Anchor.FM platform.

Abstract

Karti Aji Toglengan is an MSME engaged in woven bamboo craftsmen who were economically affected during the Covid-19 pandemic. The purpose of this service is to empower through digital marketing training in order to find a wider market and proper financial management training. Based on observations, in order to support Karti Aji's MSME production, the team carried out digital marketing training, financial administration management training, and provided tool grants. The results of the community service program are an increase in the empowerment of Karti Aji's MSME partners, namely an increase of 85% in knowledge aspect related to digital marketing and 80% in MSME financial management aspect. This program is expected to support the business sustainability of Karti Aji's MSMEs, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This community service program is motivated by empirical facts that the management and preparation of financial reports are not in accordance with standard accounting financial reporting standards at BUMDes Taman Karya Menunggal Tamantirto, Kasihan, Bantul. There is a need to increase the capacity of human resources (HR) in BUMDes, especially in financial management capabilities. The purpose of this activity is to increase HR capacity in terms of financial reporting and company services owned by Tamantirto Village. The methods used were (1) focus group discussions with BUMDes Taman Karya Manunggal, (2) Training on making BUMDes financial reports, and (3) providing tools for preparing financial reports. The result of this activity was an increase in participants' understanding of 80% regarding the importance of BUMDes financial management and financial reports. In addition, there is also an 85% increase in knowledge of making a financial management system.

Abstract

The growth of the science and technology has a positive effect. One of them is infrared, which is employed as a tool for therapeutic purposes. Based on observations at the Puskesmas Kraton Yogyakarta, it is known that there is no new android-based infrared therapy device and that the quality of therapeutic communication with patients is still insufficient. In order to improve the quality of care provided to patients, this activity aims to increase the value of health professionals' understanding of the significance of therapeutic communication and cutting-edge therapeutic tools. The methodology uses grants for Android-based Infrared devices at the Puskesmas Kraton Yogyakarta as well as training and support for therapists' therapeutic communication. As a result of community empowerment, therapists' capacity to communicate therapeutically with patients has increased by up to 87%, and the effectiveness of therapy assisted by infrared devices has increased by up to 85%.
