Abstract

Teknologi 5G adalah sebuah fase selanjutnya dari teknologi 4G. Kandidat frekuensi yang akandigunakan pada teknologi 5G berada pada spektrum gelombang milimeter. Salah satu teknologi yangmendukung 5G adalah MIMO. Internet of Things(IoT) sebagai bagian dari teknologi 5G perludikembangkan di Indonesia khususnya untuk mendukung komunikasi indoor sekaligus outdoor. Salahsatu spektrum frekuensi 5G adalah 28 GHz. Pada penelitian sebelumnya, terdapat desain compact arraymassive MIMO dual-band antena dengan menggunakan patch cross dan persegi tetapi berada padafrekuensi 5,4 GHz dan 15 GHz. Pada penelitian ini dirancang antena MIMO mikrostrip yang bekerjapada frekuensi 6 GHz dan 28 GHz dengan masing-masing frekuensi memiliki patch dan dimensi yangberbeda. Antena dirancang dengan menggunakan metode compact MIMO tetapi dengan desain yangsedikit berbeda dan hanya menggunakan patch persegi saja. Antena memiliki pola radiasi unidireksional,polarisasi linear, dan teknik pencatuannya adalah proximity coupled serta cross polarization. Hasil dariperancangan yang dilakukan, didapatkan antena MIMO dual-band di 6 GHz dan 28 GHz dengan nilaiparameter S11 terbesar -17,7 dB, gain terkecil sebesar 4,86 dBi, dan bandwidth 870 MHz untuk frekuensi28 GHz dan 60,2 MHz untuk frekuensi 6 GHz. Setelah dilakukan perancangan, selanjutnya dilakukananalisis terhadap parameter gain, pola radiasi, koefisien korelasi, dan mutual coupling.

Abstract

Analisis dan pengukuran redaman akibat lengkungan serat optik sangat jarang dilakukan. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada analisis daya yang hilang karena lengkungan serat optik dengan menggunakan metode geometris dan Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD). Hasil analisis kedua metode itu dibandingkan dengan hasil pengukuran. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa metode FDTD lebih mendekati hasil pengukuran.Kata Kunci: redaman lengkungan, serat optik, geometris, FDTD

Abstract

Wearable antenna has an important role in WBAN (Wireless Body Area Network) as the main component that supports on-body communication. This study focuses on the characterization of Material Under Test (MUT) from Indonesian traditional batik material using the CSRR (Complementary split ring resonator) sensor extraction method. The frequency response and magnitude of S21 are used to extract the relative permittivity and loss tangent of the material. From all the responses that appear, a simulation and measurement of wearable antennas is carried out with a working frequency of 2.4. GHz. The antenna with the most similar simulation and measurement results is then selected as a candidate for relative permittivity and loss tangent of the material. From all the 6 frequency responses that emerged from CSRR sensor measurements, the relative permittivity value of 2.083 and the loss tangent of 0.144 achieved a good similarity between the measurement and simulation with an accuracy rate of 99.17%. The final design of the proposed wearable antenna is also validated to transmit heart rate data using the ESP32 microcontroller to the internet using a 2.4 GHz frequency Wifi access point.
