Abstract

One of the problems that has become a serious challenge in the world of education is improving the quality of education in rural areas, which is disadvantaged, outermost, and frontier. Teachers’ intrinsic work motivation is an important indicator of the quality of the teachers’ work to bring out qualified performance. This study aimed to investigate the role of basic psychological needs satisfaction as the mediator between work climate and intrinsic work motivation of early childhood education teachers in rural areas. A total of one hundred and seven early childhood education teachers participated in this research by filling out questionnaires on organizational climate, basic psychological needs satisfaction, and interest or pleasure questionnaires from the intrinsic motivation inventory. Data analysis techniques used IBM SPSS 22 and Smart PLS 3. The results of the study reveal that the work climate is a factor that influences basic psychological needs satisfaction and intrinsic work motivation. Furthermore, the results of the study also show that basic psychological needs satisfaction affects the intrinsic work motivation of teachers and becomes a factor that mediates the role of work climate on the intrinsic work motivation of early childhood education teachers in rural areas. Optimizing the mediating role of basic psychological needs satisfaction can bring a more positive atmosphere for the teacher's work climate, increasing the teacher's teaching assignments and work motivation. The results also show that basic psychological needs satisfaction affects the intrinsic work motivation of teachers and serves as a factor that mediates the role of work climate on the intrinsic work motivation of early childhood teachers in rural areas

Abstract

Problems faced by children related to softmotoric skills especially when coordinating small muscles to perform daily activities is when drawing using stationery correctly there is still holding a pencil, cutting also not too skilled, expressing movement in detail while the child should be standard age 5 These achievements have been good for 6 years. Responding to this problem, it was found that the Paper Quilling activity that was designed by the teacher using simple raw materials owned around the child and then carried out with the concept of creative play turned out to interest the child to better process the increased skills. The purpose of this study will describe how the results of the development of softmotoric skills skills after using Paper Quilling activities especially in students aged 5-6 years. The research design used is descriptive qualitative with assessment techniques using observation and documentation where the observation instrument was developed referring to the STPPA of softmotoric skills aspects of children aged 5-6 years. The subjects were 13 children group B TK Pertiwi 2 Sidoarjo Kabupaten Nganjuk. The results of the data after being collected are analyzed using triaculation of data and then described in a natational manner by studying so that the softmotoric skills skills can be described. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that the improvement of children's skills in softmotoric skillsic aspects could be improved by using Paper Quilling activities. From the results of this study it is recommended that Paper Quilling activities can be used by other institutions to further accomodate the application according to the stages of child development because it is proven effective.

Abstract

YouTube accommodates videos on almost any topic, including entertainment, guides, music, personal vlogs, news, short films, documentaries, and other variations. This allows users to access content according to their interests and needs without significant restrictions. However, the issue of unsuitable content for children on YouTube has become an increasingly prevalent topic of discussion. The main issues related to unsuitable content for children on YouTube involve videos containing inappropriate material, violence, abusive language, and false or misleading information. While efforts have been made by YouTube to address this issue, it remains a concern given the large number of videos uploaded every day. In selecting YouTube content for early childhood, there are several criteria, including safety feasibility, interesting animation, interactivity, educational value, and positive value. Thus, this research emphasizes the importance of the existence of a decision support system in helping with the selection of YouTube content suitable for children. Decision Support Systems (DSS) use data analysis methods and various algorithms to process available information and data. The author applies a combination of EDAS (Evaluation Based on Distance From Average Solution) and ROC (Rank Order Centroid) methods to select the most appropriate and safe YouTube content for young children. This approach is used to rank each assessed piece of content. This resulted in the YouTube content "Lagu Anak Indonesia Balita" getting the top rank on alternative A8 with a maximum value of 1.00000, making it highly recommended for early childhood.

Abstract

Early childhood is children aged 0-6 years, where it is often called as the golden age. The development and growth of children will be very rapid in this age. This development occurs in the physical and psychological development of children. At the PAUD level, they will be given a stimulus of education based on their age. This educational stimulus is very useful to help developing their physical and spiritual growth and development. One of the stimuli that will be given is the language aspect. In the language aspect, they will be given a stimulus to develop the ability to communicate with other people or the interlocutor properly and correctly. Stimulating good communication skills is very important for them. In language aspect, not only the ability to communicate but the ability to read is also very important for them. This reading activity will be given to improvethe power of thinking and add insight into new knowledge in children. The low number of reading skills in group b children aged 5-6 years in TK Pertiwi 2 Kaloran is one of the problems that arise in teaching and learning activities. The low reading ability is caused by several factors. Starting from the use of learning media used is still too monotonous, less attractive to children. This is very interesting for researchers to make observation to help improving reading skills in children aged 5-6 years. This research uses the media of the alphabet book. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method developed by Kemmis and Taggart, with the research stages of Planning, Acting, Observing, and Reflecting. This research was conducted in 2 cycles, namely, Cycle I and Cycle II with the research subjects are group b children aged 5-6 years consisting of 12 children, 5 boys and 7 girls in TK Pertiwi 2 Kaloran. From the data generated in Cycle I with the criteria of completeness of 16.7%. Furthermore, in Cycle II, the criteria for completeness were 91.7%. So it can be concluded that learning with media of the alphabet book can help to develop reading skills in children aged 5-6 years in TK Pertiwi 2 Kaloran.

Abstract

This research aims to develop the gross motor skills of KM Sugihwaras Kindergarten children 5-6 years with a modified game of Boba (basketball). This research used three cycles of classroom action research. The subjects were 28 children in group B of kusuma mulya Sugihwaras Kindergarten. The object of the research is gross motor skills through modified Boba (basketball) games for children. Three cycles of classroom action research were used in the research method. Based on research findings, the modified boba (basketball) game was able to developchildren's gross motor skills pre-cycle by an average of 17.8%, cycle I by 21.4%, and in cycle II by the same amount, based on research findings. average 53.57%, while cycle 3 average 89.2%. Based on these findings, the modified Boba (basketball) game succeeded in increasing the percentage of AUD learning outcomes.

Abstract

Kemampuan kerja sama anak Raudhatul Athfal Al-Fikri Kedungsari Kecamatan Tarokan Kabupaten Kediri anak 4-5 tahun belum berkembang secara optimal. Terdapat anak yang masih sering berebut tempat dan berebut mainan. Begitu juga saat menyelesaikan tugas kelompok yang dibeikan oleh guru, mereka cenderung tidak bekerja sama. Ketika bermain, baik di dalam maupun di luar kelas, beberapa anak enggan bermain dalam kelompok dengan teman-temannya dan lebih memilih bermain sendiri. Selain itu, ada juga anak yang masih suka memilih-milih teman ketika bermain dan belajar. Permainan estafet bola adalah sebuah permainan yang dapat mempengaruhi berbagai aspek, salah satunya adalah kerjasama. Tindakan penelitian ini dilakukan dengan dua siklus yang meliputi tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan Tindakan, evaluasi, dan refleksi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dengan menggunakan instrumen lembar observasi.. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan kemampuan kerjasama anak pra siklus 28,57%, siklus I sebesar 57,15%, sedangkan pada siklus II, terjadi peningkatan dengan hasil mencapai 85,72%. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya kemajuan dalam kemampuan kerjasama anak melalui permainan estafet bola di Raudhatul Athfal Al-Fikri Kedungsari Kecamatan Tarokan Kabupaten Kediri.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of reading and listening concentration level on students’ ability to recall vocabulary in EFL online classroom based on their learning styles. The research subjects were 142 junior high school students of grade 8 in Kediri Regency, East Java Province, Indonesia that consisted of 45 boys and 97 girls. The participants were asked to read the English vocabulary presented on the power point on the screen and listen to the teacher's explanation regarding the meaning of the words through Google Meet. The participants were divided based on the results of the learning styles survey into three groups, i.e. the visual, auditory, and kinesthetic group. The questionnaire regarding concentration was used to determine the level of concentration in reading and listening during online language learning. The results showed that there are significant differences in the ability to remember English vocabulary between the three groups of learning styles with different level of reading and listening concentration.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the impact of the cooperative learning model on elementary school students' mathematics learning. Meta-analysis is the technique employed. The elementary school sample study, which covered experimental work using cooperative learning methods in math instruction, covered a range of 18 students. A coding sheet that compiles data and journal entries serves as the instrument in use. The average value of the effect, 0.39, falls into the large effect group according to an analysis of the overall effect's magnitude. The analysis's conclusions also demonstrate that the cooperative learning approach has an impact on math instruction at the primary school level.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang pelatihan teknis yang berfokus pada pemanfaatan aplikasi kecerdasan buatan (AI) seperti Google Slides dan Prezi sebagai sarana untuk membantu mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan tugas presentasi. Kajian ini menerapkan pendekatan berupa kuliah, diskusi, serta praktek terkait AI Tools. Hasil dari pelatihan ini sudah terbukti meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi AI ke dalam presentasi mereka, yang membuat tugas presentasi mereka menjadi lebih efisien, menarik, serta informatif. Pelatihan AI ini juga mengembangkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam memanfaatkan AI dalam presentasi, termasuk pilihan tata letak otomatis, analisa konten, serta dukungan visual yang lebih canggih. Selain itu, kegiatan PKM ini dijalankan melalui metode pelatihan yang efektif, meliputi panduan praktis, pembelajaran berbasis proyek, serta tips dalam memaksimalkan penggunaan AI. Hasil dari pelatihan tersebut menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan mahasiswa dalam merancang presentasi yang berkualitas tinggi serta menarik. Oleh karenanya, pelatihan teknis ini memberikan dampak positif pada perkembangan keterampilan mahasiswa dalam memakai teknologi AI, yang pada akhirnya akan meningkatkan efektivitas presentasi akademik mereka. Selain itu, pelatihan ini juga meningkatkan pemahaman serta pengalaman mahasiswa dalam memanfaatkan aplikasi seperti Google Slides dan Prezi untuk mempermudah tugas presentasi mereka serta meningkatkan kualitas komunikasi akademik di era 4.0.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas pentingnya pengenalan dan penguatan literasi digital di sekolah menengah atas (SMA) dengan fokus pada mengajarkan etika dan keamanan dalam penggunaan teknologi. Literasi digital menjadi krusial mengingat peran teknologi yang semakin merasuk dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Melalui metode literature review, artikel ini menganalisis berbagai sumber literatur terkait konsep literasi digital, etika dalam penggunaan teknologi, dan keamanan digital di lingkungan pendidikan SMA. Penekanan pada literasi digital di SMA merupakan langkah proaktif untuk mempersiapkan generasi muda menghadapi tantangan digital di masa depan. Pembelajaran etika dan keamanan digital di SMA memainkan peran penting dalam membentuk sikap yang bertanggung jawab terhadap teknologi. Tiga kunci diskusi dalam artikel ini meliputi literasi digital, etika, dan keamanan digital. Hasil penelusuran literatur menunjukkan perlunya integrasi kurikulum literasi digital yang komprehensif di SMA, termasuk pengajaran tentang pentingnya etika dan keamanan dalam penggunaan teknologi. Artikel ini menggarisbawahi bahwa pendidikan literasi digital bukan hanya tentang menguasai teknologi, tetapi juga memahami implikasi sosial, etika, dan keamanan yang terkait. Dengan demikian, artikel ini mengajukan bahwa pengenalan dan penguatan literasi digital di SMA harus menjadi prioritas, dengan penekanan khusus pada pengajaran etika dan keamanan digital. Langkah-langkah ini diharapkan dapat membentuk generasi yang cerdas, bertanggung jawab, dan aman dalam menggunakan teknologi di era digital ini.
