Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesulitan siswa kelas IV SD pada materi pengukuran luas menggunakan satuan tidak baku dan satuan baku. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek guru kelas IV dan 20 siswa SDN Tandang 02 Semarang. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes tertulis, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 20 siswa, 10 siswa memperoleh nilai di atas KKM dan 10 siswa lainnya masih berada di bawa KKM. Kesulitan utama asiswa terletak pada kemampuan menghitung kotak setengah pada pengukuran satuan tidak baku, ketidaktepatan dalam operasi perkalian, serta kurang teliti dalam menyelesaikan soal. Faktor penyebab kesulitan berasal dari faktor internal, seperti kurang fokus dan pemahaman konsep yang belum kuat, serta faktor eksternal seperti kurangnya bimbingan orang tua, penjelasan guru yang kurang variatif, dan kondisi kelas yang ramai. Dengan demikian, diperlukan pembelajaran yang lebih konkret, bervariasi, dan remedial untuk membantu siswa memahami materi pengukuran luas dengan lebih baik.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the "Jumat Berbagi" (Friday Sharing) program, analyze its impact on students' social care character, and identify the supporting and inhibiting factors at SD N 4 Kutoharjo. Character education is crucial in elementary school as it forms the foundation for future personality development. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques including observation, interviews with the principal, teachers, and students, and documentation. The results indicate that "Jumat Berbagi" is implemented through a structured process where students bring food and drinks to be distributed to the local community and social institutions. This activity significantly impacts students' character by fostering empathy, sympathy, and a willingness to help others without expecting anything in return. Supporting factors include high enthusiasm from students and support from parents and school staff, while inhibiting factors include occasional logistical challenges and varying levels of initial student understanding. Abstract

With limited media, teachers still rely on lecture-based and question and answer approaches. Most of the teaching aids used consist of textbooks and images. The objectives of this study are (1) To develop interactive learning media based on Canva on environmental pollution material for fourth grade students of SDN Salaman Mloyo. (2) To determine the level of suitability of interactive learning media based on Canva on environmental pollution material for fourth grade students of SDN Salaman Mloyo. This is a study focused on Reach and Development utilizing the ADDIE framework. The research subjects were 4th grade students at SDN Salaman Mloyo. Methods for gathering data comprised observation, interviews, validation sheests, questionnaires and documentation. This interactive learning resource was created using the Canva application as the primary platform for designing educational materials. It is designed to encourage interaction between the learning resource and the students. The resource also features navigation buttons, animations, educational videos and interactive quizzes, which will enable students to learn actively and grasp the material with ease. Based on media expert validation, it achieved an average score of 96% in the “Highly suitable” category, and subject matter expert validation yielded a score of 93,3% in the “Highly suitable” category. The results of the teacher response questionnaire showed a score of 91,67% with the criterion “Highly suitable”, meanwhile the student response questionnaire yielded a score of 89,10% with the criterion “Highly suitable”. In the conclusion, the interactive media developed by the researcher is valid, facilitates understanding of the learning material, and is accepted as a learning medium for 4th grade.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Student Worksheets (LKPD) crossword puzzles through the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in improving the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students of SDN Lamper Tengah 01. This study uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The subjects of the study were all 28 fifth-grade students in the 2025/2026 academic year. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and tests (pretest posttest). The research instrument is multiple choice questions. Data analysis uses the Lilliefors normality test, N-Gain score, learning mastery test, and Paired Sample T-Test. The results showed an average pretest score of 58.92 increasing to 83.92 in the posttest. The N-Gain score obtained was 0.63 in the "moderate" category, and the N-Gain percentage of 63.96% in the "quite effective" category. Thus, the crossword puzzle worksheet using the PBL model is effective in improving fifth-grade students' learning outcomes in the science subject, What is My Regional Culture Like in the Independent Curriculum.

Abstract

The background that prompted this research was the low self confidence and lack of creativity of students in creating works of art in fine arts learning at SDN 2 Purwosari. Creative character is an important aspect in fine arts learning in elementary schools. However, in reality, students still rely on examples and detailed technical directions. This research focuses on 1) How fine arts activities are implemented; 2) How students' creative character is formed; 3) Supporting and inhibiting factors for the formation of creative character through fine arts learning at SDN 2 Purwosari. This research used a descriptive qualitative method with a naturalistic approach to gain an in-depth understanding of the learning phenomena taking place in the classroom. The subjects were teachers and students in grades I, III, and V of SDN 2 Purwosari. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was tested through source and technique triangulation. The results of the study indicate that fine arts activities were implemented through practical activities tailored to the characteristics of students at each grade level. The process of developing creative character is demonstrated through students' abilities to develop ideas, choose shapes and colors, collaborate, try new techniques, refine their work, and solve problems during the work. Supporting factors include the teacher's role as a facilitator, creative freedom, the use of readily available media, collaboration among students, and student enthusiasm. While inhibiting factors include limited learning time, differences in student abilities, lack of self confidence, limited tools and materials, and technical difficulties in creating works. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that fine arts activities play a role in shaping students' creative character through creative experiences that provide opportunities for exploration and development of creativity. Based on these findings, the recommendation is that teachers continue to provide opportunities for students to develop ideas and creativity independently through a variety of fine arts activities.

Abstract

The rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has encouraged its implementation in education, including elementary schools. However, AI utilization in learning has not been optimally implemented due to various obstacles experienced by teachers. This study aims to analyze teachers' barriers in utilizing AI as a learning medium, identify the factors causing these barriers, and describe teachers' efforts to overcome them at SD Negeri Tengki 01. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving one principal and twelve teachers. The data were analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana interactive analysis model. The findings revealed that teachers experienced internal barriers, including limited understanding of AI, inadequate digital competencies, and dependence on conventional teaching methods. External barriers consisted of limited technological facilities, inadequate internet access, and the absence of AI-related professional development programs. Psychological barriers were also identified, including low self-confidence and anxiety in adopting new technologies. Teachers attempted to overcome these challenges through self- directed learning, participation in webinars, discussions with colleagues, and involvement in Teacher Working Group (KKG) activities. The study concludes that AI implementation as a learning medium at SD Negeri Tengki 01 has not yet been optimal due to the interaction of internal, external, and psychological barriers. Therefore, schools should strengthen technological infrastructure and provide sustainable professional development programs to improve teachers' digital competencies.
