This study aimed to compare thebreast care with massage oxytocin on milk production in mothers of normal post partum. Thisresearch quantitative with quasy experimental study design, 32respondents with consecutivesampling, used independent t-test. Milk production in mothers with a normal post partum breast careaction has an average number of 31.4375, while the production of milk with a massage action ofoxytocin has an average number of 24.8750. Test independent sample t test showed that the results ofthe t> t table (2.858> -2.037) and the value of p <0.05 (0.008 <0.05). Based on research carried outcan be concluded that there is a difference between the breast care with massage oxytocin on milkproduction in mothers of normal post partum.

Abstract

Health problems resulting from flooding have a very significant role in the sustainability of people's lives. Major floods hit South Kalimantan, Indonesia in 2021. The impact of the flooding will cause nursing problems in the community. There has been no research on nursing outcomes for communities affected by floods, although research has been conducted on identifying nursing diagnoses for post-flood communities. The aim of the research is to develop nursing outcomes for nursing diagnosis in post-flood communities in Indonesia. Descriptive analytics with a cross-sectional approach. The research sample was 140 people with a consecutive sampling technique using a questionnaire with 207 assessment items on nursing outcomes for nursing diagnoses that emerged in post-flood communities. Univariate analysis was used. The 14 nursing diagnoses that emerged in flood-affected communities, there are 33 nursing outcomes labels with 91 outcome indicators. Nursing diagnoses and nursing outcomes that have been obtained can be made into a guidebook for nursing care in post-flood communities. The quality of nursing services can be improved when a disaster occurs to reduce disability, complications and even death during and after a flood disaster.

Abstract

Integrated development post of non-communicable diseases (Posbindu penyakit tidak menular/PTM) is one of the strategies implemented by the MOH of Indonesia for prevention, screening, and early detection through community empowerment and community involvement in reducing the number of non-communicable diseases (NCDs), including cancer. This study aimed to explore the barriers to reducing the risk of cancer. Twelve participants were involved in this study using in-depth interviews and participant observations. All the interviews and discussions were recorded using an audio tape recorder and also using field notes, and then a transcript was transcribed verbatim. Five themes emerged namely providing funding for the program, obtaining appropriate support from the government based on the community’s needs and a health workforce shortage, sharing and discussing the health information, and cultural practices of the community as barriers to reducing the risk of cancer in the community. The study results can be used as evidence to develop and sustain effective strategies to address the barriers to reducing the risk of cancer in communities in Indonesia.

Abstract

After the first stroke, according to epidemiological data, there is a 30% risk of recurrent stroke. That events are the population who had suffered stroke and the recurrence rate is 9 times compared to the normal population. Results of research from the Stroke Association stated that the possibility of recurrence stroke was 3.1% in 30 days, 11.1% within one year, 26.4% within five years, and 39.2% within 10 years. This literature review is intended to analyze the risk factors of recurrent stroke events. The literature review was carried out by searching for articles in 2011-2021 in Indonesian and English. There were four databases for providing electronic journal articles, namely Garuda, Google Scholar, Science Direct, and PubMed. The quality of the articles carried out using JBI's Critical Appraisal Tools. Narrative synthesized was used to analyze the data of the review.  There were 6 articles synthesized in this review. The review result showed that diabetes mellitus, hypertension, cardiovascular disorders, anemia, obesity, lack of physical activity, high serum of LDL/HDL, non-adherence to treatment, lack of confidence in treatment, lack of knowledge about the disease, and gender can encourage the occurrence of recurrent stroke. Many factors cause recurrent stroke events but diabetes mellitus, hypertension and  non-adherence to treatment are most widely discussed in the six articles.
