This research uses a qualitative method of literature with descriptive analysis, involving the collection and analysis of literature in the form of books, documents, and related articles. The main purpose of this approach is to overcome the stagnation of scientific development, as well as to build a paradigm that views religious and general sciences as inseparable, but in the context of PAI context, this approach is realized through internal integration, which combines the subjects of Al-Qur'an, Hadith, Fiqh, Akidah, and Akhlak, as well as external integration with science, technology, and citizenship. This approach is not only relevant to real-life challenges, but also encourages teachers' creativity in designing contextualized and innovative learning. By providing students with an understanding of the close relationship between religion and science, this approach increases the attractiveness, relevance, and contextuality of PAI. Proper implementation is expected to equip students with a solid moral and intellectual foundation to face the demands of the modern era dynamically and adaptively.

Abstract

Poverty is a central issue in social development in Indonesia. Religious moderation is expected to be a strategic approach to reducing poverty and realizing social justice. This research aims to explore and elaborate concrete strategies for implementing diverse moderation through qualitative methods and literature studies. The results show that religion has great potential in social and economic development. The implementation of diverse moderation through education plays an important role in instilling the values of tolerance, interfaith dialog, and respect for integrity. This education shapes a young generation that is inclusive and plays an active role in overcoming social inequalities. In addition, the optimization of philanthropic institutions, such as zakat, infaq and sadaqah, must be carried out professionally, transparently and sustainably to ensure equity. The synergy between education based on religious moderation and philanthropic management is expected to alleviate material poverty and create an inclusive and socially just society. Religious moderation becomes the main driver in sustainable economic empowerment, building social harmony, and realizing social justice as a whole.

Abstract

This study examines innovations in attitude assessment within Islamic educational institutions, including madrasahs, pesantrens, and formal schools at the primary, secondary, and tertiary levels. The main focus is to develop affective assessment techniques and instruments that are contextually appropriate, methodologically sound, and aligned with core Islamic values such as honesty, patience, empathy, and responsibility. Using a qualitative approach through literature review and historical analysis, the study reviews primary policy documents and relevant scholarly literature. Thematic analysis reveals weaknesses in conventional assessment methods, including subjectivity, limited integration of Islamic ethical values, and a lack of adaptive systems. At the primary level, assessments rely heavily on observation and anecdotal records, which often lead to subjective results. At the secondary level, self- and peer-assessments are commonly used but are vulnerable to bias. In higher education, more contextual approaches such as case-based assessments and portfolios demonstrate better alignment with character education goals. The study highlights the potential of digital innovations, including artificial intelligence and online platforms, to enhance the accuracy and scalability of attitude assessments. These tools offer promising solutions to longstanding challenges by enabling deeper integration of Islamic values in affective evaluation. The study recommends developing standardized yet adaptable digital instruments, along with improved teacher training and curriculum development, to support effective Islamic value-based assessments.

Abstract

Stunting is a condition of growth failure in toddlers that leads to reduced productivity and susceptibility to degenerative diseases. The prevalence of stunting in West Java Province was the highest on the island of Java in 2018-2020. The objective of this study was to analyze the distribution map and spatial autocorrelation for stunting prevalence in West Java Province, with considering the spatial effects. The present study employed an ecological design with a spatial approach. The research data was obtained from Open Data Jabar, which is freely accessible via the website. The analysis was conducted using GeoDa software. The results indicate an increase in the areas demonstrating spatial effects between stunting and breastfeeding each year (2018–2020). Concurrently, the spatial implications of poverty on stunting necessitate further examination in the western region of West Java Province, particularly in Sumedang, Tasikmalaya, and Indramayu.
