Abstract

This study is a quantitative pre-experimental study that aims to analyze the effect of using website-based puzzle media on the learning outcomes of Fifth Grade Students of Elementary School 109 Cappagalung, South Sinjai District, Sinjai Regency. This study uses a One Group Pre-test-Post-test design. The population in this study were 17 fifth grade students of Elementary School 109 Cappagalung, with a sampling technique using a saturated sampling technique. Data collection techniques were carried out through learning outcome tests before and after using website-based puzzle media. Hypothesis testing using Paired Sample t-Test with the help of IBM SPSS Statistic Version 26 program. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistical analysis techniques and inferential statistical analysis techniques. Based on the descriptive statistical analysis, the average pretest value of 43.92 is in the less category while the average posttest of 76.46 is in the good category. The data obtained were then analyzed using the Paired Sample t-Test with a significance level of 5%. From the data results obtained tcount (10.985) (>) ttable (2.11991). Thus, H₀ is rejected and H₁ is accepted, it can be concluded that website-based puzzle media has a significant effect on the learning outcomes of science at SD Negeri 109 Cappagalung, South Sinjai District, Sinjai Regency.

Abstract

This research is motivated by peer interaction and students' speaking skills. This research is a type of correlational research with a quantitative approach that aims to determine whether or not there is a significant relationship between peer interaction and speaking skills of fourth grade students of SD Inpres 5/81 Mallari, Bone Regency. The population in this study were 20 fourth grade students using a saturated sample technique. Peer interaction data were collected through a questionnaire instrument and student speaking skills data were collected through a test. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. Based on the results of descriptive statistics, it was obtained that peer interaction was in the high category with an average of 65.63% and students' speaking skills with an average of 55.76% in the moderate category. The results of the inferential statistical analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between peer interaction and students' speaking skills with a correlation coefficient of 0.545 and was in the moderate category. Thus, H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. So it can be concluded that there is a significant positive relationship between peer interaction and speaking skills of fourth grade students of SD Inpres 5/81 Mallari, Bone Regency

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to enhance the pedagogical competence of teachers at SD Inpres 12/79 Biru 1 through the use of animated video media in teaching. This activity involved teachers from SD Inpres 12/79 Biru 1 as participants in a socialization session conducted by the Community Service Team. The session covered the concept of animated video media, steps for its implementation in the classroom, and examples of how it can be used in elementary school subjects. During the session, participants were provided with a guidebook on how to use animated video media, enabling them to gain a clear understanding and be inspired to apply it in their own teaching. The results of the activity received positive feedback, as participants gained knowledge on how to use animated video media, which can help improve their pedagogical skills, particularly in designing and utilizing media that aligns with learning objectives. This ultimately motivates students, increases their interest and engagement, and improves academic achievement. The conclusion of this activity is that participants gained practical knowledge about animated video media that can be used to motivate students, enhance their interest, and improve learning outcomes.AbstrakTujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru di SD Inpres 12/79 Biru 1 menggunakan media video animasi dalam pembelajaran, kegiatan ini melibatkan guru-guru SD Inpres 12/79 Biru 1 sebagai peserta sosialiasasi yang dilaksanakan oleh tim Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat. Sosialisasi ini mencakup pemahaman konsep media video animasi, langkah-langkah penggunaan dalam pembelajaran, dan penayangan contoh penggunaan media animasi dalam pembelajaran mata Pelajaran di Sekolah Dasar. Selama sosialisasi, peserta diberikan file pedoman penggunaan media video animasi, sehingga peserta memperoleh pemahaman dan dapat menginspirasi untuk menggunakannya dalam pembelajaran. Hasil kegiatan mendapat respon positif memperoleh pengetahuan penggunaan media video animasi karena dapat membantu meningkatkan kemampuan pedagogik mereka yaitu merancang dan menggunakan media video animasi sesuai tujuan pembelajaran di SD sehingga siswa dapat termotivasi, berminat, aktif, dan berprestasi. Kesimpulan kegiatan ini adalah peserta memperoleh ilmu pengetahuan praktis tentang media video animasi yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran untuk memotivasi, meningkatkan minat, dan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Pentingnya pengembangan kreativitas siswa dalam proses pembelajaran, khususnya pada mata pelajaran seni rupa. Kreativitas merupakan salah satu aspek penting yang perlu dikembangkan sejak dini, karena dapat menunjang kemampuan berpikir kritis, inovatif, dan ekspresif siswa. Media pembelajaran yang menarik dan sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa menjadi salah satu faktor yang dapat mendukung peningkatan kreativitas tersebut. Salah satu media yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah media kolase, yang dinilai mampu merangsang daya imajinasi dan ekspresi seni siswa melalui kegiatan menyusun gambar dari berbagai bahan.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain One Group Pretest dan Posttest, dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaiamana gambaran kreativitas siswa sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran seni rupa dengan menggunakan media kolase serta untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh signifikan media kolase terhadap kreativitas siswa kelas IV SDN 85 Cacaleppeng Kabupaten Soppeng. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 19 siswa dengan teknik sampling jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket. Teknik analisis data dengan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. analisis statistik deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan rata-rata kreativitas siswa, dari 61,05 pada pretest menjadi 69,84 pada posttest. Hasil uji normalitas dan homogenitas menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Uji hipotesis menggunakan paired sample t-test menunjukkan nilai t hitung sebesar -12.572 dan signifikansi 0,001 < 0,05, yang berarti terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara penggunaan media kolase terhadap kreativitas siswa.

Abstract

This study is a correlational study that aims to determine whether there is or there is not a relationship between the family environment and the learning outcomes of the high-grade students at SD Negeri 85 Cacaleppeng, Soppeng Regency. The sample in this study was all of 45 high-grade students, who were taken using a saturated sampling technique. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire for the family environment variable and documentation of odd semester report card scores for the 2024/2025 academic year for the learning outcome variable. The data analysis technique used was inferential statistics through the Pearson Product Moment correlation test. Based on the results of the inferential statistical analysis, it was obtained: rcount> rtable (0.825> 0.294) at the significance level of 5%. Conclusion: there is a significant correlation between the family environment and the learning outcomes of high-grade students at SD Negeri 85 Cacaleppeng, Soppeng Regency and the correlation is positive and categorized as Very High

Abstract

The learning motivation of students at SD Negeri 46 Songing in mathematics is still considered low. This condition is evident from the students' mathematics learning outcomes, which are generally below average. In addition, there is minimal use of instructional media in the teaching process, as well as data from the 2024 Education Report, which indicates that students’ numeracy skills are categorized as moderate. Therefore, this outreach activity aims to introduce and provide training for teachers on how to optimize the use of KARTIKA (Mathematics Cards) as a teaching medium, with the goal of improving students’ learning motivation and foundational mathematical abilities.The activity was carried out through socialization and hands-on practice using five planned stages: (1) preparation, (2) media design, (3) dissemination, (4) training and mentoring, and (5) evaluation and follow-up. Each stage was implemented systematically and involved active participation from the stakeholders, especially classroom teachers and students of SD Negeri 46 Songing.The results of the community service activity showed that the use of KARTIKA (Mathematics Cards) can increase students’ learning motivation and create a more interactive and enjoyable learning environment, with an average score of 4.46, categorized as good. Meanwhile, the teacher questionnaire results indicated enthusiasm and openness to integrating the KARTIKA media into classroom instruction, with an average score of 4.7, categorized as very good. The KARTIKA media has proven to be an effective alternative tool for enhancing students’ motivation to learn mathematics at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Karakter Gotong Royong Siswa dalam Pelaksanaan Kegiatan P5 di SD Inpres 5/81 Mattiro Walie khususnya kelas IV dan V. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dan observasi. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari 10 orang yaitu kepala sekolah, wali kelas IV, wali kelas V, serta 7 orang siswa kelas tinggi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa karakter gotong royong siswa kelas tinggi dalam kegiatan P5 di SD Inpres 5/81 Mattiro Walie sudah baik dan mengalami banyak peningkatan sejak adanya kegiatan P5 di sekolah tersebut. Guru memiliki peran penting dalam mengembangkan karakter gotong royong siswa. Guru selalu mendampingi siswa dalam kegiatan P5 di luar kelas untuk memantau, memberikan arahan serta bimbingan untuk mengembangkan karakter gotong royong siswa. Siswa menunjukkan karakter gotong royong yang baik dan mampu berkolaborasi dengan teman saat melakukan kegiatan P5 di luar kelas. Siswa berbagi peran sebagai bentuk gotong royong dalam melaksanakan kegiatan P5 di sekolah.

Abstract

This study aimed to measure the improvement of students' creative thinking skills after using Controversy-based integrated science learning tools.  The study employed a pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest. The research subjects were 20 students of the Science Education Program, The State University of Makassar selected using the Nonprobablit sampling technique (saturation sampling). The instrument was an essay test that had been validated. The findings show a significant difference in students' average creative thinking skills before and after learning using Controversy based Integrated Science learning tools. It shows that the improvement of students' creative thinking skills after being treated with Controversy based Integrated Science learning tools was in high category and significant. Students were able to develop their knowledge, predict some limited information, formulate a solution to a problem, and analyze information from different perspectives.

Abstract

This qualitative study aims to describe teachers’ perceptions of differentiated instruction and language skills learning at SD Inpres 12/79 Biru II, Bone Regency. The findings indicate that most teachers have participated in training on differentiated instruction and understand its theoretical concepts (content, process, and product) as outlined in the Merdeka Curriculum; however, they have not yet implemented them in classroom practice. In contrast, teachers have already applied language skills learning—even though they lack a theoretical understanding of the underlying concepts, including listening, speaking, reading, writing, and the integration of these skills. The study concludes that teachers possess theoretical knowledge and perceptions of differentiated instruction but have not implemented them. On the other hand, in language skills instruction, teachers have practiced it in class without sufficient theoretical understanding of the concept as a whole. Conclusion Teachers have a theoretical perception of differentiated instruction but have not applied it in teaching. And Teachers lack an understanding of language skills instruction but have implemented it without grasping its core concepts.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh penggunaan media interaktif Kahoot terhadap kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas IV di SD Negeri 179 Mallinrung, Kecamatan Libureng, Kabupaten Bone. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan rancangan pretest-posttest. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes membaca pemahaman sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan, kemudian dianalisis dengan pendekatan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial menggunakan perangkat lunak IBM SPSS Statistics Version 26. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa data pretest dan posttest berdistribusi normal, sebagaimana ditunjukkan oleh nilai probabilitas pretest sebesar 0,406 dan posttest sebesar 0,067, yang keduanya melebihi ambang batas signifikansi 0,05. Uji hipotesis membuktikan terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara skor pretest dan posttest dengan nilai signifikansi (Sig.) sebesar 0,000 (lebih kecil dari 0,05) serta nilai t-hitung sebesar 14,508 yang melampaui t-tabel sebesar 2,045. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media interaktif Kahoot berkontribusi positif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, disarankan agar guru mempertimbangkan pemanfaatan Kahoot sebagai media pembelajaran guna mengoptimalkan keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa secara lebih efektif.
