Abstract

Manajemen hubungan Masyarakat (humas) memiliki peran penting dalam menjembatani komunikasi antara lembaga pendidikan dengan masyarakat serta para pemangku kepentingan. Humas berfungsi membangun hubungan yang harmonis,menyampaikan informasi secara efektif,serta membentuk citra positif lembaga pendidikan di mata publik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran manajemen humas dalam meningkatkan hubungan antara sekolah dan masyarakat serta dalam mendukung kegiatan promosi lembaga pendidikan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan Teknik pengumpulan data melalui studi literatur dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen humas yang baik dapat memperluas jangkauan informasi kepada masyarakat, meningkatkan minat calon peserta didik, serta memperkuat kerja sama antara sekolah dan orang tua. Selain itu, strategi komunikasi yang efektif dan pemilihan media yang tepat menjadi faktor penting dalam keberhasilan kegiatan humas. Dengan demikian,manajemen humas yang terencana dan teroganisir dapat membantu meningkatkan kualitas serta daya saing lembaga pendidikan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the model of curriculum innovation management based on character and contextual approaches in improving the quality of early childhood education (PAUD). The background of this research is based on the suboptimal implementation of the Independent Curriculum, particularly in systematically integrating character values and contextual approaches in the learning process. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study type. Data was obtained from various scientific sources, including journals, with a minimum focus on SINTA 5 ranked journal, as these journals have undergone a process that meets established scientific standards. Additionally, data was obtained from books and previous research relevant to the topic discussed. Data collection techniques are carried out through documentation studies, while data analysis uses qualitative descriptive analysis techniques through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Research results show that character-based and contextual curriculum management innovation plays a significant role in creating learning that is more meaningful, adaptive, and relevant to children's lives. The integration of character values through habituation, role modeling, and the utilization of local wisdom has been proven to support the holistic formation of children's character. However, its implementation still faces various obstacles, such as limited teacher competence, infrastructure, and less than optimal environmental support. Therefore, innovative strategies are needed in the form of improving teacher competence, strengthening collaboration between parents and the community, and optimizing the use of the environment as a learning resource.

Abstract

This research aism to analyze the implementation of quality education-based school management at the High School (SMA) level in Solo City, Central Java. The method used is a descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The result showed that the implementation of quality-based school management is carried out through three main components, namely strategic planning, implementation of quality programs, and performance evaluation. However, some obstacles were still found, such as limited competent human resources, minimal quality management training and weak data-driven evaluation systems. Improvement efforts are carried out through strengthening the role of school principals as quality managers, increasing teacher and parent participation, and using information technology in the evaluation process. This research recommends the need for synergy between local governments, school and communities in realizing sustainable education quality management.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the implementation of the Deep Learning approach in improving students’ reading literacy at SD Negeri 3 Mojo, Andong District, Boyolali Regency, and to identify the challenges and strategies associated with its implementation. The Deep Learning approach was selected because it emphasizes meaningful, reflective, contextual, and student-centered learning while fostering critical thinking skills in reading literacy instruction. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach involving fourth- and fifth-grade teachers as the primary participants, with the principal and students serving as supporting informants. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. Data credibility was ensured through source and technique triangulation, while data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. The findings revealed that the Deep Learning approach was implemented systematically through lesson planning, instructional practices, and assessment activities. The approach integrated the principles of mindful learning, meaningful learning, and joyful learning into reading literacy instruction. Learning activities were conducted through contextual discussions, reflective exercises, visual and digital media utilization, and Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS)-based questioning. The implementation contributed positively to students’ reading comprehension, critical thinking skills, self-confidence, and reading motivation. However, several challenges were identified, including differences in students’ literacy abilities, low reading interest among some students, limited instructional time, and varying levels of teacher understanding of the Deep Learning approach. To address these challenges, teachers and the school implemented reading assistance programs, strengthened the school literacy culture, promoted teacher collaboration, and applied contextual learning strategies. These findings indicate that the Deep Learning approach has significant potential to support active, reflective, and meaningful reading literacy learning in elementary schools while fostering competencies required for 21st-century learning.

Abstract

Background: Improving learning quality in Islamic schools requires an approach oriented toward continuous improvement through simple, consistent, and structured habits. The Kaizen principle offers a quality enhancement framework that emphasizes continuous improvement through small, gradual, and sustainable refinements. Objective: This study aims to analyze the application of Kaizen principles in optimizing learning quality through student affairs programs at MTsN 4 Klaten. Method: The study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed through data reduction, descriptive data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Results: The improvement of learning quality was supported by habituation of discipline, cleanliness, religious activities, achievement development, and technology-based student progress monitoring. This implementation reflects Kaizen principles through process consistency, gradual improvement, data utilization, and continuous evaluation. However, program evaluation still needs strengthening, student involvement remains uneven, and program innovation needs to be developed to prevent stagnation. Conclusion: Kaizen principles can support the optimization of learning quality through systematic and sustainable management of student affairs programs. Contribution: This research contributes to strengthening the study of Islamic educational management and provides a practical overview of Kaizen application in improving learning quality in Islamic schools.

Abstract

The Early Childhood Education (PAUD) curriculum plays an important role in shaping young children’s learning experiences. However, in practice, there are still several challenges, such as a lack of meaningful learning and the suboptimal integration of nationalism values. Therefore, curriculum innovation is needed to incorporate approaches that align with children’s characteristics.This study aims to analyze and develop the concept of transforming the PAUD curriculum based on a multisensory music approach as an effort to strengthen nationalism values in early childhood. The method used is a library research approach by reviewing various sources, including scientific journals, books, and relevant previous studies. The data analysis technique is conducted descriptively and qualitatively through processes of organizing, categorizing, and interpreting data.The results of the study indicate that a multisensory music-based approach can enhance children’s engagement, participation, and understanding in learning. The integration of audio, visual, and kinesthetic elements has proven effective in stimulating children’s motor, cognitive, and affective development. In addition, the use of audio-visual media helps children understand nationalism values in a more concrete and meaningful way.In conclusion, transforming the PAUD curriculum through a multisensory music-based approach is an effective strategy to create enjoyable and holistic learning experiences while strengthening the internalization of nationalism values from an early age.

Abstract

This study aims to examine digital-based management innovation in improving the quality of early childhood education services. The research employs a qualitative approach with descriptive methods through literature study, utilizing secondary data from journals, books, and relevant scientific articles published between 2020-2025. The findings indicate that conventional student management still faces various obstacles, including manual data management, limited communication between teachers and parents, and suboptimal monitoring of child development. The implementation of digital innovations such as student management applications and e-portfolios provides solutions by enabling more structured data management, real-time development monitoring, and more transparent communication. These innovations not only improve administrative efficiency but also strengthen collaboration between schools and parents in supporting child development. Additionally, digitalization enhances the accessibility and flexibility of educational services. However, implementation requires infrastructure support, human resource competencies, and adequate policies. Thus, digital-based student management innovation plays a crucial role in improving the quality of early childhood education services that are more effective, efficient, transparent, and oriented toward children's developmental needs.
