Abstract

This researcher in the background of the facts in the field that class II SDN Pejangkungan there are some students have difficulty with intellectual ability. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of the use of the game of greeting words on the results of cognitive tests in learning civics class II in elementary school. This study uses quantitative experimental research methods with nonequivalent control group design. The results of hypothesis testing using paired sample T - Test t-Test obtained the value of the count of cognitive test results = 11.235> ttable 2.045. So it can be concluded that there is an influence on the media of word games and letter cards to the results of cognitive tests in learning PKN Class II in elementary school.

Abstract

This study aims to improve character with local culture-based learning in the Merdeka Era learning through games. This study uses a qualitative method, with data collection techniques of observation, interviews, and documentation. This study was conducted in class V at MI Muhammadiyah 2 Kedungbanteng Tanggulangin. The results of the study showed that there was a significant increase in students' religious character, tolerance and patriotism through games based on local wisdom. to see and find out how local game-based learning combined with local knowledge affects the development of students' religious character, tolerance, and patriotism. This study seeks to clarify the efficacy of this new teaching strategy through in-depth analysis. The results should be a guideline for curriculum development, policy making, and educational practices to produce moral and broad-minded successors to the country.

Abstract

Background: Character education in primary schools requires not only moral instruction but also consistent habituation supported by school and family. Specific Background: SDI Al-Chusnaini integrates religious routines, extracurricular programs, and communication tools to strengthen students’ noble character. Gap: Limited studies have examined how these strategies operate simultaneously in an Islamic full-day school context. Aim: This study explores the strategies used to strengthen and form students’ noble character through collaboration between teachers and parents. Methods: A descriptive qualitative design was employed with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, analyzed using source triangulation. Results: Findings show that character strengthening occurs through religious habituation, structured extracurricular activities, and the consistent use of a communication book that aligns guidance at school and home. Novelty: This study highlights the integrated use of religious programs and communication systems as a continuous monitoring mechanism. Implications: Schools can enhance character formation by ensuring strong teacher–parent collaboration and routine-based programs that support honesty, responsibility, and religiosity. Abstract

General Background: Education in Indonesia requires learning approaches that foster active student engagement, particularly in early grades. Specific Background: Pancasila Education in grade 1 often faces issues such as low motivation and passive learning due to traditional teacher-centered methods. Knowledge Gap: Limited studies have examined the use of Problem Based Learning (PBL) to strengthen conceptual understanding of Pancasila in early elementary school. Aims: This study aims to improve learning outcomes through the implementation of PBL in grade 1 Pancasila Education. Results: Classroom Action Research involving two cycles showed a significant increase in mastery, from 31.25% in the pre-cycle, to 56.25% in cycle I, and reaching 93.75% in cycle II. Novelty: This study provides early-grade empirical evidence of PBL’s effectiveness for Pancasila concepts using contextual problem exploration. Implications: The findings highlight that well-structured PBL can increase student participation, responsibility, and conceptual understanding in civic-related learning. Abstract

This article aims to provide knowledge about parents role in developing the independent character of elementary school children during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this study was a qualitative research method using literature studies. Literature studies are carried out by searching for literature that is appropriate with research from various written sources, both print and non-print, such as books, scientific papers contained in national and international journals and seminar proceedings. The parent's role in independent character cultivation of elementary school students during the COVID-19 pandemic is a must, considering the current state of learning at home so that parents become the spearhead in the education process, one of which is in terms of developing the independent character of elementary school children. Independent character is necessary to be developed in elementary school children during the current COVID-19 pandemic, due to this pandemic, people including elementary school children, must be able to carry out protocols independently, such as maintaining hand hygiene, avoiding touching their eyes, nose and mouth, applying coughing or sneezing ethics, wearing a mask, keeping a safe distance. Therefore, for elementary school children to be able to carry out these protocols independently, the parents' role in developing the independent character of elementary school children during the current Covid-19 pandemic is considered important. The importance of developing independent character is because at the age of elementary school children are still not used to maintaining personal hygiene, especially personal hygiene when outside home.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the results of research on the effectiveness of illustrated story media in improving the speaking skills of elementary school students. The background of this research is to describe and want to know the effectiveness of illustrated story media to teach speaking skills to students in elementary schools. This research uses literature study research. The data obtained by the research are journals, reports, articles, and relevant documents that are in accordance with the problems studied. Based on the results of the data analysis conducted by the researchers, a result was obtained, namely the illustrated story media is an effective medium to teach speaking skills possessed by students in elementary schools. With the media picture story, students can improve their speaking skills.

Abstract

Learning in elementary schools is still experiencing problems such as teachers who still have difficulty in choosing and implementing innovative learning models. This study aims to describe the concept of the ARCS type cooperative learning model (Attention, Relevance, Confidence, and Satisfaction) according to John M. Keller and to describe the relevance of the ARCS type cooperative learning model in understanding the concepts of elementary school students. This research uses a qualitative descriptive study approach with the type of library research. Sources of data in this study were obtained from books, research journals, and literature books. The analysis technique of this research uses descriptive analysis method. The results of this study indicate that the concept of cooperative learning model is a learning model that is carried out by forming small groups to learn. The ARCS type of cooperative learning model has relevance in improving students' conceptual understanding in all learning competencies in elementary schools, both in learning science or natural sciences (IPA), mathematics, and social sciences (IPS).

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether or not there is an influence of parental attention on the learning motivation of fifth grade students at an elementary school. The research method used in this research is descriptive quantitative research method. The instrument used for data collection is the parental attention questionnaire instrument and the learning motivation questionnaire in the form of a google form. Based on the results of calculations, From the results of the questionnaire and student scores, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between parents' attention to student learning motivation, this is evidenced by the results of the correlation test with the results of r arithmetic getting 0.472 while r table getting 0.344 so that the interpretation of the correlation test is r count (0.472 ) > from r table(0,344). So with this Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted and Sig.2-tailed <0.05 so it can be concluded that there is indeed a significant relationship between parental attention and learning motivation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find how much the influence storytelling method for speaking skills of elementary school 01 Waru Sidoarjo inter class. The kind of the study use quantitative of kind pre-experimental with one grup desain of pretest-posttest. the sampling technique in this study use purposive sampling technique with certain considerations, which use all members of the population as a sample of 25 students inter A class. the data collection methods are descriptive statistic and analysis prerequisite tests and hypothesis testing. The results of students analysis are speaking skills before using the storytelling method is in the medium category. Furthermore, the T test was compare with a 5% significance level of 1.7081. Then it can be concluded that Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. While the calculation of the level influence obtained 0,91 results which means that there is a large influence in the study, because eta square is 0,91 > 0,41. These results illustrate that the speaking skills of students in class 3 are influenced by using the storytelling method in grade 3 elementary school at Bangah 01 Waru Sidoarjo.

Abstract

The research used is descriptive qualitive research. Aims to knowing the value of dicipline character in grade 4a students at SD Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo. Technique data collection using interview techniques, observation, and documentation with analytical techniques data 1) data reduction 2) data presentation 3) drawing conclusions that are tested for the validity of the data by using sourch triangulation. The results showed that the application of students discipline character values had been realized through the rules and habits of students carried out at school with various activities in the form of 1) routine activities 2) spontaneous activities 3) conditioning activities and 4) exemplary activities. In these activities, grade 4A students’ can run implementation of the four aspects compiled by researchers.
