Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kelayakan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan media scrapbook edukatif bermuatan lokal wisdom untuk meningkatkan kemampuan bercerita pada siswa kelas III SDN 106163 Bandar Klippa. Media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE khususnya bagi siswa kelas III SDN 106163 Bandar Klippa pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Sebanyak 25 siswa kelas III terlibat sebagai subjek penelitian Hasil validasi oleh ahli materi menunjukkan skor tinggi, yaitu 64 dari skor maksimal 75 dengan persentase 85,3% dengan kategori layak. Sementara validasi ahli desain media menunjukkan skor 50 dari skor maksimal 55 dengan persentase 90,9% dengan kategori sangat layak. Guru juga memberikan penilaian dengan persentase 97,3% dengan kategori “Sangat Praktis”. Sedangkan praktikalitas berdasarkan hasil respon siswa memperoleh skor rata-rata 90% dengan kategori “Sangat Praktis”. Evaluasi lebih lanjut menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan kemampuan bercerita siswa, terlihat dari perbandingan skor pretest dan posttest, dimana skor pretest 57,7 dan skor posttest meningkat menjadi 80,7, mencatat peningkatan sebesar 23. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan media scrapbook edukatif bermuatan lokal wisdom layak, praktis, dan efektif.

Abstract

Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Pengaruh kecerdasan intrapersonal terhadap hasil  belajar   Bahasa  Indonesia siswa kelas IV di SDIT Ummi Aida; (2) Pengaruh partisifasi aktif siwa terhadap hasil belajar Bahasa  Indonesia siswa kelas IV di SDIT Ummi Aida; (3) Pengaruh kecerdasan intrapersonal dan partisifasi aktif   siwa terhadap hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas IV di SDIT Ummi Aida. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis data yaitu regresi linier berganda dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05, kemudian pengolahan data yang telah diperoleh dengan bantuan program data SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) versi 22.0. Hasil penelitian yaitu: (1) Kecerdasan intrapersonal secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar Bahasa  Indonesia siswa kelas IV di SDIT Ummi Aida. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa kepuasan  kerja memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar Bahasa  Indonesia siswa kelas IV di SDIT Ummi Aida. (2) Partisipasi aktif siswa secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar Bahasa  Indonesia siswa kelas IV di SDIT Ummi Aida. Hal ini terlihat dari analisis regresi linear berganda melalui uji t yang bertanda positif. (3) Kecerdasan intrapersonal dan Partisipasi aktif siswa Berpengaruh Terhadap hasil belajar Bahasa  Indonesia siswa kelas IV di SDIT Ummi Aida.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media gambar terhadap hasil terhadap keterampilan menulis puisi siswa kelas IV SD Swasta Attaufiq Medan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain one group pretest-postest design, yakni memberikan tes awal (pretest) sebelum diberikan perlakuan barulah memberikan tes akhir (posttest). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes berbentuk keterampilan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas IV berjumlah 22 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah total sampel, dimana jumlah sampel sama dengan jumlah populasi, sehingga sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 22 siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji paired samples t test berbantuan SPPS 25. Berdasarkan hasil uji-t, diketahui bahwa nilai pada kolom sig.(2-tailed) sebesar 0,000. Mengacu pada hasil yang didapatkan, jika dibandingkan dengan nilai signifikansi 0,05, maka dapat diketahui bahwa 0,000 < 0,05. Hal tersebut berarti bahwa H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima yang berarti terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada media gambar terhadap hasil terhadap keterampilan menulis puisi siswa kelas IV SD Swasta Attaufiq Medan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model English With Fun berbantuan media SPC (Series Picture Card) terhadap kemampuan membaca siswa kelas IV di SDN 122357 Pematangsiantar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain pre-experimental. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SDN 122357 Pematangsiantar, dan sampel diambil secara acak berjumlah 32 siswa. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes kemampuan membaca Bahasa Inggris yang mengukur aspek word recognition, pronunciation, vocabulary comprehension, dan reading fluency. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model English With Fun berbantuan media SPC secara signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan membaca siswa dibandingkan pembelajaran konvensional. Dengan demikian, model ini efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca Bahasa Inggris siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of Indonesian language of fifth grade students of SDN 101777 Saentis which are still below the Learning Objectives Achievement Criteria (KKTP). This condition is caused by learning that is still teacher-centered, so that active student involvement in the learning process is still low and has an impact on decreasing motivation and student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the effect of the Round Table type cooperative learning model on the learning outcomes of Indonesian language of fifth grade students of SDN 101777 Saentis. The research method used is a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study were all fifth grade students totaling 56 students, with samples of class V-A as the experimental class and class V-B as the control class, each consisting of 28 students. The data collection technique used a multiple-choice learning outcome test. Data analysis was carried out through prerequisite tests, namely normality and homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing using the t-test. The results of the study showed that the average posttest score of the experimental class was 82, while the control class was 72. The results of the hypothesis test showed that the significance value was less than 0.05 (Sig. <0.05), so it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the use of the Round Table type cooperative learning model on the Indonesian language learning outcomes of class V students of SDN 101777 Saentis.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using Flipbook media on students’ learning outcomes in English learning for 5th grade students at SD Negeri 060786 in the 2025/2026 academic year. The research employed a pre-experimental method using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research sample consisted of all 5th grade students at SD Negeri 060786, selected through a total sampling technique, resulting in 18 students as participants. The research instrument was a set of 22 multiple-choice questions. The data analysis results indicated an improvement in students’ average learning outcomes, increasing from 41 in the pretest to 80 in the posttest. The hypothesis testing using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test showed a significance value of 0.001 (sig < 0.05), indicating that the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of Flipbook media has a significant effect on students’ learning outcomes in English learning for 5th grade students at SD Negeri 060786 in the 2025/2026 academic year.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using Augmented Reality (AR)-based interactive reading books on improving vocabulary mastery of second-grade students at UPT SD Negeri 066056 Medan Denai in the 2025/2026 Academic Year. This study used a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study were all second-grade students, consisting of two classes: class II-A as the experimental class and class II-B as the control class. The study sample consisted of 40 students, with each class consisting of 20 students. The research instrument used was a vocabulary mastery test in the form of a pre-test and a post-test consisting of 20 multiple-choice questions. Data analysis was conducted through normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing using the Independent Sample t-test. The results of the data analysis showed that the average post-test score in the experimental class was 75.5, higher than the control class, which was 65.5. Based on the t-test results, the α-value of 2.529 and α-value of 2.024 were obtained at a significance level (Sig.) of 0.05. Therefore, H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of interactive reading books based on Augmented Reality (AR) significantly improved vocabulary mastery among second-grade students at UPT SD Negeri 066056 Medan Denai

This study aims to determine the effect of online game addiction on the reading ability of fifth-grade students at SDN 101779 Percut. The research used a descriptive quantitative approach with a survey method. The sample consisted of 36 students from classes V-A and V-B. Data were collected through an online game addiction questionnaire and a reading ability observation test. The instruments were tested for validity and reliability, and the data were analyzed using normality test, linearity test, simple linear regression, Product Moment correlation, coefficient of determination, and hypothesis testing with IBM SPSS Statistics 32. The results showed that students’ online game addiction tended to be high, with 20 students or 55.55% classified in the high and very high categories. Meanwhile, students’ reading ability tended to be low, with 15 students or 41.66% classified in the low and very low categories. The regression equation was Y = 97.989 - 0.638X with a significance value of < 0.001. The correlation coefficient was r = -0.846, indicating a very strong negative relationship. The coefficient of determination was 0.716, meaning that online game addiction contributed 71.6% to students’ reading ability. Therefore, online game addiction has a negative and significant effect on students’ reading ability. Abstract

An Analysis of Students’ Misconceptions in Learning the Topic of Changes in States of Matter at SDS Pelangi Medan. Undergraduate Thesis. Primary School Teacher Education Study Program, Faculty of Education, Universitas Negeri Medan, 2026. This study aimed to describe the misconceptions of fifth-grade students at SDS Pelangi Medan regarding the concept of changes in states of matter, identify the factors contributing to these misconceptions, and describe the teacher’s efforts to overcome them. This study employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. The research subjects consisted of 15 fifth-grade students and one fifth-grade teacher at SDS Pelangi Medan. Data were collected through a diagnostic test based on the Certainty of Response Index (CRI), semi-structured interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The validity of the data was ensured through source triangulation and technique triangulation. The findings revealed that most students experienced misconceptions regarding the concepts of changes in states of matter. Out of 15 students, 12 were identified as having misconceptions, while 3 demonstrated an appropriate understanding of the scientific concepts. Misconceptions were found in the concepts of melting, freezing, evaporation, condensation, sublimation, and deposition. The identified misconceptions included the belief that evaporated water disappears completely, that water droplets on the outside of a cold glass come from water leaking through the glass, and that changes in states of matter produce new substances. Factors contributing to these misconceptions included students’ prior incorrect understanding, everyday experiences that conflicted with scientific explanations, limited use of concrete learning media, and a lack of experimental activities during instruction. The teacher’s efforts to address these misconceptions included re-explaining the material, providing concrete examples, conducting simple demonstrations, facilitating discussions, and engaging students in question-and-answer activities. The study concludes that misconceptions regarding changes in states of matter are still prevalent among fifth-grade students at SDS Pelangi Medan. Therefore, learning activities should emphasize direct experiences, the use of concrete learning media, and experimental activities to help students develop a more accurate conceptual understanding.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Guided Reading method on the reading comprehension skills of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 105288 Sei Rotan. This research employed a quantitative approach with a Pre-Experimental Design in the form of a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research subjects consisted of 34 students selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through tests, observations, and documentation. The research instrument was tested through validity, reliability, difficulty level, and discrimination index tests. The data were analyzed using the Shapiro-Wilk normality test and Paired Sample t-Test hypothesis testing with the assistance of IBM SPSS Statistics.The results showed an improvement in students’ reading comprehension skills after the implementation of the Guided Reading method. The average pretest score of 62.12 increased to 85.15 in the posttest, with an improvement of 23.03 points. The minimum score increased from 50 to 76, and the maximum score increased from 75 to 94. The normality test results showed that the data were normally distributed, with significance values of 0.432 for the pretest and 0.179 for the posttest (> 0.05). The results of the Paired Sample t-Test showed a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a t-count value of 58.653 > t-table 2.034, indicating that H₀ was rejected and Hₐ was accepted. Therefore, the Guided Reading method has a significant effect on improving the reading comprehension skills of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 105288 Sei Rotan.
