Abstract

The seaport as a gateway to the regional, national and international economy must pay attention to the performance of operational services, including the level of service quality of ships, goods and port facilities. Activities at the port such as sea transportation operations must be reported to the Port Operator in accordance with the format of the ship arrival and departure report (LK3) which includes the type of ship, docking terminal, arrival time data and departure time from the Port. One perspective of port performance measurement is ship service which can be measured from how long the ship is at the terminal until it leaves the port. This research method uses a quantitative approach and the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method. This study aims to determine the statistical approach and measure port performance, namely turnaround time and performance efficiency. The results of the study for 2022 obtained for the type of container ship, Tanjung Emas Port has a turnaround time of 23 hours while Tanjung Priok Port and Tanjung Perak Port are more than 24 hours and port performance efficiency with DEA efficient rating value Ѳ =1 at Tanjung Priok and Tanjung Perak ports.

Abstract

This research explores the perspectives of 100 cadets studying multimodal transportation on integrating Internet of Things (IoT) to enhance port security and predictive maintenance. Using qualitative methods, including interviews and document analysis, the study investigates the effectiveness of IoT in real-time monitoring, data security, and predictive maintenance. The findings highlight cadets' recognition of IoT's potential to transform port operations, particularly in improving security measures and maintenance strategies. Cadets also emphasize the importance of professionalism and adherence to standards in IoT integration, valuing compliance with standards, understanding of IoT, training and education, and ethical considerations. The research underscores the need for continuous education and training programmes to prepare future industry professionals for the challenges and opportunities presented by IoT technologies. Overall, this study contributes to the advancement of knowledge in transportation management and education, offering insights for policymakers, industry practitioners, and educators on the integration of IoT in port operations.

Abstract

Health is very important for all humans, because without good health it will be difficult to carry out daily activities. According to the Health Law Number 36 Year 2009 Article 1 "Health is a healthy state, both physically, mentally, spiritually and socially that allows everyone to live socially and economically productive". In the world of work, health is one of the main things that workers must have to do their work. Including in the world of shipping both on land and at sea. Workers at sea, especially ship crews at work, must be in good health so that they can carry out activities on board as much as possible. Before the ship's crew boarded the ship, the ship's crew had to do a medical check-up as a mandatory requirement to board the ship. Every three or six months the ship's crew will make a crew change because the work contract has expired and the ship will look for a replacement crew to work on the ship. During the Covid-19 pandemic, crew changes experienced obstacles because the spread of this virus was quite fast. All regions in the world are currently implementing strict health protocols to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic. Especially for ship crews, they also implement strict procedures to deal with Covid-19. During a pandemic. During this pandemic, the challenges faced by the manning division are very high where the process of changing ship crews is very difficult to carry out, while the crew on board the ship has expired. Another challenge faced when changing crews is that there is no standby crew so that the crew's working period on the ship is not in accordance with the previously agreed Sea Work Agreement.

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine the effect and analysis of the relationship between Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) practices, like Green Recruitment and Green Training, on Turnover Intention. The data set used in this research consists of 90 respondents selected from employees belonging to the Millennial generation at one State-Owned Enterprise, i.e., PT XYZ, Ngurah Rai Bali Airport branch. Also, in this study, Structural Equation Model (SEM) has been used as an analytical tool using Partial Least Squares (PLS). The results showed that: (1) there is a negative impact between Green Recruitment on turnover intention, and (2) there is a negative impact between Green Training on Turnover Intention
