Abstract

Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) adalah salah satu ilmu pengetahuan yang diajarkan dalam pendidikan di Indonesia. Pendidikan dan Pembelajaran IPS memiliki peran yang sangat strategis baik di tinjau dari aspek akademik maupun kepentingan berbangsa dan bernegara. dijelaskan bahwa IPS merupakan kajian yang wajib dimuat dalam kurikulum Pendidikan Dasar dan Menengah yang antara lain mencakup ilmu geografi, sejarah, ekonomi, dan sosiologi yang dimaksudkan untuk mengembangkan pengetahuan, pemahaman, dan kemampuan analisis peserta didik terhadap kondisi sosial masyarakat. Pengamatan dalam kegiatan penelitian difungsikan sebagai salah satu cara untuk membawa keadaan yang nyata kepada peserta didik. Secara tidak langsung sebagai contoh nyata dari ilmu sosial yang sedang dipelajari, menerapkan dengan metode penelitian kuantitatif sehingga dapat diartikan sebagai metode yang digunakan untuk meneliti pada populasi atau sampel tertentu, pengumpulan data menggunakan intrumen penelitian, analisis data bersifat statistik, dengan tujuan untuk menguji hipotesis yang telah ditetapkan. hasil yang ditunjukkan dari suatu interaksi tindak belajar dan ditunjukkan dengan nilai tes yang diberikan oleh guru. Untuk mengukur hasil belajar peserta didik mendapatkan pengajaran yang lebih yang efektif perlu adanya inovasi terbaru dengan memanfaatkan perkembangan teknologi slah satunya dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran melalui Adobe Animate Creative Cloud. Media yang menarik dan menyenangkan dapat memberikan manfaat sehingga meningkatnya hasil belajar peserta didik dalam proses belajar. Media pembelajaran juga dapat memperjelas penyajian informasi sehingga dapat memudahkan penyerapan materi pembelajaran kepada peserta didik serta membantu para guru mengembakan pembelajaran yang lebih kreatif dan inovatif

Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kritis merupakan kemampuan yang harus dimiliki oleh setiap peserta didik, kemampuan menghubungkan kognitif dengan dunia luar sehingga mampu membuat keputusan, pertimbangan, tindakan, dan keyakinan. Berdasarkan pra-penelitian menunjukan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik masih rendah. Salah satu pendekatan yang dapat membantu meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik yaitu dengan pendekatan saintifik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan saintifik terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif, jenis penelitian ini menggunakan quasy eskperimen, sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VII SMP Asy-Syarifiyah Garut, tehnik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sample rondom sampling, dimana kelas VII-A merupakan kelas eksperimen dan kelas VII-B merupakan kelas kontrol penelitian dengan materi dinamika penduduk indonesia. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk kemampuan berpikir kritis adalah pilihan ganda. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pengelolaan data menggunakan uji mann whitney diperoleh nilai Sig.0.021 dan α = 0,05 berarti Sig. < α, maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Artinya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap Kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik selama pembelajaran yang diterapkan pada kelas eksperimen yaitu dengan menggunakan pendekatan saintifik (VII-A) lebih berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik dibandingkan dengan peserta didik yang tidak menggunakan pendekatan konvensional.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to find ways to grow social behavior in students as part of strengthening in developing social skills in students, especially in the 21st century area. Theen develop attitude of social concern that include emphaty and symphaty between individual students in the social order environment that is in the mindst of the global era, as part of strengtheningthe values and character of students who are embedded through learning social science. This research approach uses of qualitative approach whit the type of metho used in the case study method. Data collection techniques used interviews, observations, documentations studies and data triangulation. The results showed that (1) bullying behavior is a complex problem that has occurd in the school environment for a long time, both in the learning process and outside the learning process; (2) there are two main factors that cause bullying, namely internal factors that come from withnin the individual and external factors aas factors that influence from outside; (3) the efforts of social studies teachers in reducing bullying behaviour among students, especially in the 21st century area through classroom learning that interrelates with lerning matrial and students area given an understanding of the concpt of carring for one another as part of character and cn become social skills as a provision in carrying out the order of life in the educational and social enviroment. Abstract

ABSTRACTHashtag plays a role as the key to global social change while education plays a role as a tool to optimize it. A topic discussed in this study is that a research on viral hashtag has not been found as a medium for character education for netizens. The research problems formulated in this study are viral Twitter hashtags and the concept of viral hashtags as a medium for character education for netizens. This study aims to determine the patterns of viral hashtags on Twitter and to find out the concept of viral hashtags as a medium for character building for netizens. This study has the benefit of complementing the concept of character education in the technology era and helping people become netizens with character. The research used a qualitative approach with discourse analysis. The objects of this study are viral hashtags, while the subjects are netizens. The samples of this study are the hashtag #dajjal found on Twitter. The instruments used are observation and document notes. The data dealing with character education were analyzed and triangulated. The results of this study show that: 1) viral hashtags are used to share knowledge, pray, opinions, discussions, social movements, peace mediators, entertainment, and personal interests; 2) the concept of character education for netizens, namely viral hashtags as a medium for conveying knowledge, expression, declaration, clarification, action, and control values.Keywords: hashtags, media, character education, netizens, Twitter ABSTRAKTagar sebagai kunci perubahan sosial global dan pendidikan sebagai alat untuk mengoptimalnya. Masalah penelitian pada kajian ini yaitu belum ditemukan penelitian tagar viral sebagai media pendidikan karakter bagi netizen. Rumusan masalahnya adalah pola penggunaan tagar Twitter yang viral dan konsep tagar viral sebagai media pendidikan karakter bagi netizen. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pola penggunaan tagar yang viral di media sosial Twitter dan juga untuk mengetahui konsep tagar viral sebagai media pembinaan karakter netizen. Penelitian ini memiliki manfaat untuk melengkapi konsep pendidikan karakter era teknologi dan membantu masyarakat menjadi netizen yang berkarakter. Penelitian menggunakan: pendekatan kualitatif; analisis wacana; objek penelitian berupa tagar viral; subjeknya adalah netizen; sampel berupa tagar #dajjal; observasi; catatan dokumen; analisis tinjauan pendidikan karakter; dan triangulasi teori. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu: 1) tagar viral digunakan untuk berbagi ilmu, berdoa, beropini, diskusi, gerakan sosial, mediator perdamaian, hiburan, dan kepentingan pribadi; 2) konsep pendidikan karakter bagi netizen yaitu tagar viral sebagai media penyampai pengetahuan nilai (values knowledge), ekspresi keyakinan nilai (values express), deklasari pilihan nilai (values declare), klarifikasi nilai (values clarification), aksi nilai (values action), dan pengontrol nilai (values control).Kata Kunci: Tagar, media, pendidikan karakter, netizen, Twitter

Abstract

Dampak negatif pencemaran limbah kemasan pada lingkungan akibat dari kegiatan konsumsi dapat dicegah dengan mendidik konsumen salah satunya dengan menerapkan pemahaman konsep ecoliteracy. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan melihat efektivitas dari media Vlog perilaku Green Consumer terhadap pemahaman konsep ecoliteracy peserta didik kelas VII di SMPN 4 Tarogong Kidul. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre-eksperimental dengan desain the-one group pretest-posttest. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII-H SMPN 4 Tarogong Kidul. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa tes dan lembar observasi. Setelah data terkumpul kemudian diolah menggunakan uji hipotesis atau uji t menggunakan aplikasi SPSS v26. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan pemahaman konsep ecoliteracy peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan treatment media Vlog Perilaku Green Consumer. Perbedaan pemahaman konsep ecoliteracy peserta didik berdasarkan uji hipotesis menunjukkan nilai (Sig 2-tailed) yaitu 0,000 < 0,05, dengan begitu H1 diterima atau hipotesis diterima dan H0 ditolak. Sehingga media Vlog perilaku Green Consumer efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman kosep ecoliteracy peserta didik kelas VII di SMPN 4 Tarogong Kidul

Abstract

Environmental-based education at this time has a very important meaning in building students' character, with social studies learning resources that can be used as a medium to internalize the traditional values that exist in the student environment. An educator must also better understand and master the tradition. This study aims to build student character and expand environmental-based social studies learning resources by introducing the values of the rebo wekasan tradition in the learner's environment. This research method is qualitative with interview data collection techniques on community leaders in Singajaya District. The results of this study are the values contained in the rebo wekasan tradition, namely (1) religious values, attitudes closer to God, and tolerant of people with different beliefs; (2) the value of sharing or social care, in the rebo wekasan tradition, the community is required to pray or share with fellow humans even though people have different beliefs; (3) cultural values, the Rebo Wekasan tradition has culture and traditions that are believed by Muslims who carry out various traditions such as drinking isim water, eating dupi (ketupat wrapped in bamboo leaves); and (4) historical value, in the implementation of the rebo wekasan tradition, historical values are always instilled in the congregation to provide positive values from various historical deviations in the rebo wekasan situation.

Abstract

The role of the teacher in applying the skill of asking questions during learning. The teacher is an important component in the teaching and learning process. Teachers have a role to form human resources who are professional and responsible for the education of their students, but many students are embarrassed to ask questions. Therefore, to overcome these problems, the Role of the Social Sciences Teacher is needed in Growing Questioning Skills. The goal to be achieved from this research is to find out the role of the social studies teacher in cultivating questioning skills, student responses to the social studies teacher's role in cultivating questioning skills and the constraints experienced. The method used in this research is a qualitative method using a descriptive study approach. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique consists of three stages, namely (1) data reduction, (2) data presentation, and (3) drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that the teacher's role in cultivating questioning skills in Class VII social studies learning at SMPN 2 Tarogong Kidul Garut was quite good, students also performed well regarding the importance of the teacher's role. Students who ask questions will be given answers by the teacher and appreciation in the form of additional points that encourage other students to be active in class. The obstacle faced by the teacher is that there are still students who do not understand the material but are embarrassed to ask questions.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the phenomenon of many social problems, especially in the scope of students' interpersonal skills, which are the center of attention today, because the development of interpersonal skills is important in helping students adjust and form social relationships. The purpose of this study was to analyze the role of social studies teachers in supporting the development of students' interpersonal skills in the school environment. This study uses a quantitative approach to the type of correlational research. The design of this study used ex post facto which was carried out in class VIII at MTs 2 Negeri Garut in the 2021/2022 academic year as the population. The sampling technique used in this study is simple random sampling where this technique provides the same opportunity/opportunity for each element or member of the population selected to be the research sample. The variables in this study include the role of social studies teachers (X) and students' interpersonal skills (Y). The sample in this study amounted to 32 respondents. The instruments used in this research are questionnaires and documentation studies. After the data is collected in hypothesis testing, the product moment correlation test and the coefficient of determination test are used which are processed with the help of SPSS 16 for Windows and Microsoft Excel. The results of the study describe that there is a significant relationship between the teacher's role variable and the interpersonal skills of students at MTs Negeri 2 Garut. The magnitude of the relationship between the two variables is 0.480. Where the value is in the medium category. The magnitude of the contribution of the influence of the teacher's role on the interpersonal skills of students is around 23.1%.

Abstract

The use of learning resources at this time does not only depend on books, especially for social studies lessons which of course the study of the material is closely related to social issues. Global economic competition is certainly a challenge for social studies educators to be able to equip their students to have the ability to collaborate so as to create a competent golden generation, one of the movements in the field of education is by making meaningful learning through the use of contextual learning resources. The purpose of this study is for students to have social skills and to develop scientific treasures related to components in the bird cage handicraft business by making it a social studies learning resource. This study uses a qualitative approach with a qualitative descriptive method using observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study can be summarized into three main points: 1) The transition of the bird cage handicraft business. The community of Ciloa, Mekarsari Village, Selaawi District, which is increasing, provides an overview of economic activities and entrepreneurship so that it can be used as a source of social studies learning at SMP Negeri 1 Selaawi. 2) The existence of bird cage craftsmen provides many benefits to various groups, especially in the social and economic fields so that the existence of bird cage crafts needs to be maintained. 3) The support of social studies educators for implementing bird cage crafts at SMP Negeri 1 Selaawi gives strength to students to learn how the components of bird cage handicraft business are in the hope that students have the ability to maintain bird cages as one of their regional characters so that students have economic provisions in entrepreneurship.
