This research aims to see the effectiveness of using local wisdom-based teaching materials on understanding family tree material in class II students at UPT SD Negeri 002 Kuapan. The type of approach used in this research is a quantitative approach with experimental methods. The form of this research is Pre-Experimental with a One-Group-Pretest-Posttest Design research design. The subjects of this research were class II students at UPT SD Negeri 002 Kuapan as an experimental class. This research used teaching materials based on local wisdom in two learning meetings. The research results show that the pretest results obtained an average of 57.40 and the posttest results were 86.80. Hypothesis test calculations obtained a sig (2-tailed) result of 0.000 0.05 which shows that there is a significant difference in increasing understanding of family genealogy material in class II students at UPT SD Negeri 002 Kuapan before and after using local wisdom-based teaching materials. Based on the results of the N-Gain test, it was found that the experimental class learning outcomes increased by 71.56% in the high and effective category. In observing students' learning activities at meetings I and II, the average percentage score was 81.4% and 82.8% in the Active category.

Children with mentally disable is a children who has cognitive barriers experience, in early reading it is often disturbed by the difficulty of remembering the letters, and also connecting phonemes with the objects. This article presents innovations on how to teach early reading to mentally disable students in elementary schools. The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of how teachers teach early reading to mentally retarded students in elementary schools. This study uses qualitative methods that describe how teachers teach early reading, with the subject of mentally disable classroom teachers at SDLB Kasih Ibu Pekanbaru. Data collection techniques are through observation and interviews. The results of research observation planning data, the teacher gives emphasis to the letters and shows the image in accordance with the initial letter given emphasis, and linking the material with everyday life that can be found by students using an easy to understand reading method. Observation data of the presentation component, the teacher in explaining the material using simple language, by verbal media and giving emphasis to the letters that students’ will be read. The conclusion of this study is the application of one component of the skills explains in teaching initial reading, the component of material presentation in the first day's observations has been going well.

This research was motivated by the large number of students who were less creative in developing their ideas and ideas. SBdP learning is still dominated by students who have an interest in the arts, so students who are less interested in the arts have difficulty understanding SBdP learning material. The purpose of this study is to describe the influence of multicultural learning models on the artistic creativity of grade IV students in SBdP subjects. The research method used is pre-experiment with a quantitative approach. The design of this study is a one-group Pretest-Posttest Design. This study involved 25 students as research subjects. Researchers carry out learning using a multicultural learning model. Students' artistic creativity is measured through a work reference test in the form of collage works. The results showed that the hypothesis tested using the t test obtained a significance of 0.000 < 0.05 so that Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. This finding shows that there is an influence of multicultural learning models on the artistic creativity of grade IV students in SBdP subjects.

The implementation of this research was motivated by a lack of activity and student participation in lectures on elementary school social studies. Students tend to be silent without showing activity during lectures. This is certainly far from what is expected that in the lecture students should ideally participate actively in asking, answering, recording the essence of the lecture, presenting, and concluding the lecture material. The subject of the study was a student of the 2017 B class, which numbered 39 people. The formulation of the problem in this study is whether the application of effective discussion methods to increase the activeness of FKIP UNRI PGSD students in elementary school social studies. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the application of the discussion method in elementary school social studies lectures at the FKIP UNRI PGSD students. This type of research is descriptive with qualitative methods. Data collection techniques are observation and interview techniques. Based on the research data analysis shows that the activeness indicators ask questions, from the four active student meetings an average of 22 people 56. people (61.53%) and Activity Indicators present 26 people (66.66%).41%, indicators respond to questions or opinions, active students 22 people 56.41%, Activity Indicators discuss and work together with active students 26 people (66.66%), Activity Indicators write material and summarize active student material 24. Based on the data that has been obtained, it can be concluded that the application of the discussion method in elementary school social studies

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Project Based Learning (PjBL) dalam meningkatkan karakter kebhinekaan global siswa pada mata pelajaran IPAS dikelas V SD. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen. Adapun desain yang digunakan adalah desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan dua kelas dengan kelas V B sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas V C sebagai kelas eksperimen. Adapun kelas eksperimen diberikan treatment (perlakuan) dan kelas kontrol tidak mendapatkan treatment (perlakuan). Berdasarkan hasil analisis pengujian hipotesis yang telah dilakukan, karakter kebhinekaan global siswa memperoleh hasil signifikan (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, sehingga Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Dengan demikian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model project based learning dalam meningkatkan karakter kebhinekaan global siswa kelas V SD.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara komprehensif berbagai tantangan dan hambatan yang dihadapi orang tua dalam proses pendampingan belajar anak di rumah, khususnya pada jenjang sekolah dasar. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan desain penelitian survei terhadap orang tua siswa kelas VI SDN 125 Pekanbaru. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner tervalidasi yang terdiri dari 24 butir pernyataan mencakup enam aspek utama: ketersediaan waktu, metode bimbingan, motivasi belajar, kondisi lingkungan, ketegasan orang tua, dan kemampuan mendengarkan anak. Analisis data dilakukan melalui teknik statistik deskriptif untuk mengidentifikasi pola dan kecenderungan dalam praktik pendampingan belajar. Temuan penelitian mengungkap adanya kesenjangan antara harapan ideal dan realitas pelaksanaan pendampingan belajar di rumah, yang dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor eksternal dan internal. Studi ini juga menyoroti dinamika interaksi antara orang tua dan anak dalam konteks pembelajaran rumah, serta implikasinya terhadap perkembangan akademik dan psikologis anak. Hasil penelitian memberikan kontribusi penting bagi pengembangan model pendampingan belajar yang lebih efektif, serta menjadi dasar rekomendasi bagi penyusunan kebijakan pendidikan berbasis keluarga. Implikasi praktis dari temuan ini dapat digunakan untuk merancang program pelatihan dan pendampingan bagi orang tua dalam meningkatkan kualitas interaksi pembelajaran dengan anak di rumah

This study aims to develop domino card media of fraction for independent learning of fourth grade elementary school students in the new normal era. This research was motivated by the lack of learning media that can be used for students, especially when studying independently at home. The development of fraction domino card media was carried out using the method Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate) development procedure. The trial subjects of this study consisted of one-on-one trials with 3 student and limited trials with 4 students. This research was conducted in one of the homes of the fourth grade students of SDN 147 Pekanbaru in October 2020. The assessment of the validation of fraction domino card media products got a validation percentage score, namely media experts at 95.83% in the "Very Valid" category, and from material experts 89.06% with the "Very Valid" category. The overall student response to the fraction domino card media that was developed was 90.625% in the "Very Good" category and the response of the parents to the fractioned domino card media developed overall got a percentage score of 95.13% in the "Very Good" category. The implication of this research is that fraction domino card media has the potential to support students learning from home

This study aims to develop big book media for learning Indonesian in grade 3 elementary school and to determine the feasibility of big book learning media. This research uses research and development (R&D) methods using the FOUR-D (Define, Design, Develop and Disseminte) model. The data collection technique used is by using questionnaires and trials. The feasibility of big book learning media is obtained from the results of media validation and testing. Validation was carried out by material experts and learning media experts. The results of the research show that the validation of the material experts and the validation of the learning media experts are very valid. The trials used in this study were limited to 10 students and received a very good response. The results of this development research indicate that the big book media for learning Indonesian in grade 3 Elementary School is very suitable for use in learning in Elementary School.Â

This study aims to produce a folklore comic about the origin of the sungai sorai for fifth grade elementary school students and to determine the feasibility of the sungai sorai origin folklore comic for fifth grade elementary school students. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method or research and development using the Four-D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Data collection techniques used are interviews, questionnaires and written tests. The feasibility of folklore comics was obtained from the results of validation, product trials and written tests. Validation is carried out by design experts, linguists and practitioners. The product trials conducted were limited to only 10 students. The written test used is in the form of objective questions to determine students' knowledge and understanding of folklore comics. The results showed that the validation of design experts obtained an assessment with a very valid category. In validation, linguists obtained an assessment with a very valid category. The next validation is practitioner validation with a very valid category. The product trial used is a limited product trial with the category of student response assessment which is very good. The student's written test in the form of objective questions about folklore comics received an assessment in the very good category. The results of this development research indicate that the folklore comic "The Origin of the Sungai Sorai" is very suitable for use for fifth grade elementary school students.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan minat baca mahasiswa Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan di perpustakaan Universitas Riau. Metode kuantitatif deskriptif digunakan untuk mendapatkan gambaran minat baca mahasiswa Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan di perpustakaan Universitas Riau. Sampel penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Universitas Riau yang berjumlah 113 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah kuesioner terkait minat baca yang terdiri dari pernyataan positif dan negatif, dengan jawaban berupa pilihan selalu, sering, kadang-kadang dan tidak pernah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa minat baca mahasiwa Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Riau berada pada kategori tinggi dengan persentase sebesar 66,2%. Faktor yang mempengaruhi minat baca mahasiswa yang terdiri dari faktor dorongan, motif sosial, emosional, situasi belajar dan pengalaman. Jadi, faktor yang memiliki konstribusi terbesar yaitu faktor dorongan dengan dengan persentase keseluruhan yaitu 22,4%. Hasil ini juga menunjukkan bahwa faktor yang mempengaruhi minat baca mahasiswa sangat beragam.
