Abstract

Creating a Sakinah Mawaddah and Warohmah family is the dream of every human being. How happy we are to have a family filled with mutual love, affection, protection and respect. But it turns out that creating a family like that is not a flip of the palm. It requires hard work and support from all parties in the family, including father, mother and children. The aim of this activity is to develop the Nagari Batang Arah Tapan Community into a Sakinah Family through a da'wah approach.

Abstract

This research aims to identify whether introducing English vocabulary through tutoring can enhance students' vocabulary comprehension. The research design employed is an experimental study. This study measures students' vocabulary comprehension before and after the intervention of introducing vocabulary through tutoring. The research was conducted at Batang Arah Tapan Elementary School, involving an experimental group receiving the intervention and a control group. The results of the research indicate that the learning process through tutoring in Nagari Batang Arah, Tapan, successfully created a positive and enthusiastic environment for students. Children showed enthusiasm in acquiring new knowledge, particularly in understanding English vocabulary that had not been previously taught in school. The hypothesis testing results show a significant difference in English vocabulary comprehension between the experimental and control groups. This suggests that introducing English vocabulary through tutoring effectively enhances students' vocabulary comprehension

Abstract

Mahasiswa harus menguasai manajemen, pengelolaan kutipan atau referensi dari berbagai jenis jurnal agar dapat menghasikan output ilmiah yang baik. Tujuan pelatihan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan mahasiswa dalam manajemen referensi dan peningkatan kualitas karya ilmiah. Program kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) memiliki harapan untuk mengajarkan dan mengarahkan mahasiswa- mahasiswi IAIN Kerinci dalam mengoperasikan aplikasi Mendeley untuk membuat kutipan dan referensi artikel secara mudah dan praktis. Acara pembelajaran Mendeley secara offline ini diadakan disalah satu ruang kelas yang terdapat pada R.KT lantai 1A.2 IAIN Kerinci pada tanggal 13 oktober 2022 dengan anggota dari mahasiswa 20 peserta. Beberapa metode PKM ini meliputi: metode ceramah oleh para pembicara, latihan atau praktik oleh para peserta, pengarahan kepada peserta pelatihan, dan Tanya jawab. Dari hasil post test dapat dilihat bahwa peserta pelatihan mengalami peningatan dalam pengoperasioan Mandeley sebagai manajemen referensi dalam sebuah karya ilmiah.

Abstract

Dakwah content is material or content created and delivered with the aim of spreading the teachings of Islam and transforming the thoughts, attitudes, and actions of individuals or communities to be closer to Allah SWT. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive with a phenomenological approach. The research findings indicate that dakwah content covering religious topics, social issues, and personal lives of teenagers has an appeal to them. Dakwah practitioners need to act as filters and ensure that the dakwah content delivered through digital media, including YouTube, has beneficial value and aligns with religious teachings. Digital media, especially YouTube, provides great opportunities to spread positive and valuable dakwah messages. Dakwah content has significant potential for growth through the use of digital media, particularly the YouTube platform. However, dakwah practitioners need to address challenges such as appropriate use of digital media, considering controversies in dakwah content, and understanding the interests and needs of their audience. In facing controversies surrounding dakwah content on the YouTube platform, the complex differences in perspectives should be acknowledged. Therefore, it is important to use appropriate language, select non-controversial dakwah materials, and maintain the accuracy and validity of the content delivered. These steps are taken to avoid unwanted controversies and prevent potential negative impacts. Keywords: dakwah content, digital media, YouTube, religious topics, controversy

Abstract

Kesehatan Gigi dan mulut merupakan bagian dari kesehatan tubuh secara keseluruhan. Salah satu penyebab timbulnya masalah kesehatan gigi dan mulut dalam masyarakat adalah faktor perilaku atau sikap mengabaikan kebersihan gigi dan mulut. Untuk mengedukasi cara menyikat gigi yang baik pada siswa di SDN 08 Pasar 60, mahasiswa Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) melakukan sosialisasi pentingnya menjaga kesehatan gigi dan mulut. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan sosialisasi dan praktek langsung menyikat gigi yang baik. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan pengetahuan siswa menjadi meningkatkan terkait pemahaman dalam menyikat gigi yang benar. Kegiatan sosialisasi juga dapat menjadi upaya dalam mengurangi angka kejadian penyakit gigi dan mulut pada anak-anak

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to compare the use of social media and online discussion forums as tools to enhance interaction and collaboration among students in higher education institutions. The research method employed is a quantitative approach with an experimental research design. The research sample consists of two groups of students, one group using social media as a means of interaction and collaboration, and the other group using online discussion forums. Data were collected through questionnaires measuring the level of interaction and collaboration among students in each group. Additionally, data were gathered through participatory observation to directly observe interactions. Data analysis was conducted using appropriate statistical techniques to compare the differences between the two groups. The results indicate that both groups of students experienced increased interaction and collaboration after using social media and online discussion forums. However, there was no significant difference in the increase of interaction between the two groups. Nevertheless, a significant difference was found in the level of collaboration, with the group using online discussion forums showing a more significant increase in collaboration compared to the social media group. These findings suggest that both social media and online discussion forums are effective in enhancing interaction among students in higher education institutions, but online discussion forums are more effective in fostering better collaboration among them. This study provides important insights for educational institutions in choosing and optimizing the use of communication platforms to enhance student interaction and collaboration. It also highlights the potential of online discussion forums as an effective tool in creating a more collaborative learning environment in higher education. Abstract

There are no written regulations containing prohibitions and threats of criminal The definition of a child according to Law number 23 of 2002 in conjunction with Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning child protection Article 1 paragraph (1) is someone who is not yet 18 (eighteen) years old, including children who are still in the womb. The problem in this research is how is the legal protection of children as victims of bullying at Batang Arah Tapan Elementary School and what factors become obstacles to legal protection of children as victims of bullying at the Batang Arah Tapan Public Elementary School. The type of research used is empirical and the whole is done using qualitative research methods. Batang Arah Tapan Public Elementary School has not maximally provided legal protection for children who are victims of bullying because according to the author's research sanctions against perpetrators of bullying perpetrated by the school. Factors inhibiting legal protection for children who are victims of bullying at public elementary schools in Batang Arah Tapan include the factor of parents who pay less attention to children because they are busy. Apart from that, there is a phenomenon in society that bullying is not considered a serious problem.

Abstract

Di era globalisasi zaman sekarang, yang mana perkembangan teknologi semakin pesat.dilihat secara umum teknologi dibuat bertujuan untuk mempermudah urusan manusia, akan tetapi dengan berkembangnya teknologi tersebut, tentu banyak dampak yang muncul didalam teknologi itu sendiri, baik dari dampak positif maupun dari dampak negatif.khususnya bagi pelajar karena mereka tidak terkontrol saat menggunakan teknologi tersebut. Oleh sebab itu, perlu adanya sosialisasi untuk meningkatkan kembali dan memotivasi para pelajar agar berhati-hati saat menggunakan teknologi. Metode penyampaiaan sosialisasi adalah menggunakan metode ceramah dan diskusi, sehingga dengan metode ini, para pelajar lebih mudah mengerti sarta memahami dalam penyampaian sosialisasi tersebut. Di lihat dari kuisioner, menunjukkan bahwa pelajar semakin meningkat pengertian dan kepemahaman nya setelah dilaksanakan sosialsasi. Dengan adanya acara ini diharapkan kepada para pelajar supaya tidak terjerumus didalam hal-hal yang negatif saat berteknologi serta menjadi popular dalam berteknologi

Abstract

This study aims to explore the effectiveness of the story selling communication strategy on Instagram in increasing sales of Sayur Organik Merbabu (SOM). The results of this study indicate that the story selling strategy on Instagram is effective in increasing SOM sales. By exploring the emotional connection between consumers and products, stories about local farmers, organic farming methods, and commitment to environmental sustainability have succeeded in building a strong and authentic brand image. Consumers feel more connected to this product because they see and understand the natural and environmentally friendly behind-the-scenes process. Transparency in the production process is key to increasing consumer trust in SOM products. By honestly showing how vegetables are grown, harvested, and processed without chemicals. In this case, education about the benefits of organic vegetables also plays an important role in building consumer awareness and trust. In addition, the use of attractive and high-quality visuals, such as images and videos, as well as the use of Instagram features such as stories, reels, and IGTV, help convey stories dynamically and interactively. The use of relevant hashtags and collaboration with influencers have also proven effective in increasing the visibility of SOM accounts on Instagram. In conclusion, this study shows that the story selling strategy on Instagram is not only an effective marketing tool to increase sales, but also a means to build stronger and more sustainable relationships with consumers. This study provides valuable insights for organic vegetable businesses to adopt a similar approach in their digital marketing strategies, as well as to utilize social media more effectively to build brand awareness and consumer trust in the future.

Abstract

Awal 2020 Covid 19 mulai masuk ke Indonesia, jumlah yang terjangkit makin banyak. Perlu adanya pencegahan agar dapat mengurangi resiko penyebaran. Keluarga merupakan unit terkecil yang mempunyai peran penting dalam mencegah penyebaran Covid 19. Penelitian ini ingin melihat bagaimana pengaruh komunikasi keluarga terhadap tingkat pencegahan penyebaran Covid 19 di Kerinci. Metode penelitian kunatitatif deskriptif dengan jenis explanatori, dengan mengunakan analisis regresi sederhana dibantu dengan menggunakan SPSS 25. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori orientasi kepenurutan. Hasil penelitian pengaruh signifikan antara komunikasi keluarga terhadap tingkat pencegahan penyebaran Covid 19 di Kerinci. Saran dari penelitian ini adalah perlu adanya kesadaran untuk tidak membuang sisa masker dan tisu yang sudah dipakai, berpergian jauh, dan melaporkan kondisi kesehatan kepada petugas.
