Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Implementasi pendidikan agama Islam dalam membangun nilai-nilai religius di Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) Negeri 1 Angkola Timur Kabupaten Tapanuli Selatan (2) Upaya sekolah untuk menunjang implementasi pendidikan agama Islam dalam membangun nilai-nilai religius siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Angkola Timur Kabupaten Tapanuli Selatan. (3) Pembelajaran intrakulikuler yang dilakukan guru pendidikan agama islam dalam membangun nilai-nilai religius di SMA Negeri 1 Angkola Timur Kabupaten Tapanuli Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Implementasi pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam dalam membangun nilai-nilai religius yang dilakukan yaitu pelaksanaan sholat siswa yang diawasai oleh guru dan orangtua, pembiasaan bersedekah, pembiasaan bertutur kata yang baik dan sopan, menguatkan nilai-nilai toleransi antar umat beragama. Upaya dalam membentuk nilai-nilai religius pada siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Angkola Timur adalah dengan guru memberikan penjelasan tentang perkembangan pendidikan agama Islam kepada siswa, dan juga menyelenggarakan berbagai kegiatan serta guru bekerja sama dengan orangtua dalam membentuk nilai-nilai religius. Pembelajaran intrakurikuler pendidikan agama Islam dalam membentuk nilai-nilai religius peserta didik dijalankan dengan pendekatan sistematis, mengacu pada kurikulum 2013, dan mengikuti unsur-unsur pembelajaran yang telah ditetapkan.

Abstract

Teachers are examples and facilitators for students in the teaching and learning process to achieve optimal competence. Teachers should be able to adjust learning resources that are useful and can support education and the goals and teaching and learning processes, both in the form of resource persons, textbooks, magazines, and newspapers. In addition, one of the efforts that can be made by a teacher in guiding or teaching students to understand the material well is by using teaching materials. This study aims to (1) produce PAI Fiqh teaching materials in Phase B, (2) produce a design for PAI Fiqh teaching materials in Phase B that are feasible in terms of validity, practicality, and effectiveness, The research method used is development research with the ADDIE model (analyze, design, development, implementation and evaluation). The subjects of the study were PAI teachers at SD Negeri 0909 Aliaga. Data collection in this study used an interview list, and a test instrument for the feasibility of the guide material, a test instrument for the feasibility of the guide display and a test instrument for the usability of the guide. The research data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, qualitative analysis and nonparametric analysis with the Kendall's Coefficient (W) statistical test and the Wilcoxon Rank Test. The results of the research show that: (1) the teaching materials used by PAI teachers are appropriate in terms of content and material, (2) the teaching materials can be used by PAI teachers and can be implemented well with students, (3) the level of appropriateness of the material is in the very feasible category with the percentage is 88.62%, and the display is in the very decent category with a percentage of 89.28%, and the level of use of guidance by PAI teachers is in the good category with a percentage of 74.66%. There was a significant increase in students' understanding results after PAI teachers used teaching materials that had been designed using the ADDIE model, so that these teaching materials could be said to be effective for PAI teachers to use in the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of school Leadership, reward systems, and teacher commitment on the effectiveness of private Islamic Senior High Schools (Madrasah Aliyah) in one province in Indonesia. This study aims to determine the individual and simultaneous contributions of these three variables in improving institutional effectiveness. Using a quantitative, survey-based approach, this study involved 91 teachers: 30 in the pilot study and 61 in the main sample. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire and analyzed using path analysis to assess the direct and indirect effects between variables. The findings revealed that school Leadership, reward systems, and teacher commitment each had a positive and significant impact on madrasah effectiveness. Among these variables, teacher commitment emerged as the most dominant factor. Together, the three variables accounted for 97.3 percent of the variance in madrasah effectiveness. These results highlight that the managerial and human dimensions play a crucial role in improving the performance of Islamic educational institutions, particularly in archipelagic regions characterized by diverse geographic and social conditions. This study provides practical implications for madrasah leaders and policymakers in designing Leadership strategies, reward mechanisms, and commitment-strengthening programs to improve the quality of education continuously.

Abstract

Pendidikan memiliki peran strategis dalam membentuk generasi masa depan, sehingga kinerja guru dan kualitas pelayanan tenaga kependidikan menjadi faktor penting dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kinerja guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dan kualitas pelayanan tenaga kependidikan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri di Kota Padangsidimpuan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode asosiatif kausal, melibatkan 332 siswa sebagai sampel. Instrumen berupa angket digunakan untuk mengukur variabel penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja guru Pendidikan Agama Islam berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa, demikian pula kualitas pelayanan tenaga kependidikan. Secara bersama-sama, kedua variabel tersebut memberikan kontribusi terhadap motivasi belajar siswa, meskipun masih terdapat faktor lain di luar penelitian ini. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya peningkatan kinerja guru dan pelayanan tenaga kependidikan dalam menciptakan suasana belajar yang kondusif serta mendorong motivasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

Pembelajaran transformatif menekankan pentingnya perubahan perspektif dan kesadaran kritis sebagai hasil utama proses pendidikan. Namun, evaluasi pembelajaran yang selama ini diterapkan cenderung berfokus pada aspek kognitif dan belum mampu mengukur perubahan cara berpikir siswa secara mendalam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi metode refleksi terstruktur sebagai instrumen evaluasi alternatif dalam mengidentifikasi transformasi perspektif siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui metode studi pustaka (library research) dengan menelaah berbagai literatur akademik, jurnal ilmiah, dan sumber relevan lainnya yang membahas pembelajaran transformatif dan refleksi terstruktur. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa refleksi terstruktur efektif mendorong siswa untuk mengevaluasi pengalaman belajar, menyadari asumsi pribadi, serta mengembangkan cara berpikir yang lebih kritis dan reflektif. Kesimpulannya, refleksi terstruktur dapat digunakan sebagai alat evaluasi yang mampu menangkap dimensi transformatif dalam pembelajaran dan mendukung pencapaian tujuan pendidikan yang lebih holistik.

Abstract

Penulisan karya ilmiah merupakan kompetensi penting yang harus dikuasai mahasiswa, khususnya dalam penyusunan skripsi sebagai syarat kelulusan pada jenjang sarjana. Salah satu permasalahan yang sering ditemui adalah lemahnya kemampuan mahasiswa dalam mengelola referensi dan menyusun sitasi sesuai dengan kaidah akademik. Kondisi ini berpotensi menurunkan kualitas karya ilmiah dan melanggar prinsip integritas akademik. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan mahasiswa dalam manajemen referensi melalui sosialisasi penggunaan aplikasi Zotero. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Universitas Islam Negeri Syekh Al-Hasan Ahmad Addary Padangsidimpuan dengan melibatkan 45 mahasiswa sebagai peserta. Metode yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi dan pelatihan, yang meliputi penyampaian materi konseptual tentang penulisan karya ilmiah dan sitasi, serta pendampingan praktis penggunaan aplikasi Zotero. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih baik mengenai pentingnya pengelolaan referensi dan mampu mengenal penggunaan Zotero sebagai alat bantu penyusunan sitasi dan daftar pustaka secara sistematis. Luaran kegiatan berupa dokumen panduan penggunaan Zotero yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai referensi pendukung dalam penulisan karya ilmiah. Kegiatan ini berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan literasi akademik dan literasi digital mahasiswa serta mendukung upaya pencegahan plagiarisme di lingkungan perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools have a significant role in shaping the religious perspective of the young generation of Muslims. In the midst of contemporary socio-political dynamics, this role is increasingly crucial, especially when religious discourse is often colored by polarization, exclusivism, and symptoms of intolerance and radicalism that target young people, including students. This study aims to describe and analyze the management approach of the Al-Ansor Padangsidimpuan Islamic Boarding School in instilling religious moderation among students. Religious moderation is an urgency in the context of contemporary Islamic education in response to the increasing symptoms of intolerance and radicalism. This study uses a qualitative, descriptive approach, collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that pesantren management includes planning the goals and policy directions of pesantren related to religious moderation, active involvement of teachers and caregivers, contextual learning activities, inclusive da’wah, and dialogue between students, as the main instruments for internalizing the values of moderation. In addition, pesantren implement social and cultural control mechanisms based on example and habituation of values in daily life. This study recommends replicating these management models in other Islamic educational institutions to strengthen grassroots religious moderation.

Abstract

This study addresses the persistent issue of monotonous instructional practices in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in higher education, which tend to emphasize surface-level cognitive achievement without effectively engaging students’ subconscious dimensions. From an educational management perspective, this condition reflects limitations in instructional planning, lecturer readiness, and the systematic implementation of innovative learning models. The objective of this research is twofold: (1) to analyze existing learning conditions in the PAI Study Program, and (2) to develop a hypnoteaching-based learning model that is valid, effective, and practical within a structured management framework. This study adopts a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which integrates key managerial functions, including planning (analysis and design of the model), organizing (lecturer preparedness and instructional system support), implementation (integration of the model into classroom practice), and evaluation (validation and effectiveness testing as part of quality control). The findings indicate that the developed model achieved a high level of validity, with expert validation reaching 93%, categorized as “very valid.” In the implementation stage, the model proved to be more effective than conventional lecture-based methods, significantly enhancing students’ learning interest, engagement, and active participation. Moreover, the model contributes to a more conducive and psychologically supportive learning environment. From a management standpoint, the hypnoteaching approach supports lecturers in applying structured, persuasive communication strategies while strengthening institutional efforts in improving instructional quality and governance. It also facilitates the internalization of Islamic values through a more holistic and student-centered learning process. In conclusion, this study offers a strategic contribution to educational management by providing a systematic and applicable framework for planning, implementing, and evaluating innovative learning models in higher education
