Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of the Numeration Learning Combination Model (NLCM) for students in South Papua by employing the Countenance Stake Evaluation model. The region's educational landscape, characterized by linguistic diversity and resource constraints, necessitates innovative teaching approaches. The NLCM combines traditional pedagogical methods with modern educational technologies and culturally relevant content. This evaluation framework examines antecedents, transactions, and outcomes to provide a comprehensive assessment. Data collection by conducting pre-post tests, observations and interviews. Data analysis techniques use a quantitative and a qualitative approach. Data analysis involves quantitative measures of measure the effectiveness of the learning model using the T test based on student performance with the significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) was obtained of 0.00, less than 0.05 and qualitative insights from educators and students. Initial findings reveal that the NLCM enhances numeracy skills, increases student engagement, supports a more inclusive learning environment and addressing the diverse needs of South Papua's student population. The findings suggest that the NLCM is a viable and effective approach to numeration learning in South Papua context, with potential implications for broader educational strategies in similar regions.

Abstract

Buku ajar IPS di Jurusan PGSD FKIP Universitas Musamus tidak sesuai kurikulum terbaru. Mahasiswa kesulitan memahami materi. Buku ajar monoton, menghambat kreativitas, partisipasi, dan pengembangan ide kreatif. Dosen kesulitan mengembangkan materi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan buku ajar berbasis NOKEN untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPS. Buku ajar dirancang mendukung kreativitas mahasiswa dan relevansi dengan konteks sosial budaya lokal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode R&D untuk mengembangkan dan menguji efektivitas produk pendidikan. Peneliti mengikuti lima tahap, mulai dari analisis kebutuhan hingga uji coba produk. Data dikumpulkan melalui studi kasus dan literatur. Produk yang dirancang divalidasi oleh ahli dan diuji coba pada kelompok kecil serta besar. Tes pretest-posttest digunakan untuk mengukur hasil belajar siswa. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji N-Gain score. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Buku Ajar Konsep Dasar IPS Berbasis Noken P5 memberikan dampak positif terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa PGSD. Dari hasil uji coba pretest dan posttest, terlihat adanya peningkatan yang signifikan dalam nilai N-Gain, terutama di kelas C yang menunjukkan kriteria peningkatan tinggi. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan berbasis Noken efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap konsep dasar IPS. Buku ajar ini berhasil membangun keterlibatan mahasiswa melalui pendekatan yang mengedepankan kreativitas, kemandirian, dan eksplorasi materi secara aktif. Dengan demikian, buku ini mendukung pembelajaran yang lebih bermakna dan aplikatif. Kesimpulan penelitian bahwa buku ajar berbasis Noken P5 efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa. Penerapan metode kreatif mendukung pemahaman materi. Perbaikan kebahasaan dan elemen visual masih diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran.

Abstract

The disparity in the quality of Social Studies (IPS) education at SD Muhammadiyah Merauke is caused by the lack of teacher competence in contextual teaching methods, limited training, and insufficient facilities and government support. The purpose of this service is to enhance teachers' competencies in applying contextual and innovative Social Studies (IPS) teaching methods at SD Muhammadiyah Merauke. The implementation method was carried out in structured stages, starting with coordination with the school and local government. The workshop was conducted with lectures and hands-on practice to provide teachers with an understanding of the application of basic concepts of Social Education Science. (IPS). This activity took place at SD Muhammadiyah Merauke from October 10-15, 2024, with 10 teacher participants. After the workshop, a discussion was held to find solutions to the problems faced by teachers, such as limited facilities and low competence in contextual learning methods. The results of the community service conducted in the form of a workshop at SD Muhammadiyah Merauke successfully addressed several obstacles faced by teachers in implementing contextual and innovative learning. Through this workshop, teachers were provided training to enhance their competence in connecting Social Science Education (IPS) material with the context of students' daily lives. The participation of 10 teachers in this activity demonstrates enthusiasm for improving the quality of teaching. Although challenges related to facilities and understanding of local culture still exist, the success of this workshop demonstrates that proper training can have a positive impact on how teachers deliver material and enhance students' critical thinking skills. The conclusion of this service is that training and facility support are important for the implementation of contextual learning methods. Support from schools, the government, and the community is essential for the optimal implementation of teaching innovations.

Abstract

Teacher’s competence in designing learning is one of the important aspects in getting the success of education. Based on preliminary research, any teacher didn’t make a learning design in teaching. Professional teacher certainly has variety experiences. However, experience-based training has rarely been given for the professional teacher. This research aimed to produce and determine the effectiveness the LCL model-based Experiential Learning training model to improve teacher competence in designing learning. It was developed based on Borg and Gall R&D model, carried out until the seventh stage using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The average validity score is 82.5 categorized as highly deserving by validators. ANCOVA's test results showed that there is a significant difference between classes, with the value of [F= (1,58), D=83,29, ρ=0.000, ƞρ2=0,58] significance value ρ=0.05. Based on the LSD table, the average corrected value of the treatment group was 72.84, while the control group was 45.69. It concluded that the training model is feasible and effectively used. This training model can be used as an alternative training to improve teacher competence, especially in designing learning that meets the elements of the 21st century learning paradigm and it has been completed by training tools such as module, guides and necessary hands-out.

Abstract

Textbooks play a crucial role in the learning process. Therefore, it is important for the textbooks used to be contextual, taking into account the characteristics and environment of the students. This research aims to develop a supplementary book in the form of a contextual-based IPS SD textbook that is valid, engaging, practical, and effective. Data is collected through questionnaires, tests, and documentation. The results of data analysis indicate that the developed book meets the criteria of being valid, engaging, practical, and effective in learning. Thus, the textbook can be utilized as a better learning tool, supporting the success of the teaching and learning process in the classroom.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide socialization and education about the importance of change management in education at SD YPK Muli Merauke. This activity was attended by 12 teachers and one principal. The resource person, Mr. Andreas Au Hurit, delivered material on effective change management strategies in the educational environment. During the activity, there was active interaction in the form of questions and answers and discussions between participants and resource persons. Based on observations, the teachers were very enthusiastic in participating in this activity. In addition, the results of the reflection sheet showed that the teachers were happy and hoped that similar programs could be continued in the future. The principal also gave positive support to the continuation of this program, considering the importance of change management in improving the quality of education in schools. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the digitalization of Musamus University's educational services marketing program. This study used an analysis model by Miles and Huberman consisting of data reduction, data presentation and taking conclusion. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. The subject of the study is the primary school teacher education department of Musamus University. Data collection techniques use interview techniques, document studies and literature reviews. The results of this study show that by digitalization the marketing program of the Department of Primary Teacher and Education of Musamus University has shown that the Department innovates to advance the department. Therefore, the digitalization of Musamus University's educational services marketing program help the department to improve the quality and good reputation to the society because the department not only use the manual strategy but also use the innovative strategy by using the digitalization. Eventhough in this research did not measure the effectiveness of this digitalization.

Abstract

Leadership in the major's student organization is a crucial factor in directing its members to achieve common goals. This research aims to explore how a leader can effectively lead students in the department to achieve organizational goals. Using a qualitative approach, data was collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation of student organizational activities at the department level. The results of the study show that inclusive, participatory and transformational leadership styles, interpersonal communication skills, and an adaptive approach to group dynamics play an important role in organizational success. In addition, active involvement of members, clarity of vision, proportional division of roles and support from a number of department lecturers also strengthen the process of achieving goals. Therefore, this study aims to explore how the leadership carried out at HMJ PGSD Musamus University by the management of HMJ PGSD in the period 2024–2025 in order to achieve organizational goals.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengembangkan Buku Ajar Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan mengikuti model Borg dan Gall. Proses penelitian dilakukan dalam tiga fase, yakni pengembangan, validasi, dan uji coba buku ajar. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui dokumentasi, kuesioner, lembar observasi, dan tes. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, Buku Ajar PKn yang dikembangkan terbukti valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Validitas Buku Ajar PKn dievaluasi oleh ahli bahasa sebesar 94% dan ahli materi sebesar 89%. Selain itu, buku ajar ini dinilai praktis dengan persentase angket penilaian mahasiswa pada tahap uji coba ketiga mencapai 90%. Secara keseluruhan, buku ajar ini juga efektif dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran, sebagaimana terlihat dari persentase lembar observasi pada uji coba terakhir, yaitu sebesar 92%.

Abstract

Pembelajaran yang terintegrasi dengan kemajuan teknologi sudah menjadi kebutuhan sesuai dengan perkembangan zaman sekarang ini. Hal tersebut sebagai suatu pemicu kepada guru-guru di Sekolah Dasar (SD), khususnya dalam Pembelajaran IPA dapat memahami atau memiliki kemampuan TPACK merupakan suatu terobosan yang dapat berinovasi dan dapat mengintegrasikan pembelajaran dengan teknologi. Kemampuan TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) sebagai terobosan yang baru dalam pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran khusunya dalam pembelajaran IPA. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan TPACK guru dalam pembelajaran IPA di SD Inpres Kurik 2 Rawasari yang dideskripsikan dari persepsi responden. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis data deskriptif menggambarkan dan merangkum data secara singkat. Jenis dari penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan subjek penelitian guru-guru yang ada di SD Inpres Kurik 2 Rawasari yang berjumlah 15 orang. Instrumen pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner dan dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode survei. Kuesioner ini mengandung 25 pernyataan yang terbagi dalam 7 subdomain. Temuan dari penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa kompetensi guru TK di SD Inpres Kurik 2 Rawasari masih tergolong rendah (48% masih kurang mampu menggunakan teknologi), PK dalam kategori tinggi (75% dapat menguasai pengetahuan Paedagogik), CK dalam kategori sedang (65% dapat menguasai materi pembelajaran), TPK dalam kategori sedang (65% dapat memadukan teknologi dengan paedagogik), TCK dalam kategori sedang (65% dapat memadukan teknologi dengan konten), dan PCK dalam kategori tinggi (76% dapat memadukan konten dengan paedagogik). Dari keseluruhan dari hasil penelitian tersebut TPACK guru SD Inpres Kurik 2 Rawasari masih dalam kategori sedang (61%) dan belum mampu melaksanakan pembelajaran IPA berbasis TIK yaitu memadukan dari pengetahuan, konten, paedagogik dengan teknologi. Dari hasil dapat disimpulkan, kemampuan TPACK Guru SD Inpres Kurik 2 Rawa Sari dalam kategori sedang.
