As a contributor to the country's economy, the oil palm plantation sector is also expected to absorb female workers who have often been marginalized. This study tries to reveal the extent of the role of women in the process of managing oil palm plantations in Penawar Tama District, Tulang Bawang Regency, Lampung Province. The study was conducted quantitatively on 121 female respondents with the status of: independent smallholders, family camps, casual daily laborers and employees of oil palm companies. The results showed that activities in the management of oil palm plantations were still dominated by men. The role of women in this case is only involved in the process of fertilization and leaf maintenance. Regarding the division of labor in the household, the majority of women have a double workload where domestic work such as cooking, washing and cleaning the house is the main job that must be done by women.

Beras masih menjadi primadona sebagai pangan pokok masyarakat di Indonesia dengan begitu produksi padi menjadi kunci dalam penyediaan pangan. Provinsi Jawa Tengah menjadi salah satu lokasi yang memiliki produksi padi cukup baik terutama di Kabupaten Banyumas. Kontribusi produksi diperlukan untuk melihat seberapa besar sumbangsih wilayah terutama dalam menghasilkan padi. Prediksi produksi juga menjadi penting untuk melihat peluang produksi padi di masa mendatang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kontribusi dan trend produksi padi di Kabupaten Banyumas. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis kontribusi dan analisis forecasting trend. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa kontribusi produksi padi Kabupaten Banyumas dari tahun 2010 hingga tahun 2021 memiliki nilai positif. Arti dari penilaian tersebut menandakan bahwa produksi padi di Kabupaten Banyumas memiliki sumbangsih terhadap Jawa Tengah. Catatan kontribusi tertinggi berada pada tahun 2020 mencapai 4,11%. Berdasarkan trend produksi memiliki nilai positif yang mengindikasikan bahwa dalam beberapa tahun mendatang produksi padi di Kabupaten Banyumas akan meningkat. Berdasarkan kedua hasil tersebut harus didukung oleh pemerintah daerah untuk menjaga stabilitas produksi dengan berbagai langkah strategis seperti penyediaan bantuan sarana alat produksi dan paket teknologi.

Soybean is a strategic food in Indonesia. National soybean consumption continues to increase every year. However, there is still a large gap between national soybean production and consumption. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence soybean production, the level of technical efficiency and the sources of technical inefficiency in soybean farming in Banyumas Regency. The number of samples was 45 farmers from 3 sub-districts, namely Kebasen, Sokaraja and Kedungbanteng. Data analysis uses frontier stochastic production function analysis to analyze the factors that influence the technical efficiency of soybean farming. The estimation results of the Stochastic Frontier Production Model show that the variables that have a significant effect on soybean production are land area, number of seeds, and pesticides. The level of achievement of technical efficiency of soybean farming is 0.728. This shows that rice farming in Banyumas Regency is already efficient. Kopi merupakan salah satu komoditas perkebunan yang memiliki peranan strategis bagi pertumbungan ekonomi. Pengembangan kopi di Kabupaten Manggarai dihadapkan pada masalah endahnya produktivitas kopi rakyat karena umur tanaman kopi yang sudah tua. tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) menganalisis karakteristik petani kopi rakyat (2) menganalisis kelayakan usahatani kopi di Kecamatan Cibal Barat, Kabupaten Manggarai. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Cikal Barat, Kabupaten Manggarai. Lokasi penelitian dipilih secara purposive atau sengaja dengan pertimbangan bahwa Kecamatan Cikal Barat merupakan salah satu sentra pengembangan kopi di Kabupaten Manggarai. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan yaitu 39 orang. Analisis kelayakan finansial usahatani kopi di Kecamatan Cibal Barat dilakukan dengan menggunakan 3 kriteria investasi usaha yaitu Net Present Value (NPV), Net Benefit-Cost Ratio (Net B/C), serta Internal Rate of Return (IRR). Berdasarkan analisis kelayakan usaha tani yang dilakukan maka usaha tani kopi di kecamatan Cibal Barat di kategorikan masih layak untuk diusahakan. Hasil analisis NPV sebesar Rp 20.094.015, dengan Net B/c 1,26 dan IRR sebesar 23,56%. Rendahnya manfaat bersih yang diterima oleh petani disebabkan karena umur kopi yang sudah tua serta kegiatan budidaya yang masih sederhana

Padi merupakan komoditas pertanian penting di Kabupaten Lampung Tengah. Salah satu kendala utama yang dihadapi oleh petani padi di Lampung Tengah adalah kapasitas permodalan bagi usahatani. Keberadaan lembaga keuangan mikro, baik yang beroperasi secara syariah maupun konvensional, memberikan layanan pembiayaan pertanian mikro bagi usahatani padi. Penelitiain ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbandingan keuntungan usahatani padi yang menggunakan beberapa sumber permodalan di Kabupaten Lampung Tengah. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diketahui bahwa usahatani padi di Kabupaten Lampung Tengah cukup menguntungkan. Petani yang menggunakan modal sendiri memiliki tingkat keuntungan yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan petani yang mengakses pembiayaan usahatani dari lembaga keuangan mikro

The fast growth in the number of muslims worldwide made the halal lifestyle a growing trend. This phenomenon has led to high demand for halal products, especially agricultural commodities. Halal certification efforts for agriculture commodities were not only considered beneficial for consumers but also for producers and business actors. With halal certification, consumer confidence in producers and business actors will increase, and it will have a positive impact on the profits of producers and business actors. This study aims to provide an overview of the importance of halal certification efforts for Indonesia's agricultural export commodities so that it can become a reference for the government in developing the national agro-industry. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis with a review of relevant literature through sources from journals, books, proceedings, publications, and electronic media. The results of the literature review show that the biggest challenge to halal certification in Indonesia lies in the procedures and processes. There was a risk of uncleanness occurring at several stages which may allow contamination of unclean and unclean materials during distribution or transportation. Amid during in the fast development of the global halal market, the high potential for the development of halal-certified organic products in Indonesia opens up opportunities for halal certification for agricultural commodities.

Ekosistem hutan Gunung Slamet memiliki peran penting bagi ekologi, ekonomi san sosial. Salah satu bentuk model pemanfaatan sumber daya hutan secara lestari adalah melalui penerapan agrosilvopastura. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk melakukan transfer pengetahuan kepada masyarakat sekitar hutan yang tergabung dalam Lembaga Masyarakat Desa Hutan (LMDH) Wana Karya Lestari tentang model agrosilvopstura dan meningkatkan pengetahuan mereka terkait model agrosilvopastura. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilakukan dengan pendekatan participatory rural appraisal (PRA). Masyarakat sudah dilibatkan secara aktif mulai dari pra kegiatan, pelaksanaan kegiatan, sampai dengan pasca kegiatan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diketahui bahwa pengetahuan dan pemahaman masyarakat yang mengikuti penyuluhan tentang konsep agrosilvopastura meningkat setelah mereka memperoleh materi dan melakukan diskusi terarah. Pasca kegiatan ini masyarakat diharapkan dapat mengimplementasikan pengetahuan mereka dalam bentuk pengembangan demplot agrosilvopastura.

The sustainability of the forest ecosystem is threatened by increased human activities and anthropogenic factors. This condition can have implications for the sustainability of communities around the forest. This community service activity aims to implement the circular economy concept through training in the production of organic fertilizer from livestock manure in Kemutug Lor Village, Baturraden District, Banyumas Regency. The beneficiaries of this activity are community groups around the forest affiliated with the LMDH Wana Karya Lestari. The community service is conducted through a participatory learning and action approach, aiming to enhance community participation in developing knowledge and practical skills related to the utilization of waste as a sustainable resource. The training process includes theoretical presentations, practical fertilizer production, and application to plants. This activity is expected to increase awareness and skills among the community in converting livestock manure into organic fertilizer and developing a sustainable local economy.

Business groups that have products must prioritize hygiene and sanitation of their production locations. This will be in line with the quality of the products produced so that the implementation of good food processing methods is the key. One of the KWTs that has a product is KWT Sari Melati with its carrot stick product. Lack of understanding of KWT Sari Melati members regarding good food processing methods. This community service activity aims to provide counseling and assistance on good food processing methods at KWT Sari Melati. This service uses the counseling and assistance method for KWT Sari Melati members. Of course, this community service activity begins with five stages from the preparation stage to the final evaluation stage. Based on the results of community service activities, KWT Sari Melati members already know exactly how to process food properly and correctly. The implementation and practice of good processing have also been carried out. This indicator can be seen from the carrot stick products produced which have better quality than before. KWT Sari Melati only needs to improve good food processing methods in terms of hygiene and sanitation of its production site.ABSTRAKKelompok usaha yang memiliki produk harus mementingkan kehigenisan dan sanitasi lokasi produksinya. Hal ini akan selaras dengan kualitas produk yang dihasilkan sehingga penerapan cara pengolahan pangan yang baik menjadi kuncinya. Salah satu KWT yang memiliki produk yaitu KWT Sari Melati dengan produk stik wortelnya. Kurangnya pemahaman anggota KWT Sari Melati mengenai cara pengolahan pangan yang baik. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan penyuluhan dan pendampingan cara pengolahan pangan yang baik pada KWT Sari Melati. Pengabdian ini menggunakan metode penyuluhan dan pendampingan kepada anggota KWT Sari Melati. Tentunya kegiatan pengabdian ini dimulai dengan lima tahapan dari tahapan persiapan hingga tahapan akhir evaluasi. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat anggota KWT Sari Melati sudah mengetahui secara tepat bagaimana cara pengolahan pangan yang baik dan benar. Penerapan dan praktik pengolahan yang baik juga sudah dilakukan. Indikator ini terlihat dari produk stik wortel yang dihasilkan memiliki kualitas yang lebih baik dari sebelumnya. KWT Sari Melati hanya perlu meningkatkan cara pengolahan pangan yang baik dari segi kehigenisan dan sanitasi tempat produksinya.

Rice farming is one of the agricultural enterprises with a relatively high production risk. This production risk can lead to decreased production and even crop failure. This study aims to analyze the factors affecting the rice production and analyze the factors affecting production risk in rice farming in Anjatan Subdistrict, Indramayu. This research was conducted in Anjatan Subdistrict, Indramayu Regency. The research location was chosen purposively considering that Anjatan Subdistrict is one of the rice production centers in Indramayu Regency. The sampling method used was a simple random sampling method with a sample size of 50 rice farmers. The data analysis used in this study consisted of rice production risk function analysis and rice production function analysis. The production function used was the Just and Pope production model. The results of the estimation of the production function showed that the seed, fertilizer, labor, and pesticide variables had a significant effect on rice production in Anjatan Subdistrict. Furthermore, the results of the analysis of the rice production risk function showed that seeds and labor are production factors that can reduce production risk (risk-reducing factors), while urea fertilizer and fertilizer are inputs that can increase rice production risk (risk-increasing factors). The results of the analysis on the production and risk production functions show that seeds are an input that significantly increases rice production and can reduce production risk. Increasing the use of seeds, especially superior seeds, can be one of the strategies to increase production and reduce the risk of crop failure.
