Abstract

This study aims to strengthen the understanding of UNZAH Genggong students regarding the concept of the vital period and the development of awareness in infants. A qualitative approach was employed through interview and observation techniques to explore the process of improving this understanding. The findings indicate that structured learning and hands-on practice significantly enhance students’ knowledge of the vital period concept and the importance of awareness in supporting optimal infant development. Furthermore, the intervention emphasizes the need for integrating theory and practice in the learning process to improve students’ competencies in childcare and child development. The strategies implemented not only reinforce students’ conceptual understanding but also develop their practical skills, which are crucial in the context of early childhood education. The data show that educational strategies combining theory and practice can be sustained, providing a positive impact on the improvement of students’ competencies and the overall quality of early childhood education. Therefore, strengthening students’ understanding of the concepts of the vital period and infant awareness can make a significant contribution to better childcare quality and child development.

Abstract

This Community Service Program aims to enhance the understanding of parents, Madrasah Tsanawiyah students, and the community of Karangbong Village regarding the history of developmental psychology and major child development theories. The program was initiated due to the community’s limited knowledge of developmental concepts, which affects the quality of parenting practices. Using a descriptive qualitative approach through observation, interviews, educational sessions, and discussions, the program presented essential materials covering the history of developmental psychology, Piaget’s cognitive development theory, Erikson’s psychosocial stages, and Vygotsky’s sociocultural theory. The results indicate a significant improvement in participants’ comprehension of developmental stages and their ability to apply appropriate parenting strategies. The program also reinforced the awareness that child development is a responsibility and divine trust that must be nurtured optimally. Overall, this activity contributes to the development of informed, adaptive, and development-oriented parenting within the community.

Abstract

Masalah utama dalam mempelajari tingkah laku manusia terletak pada kompleksitas faktor yang memengaruhinya, mulai dari aspek biologis, psikologis, lingkungan sosial, budaya, hingga pengalaman individu. Kompleksitas ini dapat memunculkan perilaku maladaptif seperti rendahnya motivasi belajar, agresivitas, dan perilaku menyimpang yang berdampak pada perkembangan pribadi dan sosial. Karena itu, diperlukan pendekatan ilmiah yang mampu menjelaskan perilaku secara objektif dan mendalam. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguraikan cara ilmiah dalam mempelajari perilaku manusia serta mengevaluasi kelebihan dan keterbatasan setiap metode. Dengan menggunakan metode studi pustaka kualitatif, data diperoleh dari buku, jurnal, dan artikel ilmiah, lalu dianalisis secara deskriptif-analitis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa observasi efektif menggambarkan perilaku nyata, eksperimen mampu menguji hubungan sebab-akibat melalui kontrol variabel, dan metode klinis memberikan pemahaman mendalam terhadap kasus individu. Kombinasi ketiganya memberikan gambaran komprehensif untuk memahami perilaku manusia dan meningkatkan strategipembelajaran serta intervensi sosial.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the strategies used by Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in implementing the 7 Habits of Great Children and to analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors for its implementation among fifth-grade students at SDN Besuk Kidul. The research employed a qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the implementation of the 7 Habits is carried out through four main strategies: teacher role-modelling, positive reinforcement, integration of habit values into PAI learning, and collaboration between teachers and parents. These strategies were proven effective in fostering students’ religious character, discipline, responsibility, and positive social behavior. The success of the program is supported by the teacher’s commitment, strong emotional bonds between teachers and students, parental involvement, and monitoring through the 7 Habits Student Book. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include limited time for habit development at school and inconsistency of parental assistance at home. Overall, this study confirms that habituation and role-modelling–based Islamic education practices can serve as an effective model for internalizing Islamic character values in elementary school students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keterampilan komunikasi matematis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal Sistem Persamaan Linear Dua Variabel (SPLDV) dengan bantuan media Desmos. Keterampilan komunikasi matematis sangat penting dimiliki siswa abad 21 untuk dapat menyampaikan ide dan pemikiran matematis secara tertulis maupun visual. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah 6 siswa kelas VIII MTs Zainul Anwar. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan Observasi, Dokumentasi dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data terdiri dari kondensasi data, penyajian data dan kesimpulan. Pengecekan keabsahan temuan terdiri dari kredibilitas, Transferbilitas, Dependebility dan konfirmabilitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang menggunakan media Desmos mampu memvisualisasikan penyelesaian SPLDV secara lebih jelas dan terstruktur. Beberapa siswa dapat mengungkapkan gagasan, menginterpretasikan grafik, dan menyimpulkan jawaban dengan baik melalui bantuan teknologi ini. Penggunaan Desmos juga terbukti mendukung peningkatan kemampuan representasi dan komunikasi matematis siswa dalam pembelajaran yang lebih bermakna dan interaktif.

Abstract

A narrative inquiry of students' public speaking, ability using bilingual, English, and Arabic. This research aims to explore the story of the experience of public speaking, students during students studying at Al-Mashduqiyah. More specifically, the study aimed to understand the difficulties and coping strategies that students face when speaking in public using a foreign language. The method used by the qualitative approach is narrative inquiry. A Junior High student participated in the study. To collect data valid information researcher use questionnaires, interviews, dairy, and documentation obtained from participants and a teacher. As a result, this narrative investigation shows the problems of public speaking in two languages, individual factors, and implementing them into public speaking. To overcome difficulties in public speaking, participants apply strategies with repetition and habituation. This study shows that the mastery of language, accent, and manner of delivery is important because it affects the audience's understanding of the communication.

Abstract

The development of the digital era has positioned social media as a primary channel for the dissemination of religious information, including hadith. This transformation provides significant opportunities for Islamic da'wah while simultaneously presenting serious challenges related to source accuracy, contextual precision, and the intention behind publication. The rapid and viral nature of social media platforms increases the risk of distortion in the meaning of hadith when not supported by proper scholarly verification. Therefore, the contextualization of hadith is essential to ensure its relevance to modern life without compromising its authenticity and established Islamic scholarly methodology. This study aims to analyze the contextualization of hadith in the practice of publishing on social media and to formulate ethical guidelines for social media engagement based on hadith perspectives. The research employs a qualitative approach through library research, drawing upon classical hadith collections, scholarly works, and relevant academic literature. Data analysis is conducted descriptively and analytically, incorporating Qur’anic evidence, hadith studies, and the process of takhrij to ensure the validity of the narrations examined. The findings indicate that publishing hadith on social media requires a high level of caution through the application of the principle of tabayyun, namely verifying both the chain of transmission (sanad) and textual content (matan) before dissemination. Moreover, presenting hadith in digital visual formats may reduce or alter its meaning if not accompanied by adequate historical and contextual explanation. Therefore, digital da'wah ethics must be upheld through sincere intention, respectful language, and moral responsibility to prevent misinformation, provocation, and the commercialization of religion.
