Abstract

Artikel ini melihat peran teologi yang merupakan salah satu aspek dari agama. Penulis melihat bahwa teologi mengambil peran sangat penting bahkan terpenting, yang oleh penulis disebut sebagai hegemoni. Peran ini tentu saja punya efek yang tak selamanya diharapkan. Teologi yang terlalu memfokuskan pada persoalan Tuhan, misalnya, sering membawa para teolog pada kebenarannya sendiri yang melangit dan abai melihat realitas. Di akhir, penulis mengusulkan dekonstruksi terhadap teologi yang telah menjadi hegemoni bagi agama tersebut.

Abstract

Abstrak: Artikel ini lahir dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan dengan judul "Spirit Keagamaan dan Identitas Etnis: Studi tentang Pembentukan Pesantren Migran Jawa di Jambi". Penelitian ini ingin menentukan karakter tiga sekolah migran Jawa: Raudhatul Mujawwidin di Kabupaten Tebo, Al-Muhajirin di Batanghari, dan An-Nur di Muara Jambi. Penelitian ini mencakup tiga topik: tipologi kepemimpinan sekolah-sekolah, kurikulum, dan kegiatan budaya terjadi di dalam pesantren. Analisis juga dilakukan tentang apakah pesantren migran Jawa telah mengalami akulturasi dengan budaya dan kehidupan sosial Jambi atau masih mempertahankan budaya pendidikan Jawa. Studi ini menunjukkan bahwa sekolah masih mempertahankan ciri khas Jawa tersebut. Ciri khas Jawa ditampilkan pada bahasa, dalam proses belajar mengajar, bahkan bahasa dalam kehidupan sehari-hari mereka. Kata kunci: Pondok Pesantren, akulturasi, kyai, kitab kuning.Abstract: This article rises up from a research that has been conducted under the title “Religious Spirit and Ethnic Identity: Study on Establishment of Javanese Migrant Pesantren in Jambi”. The study wishes to determine the character of three Javanese migrant schools: Raudhatul Mujawwidin in district Tebo, Al-Muhajirin in Batanghari, and An-Nur in Muara Jambi. The research covers three topics: leadership typology of those schools, the curriculum, and the cultural activities occurs inside the boarding schools. The Article analyzes whether Javanese migrant boarding schools has carried out the acculturation of the culture and social life of Jambi or still maintain Javanese education culture. The study showed that the schools still maintain its Javanese characteristic. The hallmark of Java displayed on the language in the process of teaching and learning, even more in the language of their daily life. Abstract

This article discusses the thought of Abdulkarim Soroush on the relation between the truth claim of religious understanding and the emergence of religious authoritarianism. Truth claim can raise the tyranny of religion when there is an attempt at the ideologization of a religious understanding to political and power sphere. Some questions to be answered here include: why does religious truth claim emerge, and how does Soroush deconstruct religious truth claim? Why does Soroush reject the paradigm of religious ideologization, and how does he promote the democratization of the relation between religion and politics? This article reveals that religious truth claim emerge due to the absence of consciousness to distinguish between religious understanding which is temporal and profan and the very religion which is eternal and sacred.? Attempts at ideologizing religion represent the lack of consciousness to distinguish between religion and politics, as this lack can degrade the divine value of religion to its worldly and human character. The ideologization of religion can result in tyranny in the name of religion, and accordingly give the monopoly of power to a certain religious understanding while rejecting others.

Abstract

Abstrak: Artikel ini membahas pemikiran Islam tentang teologi saintifik yang  sering menjadi perdebatan para ilmuwan. Sebagian pakar berpendapat bahwa al-Qur’an memotivasi umatnya untuk mencintai sains. Pakar lain berpandangan bahwa ayat- ayat al-Qur’an memberikan sinyal-sinyal sains. Pada perkembangan terakhir menguat geliat umat Islam tentang perlunya islamisasi sains. Pendekatan dalam artikel ini adalah pendekatan teologi sains yang mengupas visi dan relasi sains dan Islam. Dalam konteks ini, Islam bukan hanya mendorong umatnya untuk mencintai sains, akan tetapi memberikan sinyal sains yang kalau diungkap akan menghasilkan karya sains yang memberikan kontribusi bagi peradaban manusia. Penulis menyimpulkan bahwa eksistensi sains memperoleh dukungan signifikan dalam ajaran Islam hingga menjadi bagian integral yang tak terpisahkan dari sistem teologi Islam.Abstract: The Spirituality of Science in Islam: Revealing Islamic Scientific Theology. This article discusses Islamic scientific theology that often debated by scholars. Some Islamic scholars argue that Islam through al-Qur’an motivates believers to love science and thus their works do not contradict withal-Qur’an. Others argued that al-Qur’an only provides signs of science and encourages people to solve the puzzles of science. Nowadays the need for islamization of science has grown stronger among Islamic thinkers. This article uses a theological approach to explore the relation of science and Islam. As such, al-Qur’an not only encouraged people to love science but also the signals of science that will produce works of science that contribute to human civilization. In short, the existence of theological science gained significant support in the teachings of Islam to be an integral part of the system of Islamic theology.Kata kunci: sains, al-Qur’an, epistemology, islamisasi, teologi saintifik

Abstract

This article elucidates contradictory religious arguments. Religion substantively carries messages of salvation and guidance of truth from God. But when it is practiced by humans, substantive religious messages were reduced and replaced with contradictory religious expressions that eradicated the substantive messages of religion itself. Conflict and violence in the name of religion is a real phenomenon that the substantive religious teachings lost its essential message of religion. An important question to be answered in this article is how does the process of religious reduction occur if it is reviewed from the character of theological interpretation produced by theologians? A literature study of this article about the tension, conflict, and violence in the name of religion shows that the reduction of the face of religion is due to the product of sectarian, fanatical, and untolerant. These findings strengthen previous studies about the influence of theological patterns towards religious attitudes of their adherents.

Abstract

This article discusses the philosophy of science and the development of the epimostological construction of science. Between the philosophy of science and the development of science has a close relationship because the philosophy of science has always been a benchmark in the development of science. Philosophy if science is a first pondation to make a epimostological constructin of science. Some of the development of the epimostology of science can not be separated from the foundation of a well-developed philosophy of science. The essence of modern science is inseparable from the basics of the philosophy of science. Another factor that binds science is realism and idealism which are the strong basis for the development of the epimostological construction of science in the era of modern civilization as it is now.

Abstract

This article discusses the nature of the axiology of science and its benefits for humans. Axiology is part of the philosophy of science that questions how humans use their knowledge. So what is to be achieved from axiology is the nature and benefits contained in a knowledge. Axiology is a science that talks about the goals of science itself. So axiology is a science that studies the true nature and benefits of knowledge and actually science is not in vain if we can use it as well as possible for the benefit of humans in general. The formulation of the problem raised is how the nature of axiology, science and benefits for humans. The substance of science is very dependent on its benefits, because it is very worrying and dangerous if science which is full of negative charges is controlled by irresponsible people. The basic goal is to find the truth of the existing facts or wherever possible there is certainty of scientific truth. This paper describes the functions and uses of science that has provided the greatest benefit to human life, where science is an important instrument in every development process as an effort to realize the benefit of human life entirely. Science can be used as a means to improve the standard of living of humans and their welfare by focusing on nature and dignity for the benefit of humans.

Abstract

This article reveals a situation, Kullīyat al-Mu‘allimīn Al-Islāmīyah Gontor Curriculum Planning in Improving the Quality of Graduates which is carried out using the I'dad Tadris, I'dad Madhi (material) and I'dab Maknawi (meaning) methods which are not just knowledge but wisdom. Implementation of the curriculum is in accordance with the use of an integral curriculum and evaluation is carried out carefully and in detail. The feasibility study was implemented in the context of increasing the number of ustadz and subjects taught. This is important to do so that you can find out the condition of the number of teachers, teacher abilities, and even obstacles. Evaluations are carried out by the person in charge of Kullīyat al-Mu‘allimīn Al-Islāmīyah in various ways, either daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annually or annually. All of this is done to ensure that the quality of graduates meets expectations. Artikel ini mengungkap suatu  keadaan, Perencanaan Kurikulum Kullīyat al-Mu‘allimīn Al-Islāmīyah Gontor Dalam Meningkatkan Mutu lulusan yang dilakukan dengan metode I’dad tadris, I’dad madhi (materi) dan I’dab maknawi (makna) yang tidak hanya sekedar pengetahuan melainkan hikmah. Pelaksanaan kurikulum sesuai dengan penggunaan kurikulum yang integral serta evaluasi yang dilakukan dengan teliti dan detail. Studi kelayakan diterapkan dalam konteks penambahan jumlah ustadz dan mata pelajaran yang diampu. Ini penting dilakukan agar dapat mengetahui keadaan jumlah guru, kemampuan guru, bahkan kendalanya. Evaluasi dilakukan oleh Penanggung jawab Kullīyat al-Mu‘allimīn Al-Islāmīyah secara bervariasi, baik harian, mingguan, bulanan, semesteran, maupun tahunan.  Semua ini dilakuan untuk memastikan tercapainya mutu lulusan yang sesuai dengan harapan.

Abstract

This article discusses the strategic management carried out by the Head of Madrasah Aliyah Batam State, Riau Islands Province to increase teacher commitment. The main problem studied is how is the strategic management carried out by the Head of MAN Batam to increase teacher commitment? The research method used is a qualitative-descriptive method, with data collection through observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that the Head of MAN Batam has implemented the principles of strategic management which consist of environmental observation, both internal and external observation, then strategy formulation, strategy implementation and evaluation. The state of teacher commitment at MAN Batam is divided into two forms of commitment, namely, commitment to carrying out their duties and commitment to improving the quality of madrasahs. The implementation of strategic management carried out by the Head of MAN Batam to increase teacher commitment is divided into three major plans; optimizing school management, optimizing the role of school principals, and optimizing efforts to create committed professional teachers. Artikel ini membahas tentang manajemen strategi yang dijalankan oleh Kepala Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Batam Provinsi Kepulauan Riau untuk meningkatkan komitmen guru. Permasalahan utama yang dikaji adalah bagaimana manajemen strategi yang dilakukan Kepala MAN Batam untuk meningkatkan komitmen guru? Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif-deskriptif, dengan pengkumpulan data secara observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kepala MAN Batam telah melaksanakan prinsip-prinsip manajemen strategi yang terdiri dari pengamatan lingkungan, baik pengamatan internal maupun eksternal, kemudian perumusan strategi, pelaksanan strategi, dan evaluasi. Keadaan komitmen guru di MAN Batam dibagi ke dalam dua bentuk komitmen yakni, komitmen di dalam menjalankan tugas dan komitmen dalam meningkatkan kualitas madrasah. Adapun implementasi manajemen strategi yang dijalankan oleh Kepala MAN Batam untuk meningkatkan komitmen guru dibagi ke dalam tiga rancangan besar; optimalisasi manajemen sekolah, optimalisasi peran kepala sekolah, dan optimalisasi upaya penciptaan guru profesional yang komit.

Abstract

This article analyzes whether there is an influence of the Academic Administration Information System and Service Quality on Student Satisfaction. The article comes from quantitative, the population is 3,356, a sample of 44 students, the sample is simple random sampling, data collection, documentation, instrument testing, product moment correlation questionnaire validity test, Cronbach's alpha questionnaire reliability test, percentage data analysis techniques, normality test, hypothesis, t test, F test, the coefficient of determination test results show that: (1) Academic Administration Information Systems are generally in the medium category, namely (45%), (2) Service Quality is generally in the high category (48%), (3) the influence of X1 on Y 0.000 < 0.05, t 4,185 > 2,020 there is an influence, the influence of 23 it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning there is an influence (4) of 86.3%. Atikel ini menganalisis apakah terdapat Pengaruh Sistem Informasi Tata Usaha Akademik dan Kualitas Pelayanan Terhadap Kepuasan Mahasiswa. Artikel berasal dari kuantitatif, populasinya 3.356 sampel 44 mahasiswa, sampel simple random sampling, pengumpulan data, dokumentasi, uji coba instrument uji validitas angket korelasi product moment, uji reliabilitas angket alpha cronbach, teknik analisis data presentase, uji normalitas, hipotesis, uji t, uji F, uji koefesien determinasi hasil menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Sistem Informasi Tata Usaha Akademik secara umum kategori sedang yaitu sebanyak (45%), (2) Kualitas Pelayanan  secara umum berada pada kategori tinggi (48%), (3) pengaruh X1 terhadap Y 0,000 < 0,05, t 4.185 > 2.020 terdapat pengaruh, pengaruh X2 terhadap Y sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 nilai t 4.080 >2.020 terdapat pengaruh, secara simulta sebesar 0,000<0,05 nilai F hitung 129.662 > F tabel 3,23 dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima berarti terdapat pengaruh (4) sebesar 86,3%.
