Abstract

The use of social media without adequate digital literacy understanding also increases the risk of online sexual harassment and violence. Therefore, comprehensive and sustainable educational interventions are needed to raise students' awareness of the forms of sexual harassment and violence. This community service is crucial to encourage prevention efforts through an educational approach that is youth-friendly, contextual, and participatory, so that students are not only able to recognize forms of violence, but also able to protect themselves, build healthy relationships, and become agents of change in their environment. The objectives of this Community Service are: (a) Increasing students' understanding of forms of sexual harassment and violence on social media, both explicit and covert; (b) Building students' critical awareness of the importance of maintaining boundaries and ethics in interacting in digital spaces; (c) Educating students about the concept of healthy relationships, which are based on respect, equality, and healthy communication; (d) Encouraging students' active participation in sexual violence prevention campaigns, especially on social media, through creative approaches based on their experiences; and (e) Cultivating a safe, inclusive, and violence-free school culture, through collaboration between schools, parents, and the community.

Abstract

Education plays a strategic role in shaping character and improving the quality of human resources. One effort to strengthen character in the Merdeka Curriculum is through the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile, particularly the dimension of independence. This study aims to describe the implementation of the independence dimension in Pancasila Education learning in Grade VII at SMP Negeri 2 Kota Jambi and to identify its supporting and inhibiting factors. The study employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. The research participants included the principal, the Pancasila Education teacher, and Grade VII students. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, observations, and document analysis. Data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation, while data analysis was conducted using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. The results indicate that the independence dimension has been implemented in aspects of self-awareness, self-regulation, and initiative and responsibility in learning. Students have begun to demonstrate awareness of their learning responsibilities, the ability to manage time, and the courage to take initiative in completing tasks. However, the consistency of self-regulation and the self-confidence of some students still need to be strengthened. Supporting factors include a conducive school environment, the support of the Merdeka Curriculum, and participatory teaching approaches. Inhibiting factors include unstable study habits and distractions from gadget use

Abstract

Kata Kunci: HOTS, REACT, Evaluasi, Pembelajaran, PPKnThe purpose of this study was to improve the ability of prospective teacher students in compiling Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) learning evaluation instruments using the REACT (Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, Transferring) method. The REACT method was chosen because it emphasizes teaching that connects concepts with real-life contexts, encouraging students to develop critical, creative, and analytical thinking skills. The study was conducted through a Mixed Method approach with the participation of 30 prospective teacher students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, tests, and document analysis. The results showed that the application of the REACT method provided a significant increase in students' ability to compile HOTS-based instruments. The REACT method allows prospective teachers to be more skilled in designing evaluation instruments that not only measure low cognitive abilities but also students' critical and creative thinking skills. These findings provide important implications for teacher training programs in an effort to improve the quality of education in the future. Keywords: HOTS, REACT, Evaluation, Learning, Civic Education.
