This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Treffinger Model in achieving the student’s creative mathematical thinking ability and their ability viewed from the students' learning styles. The type of study used was a mixed-method design of sequential explanatory. The first stage was quantitative data collection, and it was done using questionnaires to categorized the subject and tests. The next stage was qualitative data collection, and it was done using triangulation techniques such as questionnaires, tests, and interviews. The study population was the grade V Public Elementary School Gondangrejo, Magelang. Samples were grade VA as an experimental class with 20 students, and grade VB as the control class with 20 students. The results of this study indicated that Treffinger learning model effectively improved the ability of creative thinking viewed from the students' learning styles, this is indicated by the mathematical creative thinking ability of the experimental class students reaches the minimal past score, the mathematical creative thinking ability of the experimental class students is better than the control class, the creative thinking ability of students of divergent learning styles and convergent learning styles are at the 4th level or very creative and students' creative thinking abilities assimilation and accommodation learning styles are at 3th level or creative.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of cooperative model CIRC type assisted by Schoology on the mathematical literacy ability. Schoology in this research is a free web-based education application which allows teachers to give lessons to students digitally. This study method applied in this research was a quantitative method of quasi-experimental with Nonequivalent Control Group Design model. The population of this study was the grade VII students of Public Junior High School 5 Kudus. Sampling was done by using simple random sampling. Data collection technique was used mathematical literacy ability tests, observation, and documentation, respectively. This study was analyzed using t-test. The results show that the mathematical literacy ability using the cooperative model CIRC type assisted by Schoology has reached 75% of classical completeness, the average mathematical literacy ability using the cooperative model CIRC type assisted by Schoology was better than the average mathematical literacy ability using the expository learning model, the proportion of students 'mathematical literacy ability using the cooperative learning model CIRC type assisted by Schoology was more than the proportion of students' mathematical literacy ability using the expository learning model. The average of total teaching skills and activities of students in mathematics learning was in very good criteria.

Thisstudy was based on the results of learning innovation research conducted in Mathematics Department, Faculty of Mathematics and Science, Semarang State University. The expected goal is to develop or acquire a learning model mathematics course on ICT-based Operations Research. This study was done in order to utilize computer technology (laptop) that was shared by almost all students of the Department of Mathematics in order to reduce the difficulty of students to perform calculations that are many and complex.Research was conducted at the Laboratory of MathematicsUnneswhich also becomes the avenue of this subject. Implementation of learning by using the PBL approach (projectbased learning) based on ICT. The processed data was taken from the field (a real problem) which was further discussed and discussed in groups by utilizing the theory of operations research and facilities laptop and software that support it. The result of the discussion was presented in front of the class andeach step that has been done until the students reached their conclusion and interpretation. The results of the study concluded that (1) the form of the program to resolve the research operations problem was computer assisted program, and (2) the learning outcomes of operations research with project-based learning approach.

Mathematics learning is very important given in order to the students can have problem-solving abilities. This study aims to test the effectiveness of cooperative problem solving (CoPS) learning assisted by the GeoGebra 3D on students' problem-solving abilities and describe problem solving abilities in terms of students' GeoGebra 3D usage. This research is a type of quantitative and qualitative. The study was conducted in a junior high school named SMP Islam Al Azhar 14 Semarang in the 2018/2019 academic year. The research subjects were eighth grade students consisting of one experimental class with cooperative problem solving learning assisted by GeoGebra 3D treatment and one control class. Then two students were selected for each of the high, medium, and low GeoGebra 3D usage categories. Hypothesis testing uses one-party proportion test and average difference test. The results of the study showed that cooperative problem solving (CoPS) learning assisted by GeoGebra 3D was effective on students' problem-solving abilities. Students with medium and high usage categories of GeoGebra 3D can reach all indicators of problem-solving even though several indicators of problem-solving are achieved with insignificant errors. Students with medium and high GeoGebra 3D usage categories can implement the steps of problem-solving according to Polya's steps, even they are as good at the carry out the plan step. Students with low GeoGebra 3D usage category cannot carry out the Polya's steps well. Students with low GeoGebra 3D usage category faced difficulties to devise problem-solving plan, carry out problem-solving plan, and looking-back step is not done.

The objectives of this study are to test the effectiveness of van Hiele's learning of students; problem-solving ability and describe their problem-solving ability and self-efficacy based on the level of geometrical thinking. This research was a type of mixed quantitative and qualitative research. The study was conducted at MTs Asy-Syarifah in the 2015/2016 academic year. The research subjects were eighth grade students consisting of one experimental class with treatment using van Hiele learning and one control class. Hypothesis testing used a one-tailed proportion test and an average difference test. The results are obtained that van Hiele learning is effective in students' problem-solving ability. The average score of students who get van Hiele learning is higher than students who get expository learning. Students at level 2 (informal deduction) can reach all indicators of problem-solving. Students at level 2 can carry out the stages of problem-solving according to Polya's steps. Students at level 1 (Analysis), the students have not been able to carry out the completion plan appropriately. Students have difficulty in implementing a problem-solving plan. Students at level 0 (visualization) have not been able to plan properly. The results of the analysis of the three dimensions of students’ initial self-efficacy show that students: (1) still have difficulties and try to avoid difficult tasks, (2) give up easily when facing difficulties.

Mathematical creative thinking ability in problem solving becomes the requirement of mathematics education recently in order to find many ideas and new solution so that the issues can be resolved appropriately. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning in achieving the student’s creative mathematical thinking ability and their ability viewed from gender. This study used a mixed method design with concurrent embedded design by conducting quasi experimental design on quantitative method and Miles-Hubberman model to analyzed qualitative data. The first stage was quantitative data collection, and it was done using tests (essay). The next stage was qualitative data collection, and it was done using triangulation techniques such as tests and interviews. The study population was the grade VII SMP IT Bina Amal Semarang. Samples were grade VII Thoriq and VII Aisyah as an experimental class and grade VII Amru and VII Asma ' as the control class. Data analysis in qualitative research follows the concept given by Miles & Huberman are data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. Analysis of quantitative research includes analysis of the achievement aspects of mathematical creative thinking abilities. Quantitative data analysis includes a normality test, homogeneity tests, completeness tests, right-side tests, and average similarity test. The result of this study shown that CPS learning model effectively improved the ability of creative thinking viewed from gender, this is indicated by the mathematical creative thinking ability of the experimental class students reaches the minimal past score, the mathematical creative thinking ability of the experimental class students is better than of the control class, the mathematical creative thinking ability of female students are better than male on elaboration and flexibility indicators, whereas the mathematical creative thinking ability of male students are better than female on fluency and originality indicators. Based on the results, it can be concluded that CPS learning can improve student’s creative thinking abilities and different achievement between male and female students.

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang sebuah permasalahan untuk mencari solusi terkait penentuan rute terpendek yang harus ditempuh. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah unutk mengetahui dasar-dasar algoritma A* yang berguna untuk meneliti rute pendistribusian bahan baku berupa kacang tanah dari PT. Dua Kelinci ke beberapa daerah di Kabupaten Pati. Penelitian ini menggunakan bantuan program MATLAB. Data yang dibutuhkan berupa tempat-tempat produksi kacang tanah yang diperoleh dari kantor PT. Dua Kelinci. Selanjutnya, peneliti melakukan pencarian jarak dengan menggunakan bantuan Google Maps. Data tersebut dianalisis dengan menggunakan penghitungan manual yang kemudian hasilnya dibandingkan dengan hasil penghitungan yang menggunakan program MATLAB. Dari kedua cara penghitungan data tersebut, jarak terpendek pendistribusian kacang tanah di Kabupaten Pati adalah 218,4 km. Rute nya adalah sebagai berikut: PT. Dua Kelinci – Kecamatan Margorejo – Kecamatan Pati – Kecamatan Tayu – Kecamatan Tlogowungu –Kecamatan Gembong – Kecamatan Tambakkromo – Kecamatan Gunung Wungkal – Kecamatan Trangkil – Kecamatan Puncakwangi – PT. Dua Kelinci. Analisis penghitungan dengan cara manual maupun MATLAB menghasilkan jarak tempuh dan rute yang sama untuk mencapai semua titik dengan jarak minimal. This research studies a problem solution related to the determination of the shortest route to pass. It aims to find out the basics of algorithm A* due to the analysis of the shortest route to distribute peanuts materials from Dua Kelinci Company to the certain subdistricts in Pati Regency. This analysis uses the help of MATLAB program. The collected data is about the places of peanuts production. It was taken from the office of Dua Kelinci Company. After collecting the data, the mileage between the company and the distribution places was taken using Google Maps application. The data is analysed by using manual calculation. The result of it is then compared with the result of MATLAB calculation. The analysis using both ways of calculation shows that the shortest mileage to distribute peanuts materials in Pati Regency is 218,4 km. The route is described as follows: Dua Kelinci Company – Margorejo Subdistrict – Pati Subdistrict – Tayu Subdistrict – Tlogowungu Subdistrict – Gembong Subdistrict – Tambakkromo Subdistrict – Gunung Wungkal Subdistrict – Trangkil Subdistrict – Puncakwangi Subdistrict – Dua Kelinci Company. Both manual and MATLAB calculation result the same mileage and route to reach all points with the minimum distance.

This research aims to describe mathematics creative thinking skill reviewed by habits of mind on probing-prompting learning with open-ended approach. The used research method is mixed method with concurrent embedded design. The population of this research consisted of X grade SMA N 1 Sumpiuh, in academic year 2019/2020. The subjects consisted of seven selected students based on high, moderate, and low habits of mind. The technique of collecting the data used mathematics creative thinking skill test, habits of mind questionnaire, and interview. The results showed that the description of students' mathematics creative thinking skills in each category of high, moderate, and low habits of mind had different mastery of mathematics creative thinking skills. This difference does not depend on the category of students' habits of mind, but because of students’ learning activities.

Improving communication skill through mathematics learning should be owned by students in their daily lives. Such effort should be done to reach mathematics learning purpose. This research aims to create review effectiveness of CIRC typed cooperative learning to students? mathematics communication skills, and obtain the existence of mathematics communication skill differences reviewed by student emotional quotient. This mixed method research used triangulation concurrent method. The subjects were fifth graders of 03 Public Primary School Ngaliyan Semarang. The findings showed that CIRC typed cooperative learning reached classical accomplishment with only 68.57%. It meant it had not reached classical accomplishment criteria 70%. The average of mathematics communication skill test by using CIRC was 71.54, better than those taught by discovery learning with 54.43. There was improvement of the students? mathematics communication. And the emotional quotients of the students did not influence their mathematics communication skill improvement. Thus, it could be concluded that CIRC typed cooperative learning could effectively improve mathematics communication skills of the students. Based on the findings, it is suggested to create questions emphasizing on indicators and implementing emotional quotients as efforts to improve mathematics communication skills.?

C Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning model supports students to focus on learning and skill processes. CPS learning, students could select, process, and develop their responses in solving a problem creatively. Metacognition plays an important role in CPS since it could monitor students in selecting and using strategy to improve further cognitive performance. This research aims to find out effectiveness of CPS learning model on mathematics creative thinking skill reviewed from students’ metacognitions. This mixed method research used sequential explanatory design. The population consisted of VIII graders at SMP N 4 Kudus. The samples consisted of experimental class with CPS learning and control class with discovery learning. The first stage of thr research was quantitative data collection. It were done using test and questionnaires to categorized the subject. The next stage was qualitative data collections which were done by using questionnaires and interview. Data of quantitative data were triangulated with the qualitative data to gain the goal of the research. The findings showed that CPS model was effective to improve creative thinking skill reviewed from students’ metacognitions. Students with high metacognition in the experimental class are more creative than the control class. CPS learning can improve students' creative thinking through the stages of idea finding to acceptance finding, because students can find new ideas and choose the right solution from some of the ideas they have. Mathematics creative thinking skill of the students with high metacognition shown form the students’ ability in writing problem solving skill of creative questions logically and could provide other notions. Students with medium category have the similar achievement but can correct errors; meanwhile students with low metacognition can wrote problem solving skill of creative questions quite logically and still have problems in giving ideas.
